HOW TO BE SAVED AND START A NEW LIFE IN JESUS!

Dear reader, it’s by God’s mercy to exist to this time, Satan’s plan for us is to die in sin and doom forever in hell fire. Without genuine salvation, there is no way we can escape the judgment of God, so count it as a great privilege to have this opportunity, and so you need to make the best use of it for your salvation and new life in Jesus.

How can you have genuine salvation that will guarantee eternal life with Jesus and grant you the grace to overcome sin, Satan and self? Please follow the following steps:

No Excuse, but admit it.
If truly you need God’s mercy to pardon your sins and give you grace to overcome them, then you need to face it by yourself and acknowledge your sin. Don’t excuse sin because everybody is doing it - in your church (even your pastors, parents or partners), in your family, in your place of work, etc. Don’t says, “Does that means everybody doing it will go to hell fire?” Yes, everybody can go to hell and God will still be righteous. Jesus said instead of you to be thinking how many will be saved, YOU strife to be saved NOW. Don’t excuse sin because of its popularity, it’s in person - you, face it. And sin is sin, either small or great, there is no difference, you just be sincere and confess it.

Psalm 51:3

For I acknowledge my transgressions,

And my sin is always before me.

4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,

And done this evil in Your sight

Make a Genuine Confession
Do you wonder why you’ve made several confessions of your sins and yet you still have guilt of those sins, you still go back into such sins, and your salvation is not certain or you find yourself going back into your sins? It’s simple: you didn’t make genuine confession. Genuine confession is not just using the name of Jesus, not answering alter call and so on. Take the next 2 steps that lead you to genuine salvation in Jesus Christ:

First Repent before You confess.
There are many fake confessions, but if you sincerely want to make acceptable confession, you must first repent. No need for you to confess if there is no repentance in you. Repentance is thoughtful realization of your sins and determination to forsake them. If you confess without readiness to forsake the sins you confess, you are simply wasting your time, and the sins will soon get you down. To repent is not to be sorry for your sins, if you are sorry without readiness to forsake all, you will have a sorry case and that is not a genuine salvation. Humble yourself before God now and surrender all.

Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Pray It All
Now all you need to do is to go before in prayer as you confess your sins and ask God to forgive you through His Son Jesus Christ. Tell Him you are sorry for how you have lived and all you have done, ask Him to cleanse you by the Blood of Jesus and give you a new heart and a new spirit. He will do it as He has promised in His Word saying, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8-9.

Now is the time for your salvation! Do not delay further, do it now, don’t allow Satan to distract or delay you, because another chance may not come. You can pray the prayer for the next 5 to 10 minutes.

Have you prayed the prayer for your salvation? Then let me pray with you:

“Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for our sins, thank You for coming to seek us and counting us worthy to be saved. You promised that if we come to You, You will not cast us away; that if we admit and confess our sins, no mater how many and how terrible, You will forgive and cleanse us. So I pray for this beloved, as s/he has repented, confessed and asked for Your forgiveness, save her/him and give her/him a new nature of Yours to live for You from today. Thank You Lord because You have answered, for we prayed in Jesus name. Amen.”

Now You Are saved!

Now, you are saved, you are born again with a new life by Jesus Christ. You need to start the new life guided by God’s Word. You have to disassociate and detach yourself from old lifestyle; old things that are not according to God’s Word and friendship that can pull you back to old life in sin. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” You can’t continue in your old lifestyle anymore, you are now a genuine, heaven recognized child of God and your life must be guided by His Word. You need to be reading Bible every day and praying about your new life. You should be reading at least 2 chapters of Bible everyday and take time to pray for your spiritual growth and daily strength; you can start from Matthew chapter 1. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding before you read and pray after you finish reading. Pray for God’s grace and Spirit to live daily according to His word and to overcome every temptation on your way, and be watchful every time at every situation in your new life in Jesus!

As you have now started a new life in Christ Jesus, heaven is rejoicing over you as your name is written in the Book of Life. Look only unto Jesus, not any man or any pastor. There are many false teachings everywhere because we are in end time, so let the Bible be your supreme guide!

FALSE TEACHING ON RICHES AND PROSPERITY

"THAT IF YOU ARE FINANCIALLY RICH, YOU WILL SERVE GOD BETTER."

This is a grand unbiblical, false teaching of demons in this end time. If you want to serve Jesus Christ well and make heaven, you will listen to what He Himself says about riches and wealth, not what the agents of Satan are saying in the name of pastor, bishop, evangelist or daddy G.O. Jesus Christ taught about riches and wealthy so clear that no serious minded Christian should be misled. Sometimes I wonder how popular and acceptable the doctrines of demons on riches and prosperity is among today’s Christians as if Jesus never taught about it, why can’t we follow the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ on this topic instead of being deceived and carried away by the teachings of Satan through his agents?

Jesus Christ says if you are rich, it becomes more difficult for you to make heaven. Matthew 19:23, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” This Bible verse is a direct statement from Jesus Christ, which the prosperity preachers will never talk about, they will even wish to remove it from the Bible. What it means is that the more you are financially rich, the more it becomes hard for you to make heaven, the more you need extra grace, watchfulness and purity. But on the contrary, the teachings of Satan through his enormous agents – prosperity preachers – says that if you are financially rich, it so easy for you to make heaven. Have you not heard such thing before and believed it? That if you are financially prosperous and rich, you will be able to serve God very well. than ever before. You will never find such in the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ or His apostles or even among our contemporary fathers of faith, but only among the agents of Satan who call themselves prosperity preachers, motivational speakers, senior pastors, daddy G.O of Satan, bishops of demons and evangelists of hell.

