HOW TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD & GROW IN HIM

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.” Hebrews 6: 1-3

After you give your life to Jesus, you need to know about Him and grow in Him, and the only source is through the Word of God with prayer. If you don't grow in the Lord, you will go back to the world. The following steps will help you to grow in the Lord:

READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY - At least 2 chapter. Don't just swallow everything they preach in your church without you searching and confirming in the Bible, don’t depend on what any one teaches you alone, but let the Holy Spirit Himself teach you further and deeper from the Bible.

Acts 17:11“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

MEDITATE ON THE BIBLE YOU READ - Don't just read the Bible and go your way, but you need to take time to meditate on what you read. It is by waiting on the Lord after reading through meditation, that you get the meaning for what you read. If you just read and rush out, you will not really understand and you will not be fruit.

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

PRAY THE WORD INTO YOUR LIFE – Take time to pray on the Word of God you read. Prayer after reading Bible is like taking water after eating; to water the seed of the Word. You wonder why the Word is not really fruitful in your life as desired? Maybe no enough watering by prayer. When the Psalmist talked about “tree planted by the rivers of water”, the water is prayer that helps the seed of the Word to be fruitful.
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

APPLY WHAT YOU READ INTO YOUR LIFE – Be diligent to apply the Word of God into your life in your daily activities: how you talk, how you react to people and situation; how you behave, how you do your daily business, how you dress, what you watch, music you listen to; let the Word of God guide you in everything you do. This is really the subject matter, this is the purpose of reading Bible, meditating and praying - apply it into your life and be fruitful.

James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

May we be fruitful and be blessed in the Lord as we grow in Him everyday!

HOW TO BE SAVED AND START A NEW LIFE IN JESUS!

Dear reader, it’s by God’s mercy to exist to this time, Satan’s plan for us is to die in sin and doom forever in hell fire. Without genuine salvation, there is no way we can escape the judgment of God, so count it as a great privilege to have this opportunity, and so you need to make the best use of it for your salvation and new life in Jesus.

How can you have genuine salvation that will guarantee eternal life with Jesus and grant you the grace to overcome sin, Satan and self? Please follow the following steps:

No Excuse, but admit it.
If truly you need God’s mercy to pardon your sins and give you grace to overcome them, then you need to face it by yourself and acknowledge your sin. Don’t excuse sin because everybody is doing it - in your church (even your pastors, parents or partners), in your family, in your place of work, etc. Don’t says, “Does that means everybody doing it will go to hell fire?” Yes, everybody can go to hell and God will still be righteous. Jesus said instead of you to be thinking how many will be saved, YOU strife to be saved NOW. Don’t excuse sin because of its popularity, it’s in person - you, face it. And sin is sin, either small or great, there is no difference, you just be sincere and confess it.

Psalm 51:3
For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight

Make a Genuine Confession
Do you wonder why you’ve made several confessions of your sins and yet you still have guilt of those sins, you still go back into such sins, and your salvation is not certain or you find yourself going back into your sins? It’s simple: you didn’t make genuine confession. Genuine confession is not just using the name of Jesus, not answering alter call and so on. Take the next 2 steps that lead you to genuine salvation in Jesus Christ:

First Repent before You confess.
There are many fake confessions, but if you sincerely want to make acceptable confession, you must first repent. No need for you to confess if there is no repentance in you. Repentance is thoughtful realization of your sins and determination to forsake them. If you confess without readiness to forsake the sins you confess, you are simply wasting your time, and the sins will soon get you down. To repent is not to be sorry for your sins, if you are sorry without readiness to forsake all, you will have a sorry case and that is not a genuine salvation. Humble yourself before God now and surrender all.

Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Pray It All
Now all you need to do is to go before in prayer as you confess your sins and ask God to forgive you through His Son Jesus Christ. Tell Him you are sorry for how you have lived and all you have done, ask Him to cleanse you by the Blood of Jesus and give you a new heart and a new spirit. He will do it as He has promised in His Word saying, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8-9.

Now is the time for your salvation! Do not delay further, do it now, don’t allow Satan to distract or delay you, because another chance may not come. You can pray the prayer for the next 5 to 10 minutes.

Have you prayed the prayer for your salvation? Then let me pray with you:

“Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for our sins, thank You for coming to seek us and counting us worthy to be saved. You promised that if we come to You, You will not cast us away; that if we admit and confess our sins, no mater how many and how terrible, You will forgive and cleanse us. So I pray for this beloved, as s/he has repented, confessed and asked for Your forgiveness, save her/him and give her/him a new nature of Yours to live for You from today. Thank You Lord because You have answered, for we prayed in Jesus name. Amen.”

Now You Are saved!
Now, you are saved, you are born again with a new life by Jesus Christ. You need to start the new life guided by God’s Word. You have to disassociate and detach yourself from old lifestyle; old things that are not according to God’s Word and friendship that can pull you back to old life in sin. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” You can’t continue in your old lifestyle anymore, you are now a genuine, heaven recognized child of God and your life must be guided by His Word. You need to be reading Bible every day and praying about your new life. You should be reading at least 2 chapters of Bible everyday and take time to pray for your spiritual growth and daily strength; you can start from Matthew chapter 1. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding before you read and pray after you finish reading. Pray for God’s grace and Spirit to live daily according to His word and to overcome every temptation on your way, and be watchful every time at every situation in your new life in Jesus!

As you have now started a new life in Christ Jesus, heaven is rejoicing over you as your name is written in the Book of Life. Look only unto Jesus, not any man or any pastor. There are many false teachings everywhere because we are in end time, so let the Bible be your supreme guide!

AND WHO IS A HARLOT?
Genesis 34:31, "But they said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?”

We tend to term or tag a harlot or prostitute to a woman who usually has sex with different men for money. But the reality is that, being a prostitute is far more than being a street or hotel sex worker. From the light of the Word of God, in the sight of God, a woman can be a prostitute or harlot without being a regular sex worker or without having sex for money; a woman can be a confirmed Prostitute and still looks and behaves decent, and still be a serious or zealous Christian woman, she can even be a minister or a minister's wife. It is a limited and inadequate insight and knowledge of people that see only women standing beside the road or hotel as prostitutes.

There are different types of harlots or prostitutes, and they are of different levels, but before God, all are seen as harlots. Let's see some other types of harlots apart from the regular sex workers:

(1) HARLOT BY GARMENT
Genesis 38:15, "When Judah saw her, he thought she was a harlot"

You can be registered as a harlot in heaven simply by the way you dress. You don't need to become an active sex worker, you don't need to commit a single sexual immorality with a man before Heaven can recognize you as a prostitute; in fact you be a virgin but still a heavenly recognized harlot. How does that happens? It happens simply by what you wear and how you wear what you wear. If you wear low-cut dress or low necklines including ball gowns that exposes your cleavage, meaning, that shows the upper part, little trace of your breasts when you bend down, you are a harlot. You don't need to be half naked before you become harlot by garment, but as long you wear any clothing that reveals your cleavage a little, you are a harlot.

Also if you wear tight clothes that shows the anatomy of your body to the world as to show your shape, you are a harlot; if you wear transparent or perforated clothing that shows your inner-wears, you are a harlot; if you wear any dress which does not covers your arms or your kneels, you are a harlot.

You can be a pastor, a minister, deaconess; you can speak in tongues of angels, you can sing like angels, whoever you are or claim to be does not matter, but to God, you are a decent harlot. If this is too hard for you to take, you can wait until you get to the gate of heaven, only that will be too late, and I will not advise you to wait that too late. There will be surprise on the rapture day and in heaven, when our identities are declared to us, and we may say, "Lord, I am not a harlot, and never be one"

As a Christian woman, what will be your reason before God for wearing clothing that exposes your cleavage? How will you defend your motive of wearing tight, transparent, perforated and short dress?

(2) HARLOT BY GETTING
Genesis 38:21, "Then he asked the men of that place, saying, “Where is the harlot who was openly by the roadside?” And they said, “There was no harlot in this place.”

A harlot is a woman who gives sex to a man in order to get something back; so if you, as a woman, give sex to get a job, you are registered harlot in heavens, even if it is once. If you, as a woman, allow a man to sleep with you because of promotion at work, because you want to retain your job, because you want to get contract, because of your schooling, because of favor- you are a heavenly recognized prostitute. Prostitution is giving sex in exchange for something, it doesn't matter if it is money or not, and it doesn't matter if it is just once or forever.

