DEFILING CLOTHING
"Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel." Zechariah 3:3

Devil has strategized several means to defile Christians and disqualify them from making the rapture and heaven at last, and so many Christians are falling into these traps. One of the defiling traps in this end time is defiling dress by many acclaimed Christian women, including ministers.

Defiling Dress:
(1) Uncovered - Any top that shows cleavage.
As a woman, if you wear blouse, shirt, or top, it may be a local made or foreign made, it may be traditional style or Western style; if the dress does not cover your chest properly, that is, if a little trace of your chest is shown when you bend down, it means you are gorgeously wearing defiling clothing. You don't need to wear a turtledove top, but you must wear clothing that properly and perfectly cover your chest even when you bend down.

Majority of Christian women wear top that stylishly show their cleavage, because Satan has successfully polluted fashion world and the minds of the tailors so that about 90% of women's tops are defiled. Today, those dresses do not seem wrong again, because every Christian woman wears it, including pastors wives. But the question you should ask yourself is: why will you wear clothes that will show your beasts as a woman? What is your motive? Showing your private part to the world is not only a sin but a serious defilement. Any top that cannot cover your chest properly if you bend down is a defiled clothes, and those who wear it are defiled, unknowingly.

(2) Tight. Any dress you wear that is tight on you, either top or skirt, which shows the shape of your body is a defiling clothes. Showing the anatomy of your body is a modern way of giving people the idea of your unclothedness, and it is not part of holiness in Christ. Those who wear tight clothing are unwittingly entrapped by Satan. Many will later discover this after they die or after the rapture, but it will be too late. You need not to wear a baggy dress, but it must be free on you without any inconveniences, or conveying your body shape.

(3) Transparent. Wearing a dress that is transparent is not only sinful but naturally stupid. The biblical and philosophic purpose of wearing clothes is to cover unclothedness, so if after you wear clothes, your body is still revealed, it is nothing but spiritual and moral indecency, and defilement to the soul. A Christian woman who wears clothes in a way that her underwear is revealed is not a good example of a godly and chaste woman.

(4) Short. Wearing arm-less top, mini skirts or gowns which do not properly cover you kneels are defilement to your Spiritual life.

Urgent repentance is very important, and then you must do away which such defiled dresses and clothing immediately. You may be a matured, or old Christian woman, you may be a minister or women leader; like Joshua, he was a leader but he unknowingly wearing filthy garment. This ministry has the mandate to reveal the truth as guided through the Word of God and the Spirit of God; it is your responsibility to accept or reject it, but I pray for everyone reading this that the Lord will open your spiritual eyes and give you understanding for the truth and to be fruitful there in.

John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

First-fruits was one of the offerings in the Old Testament, is it still applicable in the New Testament? Let's see some facts and truth about FIRST-FRUITS from the Bible.

First-fruits was not just an offering like tithes and offerings, but it was an offering for sacrifice.

Leviticus 2:12. "As for the offering of the first-fruits, you shall offer them to the Lord, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma."

Leviticus 23:20, "The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first-fruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest."

In the New Testament, the word "firstfruits" was mentioned about 8 times, and none was refereed to for offering, because in the New Testament, Jesus Christ became our Firstfruits sacrifice of offering unto God, and the offering of firstfruits is no longer necessary and biblical.

1 Corinthians 15:20, "But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep."

1 Corinthians 15:23, "But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming."

In the New Testament, first-fruits is no longer monetary offering but Christ became our Firstfruits, and then every person who first gives his life to Jesus in a family is the firstfruits of that family; people who first give their lives to Jesus in a particular community or country are the firstfruits of that location, and every first church in a particular community or country is the first-fruits of that place.

Romans 16:5, "Likewise greet the church that is in their house.Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who is the first-fruits of Achaia to Christ."
James 1:18, "Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures."

MONETIZATION OF MODERN CHURCH
Quoting firstfruits from the scripture as a means of collecting money in the church is another means of church monetization of the modern church. Some of those churches who collect offering of first-fruits do that, and put the whole money in the pocket of a single person - the Senior Pastor; now, how will such pastors not become millionaire overnight? Such practice is not only unbiblical but in a wrong means, even the Old Testament first fruits offerings were not given to the High Priest or a single person.

The churches who practice first fruits offering are the churches that have been perverted by modern mammon spirit. Some even go to the extend of telling their church members to redeem their first children with money. If you are redeeming your first child with money in your church, it means the blood of Jesus is not enough to redeem your child. Christians are not redeemed by money or offerings, we are redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:18, 19, "knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

If any pastor or church asks you to redeem your child with an offering, tell them that the offering by the Blood of Jesus Christ is more than enough for the redemption of your children and yourself.

One of the popular pastors in Nigeria whose church practices collection of first-fruits offerings usually visit the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja, every year; and in the churches, (2012) the ministers would announce, "if you want to meet our Daddy G.O at the National Cathedral, you will need to buy invitation card of N15, 000, so you can have access to him." Every year, this church usually sell invitation cards to their members to have access to their senior Pastor, maybe thousands of people do buy the card. The question is that, if you do not pay money to see Jesus, do you have to pay money before you can see the servant of Jesus? This is another monetization in the church.

One of the terrible things about modern church is the possessed spirit of mammon, everything is monetized. Calling certain amount of money for special prayer, selling anointing oil for special blessings, collecting first-fruits offerings and paying money to see a man of God are few of the monetization of the free gifts of God in the church. You will not hear such things from the founding fathers of faith, even in Nigeria. The founding fathers of faith in Nigeria who founded some of the churches did not practice such system of money collections, and if our founding fathers were godly and contented, if they did not collect first-fruits offerings or special invitation offerings, if they did not sell anointing oil or organize special clubs to raise fund, are we wiser than them? Are we wiser than the great men of God whom God used to start our churches?

Wisdom demands that we should all repent from our love of money, and be delivered from the demon of mammon. From whom scripture is given, sincerity is expected. When you know the Truth, He will set you free if you allow Him.

1 Timothy 6:3-5
If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. BARABBAS OR JESUS?
“Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?” Matthew 27:17.

After you repent and confess your sins and become saved by the Blood of Jesus, you need to still make a serious decision, which will determine your destiny: Who do you want to let live in your life, Barabbas or Jesus? Barabbas represents your old sinful lifestyle and nature; your “Self” or Jesus Christ? Somebody must live and somebody must be crucified. You have the choice to make, and it is on daily basis, “Who do you want to let live and reign in your life, and who do you want to crucify?

When you allow your self to reign in you by falling into any form of sin, then you are crucifying Jesus again in your life. On the other way, when you deny your self from giving in to sin, it means you are crucifying yourself and allowing Jesus to live and reign in your life. It is simultaneous.

How To Deny Self
Our identity with Christ comes clear when we deny our “self”, and our heaven is sure at the same time then. After we are saved, self will come again, it is still there. The tendency to commit sin will always come again. For example, the tendency to masturbate will come, it will overwhelm you as if you can’t but do it, but no, you can deny it, as long you don’t aid it or give in to it; the pressure will fade away and you have won in Christ. You need to know that the coming of the tendency to sin in your mind is not a sin except you give in to it. The tendency to get angry will come, the tendency to have sexual immorality, to lie and so on; the feeling will be overwhelming, but all you need is to deny it – by refusing and rejecting it. When you calm down and refuse, the overwhelming feeling will recede.

The more you deny those sinful tendencies, the more you become stronger in Christ and your old self becomes weaker. But when you give in once again, then you crucify Jesus and the sinful self is energized in you. That is how many Christians rise and fall. Though when the sinful tendency feeling comes, as it is overwhelming as if we should give in, but we must constantly deny it by calming down and rejecting the tendency. After you overcome the sinful tendency, don’t relax, it will soon come again, keep watching, praying and be at alert always. Do not think tendency to get angry, to masturbate or commit a particular sin will not come back simply because you overcome yesterday, the battle continues, the race proceeds and the grace of God is abounding.

This does not comes easily, it does not come by our power and self-determination, New Year Resolution, Transcendental Meditation or any religious ritual; to deny our sinful self and reject sinful tendency, we must first have genuine salvation in Christ Jesus, that is the foundation. You surrender your life to Jesus genuinely by repenting and confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord, you can also rededicate your life to Jesus if you have been falling and rising, so as to start better.

Then to deny our “self” on daily basis, we must pray and read Bible daily. We pray for God’s grace to deny ungodliness and worldly lust.

Titus 2:11, 12, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has
appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age”

We pray for strength to reject sinful tendencies, and we read Bible to refresh and grow in the Spirit. Without daily prayer and Bible reading, it is not possible for you to deny yourself. Christians who are too lazy or busy to observe daily Bible reading, at least 2 chapters, and daily prayer at least 1hour, are those Christians who always rise and fall, always fervent and frivolous, always forward and backward in the Spirit. Your prayer must center on your Christian life first, for grace and help of God, before you pray for provision or any earthly blessing.

