NOC on the other hand like you rightly said are largely government owned. A national goverment would typically own a controlling stake in such entity. CNOOC , AramCo, Gazprom etc

When you are done with the verification of documents, then you get the panel number which is not p anything from the invite. Just stay positive and go for your interview.

I am not working in ey but I just observed this from a previous trend on nairaland. Some will even get interview invite in July. Those big 4 companies take their time to conduct interviews as applicants are voluminous and they will take a lot of candidates from different fields of study

You guys should calm down. From my observation, it's in batches. People got invite for a face to face interview for next week. Another set will get an invite next week for upper week interview. Just calm down.

@Fremaxx, I fully comprehend the whole 24-hour timeframe thing. However, if you check most posts capturing snapshots as provided by applicants on page 6. You would notice that they were posted in real time. To prove this, kindly check the time snapshots were posted against time(s) the person posted on the forum.

That lilwetdick is very stubborn. You don't need to abuse someone before you make a point. GTB, Access bank, Nigerian brewery, nnpc, standard chartered bank, GTbank, union bank, stanbic ibtc, CBN, kpmg, P&G, Halliburton, ExxonMobil, shell, chevron, agip, saipem, Schneider electric, McKinsey, etc pay above 200k. So many more.

Even a bsc graduate in the police force earns above 200k. This 40- 70k you are talking about is for the bsc holders who have accepted lower role or position in a company like office assistant, admin officer, security,customer service representative, sales representative etc. Especially all those roles with big names but no correct career path. We, Nigerians,have been forced to accept any job role so far it fetches small change.
An average bsc salary in Nigeria is 100k meaning that so many are collecting 200,300,400k and 600k while others are collecting 30, 40, 70k.

for the oil companies and some companies that pay well, only few graduates get employed, so we are still left with many employed graduates getting 40- 70k per month.

Just practise shl materials from the dropbox link in this trend whether it's 2013 or 2014. Practise shl materials from the shl site by registering with them. Read on how to answer verbal reasoning true/false/cannot say. Practise data interpretation for the numeric section from easy to hard level. Just prepare a time to study 3- 4 hours top if it gets interesting. Then work on your time to finish. The more you practise, the more you stand a better chance.

I want to repeat what I have said before in this trend that you should not waste your time, money and energy if you're not a chemical engineer. If you think you have prepared well for the chemical engineering questions and your course is not chemical engineering, please feel free to try your luck. There are two sections. The first is the chemical engineering section which contains 120 multiple choice questions for 60 minutes, the second section is the general aptitude section which contains 100 multiple choice questions for 60 minutes. The general aptitude test is the toughest. I believe the questions are from Indian common admission test with area of concentration on logical reasoning, verbal reasoning and data interpretation. Trust me they are tough without preparation. They are simple with preparation. Just try your best and Good luck.
The advert stated only chemical engineers. The invigilator mentioned it. So don't waste your energy on this recruitment.

I am just laughing. Somebody listed some topics ranging from heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical thermodynamic, chemical plant economics. Everything was in the test. It was a real test of knowledge. For the general aptitude test mehn read anything as there data interpretation, logical reasoning questions, combination, GRE, cat questions, GMAT. It was a test of speed and knowledge. Just try your best. To tell you what exactly to read. I feel like telling you to read everything