Here is the is the terrifying truth: Whatever you have gotten by allowing men to sleep with you - even if those things were supposed to be your right, but as long as you allowed man to sleep before you got it through, you are a harlot - the job, certificate, etc are dividends of your harlotry, and the salary, profit, whatever you are getting as a result are wages of a harlot. The most terrific matter here is that, if you are giving tithes, offerings from the wages you got through harlotry, you are only waging serious judgment of God against your life and eternity, because God warned that no wages of harlotry should be brought into His house.

Here is the word of God in Deuteronomy 23:18, "You shall not bring the wages of a harlot or the price of a dog to the house of the Lord your God for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to the Lord your God."

Your pastor can collect your tithes and offerings, your prosperity pastors can say anybody can bring tithes, but you are only doing yourself havoc if you are in such category. To have the mercies of God, you need to repent, open up and confess, then do necessary restitution.

(3) HARLOT BY GIVING
Genesis 34:31, "But they said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?”

If you are in marital relationship, and you commit premarital sex, in a way of giving your love or promise to the man, you are a harlot. Premarital sex in a marital relationship is only an act of harlotry. In the book of Genesis 34, a man called Shechem loved Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he slept with her, even though he had not married her; when her brothers heard it, they were angry and said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?” Only a prostitute will be sleeping with a man before marriage, that is what the brothers meant.

If a man is asking a woman for premarital sex in a relationship, he is only addressing the woman as a prostitute, taking her to be a prostitute; and if a woman is allowing a man to sleep with her in a marital relationship, she is only presenting herself to be a harlot. So the same man who has been sleeping with her can think and decide tomorrow that he doesn't want to marry her again, and why? "She is a harlot" But you are the same man who has been sleeping with her. The man answers, "Yes, I know, but I am not her husband yet, it only proves she is a harlot."

If you had premarital sex before you got married, and you covered it up, you need to repent NOW and realize your sin. Then you will need to confess to the necessary people: your parents, your pastors, including the pastor who joined you together. If you think it is a past matter and no need to confess to the necessary people, you are only embalming your past sin, and enlisting yourself as a harlot in hell.

Take or give, a woman who has extra-marital sex is also a harlot, even if it was once or it was in past; until she confesses to her husband, she is still a prostitute in God's eyes. But as long as such a woman has repented and confessed to her husband, she is as clean as a virgin before God, because when we repent and confess, God is always faithful to forgive and cleanse us, and never remember again our sins as long as don't go back.

AND WHAT ABOUT MEN?
So, what about men who have who ask or commit premarital sex or extra-marital sex, are they also harlots or what should we call them? The same thing is applicable to men, a man who commit premarital sex is a fornicator and a man who commits extra-marital sex is an adulterer. The solution to settle the matter is not a matter of saying, "I don't do it again and I have asked to forgive me" Such a man will need to repent, confess to God and to his wife, to one another as the case may be. If you, as man, has asked a woman for premarital or extra-marital sex, after you have repented, you will need to apologize to the woman for the "evil asking"

Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."

This message is not meant to condemn us, but it is to correct us so that we will not be condemned with the world at the end. Let us make the necessary amendment.

1 Corinthians 11:31, 32, "For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world."

YOU NEED TO KNOW THESE REALITIES
Genuine prosperity does not come by praying or preaching more about prosperity, you can check those prosperity pastors and their members, who focus more on prosperity, they tell lies, cheat, bribe to get contracts, they change their age and personal information to get job, they bribe and commit sexual immorality to get job, promotion, and some even join occult group to get wealth in their businesses, careers or profession. And these people still claim God’s prosperity and they share testimonies.

Genuine deliverance and victory over evil forces does not come by continuous or daily prayer against enemies or by prayer of “fall down and die” or by focusing on such prayer, you can check those who are in such ministry or system, they are never delivered, they are never free from enemies, the more they pray such prayer, the more they are afraid of evil forces, some of their men cannot even go to barber shop for haircut, they are afraid lest the barber use their hair for rituals; they can pray and fast for 100 days, but they are never free, they never stop praying to be free, they never believed they are free, and they never re-direct their prayer and preaching on heavenly things.

Don’t be among the ignorant in this end time, don’t be among the foolish virgins; be wise and be warned.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

SATAN'S MEETING AGAINST GOD
(Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church." "We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth." "We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Savior." "Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, but steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ." "This is what I want you to do", said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!" "How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.
"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children." "As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice." "Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." "To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly." "This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers." "Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day." "Invade their driving moments with billboards." "Flood their mail boxes with junk mail, mail order catalogues, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives." "Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night." "Give them headaches too!" "If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere." "That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas." "Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive." "Have them return from their recreation exhausted." "Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation." "Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead." "Keep them busy, busy, and busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus." "Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause." "It will work!" "It will work!"

It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there. Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful at his scheme?

You be the judge! Does "busy" mean:

U-nder
S-atan's
Y-oke?

"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings .And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. - I Peter 5:8-1.

If you are too busy for daily prayer time and Bible reading, then you are under the end time yoke of Satan. If you now are too busy to to have time for evangelism, visiting and calling the brethren and family members, then you have been carried away with the cares of this life. If your life is busy with the cares, longing, desires, activities of this world, then you are among the deceived. If your heart is busy with business, buyings, beauty, building project, bank account, etc, it may be too late after the rapture.

If you love football or any sports, or anything in this world, then you will have problem with your love for Jesus. The Bible commands us to love God and fellow human beings, and only "like" things; but if you love anything of this world, that is have passion for something, be it sport, cars, cares of this life, you cannot love God at the same time.

Rededicate your life to Jesus Christ, refocus your priority, purpose of living, pursuit, prayers, and preaching on heaven and preparation for His coming. Care less about the passing things of this life, and you will not be among the foolish Christians.
"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved" Matthew 24:12, 13

"...and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful." Matthew 13:22.
" Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

Both Saul and David were anointed by God as kings of Israel, both of them conquered several battles, and both of them committed sins. But the difference is that, Saul was more concerned about his personal ego than his personal relationship with God while David was primarily concerned about his relationship with God than his personal ego. King Saul regarded the respect of people mostly, but King David regarded his reconciliation with God more than anything else.

When King Saul committed a sin and God sent Prophet Samuel to rebuke him, king Saul realized he had sin but he was not ready to let go of his ego. "Then he (Saul) said, “I have sinned; yet honor me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord your God.” 1 Samuel 15:30. But when David sinned and God sent Prophet Nathan to rebuke him, he humbled himself before God and man, and so he was pardoned. "So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” 2 Samuel 12:13.

Some people do say that David committed sins but God forgave him because he knew how to praise God very well. That is a serious error and un-biblical conclusion. Such conclusion can mislead people, and it's misleading many people. Sacrifice of praise to God cannot cover your sins, in fact David himself said that any sacrifice in sin is useless to God.

"For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise......Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar." Psalm 51:16, 17, 19.

David received the mercies of God because he confessed and forsook his sins. Saul confessed his sin of wickedness at different times when he was pursuing David, but he did not stop pursuing David. 1 Samuel 24:17, 21; 26:2,3, 21; 27:27:1. But David confessed his sin of adultery and murder, and he never continued in the sins again. Have you read it anywhere in the Bible that David committed adultery after he had confessed to God? Never! Praise and worship does not cover sin as many preachers are saying today, thanksgiving and sacrificial giving cannot get you the mercies of God as many modern preachers are claiming today. The only two things that guarantee God's mercies are confession of sin and forsaking the sin, that is to discontinue in the sin. Proverbs 28:13, "He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."

Do you need the mercy of God like David? Do you want to be a precious child of God, a peculiar servant of God as David was? All you need is to humble yourself, open up, confess and discontinue in such sin.

I have been seen several posts about the visit of Pastor Kumuyi to Aso villa, but not only going to the villa, but seeing his pictures talking and even laughing with President Buhari, and this is getting people angry. How would a whole Pastor Kumuyi, laughing with Buhari? What on earth could have caused such or what were they talking about to have warranted such serious laughing?