Make the right decision to dedicate or rededicate your life to Jesus fully and better, and determine to deny and discipline your old sinful self and tendency every day, every minutes – Watch!

BE WISE TO BE WARNED
Matthew 16:26, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(1) IF YOU ARE NOT YET SAVED
Seriously, it doesn't worth it that you gain every desirable position, pleasure and possession of this world and go to hell fire at the end; think about it, does it worth it that you gain less than 100 years pleasure of this life and get more than 1 Million years of pain and plague in life after? Dear, it does not worth it that you lose your soul in eternity just because of temporal profits of this present and passing world, are you a fool?

Do not delays to forsake your sins to experience genuine salvation just because of the profits, pleasure or popularity that you may lose; or because of the persecution you will face. There is nothing in this world as important and precious as the salvation of your dear soul. The end is imminent than you imagine. Repent, confess and forsake your sins as you accept the lordship of Jesus Christ into your life.

(2) IF YOU ARE SAVED
Beloved, it does not worth it that you give up your garment of holiness, your purity and faithfulness in Christ simply because of the promising gain of this world; it does not worth it that you surrender your standard in Christ just because of the fear of persecution and problem of life. Will you allow Satan to fool you to give up your precious eternal life just because of this passing pleasure of this world? Will you compromise your purity and righteousness in Christ just because of money and the craving for riches? How foolish will that be? Will you fall into sin just because of fear of men for persecution or unknown problem? How will you be stupid to give away your gift of life just because of the gain of this going-away world?

Do not fear persecution of men or problem of life and fall into sin, for it is better to die in Christ for not compromising into sin than to dine with Satan for committing sin. Do not fall into sinful demand and system because of earthly riches, pleasure and possession, for it is better to maintain purity in poverty and end up in eternal riches than to make prosperity and profits by worldly wisdom and end up in eternal damnation.

Be wise, be warned and wake up unto righteousness, for our salvation draws nearer than when we first believed.

1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

THE HALF TRUTH OF ERRONEOUS GOSPEL
2 Timothy 3:5, "having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

Many Christians, preachers and churches of today are filled with the heresy of half-truth. Everybody likes truth, everyone want to be associated with truth, and so Satan is deceiving many with half-truth in the name of Truth. If we claim to know the truth of the Word of God, do we know half-truth or the whole truth? If we claim to be saying the truth, are we saying the whole truth or half-truth? Half-truth is more dangerous than no truth at all, but Satan is fooling many Christians and ministers of the church today. They have the elements of truth, but denying the power thereof. Read 2 Timothy 3:5

Half-truth is heresy, and everyone living in half-truth is living an erroneous life. That is the gospel many are carrying about today. Heresy means overemphasizing a part of truth and leaving the other part behind. Many and modern church of today are perfect illustration of heresy, they are overemphasizing some part of the scriptures that sooth them and leaving other parts behind. That is half-truth of heresy. Though they claim what they are preaching is from the Bible, they quote the Bible to back what they preach, but they are preaching heresy – uncompleted truth.

They emphasize on “NO CONDEMNATION” but they ignore the message of “NO CONTINUITY IN SIN” and many Christians are falling victim of this permissive heresy.

The complete truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was demonstrated in John 8:11, when Jesus met the harlot woman and told her, “Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more” No condemnation of sinner, and no continuity of sin after meeting with Jesus. But the heresy of today will emphasize only on “no condemnation” they claim “God does not condemn us, God is merciful and loving, He does not condemn sinners” Yes that is true, but what about the later part of “go and sin no more” They ignore that, and that makes many to fall into heresy.

It is important for us to examine our lives, as Christians, are we part of the Christians living in or preaching half-truth of heresy in this end time? The modern church of today is perverted by Satan to give people false hope, to give people half-truth, to make Christians overemphasize sweet part of the scripture and omit sacrificing part; to make Christians emphasize on promises of the Bible and ignore purity of the Bible, to make many focus on prosperity of this passing world and forget the preparation for the coming of the new and everlasting world. Are you among the deceived Christians of half-truth of heresy or you are among the deceivers of heresy?

Half-truth of confession without repentance will lead to no genuine salvation. We hear message of salvation of today in many churches, from many preachers as “confess and be saved”. That people should just come, come and come, then, “ If you want to give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to enjoy the blessings, prosperity, deliverance and healing, all you need to do is to confess, say it after me ‘Jesus , I have come to you, I confess you as my Savior’ Now you are saved.” This process of confession without repentance will NEVER bring genuine salvation.

That is the reason you hear funny things happening among them, because they don’t have genuine experience of salvation that is the reason such Christians will continue in sin even after they have been ordained ministers, because the foundation is false and faulty.

How can you ask somebody to confess his sin without first telling him to repent? How can you say somebody is saved when the person does not understand what repentance is all about? Confession of sin without first repentance is half-truth that leads to heresy and hell.

Because the preachers who preach confession of sin without repentance do not understand genuine salvation themselves or they want multitude. Christians whose foundation is based on confessions of sin without genuine repentance will always find themselves committing the sins they have confessed. Repentance will make somebody to count the cost before coming to Christ, that you must not only realize your sin, but you must make up your mind to forsake them, that you have the cross of self-denying to bear after you come to Christ, that Christian life is not about prosperity, prophesying but righteousness, truth and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The half-truth of confession without repentance, of coming to Christ and continuing in sin at the same time is heresy of this end time, which every Christian who wants to make rapture must watch against. Confession of sins alone will not bring the mercy of God, but only those who repent, confess and forsake the sin they confess will experience unlimited mercy. Proverbs 28:13.

The Gracious Truth
John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

The true Gospel of the Bible is full of grace and truth. The grace of God through Jesus Christ is no condemnation, that is the grace of the Bible – God’s favour, God’s power to live above sin and victorious over Satan. And the truth of the Gospel is to go and sin no more after we meet Jesus Christ.

Are you living your life in the light of the truth of the Gospel or half-truth of heresy? We must repent before it is too late and rededicate ourselves to the whole truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Genuine salvation of the Gospel is to repent, confess, forsake the confessed sins and follow Jesus in new life. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17

THE FIGHT WITHIN
In our Christian walk with God and work for God, the enemy of our souls will not relent, using different devices and means, and so the Bible strictly warns us not to be ignorant of them because such ignorance is very costly. Looking from the book of Nehemiah, after the people of God were mocked and attacked in order to abandon God’s way and work, they didn't; so the devil brought about the most terrible device against them which is fight within through pollution and perversion.

Through lessons from history, it is easier to resist and overcome fight outside than the fight within. As a child of God with a resolute mind to serve and live for God, it is easier to resist the devil outside than inside. As a church standing on the Word of God, it is easier to fight Satan to flee away than to fight the battle within. The children of Israel conquered all the enemies but they could not conquer themselves.

The people of Nehemiah resisted Sanballat, Tobiah and the Arabs, but they would have to resist perversion and pollution among them. After they overcame mockery and conspiracy, they must overcome their selfish and sinful interests.

Nehemiah 5:1, 6-8, “And there was a great outcry of the people and their wives against their Jewish brethren. 2 For there were those who said, “We, our sons, and our daughters are many; therefore let us get grain, that we may eat and live… And I became very angry when I heard their outcry and these words. 7 After serious thought, I rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them, “Each of you is exacting usury from his brother.” So I called a great assembly against them. 8 And I said to them, “According to our ability we have redeemed our Jewish brethren who were sold to the nations. Now indeed, will you even sell your brethren? Or should they be sold to us?”

Pollution and perversion are the last but not the least among satanic devices; it is applicable in personal and ministerial walks.

Personal Walk
As children of God, dedicated to live holy and righteous life, after we fight opposition from people, after we resist temptation for sexual immorality, lying, drink, fighting and other outward sins; after we have settled restitution and resolved matters with people, having done all, we must stand against the wiles of the devil within. Many believers and ministers of God overcome outward sins but are careless to resist the devil within.

There are two types of sins: Maximum sins and minimum sins, also outward sins and inward sins; all unrighteousness is sin, and sin is sin with capacity to drag one to hell, no matter how small. Most time we focus on maximum and outward sins and we become careless about inward sins, many ministers are free from outward sins but are slaves to inward sins. As the examples given about bitterness, a child of God may not revenge or repay evil for evil, but if he or she allows bitterness, Satan has eventually won the battle. Among children of God today, among ministers of God, many claim to be holy based on outward sins but fail to look inward and be watchful.

In our personal walk with God, after we overcome outward sins and opposition, Apostle Paul admonished us to still stand and watch against the wiles of the devil because it does not end outward. Here are some of the inward sins we must daily watch against:

Ephesians 4:31 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.” Bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking – gossip, backbiting, envy, jealousy, etc – must be put away, because the tendency will always come without notice in our personal relationship and in the work of God among other workers and ministers; watch out, they come on a daily bases.