The teaching that more riches makes easier for a Christian to serve God is on the contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ and from the pit of hell. And many are being deceived today, that is the reason many Christians are looking for riches by all means because they believe it will help them to serve God better. The only thing that makes it easy to serve God is grace, not financial riches or prosperity.

The teachings of demons exalts prosperity more than purity, and that you can see in many churches’ preaching, prayer points, and among their preachers books and CDs, they preach and pray on financial riches and prosperity as if that is the purpose of Jesus Christ dying on the cross.

You know what the Bible says about any preacher or pastor that preaches or prays on riches than righteousness or on prosperity than purity, such person is useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. – 1 Timothy 6:5

Bible does not say you should continue to attend a church where financial riches is exalted than righteousness, where prosperity is preached often more than purity of life, and it does not says you should keep reading books, watching program or listen to CDs of such preachers, you know what the Bible says? It says withdraw yourself from such. 1 Timothy 6:5.

When you attend a church where 6 out of 10 prayer points center on financial breakthrough and open doors of earthly blessings, where 6 out of 10 consecutive preaching and messages are about prosperity, favour, grace, glory of financial or material blessings and earthly stuffs, then you are in a mortuary, not a sanctuary. The Bible warns you to withdraw from such before you also become a living death Christian. 1 Timothy 6:5.

And you as a Christian, if 6 out 10 f your prayer points, center on riches of life, prosperity or problems of life, then you have become a spiritual member of Laodicea church. If your personal pursuits, program or plans are all about living a comfortable or prosperous life, to possess more of things of this life, to be popular, to have more money or to get the latest of materials in this passing world, then you are a living dead. You need to rededicate your life to Jesus afresh lest you perish with this world

The Bible says in the end-time many will be deceived by the doctrines of prosperity and riches, many churches that started well will end up at the feet of Satan. And are there not many who are falling apart? Are there not many Christians who are following the doctrines of Balaam? Are there not many who will miss heaven? But you must strive to make it to heaven in this perilous time.

It is all about priority! When we get our priority right to make first thing first, to seek the kingdom of God and its righteous living first, to pray and preach first on the kingdom of God, to live first for the kingdom of God, to work first for the kingdom of God in evangelism and good deed of sharing and supporting others with our riches, then prosperity from God in our lives will not become problem to our spiritual lives.

SINGLES: SEXUAL URGE & IT'S REALITY
-A Narrative Article on Singles & Sex!

If you were used to desktop computer some years back, there is something called "Screen saver" you know that? If you leave a desktop computer that has screen saver un-used for some minutes, you will see some animated pictured moving round on the screen as if it's a video show, but immediately you touch the mouse of the computer, the whole screen saver show disappears. That's exactly the reality with those terrific sexual urge you experience as a single brother or sister, and especially when you get to relationship.

Let me start with my personal experience when I was single. Before I got married, I believed I had high sexual urge, but I thank God for His grace that kept me all through till marriage as a “virgin” despite all those terrible temptations. And when I met my wife-to-be, I was like “I would be free from the afternoon of our wedding day, infect I would not want a long sermon or wedding service, I would not want a prolonged wedding reception, my mind would be straight to the honeymoon with my wife and the unprecedented must start from that Saturday afternoon at the honeymoon.” That was my mind when we were preparing for our wedding. And you know those electrifying shock when holding the sister’s hand, you dare not go further lest you get electrocuted  And all those “chemistry” feeling, it was like high gauge “hydrometerred” Caustic Soda. Even more than having chemistry, if there is any other feeling like “Electricity” “Physics”, etc. When she came to visit my mother in another state, I vacated my room for the night. You know as a single, sleeping together in the same room with your fiancée is more like committing spiritual suicide.

To God be the glory we got married in Ibadan and moved to Lagos, and with the little we had, we went to a night honeymoon. But something happened, this brother that was over-ready few days ago, that was hyper-ready, that had electrical shocking touch, that had over-gauge caustic soda chemistry feeling towards the sister, can you believe the same very brother became afraid when he got to the honeymoon with his very wife? Saturday went, Sunday came and went, Monday came and went yet the brother was still scared of…. My Youth Co-coordinator leader called me on Monday, and said, “Gideon you are now a “something I can’t remember” man” But I said, “Sir, I’m not yet oooo, I’m scared” So where are all those terrific chemistry, electricity, physic, etc.? It was a screen saver.

Do I mean Christian couples don’t have chemistry, romantic feeling and sexual attractions in marriage? No, what I mean is this: there is something called “high voltage” in electricity supply, you heard about power surge that happened in some parts of Nigeria recently? The Transformer of that community was faulty, it couldn’t step down the high voltage current transmitted, so it went straight to the consumers and destroyed lives and properties. So in electricity supplies, there is low voltage, normal voltage and high voltage. Now, the high voltage only causes damage of electric appliances and destruction of lives. Exactly the same is applicable with singles and in courtships, those “high voltage current” of romantic feeling and sexual urge that makes you feel you can’t wait until marriage, that makes you want to “taste” what you have not bought, that makes you want to commit premarital sex – oh, if that is too much to ask, ok, that makes you “want to just romance, just kiss, just what?” All such high feelings are abnormal; they are manipulations of your flesh, it’s called LUST not normal love. Such high sexual high feeling as single or in courtship is high chemistry caustic soda, it burns, such feeling is high voltage current, if you go further and touch, you will get exploded or electrocuted spiritually, mentally and ruin your glorious destiny. At least, you will not say you have not read in the Bible that warns “Touch not”

Simple Solution
The solution to Transformer that transmitted high voltage current is to repair or change the Transformer so it can control the voltage that comes before transmitting it. Exactly is applicable as a single brother and sister, you to pray for transformation of heart and self-control so that you can control every lustful thoughts the devil transmits into your heart and every high voltage feeling, keeping under your body and bringing it into subjection, lest….lest you get electrocuted. Self-control, through the help of Holy Spirit and grace of God is what you need to overcome those sexual urge, masturbation urge and lustful thoughts. The earlier you realize the solution the better.