Well, we are in the end time and many funny things are happening, you know? But here are my points:

HIS VISIT
Is it wrong for Pastor Kumuyi to have gone to visit the president who is not performing well, who is a muslim, who appoints more muslims, whose administration witness lots of killings of Christians and so on? All these do not make it wrong for pastor kumuyi to visit him. Does Bible teaches us to run away from bad people, if at all? Does light runs away from darkness? No! If people like Pastor Kumuyi do not go to visit the President, who do we expect to visit? The prosperity preachers? Or we should leave out Aso villa for darkness?

OH HE EVEN LAUGHED
Why would Pastor Kumuyi laugh with Buhari? Well, before I left Deeper Life Bible Church, they did not teach me it's wrong to laugh with unbelievers, and Bible does not condemn laughing either. You don't need to be weeping before you preach to unbelievers. You can laugh and effectively preach and pass the right message. Now, did you see pictures where he prayed with Buhari or they are intentionally spreading the laughing pictures to use the figure of Pastor Kumuyi to campaign or convince people?

HE BETTER VISIT
If there is anyone that needs to visit President Buhari now, it's Pastor Kumuyi. This is the man who does not collect money from politicians nor campaign for them; a man who has no property of his own nor for his children, and you expect me to condemn him for laughing with Buhari? Even his laughter alone is enough to inspire salvation message to Buhari. So, I pray Pastor Kumuyi should visit Buhari more with more laughter as Buhari will one day burst into cry for salvation.

My conclusion!
I'm longer a member of Deeper Life Bible Church, I have preached on the social media on things wrong in that church and I will still keep preaching. But does that means Pastor Kumuyi is no longer a genuine minister and anointed man of God? Does that mean he was wrong to have visited or laughed with Buhari? My answers are NO and NO!

HEAVENLY VISION
…. I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. Acts 26:19

Heavenly vision is very important for every Christian, minister and church as a whole. A Christian without heavenly vision will belong among the common Christians, a Christian minister without heavenly vision will remain a carnal minister, and a church without heavenly vision is a worldly and lukewarm church. And the worst is when a Christian or church loses heavenly vision, it become worse than never having it.

WHAT HEAVENLY VISION IS ALL ABOUT!
When we have heavenly vision, we will want to do everything to enter heaven and to bring others to heaven; when we have heavenly vision, the things of this worldly will be dim to us and things of heaven dearly to us; we will not be encumbered by the cares of this world. When we have heavenly vision like the earthly Christians, we will go extra miles for the kingdom of God and we will not have the mind of pursuing earthly things.

The beginning of revival in a Christian life and in a church is to have heavenly vision, because without that Christians will remain lukewarm, worldly and spiritually frivolous.

What is this heavenly vision is all about? Heavenly vision is when you come to the point of understanding and realizing that making heaven and helping others to make heaven is the paramount purpose of your living on earth, that every other thing apart from working towards making heaven and winning souls to heaven amounts to little or nothing, that it is the most urgent matter that needs the greatest attention on a daily basis. When you grab this heaven vision, your perspective of life will change, your reasoning will not remain the same, your Christian life will turn around, your life view will be of eternity not on this temporal care, your prayer points will be different from what it used to be, it will center on your Christian growth and winning souls, your ministry will turn different and your message will be heavenly focused.

DO YOU KNOW WHY? ………
Do you know why many Christians are worldly and lukewarm? It is simply because they don’t have heavenly vision. There is nothing as terrible and dangerous in life as being a Christian without heavenly vision.

Do you know why you compromise the word of God, and care for things of this life than heaven? It is because you lack or you’ve lost heavenly vision.

Do you know why you pray more on prosperity than purity of life? It is simply because you lack heavenly vision in your Christian life.

Do you know why you involve in worldly dress and stuffs and it seems impossible for you to part away with such things? It is simply because you don’t have heavenly vision yet.

Do you know why your priority of life is about getting money, having more possessions of life, getting position or popularity in life? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision.

Do you know why you pray more against enemies in your life than you pray against sinful nature in your life? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision.

Do you know why you pray against the witches and wizards in your family to die than you pray for sinners in your family to be saved? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision. You don’t need to speak in tongue before you know Christians void of heavenly vision, it is very obvious.

DO YOU KNOW WHY MANY CHRISTIAN MINISTERS……
Do you know why many Christian ministers preach more on prosperity of life than purity of life, why they preach more on goodness of life than godliness of life, why they preach more about temporal blessings of this life than eternal blessings of life to come or you wander why on the other hand some preach more on overcoming problems of life than overcoming temptations and persecutions of life or why they put witches and wizards In their lives to death than they put sinful old natures in their lives to death? It is simply because such Christian ministers do not have heavenly vision.

Do you know the reason why most of the preachers today do more of prophetic declarations than repentance declaration? It is simply because they lack or have lost heavenly vision. You know what Paul said? He said, “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.” Acts 26:19, 20.

After Paul got the heavenly vision, he was going different places and making declaration, not prosperity declaration, not prophetic declaration as they do today, but declaration of repentance, of turning to God and of doing work of righteousness and holiness. It’s the heavenly vision that makes the difference. But these pastors, evangelists, daddy GOs, papas, bishops in America , Europe, Asia or Africa who are busy preaching, publishing and making declarations of prosperity, success and sweet things, and asking you to type “amen” on their Facebook posts, it is because their lives and ministries are void of heavenly vision.

We cannot deceive ourselves. Our priority of life is determined by the vision we carry in our hearts; if it is heavenly vision, automatically we will live, pray and preach more on heaven, and if it is earthly vision, we will live, pray and preach more on earthly things, that exactly is what we are seeing among Christians and pastors today. Where your treasure is determines the priority and purpose of your living.

GETTING IT RIGHT!
Before you can get to heaven, you must get it right on earth. And to get it right, you need to start with the right steps, and repentance from sins and worldliness is the right step to start with. JESUS CAME TO SAVE YOU!

PREMARITAL & MARITAL UNFAITHFULNESS.....Please read this!
As a single lady, if a man you are in relationship with is demanding per-marital sex from you, the truth is that he will ask another woman for extra-marital sex after he marries you. What makes him to ask for premarital sex from you is what will make him to ask extra-marital sex from another woman after marriage: Lack of self control. It's the same sin of sexual immorality, but the only difference is:

When you allow premarital sex with your partner during courtship, you don't feel cheated, disappointed, or heart broken as Jesus feels, but when your husband does extra-marital sex, you will feel the same disappointment, brokenhearted and cheating that Jesus feels.

THE PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS
(1) If a single man has problem with uncontrollable passion which is called lust, uncontrolled sexual huge, the solution is not premarital sex, it is not even marriage, because marriage cannot solve the problem of lust, and marriage does not produce self-control. The solution is to surrender to Jesus genuinely and bring forth the fruit of the Spirit called Self-control by total dedication to God in His Word, His will and prayer for God's grace. Self-control comes by God's grace after genuine salvation, not by marriage or premarital sex.

".....gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." Galatians 5:23.

As a single sister in the Lord, if a man is not ready to surrender to Jesus and to live in purity with you, to keep yourselves till marriage, such man is not God's will for your life or he has lost his way. You cannot be happily married with immoral man who will cheat on Jesus and on you at the end. It is better to let go and let God, than to hold on and get burned.

(2) If you are a married or you are a single woman, and your man is asking you to wear body exposing clothing, immoral dress; the issue is because the man has problem with lust and he thinks seeing you half naked in public can solve that problem, NO. The solution is Salvation in Jesus and grace of God for self control. (But you can wear anything in your room to attract your husband alone in your apartment without another man seeing such.)

(3) If you have committed premarital sex, that is, fornication, before marriage, all you need to do is to confess to God, and ask Him to forgive you, then you confess to your pastor, spiritual leaders, to your Christian partners, and to your parents. If you are already married, you will still need to confess to your church and the church that joined you together without the knowledge of the fornication. If you are not yet married, and the man or woman you are in relationship with is not ready for repentance, purity and to open up, it means the person is not a child of God or he is a backslider or a fake Christian.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
"For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit."

SECRET OF DELIVERANCE
If we should ask, why do we have children of God who are still under the bondage of satanic attack? The simple answer is because such believers lack understanding. Many children of God pray, fast, go to mountain, go for deliverance, yet still under the torment of Satan; many exercise strong faith, yet nothing happens. All these happen as a result of ignorance. Deliverance from sickness or satanic attack does not come through faith in your prayer, through faith in a man or woman of God or through faith in a particular church or mountain. Deliverance from sickness and satanic attacks comes only through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is not the prayer you pray that will put God’s power in action, it is not a man of God that will put God’s power in action, but it is name of Jesus Christ that put God’s power into action. Here is the word of God:

“Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God” Acts 3:6-8

After the healing of the cripple man, so many people rallied round Peter and John, seeing them as super human being or super holy men, or extraordinary men; but Peter quickly cleared the air and told them the secret of God's power in action, the secret of real deliverance, " So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? Acts 3:12.