To overcome bitterness, the solution is forgiving one another. To overcome wrath, anger, and clamor, the solution is to be tenderhearted. And to overcome tendency of evil speaking, the solution is kindness to one another. These are stated in the next verse to Ephesians 4:31, verse 32 says, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

Do you know as times goes on in your Christian life, it may be easier to resist telling lies than to resist envy and jealousy? And worst still, do you know that it is easier to develop envy and jealousy among brethren and ministers than among family members and unbelievers? It is also easier to develop bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking after we have become mature in the Lord than when we first gave our lives to Jesus; it is easier among the workers and ministers of God. In the parable of the workers of the vineyard, the old and long time workers were rebuked of such evil. Matthew 20:13 But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 15, “Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’”

Along our Christian walks and ministerial works, if care is not taken, we can become evil, evil speaking, envious and jealous. The only remedy is selflessness and watchfulness.

SOLUTION
Continuous watchfulness against such notions and constant prayer of sanctification are the solutions.

Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, we have come to you, we have surrendered our lives to You. We want to walk with you and work for You, so we ask You to sanctify us within and without, help us to watch daily against every pollution of soul, of mind and of the spirit. We ask in Jesus name. Amen

HOW THEY GOT YOU DECEIVED!
The prosperity preachers preach of the peace of God without pleasing God, they preach crown without cross, they preach faith without faithfulness, they preach resting in the Lord without restitution, they preach forgiveness of God without forsaking sins, they preach confession without repentance, they preach wonders of God without watchfulness in Him, they preach second touch of God’s supernatural blessing without preaching the second coming of Jesus; they preach open heaven of God’s blessing without the open heaven of God’s judgment.

These super-rich pastors promise heaven abounding for their followers without holiness of life, whereas it is written clearly in the Bible that without holiness no man shall see the Lord, Heb. 12:14, it is because the followers have covetous hearts for sweat-free gospel.

They deceive you with deceptive words because your heart is inclined towards deception, they cheaply parted you from your money because you also got the money in an ungodly cheap way or you want cheap blessing, they are feeding you with cheap gospel because you have appetite, covetous heart for cheap gospel, for broad road.

1 Timothy 6:5, "useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself."

THE SNARES OF FEAR
Proverbs 29:25, "The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe."

Fear is opposite of faith. Fear is so terrible that it destroys life here on earth and in eternity. There are two major snares of fear people usually fall into, which Satan uses to ruin lives:

SNARE OF SIN
Majority of sins people commit are as a result of fear; Satan ensnares people with sin through fear. Why have you not totally surrendered your life to Jesus? It is because of fear of what people will say and how it will go with you. Why are you still covering a particular sin of your past? It's because of fear of what people will say. Why have you not done the necessary restitution till now? It is because of fear of what will happen after. Why are you still in a sinful relationship or in ungodly profession or company? It is because of fear of uncertainty. If you should be sincere with yourself, why do you tell lie? It is because of the fear of how people will respond to the truth? Why did you forge or falsify your document, your age to get job or your paper done? It is because of fear of what to eat and how to survive. Why did you steal and embezzle? It is because of fear of life. Why do you find it hard to confess and open up what you did wrong? It is simply because of the fear of how people will respond. Why do people keep displeasing God in order to please men? Because of fear of men. Why are you still in the occult group? It's because of fear. And you know what? If you don't loose yourself now by the Truth, Satan will use that fear to hold and ensnare you till you land in hell.

Before sin is fear. As it is impossible to please God without faith, it is impossible to remain under Satan bondage without fear. There are different types of satanic fear: There is fear of uncertainty, fear of men, fear of the future, economic fear, egoistic fear, surviving fear, unknown fear, etc. Devil uses these to keep people under his bondage of sin until no chance for a second chance.

It is a sin to fear any man or anything, only God alone is to be feared; fearing any one or anything less than God Almighty only brings snares. But the truth is that it is easier to be free from fear that to fear, it is so easy to get freedom from fear than to remain in the bondage of fear. All you need is FAITH! If you have faith in your self or in any religion, you will be seriously disappointed, but the faith you need is faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you receive salvation; after salvation, by faith you work out your salvation, you work away from sinful things; by faith you open up, by faith you reject sinful benefits and hold on to God. By faith you do restitution, by faith you silent fear and free yourself through faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you please God. Faith will make you free from snares of sin, while others are compromising and falling into the snares of sins because of fear, you will stand firm in faith in Christ without compromise.

SNARE OF SATANIC ATTACK
2 Timothy 1:7, " For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Do you wonder why many genuine children of God are being attacked by demonic people? It is because of fear. You can be a child of God and still remain under bondage of Satan and evil people, why? Because of fear! Without fear, it is impossible for a child of God to be attacked by Satan. When you genuinely give your life to Jesus Christ, you have power and authority over Satan, demons and all demonic people Matthew 10:1. But while you are suppose to command authority over evil spirits, they can exercise authority over you if you are afraid of them. You can be a child of God and your ship of marriage, health, family and finance can sink if you are afraid, simple. Many children of God think they need special anointing before they can overcome principalities and power, no, what they need is faith in Jesus Christ. If you call the name of Jesus without faith in that name, it may not always work for you. You can be a sinless Christian and remain in the snare of satanic attack, simply because of fear.

If you have been attacked by evil people before you gave your life to Jesus, and after you are saved, you are still afraid instead of you to exercise authority in Jesus name, you will remain under the attack. Do you know how Satan brings children of God under his snare of attack? It is by scaring, he scares people by dreams, by negative thoughts and evil utterances of demonic people; instead of such children of the most high God to exercise authority to resist the devil, reject the thoughts and rebuke those dirty demonic people and cast down every evil imagination, they become afraid and fall victim.

You know what? It will be biblically impossible for you to overcome what you are afraid of, it is just God's mercy that preserves us most times. Fear brings you into the snare of what you are afraid of; if you are afraid of wizards and witches, you will be ensnared by them. Churches and pastors who preach and pray mostly about demonic attacks are under the bondage of Satan. It is also one of the major distractions of Satan in the churches today; while we ought to be praying for more of God's grace and righteousness in our lives, we are busy chasing after witchcraft; while we suppose to be running away from sins, we are running away from enemies, and while we ought to be running after God's kingdom and His righteousness, we are running after "so called" deliverance.

If you always have the consciousness and awareness of demonic attacks in your life, if you always pray and fast against attack of the enemies, it means you are already under the bondage of Satan. Christians who pray every time against attacks of witches, wizards, or demonic people are under the snare of the devil, they will never be free, because they will never stop such prayers. Churches and Christians who pray "demonic and enemies" prayers are never free because they never stop praying such prayers. Some of them have been praying such prayers for the past 20 years and they still pray it till today; they believe enemies are siting on their destinies, and so it happens, they believe enemies are covering their destines and so the enemies do; they are never free from the bondage of witches and demonic people, they will never be free until they have faith in Jesus because It will happens to you according to your faith.

If you are a child of God, your priority is purity of life, because purity gives power over sin, Satan and all his demonic and human agents. You cannot run away from sins and run away from Satan at the same time; you cannot run away from unrighteousness and run away from witches and wizards at the same time. When you surrender your life to Jesus and run away from sin, Satan is under your feet and demonic people will see you and run away. Today, Christians run away from demonic people, because of fear. Many are so afraid that they don't go to Barbing shop to cut their hair, being afraid of the demonic barbers using their hair. Churches who preach and pray always on demonic attacks are teaching the doctrines of demons, Bible only teaches us to exercise authority over them and focus on righteousness and evangelism. Running from pillar to post because of problems of enemies is because something is wrong with you; you are either under the bondage of sin or snare of fear.

In Jesus is freedom and total freedom. You need total freedom from bondage of sin by repenting and surrendering your entire life to Jesus. You need total freedom over Satan and his principalities by faith in Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ, the Blood of Jesus Christ and fire of Holy Spirit are three spiritual weapons for every child of God which no Satan, no powers, no principalities, no personalities, no people or person can withstand in our lives. Philippians 2:10, 11. Revelation 12:11. Hebrews 12:29.

When you are saved and serving God, you must "fear not" lest you fall into the snare of Satan. Fear is a sin of disobeying, disregarding and disrespecting God, as if God's power is not enough to preserve you, as if Satan is more powerful than your God. So why are you afraid? God warns us about 365 times to "fear not", disobeying that only brings danger. You don't need specialized deliverance minister or church, what you need is faith in Jesus Christ for your deliverance. You don't need to go to special mountain or special program, what you need is faith in the power of Jesus Christ for your total freedom and protection, simple! It is not your prayer or your power that will do it, so you need not to worry, it is the power of Jesus that will do it.

1 John 3:8, "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."

FALSE TEACHING ON RICHES AND PROSPERITY

Some preachers, both in Africa and in America, claim THAT IF YOU ARE FINANCIALLY RICH, YOU WILL SERVE GOD BETTER. This is a grand unbiblical, false teaching of demons in this end time. If you want to serve Jesus Christ well and make heaven, you will listen to what He Himself says about riches and wealth, not what the agents of Satan are saying in the name of pastor, bishop, evangelist or daddy G.O. Jesus Christ taught about riches and wealthy so clear that no serious minded Christian should be misled. Sometimes I wonder how popular and acceptable the doctrines of demons on riches and prosperity is among today’s Christians as if Jesus never taught about it, why can’t we follow the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ on this topic instead of being deceived and carried away by the teachings of Satan through his agents?