As singles, solution to those terrific sexual urge is not to satisfy it, it’s self-control. The permanent solution to lust is self-control, not even marriage or premarital sex, it’s better to face it now, because when you get married, you will still face the lust, and without self-control, you will still fall into sexual immorality of adultery even with your wife or husband available.

You know what? As a single Christian brother or sister, maybe you are in secondary school, college, a graduate and waiting; maybe you are in courtship that remains few months to marry or so, and you are battling with such high and terrific sexual urge, high voltage, high caustic soda chemistry, let it go, do not try to have a few minutes touch or taste of what you live forever to regret, even if you have opportunity to repent, it will take long time before it will go, even after you marry, the memory of such downfall will still hurt, and it’s a trap to those who refuse to confess all to their spouse of their bad past, unsettled restitution which will hinder them to heaven and earth.

Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. Hebrews 12:15-17

HOW DO YOU?
If you get your certificate through malpractices and manipulations, how do you want God to bless you with the certificate?

If you get the job through bribery and manipulation, how do you want God to defend you when crises and enemies rise against you in that workplace?

If you lay the foundation of your marriage on premarital sex and fornication, how do you want God to prosper and preserve the marriage?

If you bribe your way with the Customs officers to import or export your goods, how do you expect God to successfully help you sell the goods?

If you build a house by money you got through untruthful means, how do you expect God to be with you in that house?

If you buy a car through money you got from bribed, manipulated, ungodly means, how can you expect God to keep you from auto accident with that car?

How will you face God when you die with those sinful records when you have not repented, confessed and do the right restitution?

FAILING OR PASSING GOD’S TEST
Before God can launch you into His abundant blessings, He will first give you a tip of the blessings and see how faithful you will be. God’s test here is not to destroy you or to tempt you into sin but to see how faithful you are with the little or much He has given you.

Every Christian must pass through period of test before they cross to the abundant blessings of God. Test is a path by which we pass into the abundant blessings of God, so passing the test from God is passing into the blessings of God, and failing the test of God is forfeiting the promised blessings of God.

Let’s look at the life of Abraham in Genesis 22. God tested Abraham and asked him to sacrifice his only son Isaac, and he obeyed and passed the test, it was after Abraham passed the test that God confirmed the promise of blessings for him. In verse 15 to 17 of Genesis chapter 22 “ Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.”

How God Tests Us
There are different ways God tests His children before releasing the abundant blessings into their lives just like Abraham.

WITH LITTLE: He can test us by giving us a little of the blessings maybe spiritual gift, anointing, talents, financial blessings, etc. and then see how we will be faithful with that little. Many people fail the test of the little. When a Christian fails the test of the little, he may lose that very little he has, Matthew 25:28, or remain stagnant in the little position, Luke 16:11.

WITH WAITING: God also tests His children with a period of waiting. Sometimes when God has the best of the bests for His children, He tests them with waiting patiently on Him. It may be for financial blessings, marital partners, jobs, breaking forth in ministry, etc. So many people are failing the test of waiting on the Lord and so missing the abundant blessings of God for their lives. Many wait 10%, and then loose heart and fall away, many even wait 99.9% and when it remains just few moments, they fall away and miss it forever. You may not know the point at which you have reached in your waiting on the Lord, maybe your time of divine visitation is closer than you think.

The Most Easiest Difficult Thing
One of the difficult things in walking with the Lord is waiting on Him in one area or the other, because you don’t know when the waiting will end, just keep waiting, but it’s easier than wasting your time or your life and missing the blessings of God forever. Waiting on God, though difficult but easy, saves us from wandering about, wasting our time, or working against the will of God, just simply wait, and if we patiently wait till the end, we shall receive the abundant blessings of God beyond human understanding.

When God keeps telling you “WAIT”, though it seems difficult, boring or late, but there is no other way to experience the abundant blessings and fulfillment of God’s promises for your life than to wait on Him to the end.

So What Happens?
What happen if a Christian fails the test of little or waiting? It means that Christian will miss or forfeit the blessings of God either temporally or permanently, depending.

May we not miss the blessings of God for our lives in Jesus name.

THE RE-APPOINTMENT OF DISAPPOINTMENT OF LIFE
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

I was in several relationships before I eventually met my wife, some of these relationship ended up in disappointment, but at the end God turned the disappointment into re-appointment. The same thing has happened in other aspects of my life, terrible disappointments which eventually turned to be a blessing and better re-appointment. That exactly the promises of God for us His children, He said that all things work together for our good, including those disappointments that come your way now, God is working on them to make them re-appointments of blessings.

As long we love the Lord, we need not to be so disturbed by any disappointments that come our way. Yes some disappointments are so painful and unexpectedly that shake us, but when we have it at the back of our mind that God is at work, working to bring good and better thing out of the terrible situations we face, we will not be so disturbed or weakened.

Whichever or wherever disappointment that comes our way, while Satan and his agents are busy working disappointment on our ways, while human beings are busy working disappointments on our way, God is laughing at them, working something good and better for us behind. And so behind every disappointment along the way of every child of God is a better re-appointment from God. Take note from today.

Too bad?
Sometimes we wonder why would God allow situation to get too bad before He would intervene, we even think our situation might have gone too bad that no testimony can sweetably come out from it. But the truth is that no matter how worst our situation is or we think it is, God can always work wonder from the worst situation. When we are so worried that we think God cannot work wonder from our worst situation, it only means our faith is weak, not our God.