Deliverance does not come by calling God of Babalola, God of Adeboye, and so on, by calling such, you are putting part of your faith in such men. Even Apostle Peter said it was not by his own power.

Deliverance or God's power does not come by faith in our prayer or in our work of godliness even though we are living godly.

What is the secret of deliverance? What is the secret of manifestation of God's power? Here is what Peter said, "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." Acts 3:16

Two Things:
1, The name of Jesus Christ.
2, Faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

You can call the name of Jesus Christ without having faith in His name, but you cannot have faith in His name without calling on His name. Many times we call on or scream the name of Jesus Christ out of fear not out of faith, that is the reason no deliverance follows.

How do we know if we have faith in the name of Jesus Christ when we pray? Or how do we know that Peter actually had faith in the name of Jesus that he called? Simple, it's by action that follows after calling the name of Jesus Christ.

Let's look at Peter for example, what did he do after he called on the name of Jesus Christ when he prayed for the cripple man? He took a step of faith, action that goes in line with his faith. "And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength." Acts 3:7.

What if Peter had fear that if lift him by hand and at last he didn't walk? Peter could be afraid and said, "So that means I will be the one to be holding him about for life, since I'm the one who find trouble."

You know what? Goya olive oil called anointing oil can't help you, mantle, holy water, candle,sowing seed, marathon fasting and prayer, mountains, special men of God with special anointing can't deliver you; what you need is the name of Jesus Christ and faith in the name. But before you can use the two you must first be saved from your sins through the same name; by total repentance and forsaking your sins. Yes, Peter told them too, he said, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19.

Before you can be delivered from the bondage of curses, witches and wizards, enemies, evil forces and Satan, you must first be delivered from sin. Today is the day of your salvation.

HOW TO SECURE AND SUSTAIN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Psalm 15:
LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
2 He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the LORD;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved

1. SURRENDER ALL TO JESUS CHRIST. To experience the abiding presence of God is not mostly by fasting and prayer, but by total surrender to Jesus Christ. You cannot continue in your sin and experience the awesome presence of God.

You need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ afresh in holiness and righteousness. You repent, confess and forsake your sin. Make all your ways right, settle necessary restitution and allow Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Do not allow Satan and Sin to dictate your life this year.

2. SEEK HIM DAILY. You want to secure and sustain God’s presence in your life? You need to seek God first thing first daily. Seek His word daily in your daily devotion. Spend time with God daily in Bible reading and prayer. You must endure to finish reading Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Meditate daily in the Word of God. The Lord revealed to me that those who seek Him more in Bible reading and meditation will experience divine leading and guidance of God than never before. What we need more is not more of fasting (though we need to fast often) but more of meditation of God’s word and applying it into our daily living.

Do not be stupid to miss your daily devotion for a day no matter how busy you may become. There is no excuse for being foolish or being consciously stupid, because only the fool will allow whatever to hinder them from having personal refreshing and renewing time with God.

3. SERVE GOD THAN NEVER BEFORE. There is no idle time in the kingdom, every genuine child of God must be occupied in serving God at every time, everywhere and with whatever God blesses you with. If there is anytime we are closer to the Rapture, it is now, and if there is any time of urgency to preach the Gospel to all, it is now. Preach the Word of God at all time, you cannot overdo it. Share the Word of God with believers for edification. Preach and share God’s word on phone, on Facebook, online, on board, in your workplace, in your school, to your family, friends, strangers, TO ALL.

4. SHARE YOUR TIME AND RESOURCES. Intercede for both sinners and the saved. We need one another intercession than never before. As we share God’s word, we must also share love with one another, which is part of serving God. Share from the little you have and seek for brethren in need and do not hesitate to share and assist. The doors of outpouring blessing of God will be shut against those we are selfish and stinging. God needs your tithes and offering and also giving to brethren, friends and even strangers need your sharing.

As we surrender all to Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our lives, and as we seek Him daily without interruption and serve Him with all our mind and strength, great will our joy and rejoicing this year in Jesus name!

Psalm 16:11, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

[Have you seen any church where they believe in fall down and die, where they are more conscious of enemies than friends, where they are more concerned about demons than angels, where they have more fear in Satan than faith in God, have you ever seen anyone of them stopped praying fall down and die or deliverance prayer? Have you ever seen a single Christian who attends such church and stop praying deliverance prayer? And you? you have been praying and fasting for deliverance, but have you been delivered now and stopped such prayer?]

That is an exaggeration. How many of them told you their problems persisted despite their fastings and prayers?

You don't have to tell grown up men or women to stop praying the same prayer points when there is no answer.
It is just like an unbelievers asking you why you pray every time because God should have answered you the first time you prayed to him. There are so many things to pray for and against on a daily basis.
Jesus our Lord and God told us this :

Luke 18:1 KJV
And he spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 KJV
Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing.[/quote]

CAR PAINT
If you buy a brand new car of your choice of color and brand, but after driving out of the showroom, you see another car of different brighter color, so you change your mind of the choice of color, drive the new car with machine factory paint to roadside car painters; they sandpaper and wash away the original factory paint, and manually spray a brighter paint on the car. You what? In such situation, the car has already lost about 30% of its market value.

The exact or worst situation is with all women and men who, because of covetousness of a light or lighter skin and lack of contentment of their original God’s given skin, bleach their skin, or “tone a bit” as the language is, or lighten a bit, or whiten. Such people have already lost 30% of their originality.

I have been in skincare industry for some years, and I see that so many people, especially women, want to have light skin and those who have light skin want to have lighter. The word “bleaching” is no more used, but now it’s something like “lighten” or “tone” or “whiten”. Whichever name you call it, it’s still same sinful and satanic act of bleaching, which is applying toxic chemical products to remove or “sandpaper” the first and second layers of your skin, and thereby look lighter. Such people immediately lose 30% of their originality, they value lesser and vulnerable more.

Such people are tied to such specific lightening products, they can’t use any cream, and you know what? Such people are less than normal human being, they can’t qualify for God’s work in mission field where bleaching creams are not sold or such situation. Such people can never live longer as supposed because recent research show links between lightening chemicals and cancers and even kidney problems among others. Aside different side effects such as green veils, dark knuckles, stretch marks, uneven skin, “Fanta face and coke leg”

Some users of such lighten products claim the products are natural or the lighten skin they are having is natural. Such is a human and satanic deception. There is no natural ingredient that bleach or lighten skin except chemical, and no chemical that bleaches skin except terrible or toxic chemicals; natural ingredients only glow and bring out natural complexion bright naturally, but can never alter or change your natural complexion.

A child of God cannot bleach, lighten, “tone up a bit” or whiten skin, doing so involve many sins like covetousness, disagreement with your Creator, destroying or damaging God’s temples, inordinate ambition, abnormal focus for outward beauty or look, worldliness, etc. If you have been bleaching or lightening and you just gave your life to Jesus, you must stop using such products and let everything be new, including your complexion. If you have been born again for a while and using lightening products, you must repent, destroy all such products and go for natural or normal skincare.

Moreover, as a genuine child of God cannot use lightening products, so also we cannot sell or produce such. In your pharmacy store, supermarket, etc., you must watch against this satanic item – lightening products and never become Satan’s marketer.

If you are using any skincare product, and you notice your skin is getting lighter than usual, you must watch and stop using such product immediately.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2.

TORMENTING YOUR SOUL!
For that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds. 2 Peter 2:8.

When you become a genuine child of God through repentance of confessing and forsaking your sins, and being forgiven and cleansed through the Blood of Jesus Christ; your soul is set free and regenerated from the bondage of Satan.
After then you must be careful and watchful of the type of music you listen to, the type of movies you watch and the type of messages you listen to. You must also be watchful of the type of magazines and books you read and photos you go through. Worldly music, movies, magazines, and modern messages from these prosperity preachers can torment your soul, and that will lead to spiritual shipwreck as it happened to Lot.

