We should not be idolizing people with questionable source of wealth, the last time I checked this guy is into internet fraud, but many people here are just praying and to be like him. Those with legitimate wealth don't come out on social media to flaunt their wealth like this guy does all the time. Money is good but when the source is questionable, then we should ignore them.

Family › Re: Prophecy From My Pastor: To Heed Or Not To Heed by frenchman(m): 2:28pm On Dec 12, 2014
Madam, I'm not judging you o, but do you honestly think in your heart of hearts that you have been fair on your husband. He may not be here to defend himself, but there is a judge above all judges that will give each person according to their deeds. Simply because you are now claiming benefit from the government he has suddenly become useless. Will you say the same thing if there is no benefit system? This is happening a lot among nigerians in the western world, especially when the women have been brought by the man from home.
Search your conscience, if you think you have done the right thing, then good luck otherwise ask for God's forgiveness and retrace your steps. My 2 cents.
Family › Re: Prophecy From My Pastor: To Heed Or Not To Heed by frenchman(m): 12:18pm On Dec 09, 2014
When you were back home with your kids, there was no prophecy, when you came here with no access to benefit, there was no prophecy. Now you are able to claim benefit and do away with the man, you now remembered to find out if he was your husband or not. Please in whatever you do fear God o. We don't know the story of your husband but whatever it is, why didn't you divorce him when he was about to take you and your kids abroad. Well my advise to you is to leave thus new man and just start dating your pastor. It will be easier for you that way.

"Due to the circumstances, the Independent Committee stated "There is no suggestion, nor any grounds for suspicion, that the offence may have been deliberate in order to prevent testing.", and that a fair ban would have been 3 months. Ohuruogu passed tests 9 days before and 3 days after her final violation"

This was the verdict of the committee set up to investigate Ohurougu. So why would anyone suggest in any way or form that this lady is not worthy of her hard earned victory?
Politics › Re: Lesson To Nigerians Born In The UK: You Are Really Not British by frenchman(op): 3:26pm On Aug 15, 2013
@omonnakoda,do you also know that in the article, among the athletes the author named as being the greatest that Ohurougo could not be possibly compared to was Sally Gunnell, a white lady. This lady won gold at the Barcelona Olympics, shortly after winning this gold, she missed an out of competition drug test. She later claimed she did not know, that she did not know, fair enough. Why was this not mentioned to diminish her olympic gold medal? and why is ohuorogu's case different?
Politics › Re: Lesson To Nigerians Born In The UK: You Are Really Not British by frenchman(op): 3:02pm On Aug 15, 2013
"Ohuruogu was cleared twice by drugs testers either side of her third missed test and three independent inquiries concluded “forgetfulness” was behind her mistake. But every other athlete adhered to the strict rules by practically having their life governed by the doping whereabouts scheme."

She was never found guilty or tested positive for doping, so why bring this up. I think we should stop decieving ourselves. If she were to be a white person, I am sure no one will bring up the fact that she missed being tested for drugs in the past. This is just a simple ploy to water down her victory and record, typical white man's way of undermining a black person's achievement.
Politics › Lesson To Nigerians Born In The UK: You Are Really Not British by frenchman(op): 2:00pm On Aug 15, 2013
I read an article this morning in Yahoo, and I felt pained not only becasue of the racist comment but becasue many Nigerians-in-UK's ignorance about racism. Even though you were born in the UK or carry a british Passport, you are still not recognised or classified as british in real terms. Many Nigerians in UK are still delusional about this.
Please reasd this and comment:

Family › Why Do Some Nigerians Refer To Children As Issues by frenchman(op): 10:03pm On Nov 29, 2012
I do not understand why some of us in our conversation refer to kids as issues. This is not English, as according to the English dictionary, issues is like a problem. So why do Nigerians refer to kids as issue? You hear in normal conversation especially in pidgin English where people say this.

Many of us are hypocrites, and I do not know why people kept condemning this lady. These are two consenting adults engaging in a relationship that is benefiting both parties. From the poster's submission, no one is being coerced int o anything here. Will she rather haves useless irresponsible single guy or a caring married man. My advice to you is, though this man is someone's husband, and you are not ready to marry him or have any baby for him, you can keep seeing him until you find someone that soothes you, who will take care of you. Marriage is not everything, your happiness is paramount.
Christianity Etc › Husbands To Sleep With Dead Wives In Egypt by frenchman(op): 10:03am On Apr 29, 2012
http://www.tribune.com.ng/sun/sunday-zest/7102-egypt-plans-farewell-intercourse-law-so-husbands-can-sleep-with-dead-wives

RUMOURS that the Egyptian Islamist- dominated parliament could legislate to allow husbands have sex with their wives

six hours after they have died have sparked anger. The parliament which was formed after Arab Spring brought about the toppling of Hosni Mubarak’s government which led to the suspension of the constitution, dissolution of NDP (National Democratic Party) and dissolution of the parliament, seems set to change the secular face of Egypt. Rights women enjoyed during Mubarak’s era may soon be eradicated

@Delafruita,
I donot agree with you on that, whatever the guy must have done, this is a corporate environment.
There is usually a process of addressing any wrong doing a junior staff must have done wrong.
You don't pounce on ur subordinate and beat him blue black just because he has done something wrong, you are not his dad for crying out loud.
olisa Adibua is uncivilized and must be on crack. His action was childish and barbaric, only animals fight to show off our powerful they are.

Sorry, if I have generalised all tribes and painted them with the same brush.
My point is, some times the stereotypical impression we have about some tribes are true after all.
Romance › Stereotypical Naija Women by frenchman(op): 5:54pm On Jul 27, 2011
A friend of mine has been having a running battle with his gf for a while now and he is thinking of dumping this babe.
The lady is urhobo, very loud ,aggressive, not submissive and ready to fight at the slightest provocation.
And myself too, I have had some bitter experience in the hands of an ishan  lady before.
So it brings me to the conclusion that, the old stereotype of some naija women are still very true, like ishan women are known to be loud, aggressive and love prostitution to pieces while yoruba women are flirty, money consciuos and dirty. Do u guys agree and is there anyone with similar experience?