You Have Got To Answer This Question
“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32. The question from this Bible passage is, if God could bring wonderful things from the most terrible thing that ever happened in the history of the world – the condemnation of the only ever sinless Man on earth and His dead on the cross, then how will He not bring good things from your worst situation as His child?

As long we love God with all our heart, He will always make EVERYTHING to work together for our good. But Satan will want to discourage us to deny or delete our love for God because of hard situation we are passing through, he will want to paint God as wicked as if God does not care for us or our situation has gone beyond repair, whereas he knows God is working some things great for us. Beloved, don’t be deceived by Satan. God is working everything for your good. No matter the situation, you should always have it at the back of your mind, that as long you still love God with all your heart, He will never work against you, but for your good, He will never disappoint you and He will always make all things to work together for your good, including the efforts of your enemies, when they think they are working against you, God forces them to work together for your good.

Too Late?
What you need to know when your expected blessing gets too late is that God wants to make it the latest, so don’t settle for the less and don't lose your long-time relationship with God.

What Of My Mistakes, Sins And Errors Of The Past?
This is one of the mysteries and multiple wonders in Christianity, that God makes our past mistake, sinful lifestyle and errors to work together for good of our present live in Jesus Christ. Here is the word of God, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. All the wrongs choices of your past, the sinful and wasteful lifestyle of your past, even the loss of your past God miraculously use them to work together for your good in your new life in Jesus Christ.

So you can see that all we need to do is to love God in Christ and remain in the Love of God, in living to please and serve Him, because when we love God, we have nothing to lose, when we love God with all our heart, we will not loss together with this world, but everything will work together for our good.

God led me today to speak comfort to His children, and as long you are a child of God, totally surrendered to His word and will, and you are having sorrow or situation of hardship, I pray everything should begin to work together for your good in JESUS NAME. Amen

WHAT IS VAIN REPETITION IN PRAYER?
“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” Matthew 6:7

Jesus Christ directed us not to involve vain repetitions in our prayers, and so what is vain repetition? Does it means praying long prayer or saying a word or statement repeatedly? Does it means asking God something more than once in our prayer, even though we have not received it? NO, vain repetition is none of the above. Vain repetition is more serious, subtle, and deceptive. There is different between “vain repetition” and “repetition”. Jesus did not not say we should not repeat or re-emphasize in our prayers, He did not oppose repetition, but only vain repetition.

Vain repetition comes in various ways which many of us get involved unknowingly. Jesus said, “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.” This shows that vain repetitions were originally the act of the heathen, the people who worshiped false gods and the religious people.

Here are some vain repetitions:

FAITH IN PRAYER
The heathens’ faith is hinged on their prayer, believing the answers to their prayers are determined by their prayer, "For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” Matthew 6:7 The heathen keep repeating in pain, hoping their gods will consider how they suffer themselves, and answer them. Let’s see example from the Bible: 1 kings 18:26-28, “So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made. 27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.”

In Christianity, our faith does not depend on our prayer but on the God who answers prayer. Christ did not teach us to put our faith in our prayer, but in God that answers prayer; He said we should even believe God’s answers before we prayer. So, “It is not by power, neither by might, but by My Spirit” says the Lord. Using candle, water, anointing oil, handkerchief or other stuffs to pray is an act of the heathen; the scripture directs us to pray only in the name of Jesus Christ and believe God for answer, simple! Anything apart from that is extra-biblical phenomenon. There is nothing called special prayer, special man of God for speedy answer or special place to pray in the teaching of Jesus Christ; running from mountains to meetings, traveling from far distance to a program for special prayer is an act of the heathen.

We can travel far distance to hear the Word of God that will help our spiritual lives, and we can travel far distance to do the work of God, but not for special prayer or to meet special man of God who will help us pray to God. When you become a child of God, and living your life to please Him, you have access to God through the name of Jesus Christ, without intermediary. Only the heathen, unbelievers or unserious Christians need somebody to help them present their requests to God. As children of God, we can pray for one another and pray together, but not presenting our prayers to another person to pray to God on our behalf. Giving a minister money for prayer, paying money or making vow before prayer are unscriptural.

PRAYER WITHOUT FAITH
This is common in the lives of many Christians today, we pray as routine, just to pray because we are Christians, without faith in God for the prayer, without expectation for the prayer. Prayer without faith is in vain. We pray because we serve God that answers prayer, who delights in our prayer. Prayer is an exciting activity because God listens and answers, but when prayer becomes boring to you, it means you do not have faith that God listens or will answer your prayer.The fact that God delays to answer some of your demands does not means He is denying you or He does not delight in you; God is only doing great things on your behalf that will daze many who will later hear your testimony. If you have the knowledge that whenever you pray, heaven stands still, that God is waiting for the sweet smelling of your prayer, you will look forward to praying, and not look warm in prayer. Jesus did not ask us to pray for the sake of praying as a Christian routine, but He asks us to pray so that we can receive.

John 16:24, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Praying without expectation is a vain repetition; until you are expectant, you have asked nothing.

PRAYER WITHOUT OBEDIENCE
Obedience to God is more important than prayer to God. When you ignore to obey God’s word, and you keep praying, it means you are doing vain repetitions. Maybe you suppose to repent and confess your sin, but you ignore that and keep praying for God’s mercy, such prayer is vain repetition. Some people commit sins, and instead of them to open up, confess to God and the necessary people, they keep praying for forgiveness and mercy – they are doing VAIN repetition. We can only receive mercy when we confess and forsake our sins. Proverbs 28:13. When the Spirit of God is leading you to open up your covered sin or to do restitution, but you refuse to obey, and you keep praying for mercy, mercy; you are only doing vain repetition. Obedience is better than sacrifice!