Don’t build your tent in Sodom after you are saved; destroy ungodly materials of music, movies, magazines, clothing and photos. Delete them from your phone and systems and disassociate yourself from ungodly friends and modern churches, prosperity pastors and their books.

Don’t torment your precious soul with pollution, but nourish your soul with pure Word of God and grow thereby.

………..desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. 1 Peter 2:2

When you fast and pray to be delivered from powers of darkness, that is good. but after fasting and praying, do you have faith that God has delivered you? Then why repeating the prayer points every time? It means you pray out of fear not out of faith. Faith believes and receive. Some have be praying same prayer points for years, they are never delivered for 20 years, still praying to be delivered; they will never be delivered until they pray by faith not by fear.

THE BONDAGE OF DELIVERANCE
You know what? Believing that the activities of witchcraft can work against God in your life that now makes you to watch yourself instead of God watching over you, that you careful not to go to barber shops so they will not use your hair against your destiny, you are being careful not to help people, you can't even give your used clothes or shoes which you don't need, so they will not use it against you, and all that. Now you can't freely give or live freely in Christ.

You know what? You are under the bondage of Satan than you think, you need deliverance from the "deliverance of fire and fall down and die"

The "so called" deliverance you got from "enemy die" and "enemy suspicious life" has actually put you in bondage of fear and slavery. Now you need to experience the real deliverance that comes by the word of God, not by marathon fasting and prayer.

You can see that since you have been going for such deliverance, listening to such deliverance messages and praying such deliverance prayers, you are more afraid, more suspicious of people, even of your own mother or spouse, you are not as free as you were before, you cannot freely live, at any little situation, you are afraid, thinking it is attack from enemies who have refused to die by fire. You can't even testify of the goodness of God in your life, maybe in the church or in your preaching, because you believe the enemies are more powerful than God who did the miracle for you.

Is this how you want to continue living your life? Is this the freedom and liberty Jesus went to cross to purchase for us? Is this how you will continue living in fear and being suspicious of people and eventually make you to be disqualified of heaven? Or don't you know that wrong accusation or being suspicious of people wrongly in a frivolous way is a sin?

Now, are you ready to be free indeed? Are you ready to experience total freedom of our Lord Jesus Christ? The rededicate your life to Jesus, live for Him, read the word of God and believe it with all your earth more than the messages of "enemies activities"

Only the Word of God can set you free and that can make us live a victorious and fearless Christian life in Jesus.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7.

GOD'S CORRECTION BY HIS ROD

“If they break My statutes
And do not keep My commandments,
32 Then I will punish their transgression with the rod,
And their iniquity with stripes.
33 Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail.” Psalm 89:31-33

As God's children, when we break God’s rule and displease Him, in His loving-kindness, He does not abandon us, but rather correct us by His rod. This rod can come in form of physical or spiritual discipline, all at the aim of drawing us back to the right path in God. If God should leave us without discipline, it means we are already abandoned by Him and we would be judged and condemned with the world, it means we are at the mercy of Satan.

God corrects His children by rod through several means and methods so that we may not be lost forever with the bastard world.

“And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”

"If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:5-11

What To Do In God’s Discipline:

1. REALIZE – When the Lord is correcting or disciplining us, the first thing we are to do is to realize ourselves – where we have gone wrong and sinned against God. “For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.” Psalm 51:3.

2. REPENT – Realizing one’s sin without repentance is a real waste of time. Immediately we realize something wrong, we must promptly repent from those sins. Repenting means turning away from one’s ways into God’s way, forsaking the usual sinful life immediately.

3. RENEW – After we repent from the wrong way and error or any sin we found ourselves, we must separate from those things and renew our commitment to God in His word, will and work. We must be prayerful and watchful not to allow such error or sin to overtake us again.

“Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:12, 13

Comfort Of The Rod of God
“Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

When God discipline us through His rod, we have comfort:
1, that God still loves us. “Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Hebrews 12:6

2, that God still receive us as His children even though we erred. “And scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12:6

3, that God’s corrections in our lives will lead to greater blessings – spiritually and physically. When we endure God’s discipline and take to His corrections, it will lead to our profit.

“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11.

Warning!
We must not ignore or run away from God’s rod of correction or chastening, because God will not continue to strife with a man or correct him forever. Those who continuously reject correction from God will be rejected by Him at the end, and He will leave them to a reprobate hearts to continue to do sinful things without correction from Him again. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting” Romans 1:28

Revelation 3:19-22
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

Prayer
Our loving Father, we thank you for your rod of correction, and we pray you help us know where we are missing it and give us the grace to take to your correction for better. We ask in Jesus name. Amen!

BELIEVING THE WORD OF GOD
Apostle Paul was on a journey to Rome by ship, with Luke and about 260 people. along the journey in the sea there arose a terrible tempest wind like hurricane, just as there is Hurricane Florence going on now, but then Apostle Paul’s ship face a tempestuous head wind called Euroclydon. It was like a joke, but as the ship proceeded in the middle of the sea, they were “exceedingly tempest-tossed”. So they began to lighten the load in the ship, using their hands to throw away their goods, but that did not solve the problem of terrible winds.

There were professional marine people or scientists in the ship; so the people had professional hope that things would get better, they had technical hope, scientific hope, and even spiritual hope of prayer. But sincerely it got to a point that they lost all hope that they would ever survive, including Luke and Paul with their spiritual hope. In Acts 27:20 says, “Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.”

So finally, finally, everyone eventually gave up all hope – professional hope, scientific hope, technical hope, spiritual interventional hope, they collectively faced the reality and gave up all hope. But suddenly at night the angel of God appeared to Paul with the word of God, “For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ Acts 27:23, 24.

In the midst of all impossibilities of surviving, the word of God came to Paul that they would all survive. Paul said further in verse 25, “Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.”

Paul believed God that it would be just as it was told him. He chose to believe the word of God more than the present tempest wind or hurricane or the terrific Euroclydon.

Now here is what later happened, “And as day was about to dawn, Paul implored them all to take food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day you have waited and continued without food, and eaten nothing. 34 Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.” 35 And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat.” Acts 27:33-35.

The Word Is More Important
In our journey of life, in temptation of life or in tempest wind of life, what we need most importantly is the word of God, that is what can survive us to the end. Prayer and fasting are very good, but there is a point at which prayer and fasting can survive you, at which speaking in tongue can survive you, at which prophecies can survive you, but only the word of God can survive and sustain us to the end.

Why We Need To Believe God’s Word Immediately
When the Word of God comes to us in any situation, we must believe it immediately as Paul did. You know why you need to believe immediately? Two reasons:

1, When the word of God comes to you in any situation, maybe in sickness, poverty, tempest wind like Paul, or in any confusing or terrible situation, immediately the word comes out, it neutralizes and destroys the force behind that situation, though the wind may continue to blow, Euroclydon may continue to look and roll terribly, the sickness may still be there, the medical reports remains the same, the barrenness may still be there, the poverty, joblessness may still be there in the surface or physical, but deep beyond what you see, that tempest winds, terrible sickness or whatever you are passing through has been deactivated, it cannot prevail over you at all. You know what Paul told the people in the ship, he said, “Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.” Acts 27:34. The terrible Euroclydon could not remove a single hair from any of the 266 people. That is the power of God’s word.

Any time God’s word comes out to you, believe and begin to rejoice, because it’s sure and settled, even in heaven. Your divine intervention, safety, success, miracle, healing is in the Word of God. But you must believe before you can see it. John 11:40, “Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

2, The second reason you need to believe the word of God above every situation surrounding you is that, you need to survive until your expected miracle comes, and the only thing that can survive you is not fasting, running here and there, but believing the word of God. Now, do you know many children of God died in some situation, it was not the situation or sickness that killed them, but it was worry and unbelief. The word of God had already neutralized the force of the sickness or situation, but it was the medical results or information they read online of the impossibility of the sickness or situation that killed them.

If you do not believe the word of God in your situation, you may die before your miracle arrive, you may miss your miracle. Now, look at the situation of Paul, what if they did not eat food in the ship, hunger would have killed them not the tempest wind. That was the reason Paul told them, “Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.” Acts 27:34.

“for this is for your survival”
Believing the Word of God is for your survival in any situation, the word of God survives and sustains us in every situation into unexpected success. You must believe the Word of God and cheer up and begin to take nourishment, begin to rejoice, begin to prepare for your marriage, for your children, for your healing, for your job, for your provision, for your promotion, and for your success!