Jesus Christ says if you are rich, it becomes more difficult for you to make heaven. Matthew 19:23, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” This Bible verse is a direct statement from Jesus Christ, which the prosperity preachers will never talk about, they will even wish to remove it from the Bible. What it means is that the more you are financially rich, the more it becomes hard for you to make heaven, the more you need extra grace, watchfulness and purity. But on the contrary, the teachings of Satan through his enormous agents – prosperity preachers – says that if you are financially rich, it helps you to serve God better. Have you not heard such thing before and believe it? That if you are financially prosperous and rich, you will be able to serve God very well. You will never find such in the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ or His apostles or even among our contemporary fathers of faith, but only among the agents of Satan who call themselves prosperity preachers, motivational speakers, senior pastors, daddy G.O of Satan, bishops of demons and evangelists of hell.

The teaching that more riches makes easier for a Christian to serve God is on the contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ and from the pit of hell. And many are being deceived today, that is the reason many Christians are looking for riches by all means because they believe it will help them to serve God better. The only thing to makes it easier to serve God is grace, not financial riches or prosperity.

The teachings of demons exalts prosperity more than purity, and that you can see in many churches’ preaching, prayer points, and among their preachers books and CDs, they preach and prayer on financial riches and prosperity as if that is the purpose of Jesus Christ dying on the cross.

You know what the Bible says about any preacher or pastor that preaches or prays on riches than righteousness or on prosperity than purity, such person is useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. – 1 Timothy 6:5

Bible does not say you should continue to attend a church where financial riches is exalted than righteousness, where prosperity is preached often more than purity of life, and it does not says you should keep reading books, watching program or listen to CDs of such preachers, you know what the Bible says? It says withdraw yourself from such. 1 Timothy 6:5.

When you attend a church where 6 out of 10 prayer points center on financial breakthrough and open doors of earthly blessings, where 6 out of 10 consecutive preaching and messages are about prosperity, favour, grace, glory of financial or material blessings and earthly stuffs, then you are in a mortuary, not a sanctuary. The Bible warns you to withdraw from such before you also become a living death Christian. 1 Timothy 6:5.

And you as a Christian, if 6 out 10 f your prayer points, center on riches of life, prosperity or problems of life, then you have become a spiritual member of Laodicea church. If your personal pursuits, program or plans are all about living a comfortable or prosperous life, to possess more of things of this life, to be popular, to have more money or to get the latest of materials in this passing world, then you are a living dead. You need to rededicate your life to Jesus afresh lest you perish with this world

The Bible says in the end-time many will be deceived by the doctrines of prosperity and riches, many churches that started well will end up at the feet of Satan. And are there not many who are falling apart? Are there not many Christians who are following the doctrines of Balaam? Are there not many who will miss heaven? But you must strive to make it to heaven in this perilous time.

It is all about priority! When we get our priority right to make first thing first, to seek the kingdom of God and its righteous living first, to pray and preach first on the kingdom of God, to live first for the kingdom of God, to work first for the kingdom of God in evangelism and good deed of sharing and supporting others with our riches, then prosperity from God in our lives will not become problem to our spiritual lives.

THE FORETOLD VICTORY FOR THE NEW YEAR!

As I was watching a movie – The Grace Card - with my family last night, it got to a point I was so concerned that I asked my wife who had already watched the movie before, “Will the boy die?” My wife said, “No, he won’t die” And I asked again, “What about the man?” She said he won’t die either. So I was comfortable watching. But it got to some point as if the boy in the movie was going to die, but since my wife, who had already watched the whole film said the boy would not die, I wasn’t so move, I had been foretold. But I almost doubt my wife at some points because of the way the movie was going. But the boy didn’t die. It was a wonderful movie of forgiveness and hope in the Lord.

The exact thing is happening in our real life. God who knows the end before the beginning, He has gone ahead of us in this new year and foretelling us the victory His Son Jesus Christ has gotten for us. When we get into tough situation, and seems things are working not good, we ask God, “Am I not going to die in this situation?” And God answered us through His word, “No, you are not going to die, but live”.

You ask again, “Enh, God, is this situation not going to overcome me?” God said no, it will not overcome you. You ask by the reason of situation surrounding you, “Am I going to really make it in this year 2019” God says yes, you will make it. You ask, “God, am I going to really get married happily?” God says, yes you will not only get married, but happily married with a blessed home. You ask, “Am I going to have my own children?” God says yes, you will have wonderful children. You ask, “Am I going to survive this sickness?” God says, “Yes, I am your Healer” And then you also ask, “God, am I really going to get provisions to meet all these needs in this year?” And God says, “Yes, because I am your Provider.” And you also ask, “Lord God, I hope I am not going to be put to shame in life as things are going now.” And God says, “My child, you are not going to be put to shame, but be put to success.”

“That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” Hebrews 6:18

Yes, we know God cannot lie, but because of the present and persistent situation, we tend to doubt what God says. My brethren, God has already gone through the story of our lives, He knows the end of everything before their beginning, and He is saying, “relax, no problem, I’m in charge.” We will do ourselves much good by relying on what God says to us. Have faith in what God says, not fear in what you see now. “Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

NOTE 1: Make sure you always go to the right Person, that is God, to ask about anything to that troubles you.

NOTE 2: Believe what God tells you will be, then relax and continue. Don’t stop and don’t sin, because the end will be a sweet testimony!

THE SECRETS OF SERVING GOD (PLEASE READ THIS)
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

The truth is that, you either serve God or you serve the devil; you can not serve both together. To many, serving God seems difficult, while to others, it is like impossible or unattainable task. But when we do it right and realize the secrets, it becomes easy and successful.

THE RIGHT START!
The only acceptable way to serve God is through Jesus Christ, you need to experience genuine salvation through Jesus Christ. Many are having it hard in their Christian lives because they have it wrong or they are taking it wrong way. Christian life without genuine salvation makes it terribly difficult and impossible. If you want to serve God acceptably and successfully, you need to start well. Genuine salvation starts with repentance; many are starting their Christian lives with confession, and they find it hard to overcome sin and Satan, they keep confessing and committing sins. Repentance is the solid base, it is realizing your sins and ready to forsake them. After your genuine readiness to forsake sins, then you go ahead and confess, ask God to forgive and cleanse you through the Blood of Jesus Christ; ask Him to save you, then you are saved.

RUNNING THE RACE: 2 ISSUES
(1) The point is that your salvation helps you to forsake sins, but you can't forget everything about sin; after you surrender your life to Jesus, the formal thoughts of sin will still come, the tendencies and temptation will come. Some time you will feel weak and vulnerable, and suggestion may come to your mind to give in to sin by the pressures within and without. Sometimes, this pressure will be so pressing as if you can't but give in to it; people outside may be pressing you to yield to sin again. The memory of the past sin may flood your mind as if you have not be saved, and Satan will try to confuse you that you are not a child of God. Another common issue is after you have resisted a particular sinful habit and you think that is the end, you may be surprised that the tendency will re-surge after some months or years. You may be disturbed and wonder why that again? The reason is because Satan is not dead yet and he is desperate about your dear life. You resist him, he goes and then look for another opportunity to come, as he did to Jesus. "Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time." Luke 4:13.

(2) After you rededicated or re-devoted your life to Jesus, you want to serve God, you want to please God, you want to pray more, you want to read God’s Word more; you want to preach God’s Word. But then you feel empty. When you want to pray, before you pray for 5 minutes you are empty, before you read few verses of Bible you feel sleepy, your heart is wondering about. It is like your prayer can’t be answered, as if you are not meant to be strong spiritually, as if you can’t be strong in prayer, as if God hates you or you are not a child of God. Has it happened to you before? What next came to your mind? "STOP!" That you should, “stop the prayer, the reading Bible, the new life in Jesus. You will always fumble, you are not meant for such life. You are naturally week and God is not really looking for such people like you.” The secret is that such a thought is not just ordinary; it is from the devil to discourage you from moving forward.

SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
(1) DON'T GIVE IN. Do not give in or yield to sinful thoughts, tendencies or temptations. We cannot pray that temptation should not come but we can pray unto God to deliver us from temptation, by His grace and strength. Keep resisting the devil as many times he comes with temptations, keep standing, don't relent, keep praying and watching every moment. Many Christians successfully resisted the devil at the first hand, but later they felt relaxed and fell afterward. A Christian who comes out of past nature of lust, immorality, masturbation or anger, he may stand to resist after his salvation but he needs to keep standing and resisting, because the tendencies may still come over again. The secret is that you keep resisting through prayer and Satan will keep fleeing from you.

(2) DON'T STOP. You are praying and you feel empty and wondering about? Don’t stop, continue the prayer, God understand your weakness. The secret is keep on the prayer, you will be filled by the Spirit of God before you finish the prayer. The secret is that the first few minutes of prayer, praising God in Spirit or reading Bible are likely to be distracted and discouraged; but if you don’t stop you will be filled, full and stronger.