Maybe you are living in sin, living with sinful partner, doing a sinful business, working at an ungodly place, using fake document, age or you are benefiting from your past sin; then the Word of God is warning you to forsake the sins and forfeit the sinful benefits and surrender all to God, but instead of you to simply obey, you remain in the sinful thing and you keep fasting and praying for God’s mercy. Such prayer is a waste of time and a vain repetition. Some even go to the extend of giving huge amount of money and time for God’s work, thinking God will consider that and overlook their disobedience; they are ignorant that God cannot be bribed by fasting, long prayer or sacrifices. Obedience to God’s word is more important than prayer and fasting, than sowing or giving for God’s work. Your pastors or your church can accept your gifts and pray for you, but you are not at peace with your Creator until you simply obey.

Matthew 5:23, 24, “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

Prayer should be made continuously without ceasing. In any particular request, we should keep asking, reminding God until our joy is full - that is faith repetition not vain repetition. Keep the Word of God in total obedience, keep the faith, and keep praying until your joy is full.

John 14:13-16:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.

SECRET SINS & CONSEQUENCES
Who commit sins and who carry the punishment?

Romans 2:16, "In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel."

Every secret sin will attract serious judgment of God at the end. And the question is, "What is a secret sins" Or "Which sin is secret?"

Any sin you are hiding from men, keeping it secret, is simply a secret sin. When it says "secret", it doesn't mean keeping it secret from God, since nothing is secret or hidden before God; but keeping it secret from necessary people has made it a secret sin. Hiding your past or immediate sin from people that ought to know is a secret sin that awaits the serious judgment of God. On the other hand, to open up a sin does not mean the whole world must hear or you must tell everyone in your life or everyone you come across, no. It means you don't keep it secret from necessary people that you need to open up to, even if it is your past life. Necessary people may be your marital partner, your spouse, your parents, your pastors, Christian partners like prayer partners and close brethren. The necessary people may your family member or your children. When a child of God falls into sin, after confessing to God, he or she needs to confess to one another as the case may be. In the body of Christ, confessing to one another depends on the person's position in the church. A member may only need to confess to close brethren, immediate leader and pastor; a leader will need to confess to close brethren and the pastor, and the pastor will notify the necessary people. A pastor will need to confess to the brethren, or the whole church as the case may be.

Who Carries The Consequences?
When a Christian confesses his sin to necessary people, he has nothing to lose since he has repented and decided never to go back into such sin again, and because God has forgiven him; so confessing to necessary people brings no shame but God's blessings. But there is something very important which we really need to look into. When a brother or sister confesses their sins to one another, they humble themselves for God to honor them, so they are totally free from such sin and no more consequence, now or later. But the issue is that, the people who hear the confessions or who they inform about the sins need to be very careful, so as not to carry the load of those sins on their own heads. When somebody confesses sin to you as a result of his rededicated Christian life, you must not hold it against the person, you must not reproach the person, and you must not disregard or disrespect the person. Why? Because the person who confesses his past or a particular sin to you does that to honor God's word, so if you despise, you are not actually despising the person but God whom the person honors his word.

Let's look at a story from the Bible:
2 Samuel 6:14-17, " Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart."

Verses 20-23, "Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. 22 And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.” Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death."

Michal despised King David because he humbled himself before God, because he honored God; and the consequence of her action was life barrenness. When people open up about their past to you, if it is personal to you, you need to forgive them and forget about it; if it is in the body of Christ, you must respect them and counsel them rightly. Do not reproach or despise people when they open up about their past or immediate sins. The mystery is that, the person who repents and confesses will be free from that sin, no matter how terrible, but the person who hears and refuses to forgive or who reproaches will carry the whole consequences of the sin and will be seen as sinner before God.

The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 5: 22 that we should not partake in another man's sin. One of the various means of partaking in another man's sin is by hearing and despising, gossiping or spreading it to other person. How will someone else commit sin and you will be the person to carry the punishment? We should be very careful. If you refuse to forgive somebody because they open up to you, you urgently need to freely forgive, and when you forgive, you need to forget about it; if you have despised people in the body of Christ because they open up, you need to repent and ask for God's forgiveness.

Why is it that Nigeria has many richest pastors in the world like Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, etc. and also Nigeria has many most expensive and big church buildings like the new Deeper Life Church auditorium, Winners Canaan land, etc. and we don't have something like biggest free Library, school, hospital, industries, and we are still one of the poorest countries with the richest pastor and biggest and most beautiful church auditorium?

Maybe your sincere, non-sentimental answer will help the coming generation.

THE ERROR OF ONCE EXPERIENCE OF SANCTIFICATION
Do you know that the doctrine of once saved is saved forever is erroneous? The same thing is applicable to once sanctified is sanctified forever.

For several years I was in a church where we were taught that sanctification is an instantaneous experience, that a person would experience once just like salvation experience, that you will know when, where and how it happened, and that settles it. So you can move on and add that to your spiritual CV that you were saved in 1994 and got sanctified 1995, more than 20 years ago, where the adamic nature, tendency of sin is completely rooted away. This sounds nice but it’s not biblically real, and it has more negative implications than the positive.

Then I saw people giving testimonies of their 20 years’ experience of sanctification, they believe they have been sanctified completely, no need for daily sanctification, and yet there begin some traces of sins in their lives like gossip, backbiting, anger, envy, jealousy, lust, etc. yet they see no reason to ask God to sanctify their heart again because they have already been sanctified 20 years ago; Somebody who believes he has been completely sanctified 10 years ago will not mention forgiveness of sin or ask God to sanctify him daily while praying because he believes only “sinners” ask for forgiveness of sins and cleansing now and then, but yet he still he makes mistakes, he still sin in words, in thought and action, but he has no reason to pray for forgiveness or daily sanctification, what an erroneous belief! This is when hypocrisy becomes heart’s hardened.