When the word of God came to Hannah even in her stark barrenness, how did she respond to the word of God? “So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.”1 Samuel 1”18.

What About You?
As the word of God is coming to you now, how will you respond? Will you believe and behave in like manner? Or will you doubt and continue in sadness, sorrow, losing all hope of surviving or succeeding and die before your miracle arrives?

If you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you must believe His Word more than the tempest wind or any situation you are passing through, because it will be just as the Word of God has said to you.

“Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.” Acts 27:25.

Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT"

Friend, it is appointed unto man once to die . . . and one day — YOU will die . . .
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments . . .

But God is a God of LOVE. . . Why would a GOD OF LOVE send me to hell? Yes, God is a GOD OF LOVE — but God is also a HOLY GOD. A HOLY GOD demands payment for sin. Otherwise God would NOT and could NOT be HOLY.

Because God is holy — sin MUST be condemned. Joshua 24:19 says, ". . he is an HOLY GOD;. . . he will NOT forgive your transgressions nor your sins."

BUT FRIEND I HAVE GOOD NEWS!
God does NOT want you in hell because hell was not made for man. Matthew 25:41 says, hell was, ". . . prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Because God is a GOD OF LOVE, and He LOVED YOU so much, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die a cruel death on a cross to pay the price a HOLY GOD demands for your sins.
Roman 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ. When you refuse God's love gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. . .

I have never seen anyone who has genuine encounter with Jesus for salvation arguing that alcoholic drink is not a sin.

Some years back, I had argument with someone who claimed alcoholic drink is not a sin as long the person is not drunk. He quoted from Bible that Jesus turned water to wine and all that. But later the Spirit of God told me not to waste time to argue with people of such, that "Arguing with people who say alcoholic drinks are not sin will never save them, and that when they are genuinely saved they will not argue about such thing"

People who say a child of God can still drink alcohol moderately are not yet saved in Christ, no need to argue with them, because that will not save them. What they need is salvation in Jesus, when that happens they will not have problem with dropping anything that has to do with alcohol.

A saved person in Christ does not take alcoholic drink, not even moderately, those who do take it are mere religious Christians.

Someone who is saved in Christ has nothing to do with alcoholic drink, and an alcoholic drinking person has no salvation in Christ.

REMEMBER LOT’S WIFE
“Remember Lot’s wife.” Luke 17:32.

At this point and period of time, if there is any message to remember, if there is any warning of the Bible to remember, it is the warning of Jesus Christ to remember Lot’s wife; if there is anything to remember, it is to remember the warning of Jesus Christ to remember Lot’s wife. At the point when God was to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, the Angels of God came to rescue Lot, his wife and two kids. After the warning by the angel not to look back to the perishing Sodom, Lot’s wife looked back because of the possession and prosperity of Sodom and she perished with the Sodomites.

Jesus want us to look away from all the cares of this world because they are about to perish, Jesus want us to surrender all our sins and excuses now so that they will not hold us back from being raptured. It is either you learn from Lot’s wife and be wise or you are left behind. This timely warning is applicable to all, irrespective of your Christian life or level.

So, what shall we do? Here are the things you urgently need to do now if you don’t want to perish with this perishing world:

R E P E N T
No need to pretend but repent, no need to proof and no need to procrastinate, you need to repent now, and we all need to repent. This is not just the incessant confession of sins; repentance is realizing your sins as sins and ready to forsake them. Your confession will do you no good if you are not ready to forsake them and start a new life, if you are not ready to surrender all. Everyone needs to repent and every sin needs to be repented of. The serious sins and simple sin, common sins and general sins; secret sins and open sins, normal sins, it-doesn’t-matter sins, and besetting sins. No need for further delay, no need for comparism game, and it is foolish for anyone to be fooling himself now by saying, “this is my weakness, every body has a weakness, and no one is perfect” That little weakness has the strong capacity to hold you back from the rapture. Now is to repent from all forms of sins and worldliness.

R E D E D I C A T E
Every one has to rededicate his or her life to Jesus afresh now and start a new life of holiness no matter your position, possession or popularity. If you are a child of God, you need to still rededicate your life to God to search and sanctify you. Proofing and pretending will cause you great havoc at this time. We must humble ourselves before God.

R E S T I T U D E
Many Christians will miss the rapture because of undone or procrastinated restitution. Satan is deceiving many Christians that necessary restitution is not necessary, that God has forgiven you all and no more condemnation. But how qill you meet the Lord with baggage of false documents, age, and hidden secret sin of your past? You need to make right the existing wrongs of the past. Don’t be deceived but do it now. Put your life in order for the rapture is about to take place, so that you will not be found wanton.

R E V I V E!
Repent from all forms of sins, rededicate your life to God, re-consecrate your life to Jesus and be on fire for God and be fervent for Him. Go extra miles. After you surrender all, read your Bible every morning and evening, pray first and mostly about your Christian life and growth, go stronger. Preach the message of repentance and rapture to people; we can’t overdo it because rapture will only happen once. Don’t compare yourself with others, whoever. Let people call you fool, don’t mind them, they will soon see who fool is after the rapture. People also called Noah fool but when the Flood came they got to know who actually the fool was. They called Lot fool, you also be a fool to this present perishing world and be wise to God in your life, in gentleness, sincerity, purity, openness and simple life. Let your purpose of living, focus of life from now, and your expectation be to meet Jesus pure. If they say your own is getting too much or you are going too far, tell them you just started, because you have got to go far from Sodom before the destruction will take place. Take the things of this world with loose hand and hold strongly to holy and godly living.

Even with all that is happening everywhere in the world, many are being fooled by the devil through the deception of riches and cares of the world. The truth is that they cannot spend the money they are saving now after the rapture except they receive the mark of the Ant-Christ, they cannot use the cars, houses and all the possessions Satan is using to delay their salvation and distract them from serving God wholeheartedly. What a foolish generation! But you will be wise now, won’t you?

Luke 17: 29, but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.

THE TEMPLE OF GOD
"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

In the Old Testament, temple of God was a physical building in Jerusalem, but in the New Testament, the physical body of every child of God is the temple of God. When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your body becomes the temple of God, and your heart serves the throne of God.

DEFILING THE TEMPLE OF GOD
Many Christians and preachers claim that God is only interested in their hearts and nothing with their body, and so they can do anything with their bodies. Such teaching and notion is from the pit of hell, very deceptive and destructive; the same Christians ask God to heal their bodies when they are sick and also ask God to protect their bodies, so if God is not interested in their bodies, why will God heal their bodies from sickness? If they think their faith in God has nothing to do with God, why will they ask God to heal or protect the their body from attacks?

Jesus Christ died for our soul, spirit and body, to give freedom, not only for our soul but also our body. When you become a child of God, your body is no longer your body but God's temple, whatever you do with it is very important to God. Involving in any act that defiles God's temple attracts serious judgment of God. "If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:17.

ACTS OF DEFILING GOD'S TEMPLE: Here are some acts that defile God's temple, which every child of God should flee from:

(1) SMOKING: Smoking is not just a wrong against one's health, but also it is a sin of defiling God's temple after salvation. After you are genuinely saved, going back to smoke is destructive to your spirit, soul and body, it defiles God's temple - your body, and it attracts God's judgment.

(2) DRINKING ALCOHOL: Drinking alcohol was not allowed in the temple of God in the Old Testament, “Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die." Leviticus 10:9; and how much more do you expect with the temple redeemed by the Blood of Jesus? The reason why drinking alcohol is a forbidden thing to a genuine child of God is because his body is the temple of God, and alcohol is not allowed in the temple of God.

(3) TATTOO: Painting tattoo to the body is only meant for the gentiles, the unbelievers who owe their own bodies for their destruction, but when your body becomes the temple of God, redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus, it becomes sinful and evil to paint tattoo on your body. "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:28 "I AM THE LORD OF YOUR BODY AFTER YOU SURRENDER YOUR LIFE TO ME, NOT YOUR OWN ANYMORE" - JESUS CHRIST.

(4) BLEACHING: Toning and bleaching skin is an act of defiling the temple of God. When you become a child of God through repentance, your body belongs to Jesus, and you dare not do anything to your body that will not glorify God. Bleaching and toning skin is evil and destructive; it shows your discontentment with the natural color God gave you, and it is destroying your skin.

