Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Halliburton Test Questions Here by Fremaxx: 12:42pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
We didn't start on time until around 10a.m because of screening and the weather. The questions were just mathematics 20 multiple choice questions for 35 minutes. I was literally guessing the answers. There was one question on ' which two physical quantities are not the same. I guessed angular velocity and Planck's constant was the answer. And you have to be fast. Calculator was allowed. |

I totally agree with you. People need to understand that we are not in control of the recruitment process so we can't determine the type, the pattern of the questions or the time allocated to the questions to be set. I didn't do well in the most of the sections and when I look back, there was nothing I could do better than that. I tried my best and I am just praying for the odds to favor me. And if it doesn't, I know that I have another path to take. So start accepting your fate and move on COOLCATS: are you the one that determines the suitability of the test you are given. What kind are you looking out for? You want to set the question yourself? Are you are recruitment consultant? Dragnet is known to have conducted test for many firms in Nigeria- multinational and indigenous. Do you think the management of these companies and the HR department of these companies don’t know what they are doing? You guys need to learn many things. Stop complaining and go prepare for the next one. |

If you get an interview invite for graduate engineer position, Please kindly inform us on this group. I wonder why ppl want to kill themselves on top Dragnet's questions whether it was repeated or not. Medicine after death won't solve anything. Dragnet did its job period. There are answers to the questions asked and they want someone with an high IQ to solve them as quickly as possible. Just pray the odds favor you. To be honest with you anybody can be hired for the graduate engineer position as long as you are qualified and you will undergo the necessary training to be competent. There is no excuse for failure. We just have to keep trying our best. ExxonMobil maybe jackpot to most of us here but the real jackpot is from God. Keep believing in God (Allah) and don't give up. |

Good write up but mixed feeling. Because he is a staff doesn't guarantee you a job. It's just a maybe situation. Then secondly, people are trying to express their feeling in the trend but they should be careful the way they express it by not insulting anybody. You said if you meet the person at the last stage of the interview how would you feel? Does he know who insulted him?We are all anonymous here on this platform trying to get and share information among ourselves like a team which is effective. I just feel it was an unnecessary assumption you made there. Just to be clear so far he is on this platform, he is an assumed job seeker whether he is a contract or permanent staff, HR, MD or even member of the board or even a dragnet staff. EdoBoy90: Some of you here will just come here and be ranting insults on people who are faceless.
ExxonMobil staff(s) are also on this thread. If you haven't seen or have encountered with anyone here, I have had encountered or seen too.
Even though you didn't get this job, you can build your network for future purpose. Insults will not make you to do that.
I was so shocked here when I saw someone insulted an ExxonMobi'sl Staff here, I just looked and laughed then passed. He or she could be the MD of ExxoMobil and you never can tell. What of you now meet such person at the last stage of your interview, how would you feel?
In summary, respect people on any platform. Build your network. Be humble. Be positive. We will always rise when we try to lift others from nowhere to somewhere.
It is still someone that will give you that jobs not "a job will give you job". No matter how intelligent you are, it is people that will lift you UP |

Thanks and Congrats bro. 1cor2v9: Baba, cool down . there is no MECHANICAL ENGINEERING dragnet questions. Everybody will be subjected to the same format of question. Expect nothing outside numerical, verbal and logical reasoning on the day. Just bury yourself right now in mastering how to answer the questions with speed and accuracy.
WISHING EVERYONE ALL THE BEST. |

If you are already in a Nigerian university and your course is nice then I don't think you need to apply for this scholarship. You're very young Elektra1177: Hey guys. I had 5A's and 4 B's in WAEC. I'll be 18 in April, 2019. Sad thing is I sorta finished school early so my WAEC is dated 2016. Do I still stand a chance? I'm really interested in this scholarship. |