What Is Sanctification Really?
Sanctification is becoming more like Jesus every day by prayer, reading and meditating God’s and being watchful. It’s not what you have become 10 years ago.

What are the differences of Doctrines of Instantaneous, once sanctification and daily sanctification?

1, When we see sanctification as daily experience where we become more like Jesus every day, we will have room to grow daily, unlike if we believe we have been sanctified years back.

2, When we see sanctification as daily, we will be humble to search our lives daily and ready to correct, unlike if we believe one sanctification of yester-years.

3, A daily sanctification believer knows that no matter how he was sanctified yesterday, he will still need to pray for sanctification today and watch.

4, A daily sanctification believer will not find his heart hardened and will have no room for hypocrisy, because no matter what mistakes or sins he makes yesterday, he can be more like Jesus today, so no need to defend himself in error or prove himself.

5, The doctrine of once instantaneous sanctification hardens heart in hypocrisy.

6, Daily self-examination is useless if we don't believe in daily sanctification or how will you pray that God should sanctify you on what you examine? That is the reason there are more hypocrites among those who believe in once, instantaneous sanctification because they see no reason for daily sanctification.

If you ask me, “Are sanctified?” I will answer, “Yes”. And if you ask further, “So when were you sanctified?” I will answer you, “This morning” If you ask tomorrow, I will give same answer. Daily sanctification gives more grace for us to search our lives, humble ourselves and grow daily. We are being sanctified daily, not once, instantaneous of 20 years ago. “For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren” Hebrews 2:11.

Jesus Christ has perfected the work of our sanctification on the cross of Calvary once, but we need to access it daily for perfect Christian life. “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:14. Don’t just go for sanctification once no matter your experience, go for it daily.

Why We Need Daily Sanctification
If you put a frame on the wall or your TV sets, no matter how clean they are in an air-conditioned room, after some time, there will be dust on them. The same thing is applicable in our Christian life. We are living in a polluted world, even if we keep ourselves away from pollution of the world, we need sanctification daily – that is daily prayer for sanctification, daily reading of Bible and daily watchfulness.

May the Lord sanctify us within and without and keep us watchful and vigilant in Jesus name!

BY PURPOSEFUL DETERMINATION
Are you finding yourself falling into repeated sin or into one addicted sin or the other, and yet you have genuinely rededicated your life to Jesus and have determined not to go back into such sin and but still you do. It’s either your re-dedication is not genuine or your determination is not strong enough. You know what it means to rededicate your life to Jesus? It means to repent and re-confess all your sins and forsake them and determine to serve God without looking back.

Now, why do we look back into the sin again after a genuine repentance? It’s because our determination to serve God is not strong ENOUGH. You want to know how I make that conclusion? Now, let’s look at it this way: For example, you have been falling back into masturbation now and then. Now if you see about 10 Christians who have committed masturbation and drop dead immediately and you are told that anyone who by chance or by mistake masturbates will die immediately, please will you still commit the masturbation? No matter the feeling and the pressure, will you? That is what the Bible says in Hebrews 12:4, “You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.” The New Life Version says, “In your fight against sin, you have not yet had to stand against sin with your blood.” That is what it means, “You have not yet resisted or fight against sin” with strong determine of life or dead, that is the reason you still fall back into that sin after several confessions and repentance.

Until you make a strong determination of life or death, you will still be falling back into that sin no matter who pray for you, how many time you confess or repent.

IS HAVING TV A SIN?
I remember many years ago in Deeper Life Bible Church, that members were instructed not to have TV at home because it was a Satan’s box. As it’s now, I’m not saying Television itself is a sin, because we can use it with our video player to watch Christian movies, but I don’t see how right it would be using it to watch TV stations or many of these channels. We have a TV in our family but we only use it with our DVD player to watch Christian movies, we don’t connect it to any TV station and we are not subscribing to any cable or satellite TV. I don’t know how safe you will keep yourself from the pollution on air when you open your TV to any TV stations; the music and movies are controlled by the gods of this world – the god of the spirit of lust that many of these musicians worship, the spirit of worldliness, worldly styles and disobedience that are being imparted into the lives of many people especially the children and youth.

Many Christians say having their TV connected to TV stations or subscribing to cable TV is not wrong, that they can control what they watch, but here I’m not talking about what you can, but what you have be able to do, how far have you and your family, including your children, been really able to control what you have been watching on those TV stations? How far?

Many Christians are using their money to pay for the pollution of their souls; when you subscribe your TV with such as DSTV, and you are loaded with several channels, you are creating temptations for yourself and children at home to have a look at those satanically polluted stations like 24/7 worldly movies, African Magic, Hollywood, Nollywood or those Indian movies, or those evil programs like American idols, BBNaija, ultimate search, etc. If you are a Christian and you freely watch any of those things, you need deliverance of repentance.

THE GREAT COMMISSION OF BUILDING PROJECTS
If you have a call into the ministry, the first thing you need to watch against is several satanic distractions which the older ministers ahead of us are falling into. The purpose of my messages is not to criticize or condemn as some people ignorantly assumed, but to correct and warn the generations coming behind not to fall into such errors and mistakes.

Everyday, God is calling people, people are starting ministries from different part of the world. The Lord leads me to warn and also to beware not to fall into such errors along the way.

The devil is exchanging the Great Commission with many earthly, non-eternal values for the church today, and many ministers and ministries are falling victims, including those who stood against it before.