(5) MASTURBATION: Masturbation is an act of manipulating one's body for sexual pleasure, it is forbidden by every genuine child of God, because our body is the temple of God and we cannot manipulate it. Masturbation actually mean having sex with demon; since it is for sexual pleasure and it usually involves two people; in masturbation, the other person is invisible and that is demon. When you surrender your life to Jesus completely, you must resist and reject the demon of masturbation when he comes back to romance with you.

(6) MouthAction: Either in marriage or outside marriage, MouthAction is an immoral act of working against the normal cause of nature, it is turning the cause of nature upside down by using what is meant for oral for sex and what is meant for sex for oral; but since your body is the temple of God, you will not want to turn the temple of God upside down, you know God will not take that for granted?

(7) FORNICATION & ADULTERY: These are the worst of all sins, because sexual immorality is the only sin that cuts across spirit, soul and body at the same time. it's a serious sin that poisons the whole system. Sexual immorality is a sacrifice that empowers the kingdom of darkness, what it means is that whenever sexual immorality is being committed, demons are readily present to empower themselves. Bodies or places where sexual immorality is being committed are filled with demons. Since your body becomes the temple of God, it is a must to keep yourself and flee from every form of sexual immorality. If you have involved in such before, you repent, ask Jesus to cleanse you and do not go back into it.

DESTRUCTION FOR DEFILING GOD'S TEMPLE
"If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:17.

There is grave judgment of God for anyone who defiles temple of God by any act. If you have been involving in any of these acts, you have to repent and ask God to forgive you and turn to Him in a new life completely.

Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

WHAT IS VAIN REPETITION IN PRAYER?
“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” Matthew 6:7

Jesus Christ directed us not to involve vain repetitions in our prayers, and so what is vain repetition? Does it means praying long prayer or saying a word or statement repeatedly? Does it means asking God something more than once in our prayer, even though we have not received it? NO, vain repetition is none of the above. Vain repetition is more serious, subtle, and deceptive. There is different between “vain repetition” and “repetition”. Jesus did not not say we should not repeat or re-emphasize in our prayers, He did not oppose repetition, but only vain repetition.

Vain repetition comes in various ways which many of us get involved unknowingly. Jesus said, “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.” This shows that vain repetitions were originally the act of the heathen - religious worshipers, the people who worshiped false gods and the religious people.

Here are some vain repetitions:

FAITH IN PRAYER
The heathens’ faith is hinged on their prayer, believing the answers to their prayers are determined by their prayer, "For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” Matthew 6:7 The heathen who are not serving Jesus but other gods, keep repeating in pain, hoping their gods will consider how they suffer themselves, and answer them. Let’s see example from the Bible: 1 kings 18:26-28, “So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made. 27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.”

In Christianity, our faith does not depend on our prayer but on the God who answers prayer. Christ did not teach us to put our faith in our prayer, but in God that answers prayer; He said we should even believe God’s answers before we prayer. So, “It is not by power, neither by might, but by My Spirit” says the Lord. Using candle, water, anointing oil, handkerchief or other stuffs to pray is an act of the idol worshipers; the scripture directs us to pray only in the name of Jesus Christ and believe God for answer, simple! Anything apart from that is extra-biblical phenomenon. There is nothing called special prayer, special man of God for speedy answer or special place to pray in the teaching of Jesus Christ; running from mountains to meetings, traveling from far distance to a program for special prayer is an act of unbelievers.

We can travel far distance to hear the Word of God that will help our spiritual lives, and we can travel far distance to do the work of God, but not for special prayer or to meet special man of God who will help us pray to God. When you become a child of God, and living your life to please Him, you have access to God through the name of Jesus Christ, without intermediary. Only the heathen, unbelievers or unserious Christians need somebody to help them present their requests to God. As children of God, we can pray for one another and pray together, but not presenting our prayers to another person to pray to God on our behalf. Giving a minister money for prayer, paying money or making vow before prayer are unscriptural.

PRAYER WITHOUT FAITH
This is common in the lives of many Christians today, we pray as routine, just to pray because we are Christians, without faith in God for the prayer, without expectation for the prayer. Prayer without faith is in vain. We pray because we serve God that answers prayer, who delights in our prayer. Prayer is an exciting activity because God listens and answers, but when prayer becomes boring to you, it means you do not have faith that God listens or will answer your prayer.The fact that God delays to answer your demands does not means He is denying you or He does not delight in you; God is only doing great things on your behalf that will daze many who will later hear your testimony. If you have the knowledge that whenever you pray, heaven stands still, that God is waiting for the sweet smelling of your prayer, you will look forward to praying, and not look warm in prayer. Jesus did not ask us to pray for the sake of praying as a Christian routine, but He asks us to pray so that we can receive.

John 16:24, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Praying without expectation is a vain repetition; until you are expectant, you have asked nothing.

PRAYER WITHOUT OBEDIENCE
Obedience to God is more important than prayer to God. When you ignore to obey God’s word, and you keep praying, it means you are doing vain repetitions. Maybe you suppose to repent and confess your sin, but you ignore that and keep praying for God’s mercy, such prayer is vain repetition. Some people commit sins, and instead of them to open up, confess to God and the necessary people, they keep praying for forgiveness and mercy – they are doing VAIN repetition. We can only receive mercy when we confess and forsake our sins. Proverbs 28:13. When the Spirit of God is leading you to open up your covered sin or to do restitution, but you refuse to obey, and you keep praying for mercy, mercy; you are only doing vain repetition. Obedience is better than sacrifice!

Maybe you are living in sin, living with sinful partner, doing a sinful business, working at an ungodly place, using fake document, age or you are benefiting from your past sin; then the Word of God is warning you to forsake the sins and forfeit the sinful benefits and surrender all to God, but instead of you to simply obey, you remain in the sinful thing and you keep fasting and praying for God’s mercy. Such prayer is a waste of time and a vain repetition. Some even go to the extend of giving huge amount of money and time for God’s work, thinking God will consider that and overlook their disobedience; they are ignorant that God cannot be bribed by fasting, long prayer or sacrifices. Obedience to God’s word is more important than prayer and fasting, than sowing or giving for God’s work. Your pastors or your church can accept your gifts and pray for you, but you are not at peace with your Creator until you simply obey.

Matthew 5:23, 24, “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

Prayer is should be made continuously without ceasing. In any particular request, we should keep asking, reminding God until our joy is full - that is faith repetition not vain repetition. Keep the Word of God in total obedience, keep the faith, and keep praying until your joy is full.

John 14:13-16:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.

PASSING THROUGH PROBLEM
Matthew 26:53, “ Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?”

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, during His earthly ministration, was in a tough situation, people were wandering why God would not send immediate help to His dear Son, and Peter was trying to give immediate shortcut. But Jesus Christ made them to know, "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?" Jesus Christ was not after the immediate solution or miracle, but to fulfill God's purpose, He said, " How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” Matthew 26:53, 54.

You are passing through problems and difficulties; you have been praying that God should solve or remove the problem, but things have not changed. Then you are perplexed because God doesn't answer your prayer as you desire. You are so disturbed, thinking God does not love you? Thinking Jesus Christ is ignoring you? Do you think Jesus cannot talk to His Father and provide immediate solution? But how then will the scripture be fulfilled in your life for good?

In your present difficulties, do you think Jesus does not care for you so much? Do you think He does not have the power to send millions of angels to attend to you? But how will God’s special purpose be fulfilled in your life? What really matters to Jesus in your life is not the present problem you are passing through but for God’s peculiar purpose to come to pass in your life.

God planned the salvation of the world through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, no other way. If Jesus did not pass through Calvary to the cross, then there wouldn’t have been salvation for the world. In like manner God planned the promotion and greatness of Joseph by passing through problems and prison, if he didn’t pass through prison, he would not have come to palace; if he had compromised in sin at the Potiphar’s house, if he had been discouraged and gave up along the way, that would have brought God’s purpose for his life to an end.

And now is your turn. You are passing through several problems in your personal life, marriage, ministry, business, academy, finance; those problems are not God’s purpose for your life, they are just a passage by which you pass into God’s purpose in your life. God’s part is to be faithful to His promise, He did not need to show you the problem from the beginning, He didn’t show Joseph either, because He is not concern about the temporal problem, His concern is to fulfill His purpose which He has promised you. Your own part is to patiently wait and stay faithful to Him. Now, the question is, will you complain or compromise into sin for quick relief? Or will you continue and let God’s purpose come to pass in your life?