The same thing is applicable in your new life in Jesus, in your re-devotion, re-dedication and consecration to God. It will first be un-natural, boring, discouraging, and cumbersome as if you can’t stay long, as if you can’t survive or sustain to the end, as if you can’t understand everything or be holy. Do you remember when you got your first phone and going through the manual? It was as if you would not get the functioning right, but now you are almost an expert, why because you didn’t stop using and practicing the phone. So also if you don’t stop in your new devotion to Jesus, you will get better and stronger. It is applicable to everyone, both the people in the past and present; all who have ever come to Jesus went through such striving, only they didn’t give up and many are passing though similar things. But Satan will want to personalize it to you as if you are the worst. The devil is a LIAR!

CO N C L U S I O N !
When the people, pressure, persuasion or feeling to commit sin comes again, DON’T YIELD! It is then you will discover the strength and grace of God as your weakness is turned to strength. When the feeling of being empty, of wondering of thoughts, of weakness, of discouragement and despair comes to stop you from your decision and move to serve God, DON’T STOP! If you don’t stop you will be strong. Take your weakness to God in prayer and get strength and grace everyday.

1 Peter 5:8. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

HOW TO HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PERIOD
What matters on Christmas is Christ that we celebrate in mass, and He must daily be celebrated in our lives. On Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Year celebration, here are the tips:

1, Share Gifts and Gospel With People. Christmas is all about sharing, “For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten Son”. Whatever you are sharing, please share the gospel with it. 2, Have a Good Time With Family and Friends. In celebrating Christmas, this is an opportunity to share the message of salvation with family and friends, include it in your messages and wishes of Christmas. This is also an opportunity to reconnect, remember, or call family members and friends.

3, You Can Invite & Visit. Your family can invite brethren, family members or friends for dinner and watch Christian movies together. You can also use the period to visit, share the word of God around.

4, Reflect On Your Personal Christian Life. Yes, Christ is born, but are you born again. Is the purpose of Christ coming to the world fulfilled in your life?

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

The primary purpose of Jesus Christ coming into this world is not to give your prosperity, healing or good life here on earth, but it is to give you everlasting life – saving you from sin and eternal damnation. Until you realize this, every other thing are unrealistic.

Luke 17:35, "Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”

If you miss your booked flight at the Airport, you can wait for another flight, but there is a flight you must not miss, because it will happen once, that is the flight of the rapture to heaven, it is called the catching away of the saints by Jesus.This rapture will happen within seconds when the angel of God will blow the trumpet…in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound. 1 Corinthians 15:52. There will be sudden disappearance of Christians who have experienced genuine salvation, who have opened up their secret sins, settled needed restitution and living in holiness and righteousness from the blemishes of the world till the seconds of the rapture. Many people will be left behind throughout the world, many Christians will be left behind also, why? Because they are not well prepared. The left behind at the flight of the rapture will be left to blight of the Anti-Christ and eternal doom; that will be devastating and destructive occurrence which never happens since the beginning of the world. This unprecedented occurrence can happen any seconds from now without any warning or feeling of awareness.

If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord, you are at the danger of being left behind to the mercy of Satan, If you are postponing your salvation, you are in serious danger; you need to surrender your life to Jesus now. if you are a Christian and toiling with sins, rising and falling, you need to rededicate your life to Jesus totally now! If you have been saved, serving God but there are some little worldliness in your lifestyles or unconfesed sin, or inconsistency in your Bible reading, prayer life, Christian life, or unforgiving people you have ignored, or unsettled restitution, you may also be among the left behind group, you need to surrender and settle all now. It may happen right when you are angry or getting involved in something sinful, and that is the end. You need to totally surrender all, every area of your life to Jesus and at all time, because the rapture will happen within seconds and there will not be second chance for another rapture.

Many Senior pastors and big ministers of God will be left behind, many church leaders, workers and many Christians will be left behind, and all unbelievers will be dazed, at last, it will happen! If at the moment you are reading this message rapture has not happened, then you have the chance to make the rapture. Without delay, you need to surrender all to Jesus, if you are a believer, you need to check your life and surrender all, no sin is too small to hold you down not to make the rapture, even if your big pastors do not oppose it, even if you have reasons to support yourself, even if everybody is doing it. Don't be fooled, don't be arrogant or defensive at this time, just surrender all to Jesus, because He is coming any moment from now. You must leave behind your sins, sinful partners, materials and gains so that you will not be left behind. You have a choice: leave all behind for Jesus now, let the people and world leave you behind or you are left behind at the rapture?

Matthew 25:13, ““Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

SHOULD CHRISTIANS REALLY CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS?
Christmas period is a time of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ everywhere in the world, but should we really celebrate Christmas at all?" I think this short article can be of little help, let's see:

OPPOSITIONS
There two major reasons people oppose celebrating Christmas as Christians. The first reason is that Christmas originated from pagan worship, and the second reason is that Jesus was not really born on December 25th.

(i) Origin: Should we celebrate what originated from pagan worship? Well, the point is that it was actually the holiday of Saturnalia that the pagans celebrated then, not Christmas. Christmas was a replacement of Saturnalia festival in Christendom; Christmas solely celebrates Christ Jesus, and it has no link or connection with idol festival as far as Christmas is concerned today. To oppose Christmas because the similar or same day was formally celebrated by pagans is wrong. If you oppose Christmas, then you will oppose Easter because both have similar history; if you oppose both Christmas and Easter, then you will need to oppose going to church on Sunday, because Sunday was a formal holiday for the god of Sun, and if you oppose worshiping on Sunday, then you must oppose calling days like Sunday, Monday, Saturday, etc. Because they all have idolatry origin. If you still believe the names are attached to idols, like Sunday for Sun god, and Monday for Moon god, and you don't worship God on Sunday, and you mention the idolatry names? Then you still agree with it.

Christmas was not celebrated for the first 300 years of early church, until the catholic, so also church building was not built by early Christians for 300 years until the catholic. Building church auditorium can also be traced to the pagan gods. Does that means building church auditorium is evil? No, but it must be moderate, not magnificent. The fact that Christmas was traced to pagan festival does not means it is wrong to celebrate Christmas. Today we celebrate Christ at Christmas and Him alone.

(ii) Day of Birth: Jesus was not born on December 25th, and it is not necessary for Christmas day. People can choose any day to celebrate Jesus' day of birth, because He owns all days; only we, the humans, can be tied to a day we were born for birthday. In fact we can celebrate birth of Jesus twice in a year.

MUST WE CELEBRATE?
Do we have to celebrate, sing and give gifts to mark the birth of Jesus? The answer is YES? Luke 2:13, "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Angels in heaven celebrated the birth of Jesus, so it is not wrong for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus, as long as Jesus alone is mentioned and no connection to any idol or selfish purpose. It is not wrong to celebrate Christmas as long Christ is the center of the celebration and everything you do glorifies His name; it is wrong for people who celebrate self or sinful indulgences during Christmas. Christians can celebrate Christ at Christmas and share with people.

THE BAD NEWS
The bad thing about Christmas is that it's not everyday; the joyful feeling, the celebration and sharing do not last, only for few days, and the worse is the Christmas day, it goes faster and ends. I wish it can always stay longer with such wonderful feeling. The worst is that if only during Christmas you experience the joy of the birth of Jesus, then you are a miserable person. Christmas celebration doesn't last, but the good news is that when you accept Jesus into your life as your Lord, you will always experience more than the joy of Christmas. If you have not experienced the joy of Salvation since you have been a Christian, then you are unrecognized by Jesus, you need genuine salvation to have the unlimited joy. If you have lost your joy of Salvation, you need to get it restored. Repentance, that is to realize and ready to forsake your sins, and accepting Jesus as your Lord, are the only means to have the unspeakable joy of Jesus! When you become saved, you begin life that pleases Jesus, not your self or Satan, you walk away from any form of sin; that is when the birth of Jesus will bring joy and justification. But if you realize Jesus as Savior of the world and remain in your sins, it will only bring judgment.

We can care for Christmas by celebrating Christ, but more than that, we should be celebrated by Christ through genuine salvation and living in holiness and righteousness, so that we can celebrate with Christ forever in heaven!

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND XMAS! (Please read)
Do you know that there is difference between Christmas and Xmas?

I see many Christians typing “Xmas” instead of Christmas, even on our page; many are ignorant of this and some are living outside of Christ.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ among Christians worldwide; as we celebrate Christmas, Christ is set as the priority and the center of the celebration, so it is more than secular or social celebration, but a Christian celebration with in-depth meaning in our relationship with God. That God love us so much that He sent His only begotten Son for us; that Jesus Christ was born for us, for our salvation, IMMANUEL! Christmas also signifies that the world is recognizing and calling Jesus the Christ, that the Messiah of the world; it is a witness to pass message to the world that Christ has been born and you are called to be born again in Christ.