One of the satanic fatal exchange to Great Commission is incessant non- stop building projects. They saw need to build, expand, pull down and build another one, because they have millions of members gathering together in one place.

But do you know that it's not even biblical necessary and right for the church to be gathering millions of members together in a place?

The church has no need to gather the whole members to a place that would cause the traffic and need to expand and rebuild in the first instant. The mega church or mega service concept is extra-biblical phenomenon which started in America in early 1950s. The Apostles never did that, they never gathered all disciples to Jerusalem or to a single place, they were going from one local church to another, even without fast means of transportation, without digital TV that transfers live messages and programs from headquarters, yet they fulfilled their ministries and the disciples increased and were united. But today, the church has live transmission satellite, yet they would still need to gather millions of people together in one place again.

This is satanic distraction. When a church builds a local church, they still build a local headquarters church, they will still build state headquarters church; the church builds a local camp meeting, a state camp meeting, a national camp meeting. The church would build a local secretariat, a state secretariat, a national secretariat and international secretariat or conference center.

Now, please sincerely answer the following questions:

(1) Is the great commission Jesus gave to the church all about building projects?

(2) There are projects like mission project, children project, welfare project, etc. which of these projects the church is embarking on today that cost the church more money than building project? Please answer if you know.

(3) Do you know that the church spends more on building than welfare of the people who worship inside the building?

(4) Do you know that many churches today spend more on building than spending for mission work?

(5) Do you know that church spends more on building project than providing free Christian materials that will grow believers - such as free Bible, free Hymn books, free Christian music, free Christian movies?

(6) Do you know that church building project is the most wasted project among any organizations in the world? A project that cost billions to build and it's only used once a week or once a month?

(7) Do you realize that this generation of churches have fallen into error and distraction from the pit of hell of incessant building projects and should God not lead anyone to warn and charge coming generation of churches and ministries not to fall into such error?

Let's repent because all those buildings cannot stand the test of fire on the judgment day. Jesus never commissioned disciples to make building project to the uttermost part of the world, but to makes disciples; when we now focus on building projects than the welfare and well-being of the disciples, it means things are wrong. Jesus never commanded incessant building project as part of the Great Commission, the apostles never commanded or commissioned building project even with large numbers of disciples, and our contemporary fathers of faith never focused on building projects as it's today.

Let's humble ourselves and repent.

I CAN'T COLLECT IT!
Early this month, I was invited to minister somewhere in Lagos, after the program, food was packed in a take-away for me as food was served for everyone in the program, I collected the food and as I was about to leave, one of their leaders approached me and presented an envelop to me containing cash, I smiled and said, "Sorry, I don't take such." He objected that I couldn't refuse it because he was instructed to do so. I told him to he would need to go back to those who instructed him that I'm sorry I can't take it.

Does that makes it wrong, as a minister of the gospel to collect honorarium? As a matter of fact, I spent money even to transport myself to the program, went there with a private taxi, and as the program ended a taxi also came to pick me to where I stayed at my brother's house in Lagos.

No, it's not wrong for a minister of God to collect honorarium as long that is not his focus, but it is wrong for a minister of God like me to collect it. The reason being that God has given me a source of income, a business, to take care of my work of ministry. Before I entered there to minister, I answered business calls, and as I went into the program, silenced my phone, several calls from customers were waiting for me, so would I still collect money for ministering? It would not only be bad but also barbaric.

As a minister of gospel, if God blesses you with a good job or business, do you still need to sell your ministrations and collect every money offered to you for ministration? Such is wrong.

It's always baffles me when I see our multimillionaire preachers still selling their CDs and books, yet they claim no man can enrich them and their blessings are supernatural, but they sell everything and collect every money and still tax even the youth and unemployed in their churches.

Godliness with contentment is a great gain. I am not here to be rich but to richly bless lives.

"Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

THE REDEEMED CHURCH AND GOD ON OPPOSITE PATHS

A proverb in Nigeria says, "When a plantain is spoiling, we say no, it is only ripping well" An unripe plantain is rich and contains several nutrients, and when it begins to ripe, it looses its nutrients and could cause health damages, but then it becomes finer, and sweeter; it becomes more presentable and attractive. The same thing is applicable with RCCG and many churches today. But the focus is on RCCG here. The founder of this church, Rev. Akindayomin, a man of holiness and righteousness, God called him and gave him a covenant church, that is Redeemed Christian Church of God - RCCG.

Then the church was unpopular because of its strict stand on holiness and righteousness. They were called "Gospel church" those who preached holiness and stood for it. They were not after materials stuffs, their sisters dressed godly, not flamboyantly, all of them were content with little and sharing with all.When their choir ministered, people bowed their heads in sober mood by the heavenly touch of the singing ministration, not like the jumping, shouting and crazy yelling with entertainment choir of today. Then companies were writing the church for employment because of the faithfulness and diligence of their members. I would not have joined them because of their standard of holiness since I was not saved then. That was the RCCG I knew when I was in Ilesha, Osun state in 1989 to early 90s.

But today, RCCG is more popular, richer and everywhere, in fact, they are proud of their parishes in every corner of Nigeria and many other countries, they are the fastest and still growing church, beautiful auditoriums everywhere. In Abuja here where I live, RCCG is like the richest church. But where are their godly virtues of old? They have exchanged their spiritual riches for materials and financial riches, they boast of financial riches while they are spiritually miserable. I lived in Redemption camp for full 6 months in 2010, and with what I saw in the dept of RCCG - the corruption, sexual immorality, unfaithfulness, etc. among the core leaders to the least members, I can categorically say this church is spiritually poor. A church where a music director wanted to sleep with a sister choir before permitting her to sing praise and worship at the Holy Ghost night? And God cannot open the eyes of the GO to discern or detect sins among people close to him and rebuke it openly as Apostle Peter did in Acts chapter 5, the GO can only discern blessings and upcoming prosperity?