Why do you complain as if Jesus is not able to ask His Father for immediate provision for you? But how will the purpose of God come to pass in your life? You must care for God’s purpose coming to pass in you’re your life, not complaining about the present condition which will soon pass away. It is not easy to hold on in this present life when everything is moving fast, but since God controls time and season, our waiting on Him will not make our season to expire until His special promises comes to pass. He is never too late. You may say, “But it is late already, time has really gone on me.” The truth is that, when we wait on God, He turns the “late” to “latest” since He is in charge of the universe. Don't you know?

Do not compromise God’s scripture, do not compromise God’s standard; persevere in prayer and persist in purity. Do not yield to sinful suggestion, opportunities or shortcut to get yourself a temporal relief that will result to regret.

As God is working great things for you which eyes have not seen, He is only making you to pass through situation to make you strong, He is only making you to experience difficulties to do you good at the end. If you wait faithfully on God and serve Him, the fire you pass through will not burn you but refine you. The end result is what really matter, and God is the Beginning and the End. So wait on Him, watch in prayer, Bible reading and godliness, and working for Him; no complaining and no compromising into sin.

Psalm 66:10-12
For You, O God, have tested us;
You have refined us as silver is refined.
11 You brought us into the net;
You laid affliction on our backs.
12 You have caused men to ride over our heads;
We went through fire and through water;
But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

WHAT IS MODERATION?
"Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand." Philippians 4:5

Moderation is showing little and sharing much; showing little of your financial capacity, little of your body when you dress, showing little. That is perfect example of Jesus Christ, when He was on earth, He showed little of His heavenly glory, He didn't show off, many times He did not want people to see or say His heavenly glory, He only showed little to the glory of God.

Moderation must affect every area of our lives, in our dressing, showing only necessary little part of your body, that is moderation. Wearing shorts, exposing one's body is not moderation; wearing tight, exposing one's shape is not moderation; wearing transparent clothing, exposing one's underwear is not moderation but extravagantly exorbitant.

The Christ-like nature of moderation must reflect in our spending and lifestyle. Some modern Christians like to show off not only in dressing but in spending, some even live above their financial capacity, that is not the nature of Christ, can you imagine a Christian taking loan to buy expensive car? Some outspend for ceremonies - wedding, naming, etc. Some take their children to expensive schools just in the name of classic lifestyle, and they can't afford to take another child living with them in the same school.

There is difference between showing forth the glory of God and showing off yourself. When you are living extravagantly expensive lifestyle, getting latest expensive things because you want to class yourself, because that is how your colleagues at work do, because you can, because God has blessed you, such lifestyle is not showing forth God's glory but showing yourself.

Those who dress to call attention to themselves, to show off their bodies by wearing shorts, tight or transparent, and those who attract attention to themselves by wearing expensive stuffs, living high class lifestyles are not living in moderation but in molestation of God's grace; and by the time the enemies of their souls come to molest them, they will be helpless.

Let's humble ourselves, correct ourselves and be moderate in all things by God's grace. The Lord is at hand.

C O M P R O M I S E
Two years ago, my family and I traveled from Abuja to Ibadan on a chartered vehicle, as we got to a particular Police Checking point; the Police officer stopped the vehicle and asked the driver for his particulars, on checking his papers he said the vehicle’s tinted glass permit is old and he did not have the new paper. The driver appealed to him but the Police officer refused, asked us to driver to Police station and we stayed there for about 2 hours. The driver begged the police officer, but he demanded money in form of bribe of N5000. All what the police officer was asking and waiting for was the bribe. Other drivers the police officers arrested for the same offence were giving the bribe. My wife and children were not comfortable in the hot weather, we left Abuja early so as to avoid delay on the road, but here we are inside hot sun. After some times, I went to the police officer and asked him what he wanted the driver to do, he was talking of giving bribe and said if the driver was not ready, I should help to pay the bribe. Other police officers told me that I should go and talk with the driver, that if we don’t give the bribe we would stay there till night, that the driver will just delay us unnecessarily, that I should consider my children suffering inside the sun.

I went to the driver and told him never give the bribe that we should wait still. I was considering of going to the nearest town to get another vehicle. Later the police officers asked for N1000, but I told the driver never to give it. And later it came to my mind to call a radio presenter/human right activist in Abuja maybe he could help. After talking with him on phone, he sent the phone number of DPRO of Police headquarters in Abuja to me, and I called the man. Within a short time, the DPO of the Police station came out, begging and apologizing to us to leave. I was like “What if I had compromised and given bribe to the police?” At the end, God intervened and I did not lose my salvation because of the delay. We got to Ibadan safely.

Compromise! What is compromise? Compromise is going against the Word and will of God as a result of internal and external pressure, what people will say, and because of personal profit, pleasure, punishment, persecution or position. Call to compromise is a common occurrence in Christian living, but compromising is a personal decision to run into enemy's trap and waste God's grace and mercy.

As a dedicated child of God who has experienced genuine salvation, you will come across situation where you will either stand for the Word of God or compromise with the world.

COMMON SENSE CHRISTIANS ARE COMPROMISING CHRISTIANS
"Everybody is doing it, and why not you? Why do you want to be different from all other Christian?" These are some of the questions that will fly in, but your stand should be, "Others may…, but I will not" Situations prove our love and commitment to God. Satan may allow you to put several effort in a project, a lot of time in a relationship, and when you are almost through, there will be a sinful demand; at this point, you will either stand for God's word to let everything go or you compromise and let God go out of your life.

Sinful requests or demands come in marital relationship, in business, at workplace, for job application, for contact application, for travelling; to lie, to cheat, to bribe, to change age, to change figure or document, to commit premarital sex, fornication or adultery, to fall short of God's standard. At that point, you will either stand for holiness or compromise your Christian faith.

Many Christians are compromising God's standard when pressures come on them, "For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles." Matthew 13:21. These compromising Christians are the majority in Christianity of today, because of pressure of people, persecution or punishment of people, profit from people, pleasure of life, and position. Among these common Christians are pastors, Evangelists, prophets and bishops; they don't see anything wrong in some sinful and worldly activities so as to get along with the world.

COMMON SENSE
Those Christians who compromise God's standard apply their common sense instead of God's word. At the end of your life here on earth, God will not judge you by your common sense or by the reasons of your common pastors or Christians, but by the scriptures which never change. Your common sense cannot walk with God, but only by God's word we can walk with God.

You knew it was a sin, you heard it was a sin and you said it was a sin, but along the way as Satan mounted up pressure within and without, then you began to reason and see nothing wrong in it. You don't want to lose it and start again, you don't want your spouse to reject you, you don't want your parents to disown you, you don't want to lose your job, certificate, money and the golden opportunity, and so you want to apply common sense and the advice of common Christians. If you compromise, you have allowed Satan to prevail over your life.

COMMON MISTAKE
Compromise really means deciding to please men and displease God instead, it means fearing men more than God, and it's saying, "I better sin against God instead of sinning against man" Is it not a mistake and stupidity for a man to choose to displease his Creator because of fellow creatures? When you compromise God's Word and will, you miss God's special program for your life, you allow Satan to prevail and you become a big looser at the end, though you may look smart initially.

CONSEQUENCES
For every compromise there is a consequence, it is Satan deception that makes a child of God to compromise God's standard of holiness. When a child of God compromises, he misses God's purpose for his life on earth, the Holy Spirit departs from him and his name is removed from the Book of Life. Such a Christian is exposed to satanic attacks because compromise is like using one's hand to break the hedge of God's protection and thereby allow satanic serpent to attack. "And whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent." Ecclesiastes 10:8. Such a Christian can suffer severe lost, premature death and eternal damnation in hell fire.

COME WHAT MAY!
After you surrender your life to Jesus, never compromise God's standard with anyone, come what may. Do not trade your salvation for anything or with any one. Do not compromise with the common Christians and churches, and never allow the pressure, persecution or profit of this temporal world to deceive you into compromise. If you have compromised before, you need urgent repentance and retrace your way back. Satan is waiting at your point of compromise to strike your soul down, and there may never be a second chance. Come what may, never compromise into sin!

"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank." Daniel 1:8

"O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18.