But along the way, the devil was not happy as the word “Christmas” was circulating around the world everywhere even in the official, secular and social places, people calling Jesus Christ; and so people under the control of Satan moved to cancel Christ from Christmas, to remove Christ from the December 25th celebration, and you know when Christ is left from a celebration, when Christ is not glorified in whatever you are doing, it become idolatry.

So, in subtle and modern English, they cancelled Christ from Christmas and replaced it with Xmas. In English, X is another sign of cancelling, removing or wronging something. A symbol of approval may look like this √ or to mark something right but to cancel something, to disapprove something, you can use a symbol of X. This is the Xmas you have today, where Christ is removed and cancelled = Xmas. So where is the Christ in the Christmas we are celebrating today?

HISTORY
If you search the history of the word “Xmas” online, you will see different answers. They said that in Greek letters, X stands for “Chi” but since 'X' is not Chi in English, we read the word as X-mas and see no connection with Christ. In the United States, in 1977 New Hampshire Governor Meldrim Thomson sent out a press release saying that he wanted journalists to keep the 'Christ' in Christmas and not call it Xmas--which he called a 'pagan' spelling of Christmas. An American Evangelist and Missionary Franklin Graham told CNN journalist Roland Martin in an interview: "For us as Christians, this is one of the most holy of the holidays, the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. And for people to take Christ out of Christmas. They're happy to say merry Xmas. Let's just take Jesus out. – allafrica.com

CHRISTMAS
Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ into the world, and more than that, it is celebrating your birth in Christ, being born again, or how will you better celebrate Christmas without you being genuinely born again? That is useless! John 3:3

Christmas is remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and renewing our commitment to His service – living for Him and sharing the Good news to all men - evangelism! John 3:35, 36

Christmas is remembering the sacrificial giving of God, and practise the giving. “For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten Son” John 3:16. Giving is part and parcel of Christmas, sharing with others, no matter how small. You celebrating Christmas without sharing is an empty Christmas.

XMAS
Xmas is a manipulated type of celebration by the unsaved, though claimed to be Christians. It is a pagan way of calling Christmas, they are scared to called “Christ” or they show they reject Jesus as the Christ of their lives, or they see writing “Christmas” as too long and lonesome.

Xmas is celebrating on December 25th without genuine salvation in Christ.

Xmas is celebrating Christmas in a way that will not glorify Christ.

Xmas is celebrating Christmas without Christ as the center.

WHICH ONE DO YOU CELEBRATE?
With the clear differences listed above, you can clarify which type you have been celebrating or you are celebrating today. The genuine celebration of Christ begins the day you are genuinely born again, and on the Christmas, you make Christ the center of your celebrating, you do everything that will glorify Christ, you use the period to share the Good news of the birth of Christ.

THE MODERN PROSPERITY GOSPEL
Do you remember the story of Prophet Nathan's parable to King David in the Bible? About the rich man who had exceedingly many flocks and herds, but when he had a visitor, he went ahead to kill the only single young lamb of a very poor man. When David had about the story he was very angry and took a oath to punish the man. 2 Samuel 12:1-6. But if it were to be modern pastors of today, like Pastor Adeboye or Oyedepo and other prosperity or private jet pastors, it's not a bad thing at all, it's helping the man to sow seed for breakthrough.

The very rich man in that Bible's parable are the prosperity and private jet pastors of today, the poor man represents the majority of the members in the modern Christianity of today who are being mentally, religiously, physically and spiritually brainwashed, abused, exploited and manipulated.

How can you ask a family man to give all his first salary of the year as first fruit without caring for his bills and children's school fees? What Jesus or apostles never asked for.

And some of these members, knowing that their month's end salary belong to daddy G.O, will look for crooked and sinful means to steal, lie or take bribe to meet their needs for the month, and they will come back to church to give testimony and say, "Sir, the first-fruit seed works for me!"

It's only in modern Christianity that a rich man will ask the poor to give him more money. It's only in the modern Christianity that a very rich man called senior pastor or daddy G.O will boast of not wearing same T-shirt twice for the whole year and will still ask the poor to sell his T-shirt and use the money to sow seed for him. Only in the modern Christianity that a man will be riding and have several expensive and exotic cars and ask a man who has only a single car for himself and family to sell and sow it into his life as a vital land.

How It Works
How do you think these modern day pastors are successfully manipulating their members and making them to part away with their money just like that? Two un-biblical strategies: PERMISSIVENESS & FALSE HOPE!

Permissiveness
The prosperity, private jets ministers preach sweet messages, tell their members sweet words that soothe them, and then permit them to commit some sins and be worldly, and in return, the members freely give their money because their pastors are permissive. Have you seen any private jet or prosperity preacher who OFTEN preach about restitution, rapture, second coming of Jesus and against worldliness?

A prosperity pastor like Pastor Chris Oyakilome will say masturbation is not a sin, they will allow their members to wear tights and trousers, they will not rebuke or discipline worldly dress; prosperity preachers like Bishop Oyedepo will say restitution is not necessary after salvation, they may not preach against drinking beer, they will not, for a whole year, warn people about missing the rapture, preparing for the coming of Jesus. They will not clearly speak against bribing, changing figure, changing age to get job or falsifying documents to travel; they will not rebuke and discipline sex before marriage, they will not rebuke sin in your life.

(And when I speak, you say. " Why speaking against the fathers in the Lord" If such pastors are your fathers in the Lord, they you are a bastard in the Lord.)

For example, prosperity preacher may say, "Restitution is not a must but tithes and offering is a must." How does that sounds? It's sweet and sweat free. And since they permit people to make money in sinful and worldly way, to dress worldly, and no rebuke of sin and stress of restitution, they freely give to the sweet, permissive pastors.

FALSE HOPE
Prosperity preachers give their members false hope of heaven: that as long you confess your sin, pay your titles, come to church, be a faithful member of the mission, you are a child of God and heaven is sure; even if you continue committing the sin, continue dressing harlot, and working in sinful places and no evidence of new life in Jesus.

They give them false hope of prosperity: as long you pay tithes, things will not be tight for you, as long you give to them and sow seeds, you are good to go financially. Because of these false hope, these members find it easy to let go of their money to the prosperity preachers, continue in their sins and perish forever in eternal damnation.

My friend, enough of these permissiveness and false hope, these will take you to to nowhere, not even heaven. If your pastor is deceiving you, will you also deceive your soul? What will be your excuse for missing the rapture and going to hell when you have Bible to read and preaching of truth like this?

Repent, rededicate your life to Jesus and run away from these prosperity preachers. Rapture is IMMINENT!

PRAY OR BECOME A PREY!
"Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

Some years ago I discovered whenever I wanted to pray I would feel drowsy and sleepy; this also happened whenever I opened Bible to read. I took more time to sleep, but as soon as I start praying or reading Bible, my eyes would be heavy to sleep again; but if I'm talking on phone or doing something else, I would not feel sleepy. I would not be ignorant of Satan's devices, I knew it was satanic attack against my only spiritual survivals - prayer and Bible reading. So since then I pray against such drowsy and sleepy spirit; but I also watch out: whenever I start praying and I feel drowsy, I engage myself in physical exercise, jumping, running around in the room while praying.

Beloved, prayer is so important that Jesus Christ spent good time to pray so as to succeed while on earth; prayer is so important that you are either prayerful or you are a prey to Satan, period. It is absolutely impossible to survive in Christian race without constant and fervent prayer life. Prayer is not a special activity for special occasion but a daily activity, day and night. The truth is that, you cannot overcome besetting sins and daily temptations without serious prayer life, in fact you cannot make your way to heaven without a fervent and consistent prayer. Why? Because Satan is out there making prey of prayerless Christians. Without fervent and consistent prayer life, you will consistently rise and fall in your Christian life.

God expects every one to pray, since He is ready to listen to all; but the first prayer every one needs is prayer of repentance for genuine salvation. If you have not prayed into genuine salvation for new life in Jesus that lives above sin, then you are still proud to be a prey in Satan's hand and chained in his cage, not your body but your very dear soul. We sincerely repent and pray to Jesus to forgive and save us. After you are saved, you must pray without ceasing.

When Satan sees you are making progress in your walk with God, he will attack your prayer life, he will first bring distractions; distraction from outside, from people and things around, busy activities, phone calls while praying and others. If you yield once to such distraction, you are a prey to Satan. Distraction within, wondering thoughts, sleeping and so on, and if he succeeds, then you become his prey. You must do everything to keep yourself focused, do everything to keep yourself from falling asleep while praying or reading Bible, you must discipline your body, since Satan uses our body to distract us. Apostle Paul, after many years of Christian life and working for God, he still had to discipline his body, he said, "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection" 1 Corinthians 9:27. Your body will not want to serve God, it will not want to pray, read Bible or live holy life, but you must deliberately discipline your body and bring it into the subjection of God; don't allow your body to bring you into the subjection of Satan.

The only means from Satan's devices, from being his prey, the only means to walk constantly with God without falling and without failing from making heaven is to be serious and watchful in prayer life. "But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers." 1 Peter 4:7. Pray aright and pray always; pray mostly on your spiritual life, for grace and strength to overcome sin and self.

Devil cannot conquer you if you can conquer in prayer, you can't be his prey if you can prevail in prayer, and he cannot trap you if you can travail in prayer day and night. Never again allow Satan to discourage or distract you from praying, never stop praying day and night.

What does this means? When the Bible tells me, “I shall not die, but live” Why? What is the purpose for me to be living on earth? Why is God sparing my life why many are dying? Why am I still living and have not died? Why? You see, if you don’t discover the purpose of a privilege, it is definitely going to be misused, abused and lost. Our living on earth is by privilege, not a right, and we don’t discover its purpose, then it will be misused, abused and lost at the end?

DECLARING GOD’S WORKS
The works of redemption and salvation, the work of sanctification and Holy Spirit, the work of reconciliation and so on.

THE WORK OF SALVATION: Declaring God’s works starts by declaring our sins, forsaking them, then dedicating our lives to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, by diligently following Him and to be devoted to His work on earth. Salvation in Christ helps us to fulfill our numbers of years on earth. Psalm 38:18, “For I will declare my iniquity; I will be in anguish over my sin.”

THE WORK OF MINISTRATION: Declaring the works of God also involves preaching to sinners and ministering to the saints in different capacity. It may be by ministrations of pastoring, singing, drama, preaching, giving, praying, administrating, etc. When we are busy declaring the works of God, He will preserve us from premature dead because we are declaring His works. Here is the truth about this: When we are busy declaring the works of God, He will be busy destroying the works of Satan in our lives.

There are a lot of benefits in declaring the works of God, one of them is that it gives long full life and prevent premature death; we will not die prematurely so we can continue to declare the works of the Lord.

Psalm 30:9, ““What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?”

THE WORK OF PRAISING GOD: God delight in the praises of His people. As a child of God, when you develop strong habit of praising God, He will preserve you from premature dead from the enemies. Psalm 22:22, “I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.”

THE WORK OF TESTIMONIES: We can also declare the works of God by sharing or giving testimonies. God will always want to preserve the lives of His children who usually testify to the goodness and mercies of God for His glory. Isaiah 42:12 “Let them give glory to the LORD, And declare His praise in the coastlands.”

When we are declaring the works of the Lord by devoting our lives to Him, doing His work, praising His holy name and glorifying His name, no power or person can terminate our lives until we finish the works God appointed for us on earth.

On the other hand, those who refuse to declare the works of the Lord will suffer premature dead, loss of lives and eternity.

PITY 1 & 2

Pity Number 1
It's a pity that many wonderful brothers and vibrant sisters who were in Deeper Life Bible church or Apostolic Faith then but later joined Redeemed Church or other churches in Nigeria or abroad; they have completely forgotten their background of holiness and godliness. Many are now pastors in those worldly churches and have also become like them.

Now, the problem is not about leaving Deeper Life Bible Church or Apostolic Faith, but leaving your foundation of holiness and now your life and ministry is completely opposite of what you stood and preached against then. What a pity!

Pity Number 2
I remember the wonderful youth of those days in the good days of RCCG, Gospel Faith Mission, S.U, the C.A.C vibrant youth, the secondary school fellowship brethren who were saved and nurtured in the path of holiness and godliness. Many are not scattered in different churches and in different countries, but many have joined the false teachers of penterascal and prosperity, the end time illusion. What a pity!

WAY OUT OF THE BONDAGE OF MASTURBATION
I have received calls and messages for counsels and prayer on the issue of masturbation than many others, and Satan is using this on many youth and even older Christians, making them to remain stagnant in their spiritual growth and exposing them to evil forces.

You can't finish masturbate and you feel free in God's presence, your conscience will tell you something is wrong, that you are defiled. If you now feel no quilt in masturbating, it means you have silenced or killed your conscience, since the Spirit of God will not continue to strive with a man, but you know it wasn't like that at the initial.

Masturbation is satanic anchor by which he uses to grip souls under his bondage. The solution is not to argue it is not a sin, the solution is not marriage or attractive spouse, that will never solve problem of lust.

The solutions are:
(i) You repent and rededicate your life to Jesus by admitting it as a sin against God and ready to forsake all your sins, not only masturbation.

(ii) You watch out against it. You detach yourself from immoral materials, movies, music and thoughts. Resist the devil when he brings the pressure on you to masturbate; just hold the feeling and resist the devil, it will seems you can't survive or resist it when the temptation overwhelm you.

Behind masturbation is an immoral demon, I have been in such situation before, but he can't stay long, he will flee because your strength is in Jesus Christ, not your power, you should always remember that when it comes. It will come over you as if you can't resist it, but that is not true, you just hold it, don't touch, don't play along with the feeling, and don't think about. It is a sin and you don't want to bring yourself under the bondage anymore. The more you resist and overcome the feeling, the more you are strong, keep watching, it can go and come after some months, don't relax but guard to resist.

(iii) Pray about it. You must take it to God in your daily prayer to conquer the sinful notion and nature; pray for grace and strength to resist, to discipline your body and keep it under the Spirit of God.

What many Christians do not know is that new life in Jesus is a war between God and Satan, between flesh and Spirit of God, and your heart is the battle ground. You must see masturbation as war and ready to stand and subdue your flesh. It is applicable to all children of God, not you alone. Flesh will come, but don't let it overcome you again.

Apostle Paul, after many years of his salvation in Christ, he said, "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." 1 Corinthians 9:27.

We must continuously discipline our body - tongue, feelings, legs, hands, eyes, ears, etc. no matter how long you have been saved or how genuine your salvation is.

What many Christians do not understand is that after their souls are saved in Christ, the flesh is not saved. Your body is Satan's device to war against your saved soul, so you must discipline your body and subdue it to the Spirit of God by the Word of God, by watchfulness and daily prayer. This is the reason why many Christians fall back into sins, because they are ignorant of this, but we must not be ignorant of devices of Satan.

THE LAW OF SOWING AT SINGLE & REAPING IN MARRIAGE

When you were dating a married man, when you got into immoral relationship with married, you refused to repent and open up; you know what? God would not allow godly and faithful man to marry you, even if he comes your way, God would harden your heart to reject such. When you sow extra marital activities (EMA) into other people's marriage, be sure to have sexually transmitted diseases (STD) in your own marriage when it comes, because it's law of sowing and reaping under the sun, you must reap it fuller.

Solution!
Under the sun, there is a standing law of sowing and reaping, and sinners will never go unpunished, whichever way. But under the Son of God, Jesus Christ, there is room for forgiveness with Christ and His precious blood can wash away your sins and speak better things into your life than the law of sowing and reap.

How do you access the forgiveness and cleansing of Jesus? You must repent immediately, confess your sins, and ask Jesus Christ to save you. After you are saved or rededicate your life to Jesus, you must discontinue any sinful relationship even if it will cost you your job, you must open up to people that would help you spiritually. If you are married, you must confess everything to your spouse, and if you are single, by the time God brings the right man to you, you must confess to him and ask for his forgiveness. The same thing is applicable to men.

HOLD YOUR PEACE AND SEE THE TEMPTATION FADES AWAY
The undiscovered truth about sin is that behind every sin in life is a demon, satanic spirit that inspires people to that sin. Every persuasion and pressure to sin comes from these assigned demons; they use people, our feeling, minds and flesh to persuade us. The real image was made clear when Satan was tempting Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus was seeing Satan clearly because Jesus could see everything. We may not see Satan or his demons when they come to persuade us to sin, but we should do what Jesus did. When this pressure of the addicted sins or persuasion to sin come, it will be as if you cannot survive it, as if you cannot do without it, you know what? Just hold your peace and look beyond the people or the objects of the temptation and do as Jesus did: rebuke the demon behind in Jesus name. "Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan!" and the next thing, "Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him." Matthew 4:10, 11.

Don't bother yourself about the pressure within or without, Satan is behind them, pushing them to persuade you. You may feel as if you are so weak to resist, but don't fall anyway. Since you don't use your power, you use the Word of God and name of Jesus to resist Satan who is behind every sin. The pressure to sin, to have sex, to smoke, to lie, to masturbate, etc. will overwhelm your body and feeling as if you will die if you don't do it, it is not so; you just hold your peace with God's word and you will see the feeling going down. The demon of that sin cannot stay long, there is a particular minutes and period of time God permits Satan and his demons to tempt and pressurize us, and thereafter they fades away, if you hold it and resist in that period, and you will overcome. The temptation and pressure to sin can come few minutes and last for few months, it may be an overwhelming thought or pressure for lust of the flesh, notion for lust of the eyes, or temptation for pride and worldly cares.

Now, here is the truth, this pressure or temptation for the particular sin maybe coming every day, it may be apportioned for few months, and no matter how much you pray, the thought or pressure may not stop. What you need to be praying for daily is grace and the Blood of Jesus to purify your heart, and as long you don’t give in, it will soon fade away and you overcome. That is the truth about temptation and addicted sins. Some temptations must be endured for a period of time without giving in or yielding.

James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him"

"And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Joshua 3:5

God is eager to bless us, but most times, we block Him or disallow Him from blessing us. "How?" Yes, we pray for God's blessing, we plead for God's blessing different areas of our lives, but many time we do not put ourselves in place for the blessing.

There are some children of God here who are trusting God for marital partners, for God's intervention in their troubled marriages, for childbearing, for financial blessings, for healing, for promotion, for special anointing; but they have not put themselves together for the reality of the blessings.

Here is God's messages for some of our brethren here:The Lord is set to do wonders in your life, even now, in the area you have been waiting and praying on, but you need to sanctify yourself so that your life will not repel God's presence.

There are some things in your life, which you accommodated that are hindering the free move of God in your life, so the blessings are pending. These things may be some worldly activities you usually engaged in, like masturbation, worldly music, movies or magazines; it may be the worldly dress that have been hindering your prayer for godly partner. You cannot indulge in worldly dress and expect godly partner; you cannot indulge in worldly dress and expect God to transform your husband.

These self-hindrances to God's blessings may also be unsettled restitution, unfaithfulness to tithes and offerings, lack of love and cheerful giving to people in need - brethren and family members, it may also be your no time for evangelism - if you are a child of God and you don't have time for preaching the word of God, how do you want God to have time for you? You need husband, wife, and God needs you to win souls, will you mind? You need God's intervention in your marriage, business or job, and God wants you to use your phone, Facebook and time to share Gospel to people, will you be ready for the exchange?

Note that those things will not only hinder you from receiving God's desired blessings, but also hinder you from making heaven - double lost!

For you not to suffer double lost, for you not to live miserable on earth and miss heaven, God is asking you to sanctify your life, rededicate your life to Him, surrender all to Him, and "tomorrow" the Lord will do wonders among you.” Joshua 3:5

WRONG NOTIONS ABOUT RESTITUTION
So many Christians and pastors, especially these modern day pastors and lost ministers, do not have the biblical understanding of God’s command about restitution, they see it as unnecessary and they teach just that. They say when you are saved, God forgives your sins and that settle all without restitution. What that mean is that you can keep using what you stole before you were saved, you can keep covering the evil you did before you were saved, but the truth is that Christians who believe such will not want people to do so to them. They will not want their husband who left them with children for strange women to continue staying with the strange women after the husbands are saved; they will want the husbands to return. Pastors who say restitution is of no use will not want their wives to continue keeping secrets from them even after their wives are saved. Christians who disagree with restitution will not want the thieves who stole their only cars or life’s precious belongings to keep them after the thieves are saved; they will definitely want the thieves to return them, they might even be praying that God should touch their hearts

If a dubious person ganged against you and used his influence to claim your developing housing property which you have spent all your hard earned money to build, after the dubious person is saved, wouldn’t you expect him to come to you, at least to apologize?

Restitution is infallible truth of Christianity that cannot be biblically or humanly denied, it is soul depravity and self deception that make “so called” preachers to ignore or deny restitution after salvation. If you go to such people for counsel, they will counsel you wrongly and cancel your life. Such preachers can tell you to just forget about it since God has forgiven you, they may tell you to fast and forget about it, they may tell you to give special offerings, sow into their ministries and God will pardon you. But the truth is that there is no substitution for restitution expects to restitute.

DEFILING CLOTHING: TYPES OF DRESSES THAT LEAD TO HELL
"Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel." Zechariah 3:3

Devil devices several traps to defile Christians and disqualify them from making the rapture and heaven at last, and so many Christians are falling into these traps. One of the defiling traps is defiling dress by many acclaimed Christian women, including ministers.

Here Are Some defiling Garments Of The Devil In This End Time:
UNCOVERED
Any top that shows the trace of your cleavage as a woman maybe when you wear blouse, shirt, or top; it may be a local made or foreign made, it may be traditional style or western style; if the dress does not cover your chest properly, that is, if a little trace of your cleavage is shown when you bend down, it means you are gorgeously wearing defiling garment. You don't need to wear a turtledove top, but you must wear clothing that properly and perfectly cover your chest even when you bend down.

Majority of Christian women wear top that stylishly show their cleavage, because Satan has successfully polluted fashion world and the minds of the tailors so that about 90% of women's tops are defiled. Today, those dresses do not seem wrong again, because every Christian woman wears it, including pastors’ wives. But the question you should ask yourself is: why will you wear clothes that will show your cleavage as a woman? Is it because your cloth was not enough or it was not your size or you want to be fashionable or seductive? What is your motive? Showing your private part to the world is not only a sin but a serious defilement. Any top that cannot cover your chest properly if you bend down is a defiled clothes, and those who wear it are defiled, unknowingly.

TIGHT
Any dress you wear that is tight on you, either top or skirt, which shows the shape of your body is a defiling clothes. Showing the anatomy of your body is a modern way of giving people the idea of your unclothedness, and it is not part of holiness in Christ. Those who wear tight clothing are unwittingly entrapped by Satan. Many will later discover this after they die or after the rapture, but it will be too late. You need not to wear a baggy dress, but it must be free on you without any inconveniences, or conveying your body shape.

TRANSPARENT
Wearing a transparent cloth that shows what you wear under is not only sinful but naturally silly. The biblical and philosophic purpose of wearing clothes is to cover unclothedness, so if after you wear clothes, your body is still revealed, it is nothing but spiritual and moral indecency, and defilement to the soul. A Christian woman who wears clothes in a way that her underwear is revealed is not a good example of a godly and chaste woman.

SHORT
Wearing armless top, miniskirts or gowns which do not properly cover you kneels are defilement to your Spiritual life.

Urgent repentance is very important, and then to do away which such defiled dresses and clothing immediately. You may be a matured, or old Christian woman, you may be a minister or women leader; like Joshua, he was a leader but he unknowingly wearing filthy garment. This ministry has the mandate to reveal the truth as guided through the Word of God and the Spirit of God; it is your responsibility to accept or reject it, but I pray for everyone reading this that the Lord will open your spiritual eyes and give you understanding for the truth and to be fruitful there in.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS
In this era of increasing knowledge, there are several types of rules and keys for success, both biblical and non-biblical. And because we all desire success, we do not relent to seek for means to succeed. As anyone would seriously desire formula for success, Joshua was; he just succeeded Moses in the leadership of the nation Israel. He was assuming an awesome responsibility in taking command of two-and-half million people. If anyone needed a formula for success, Joshua did.

Here is divine formula and key for success given to Joshua: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8

What comfort and assurance it must have been as the Lord Himself spoke to Joshua and gave him the master key to success – meditating upon God’s Word. Joshua was to meditate upon the Word of God day and night, meaning at all the time, and he was promised good success by so doing.

The same formula is applicable and available for us today as we desire success spiritually, physically, financially, martially, etc. Our success in life is underneath the Word of God, and by searching deep into the Word of God, we discover our desired success. We are to read it, but not just reading; we are to meditate upon reading it by repeatedly and prayerfully thinking about it in order to gain a better understanding and apply it into our daily living. This is the key to success in Christ Jesus. Any success outside the Word of God only leads to sorrow. Read your Bible every day, reason with it every time and reason through it in every situation.

Psalm 119:9, “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.”

HOW TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD & GROW IN HIM
"There are unknowns that are known to be unknowns that are never known but are known to be unknown."

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.” Hebrews 6: 1-3

After you give your life to Jesus, you need to know about Him and grow in Him, and the only source is through the Word of God with prayer. If you don't grow in the Lord, you will go back to the world. The following steps will help you to grow in the Lord:

READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY - At least 2 chapter. Don't just swallow everything they preach in your church without you searching and confirming in the Bible, don’t depend on what any one teaches you alone, but let the Holy Spirit Himself teach you further and deeper from the Bible.

Acts 17:11“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

MEDITATE ON THE BIBLE YOU READ - Don't just read the Bible and go your way, but you need to take time to meditate on what you read. It is by waiting on the Lord after reading through meditation, that you get the meaning for what you read. If you just read and rush out, you will not really understand and you will not be fruit.

PRAY THE WORD INTO YOUR LIFE – Take time to pray on the Word of God you read. Prayer after reading Bible is like taking water after eating; to water the seed of the Word. You wonder why the Word is not really fruitful in your life as desired? Maybe no enough watering by prayer. When the Psalmist talked about “tree planted by the rivers of water”, the water is prayer that helps the seed of the Word to be fruitful.
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

APPLY WHAT YOU READ INTO YOUR LIFE – Be diligent to apply the Word of God into your life in your daily activities: how you talk, how you react to people and situation; how you behave, how you do your daily business, how you dress, what you watch, music you listen to; let the Word of God guide you in everything you do. This is really the subject matter, this is the purpose of reading Bible, meditating and praying - apply it into your life and be fruitful.

James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

May we be fruitful and be blessed in the Lord as we grow in Him everyday!