Why has RCCG changed to opposite of where they stood before? Or why did Pastor Adeboye changed the landmark God gave to Rev. Akindayomin, which he upheld till he died? And you, you who were saved and brought up in the old faith when you were young, in secondary school and university fellowships, now you have joined the modern church system and worldly dress and have abandoned your beginning, seeing it as old school?

The Bible standard has gone elsewhere because of crave for population. If you are a member, worker or leader in RCCG, how many messages or books of Rev. Akindayomin do you have or have you read or listen to? Maybe none! RCCG is the only church where materials and works of the immediate past GO is evacuated almost completely. As if the books and messages of their founder who also was the immediate past leader were totally removed. None of his books or messages are promoted or reprinted, at least for every member to have access to the teachings and messages of the founder of their church. This present GO and admins will never do that, you know why? Their lifestyles, prayers and preachings are opposite the messages and standard of Rev. Akindayomin, so they CAN NEVER PROMOTE THE MESSAGES OR BOOKS of Pa Akindayomin in their present spiritual condition. Do you know any church on earth where the messages and books of the church founder and immediate past General Overseer is completely eradicated from the same church with no trace? Only in RCCG.

If God should open the eyes of Pa Akindayomin in heaven to see the church he left on earth, he will be weeping now, so also heaven is weeping on RCCG. But you are celebrating RCCG as a successful church, popular and powerful even to Aso villa here in Abuja.

The case of Pa Akindayomin and Pastor Adeboye is like the case of David and Solomon in the Bible. David fought the good fight of Faith, so also did Pa Akindayomin - we know how Pa Akindayomin started and how he ended well. But Solomon did no fighting, rather he did many buildings, from building Temple of God, to his personal buildings, to several idols, even to Chemosh - incessant building project is one of the signs of backsliding in any church. Solomon had many things, many wives, many riches, etc. just as there are many buildings and many members today in RCCG.

You must be happy of being a member or pastor of RCCG, especially if you did not witness the RCCG of old; because there is freedom, prosperity and promises and better life. No stress of holiness, no discipline of indecent dress, no restitution, everything is bureaucracy, and as long you can comply with the rules and regulations, you have no limit. But that will lead to where?

This is not the covenant church God used His servant Rev. Akindayomin to found, this is not the same church I knew in 1990, this is not the church of the Bible. Today, I will find it hard to join RCCG, not because of their high standard of holiness again, but because of their low and poor standard of holiness.

You can be very zealous to condemn this article, to choose to defend your GO rather than defending the truth. If you were not in RCCG about 20 years ago, then you may lack understanding of the beginning of RCCG, go and ask the elders who witnessed the beginning and strength of RCCG as a true covenant church of undiluted truth and holiness of heavenly minded church.

If you know where God began with you, where God was pleased with you that He made COVENANT with you, then that may help you to know where you have missed it along the way, and where you need to trace you way back. God is waiting for you at the point He made covenant with you, and same thing with Pastor Adeboye and RCCG as a whole. Go back to the old faith, the narrow old path of FEW serious minded, and stop defending this broad MULTITUDE, MANY faulty modern way before it is too late. The Rapture of the saints is imminent!

"Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and Unclad— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.Therefore be zealous and repent." A Christian brother was discussing with me about a vibrant Christian woman in Living Faith Church (Winner's Chapel) and I told him that it's not possible to be a genuine child of God or minister of God and comfortably attending Winner's chapel or any other similar churches who exalts worldliness above godliness, who cares for popularity than purity, who preaches more about earthly riches than heavenly riches and who focus more on your physical well-being than your spiritual well-being; who don't believe in restitution, who seldom talking about rapture and holiness of life.

No heavenly minded Christian will ever feel at home in a worldly church, and you know what the Bible instructs children of God to do about such worldly and satanic churches? "....From such withdraw yourself." 1 Timothy 6:5

If you have been attending such worldly and earthly minded church, after you give your life to Jesus, you must withdraw from such churches if not, you are staying at your soul's risk and danger.

"Useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself." 1 Timothy 6:5

SELF DENYING IN CHRISTIAN LIFE
“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23.

It’s not possible to follow Jesus Christ without denying yourself, because your “self” and Jesus are opposite, both want to rule and reign in you, but both can’t reign in the same life at the same time, you can only have one master. It’s either your “SELF” will be your lord or you allow Jesus as your Lord.

Salvation is the beginning of genuine Christian life with Christ
Jesus, but not the end, it is the commencement of a journey, not a conclusion; your continuity determines your eventual destiny. Many Christians are making a costly mistake, thinking everything is settled after they repent and get saved, so they relax, not knowing that salvation is to start a race of battle and forces for heavenly kingdom; such Christians relax and eventually revert back into their old sinful lifestyles.

Jesus Christ told His saved disciples, “if anyone desires to come after Me” This means Jesus has gone to glory in heaven, and if any one desires to come after HIM into the same glory, then He said, “let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” Luke 9:23. Today, we will share about the first aspect, “let him deny himself.”

After you are saved in Christ Jesus, old sinful nature and notion will not completely vanish, your self still remains unsaved and it will always want to pull you back into old life of sin. Our “self” serves as a channel by which Satan tries to overpower the Spirit of God in us. This “self” remain unchanged with our bodies, and inspired by the kingdom of hell to pull us back into sin. James 3:6, “…..and it is set on fire by hell”

After you are genuinely saved, that is not all, you then start to deny your self, or else your self will reign in your life. Those preachers and churches who preach “cash and carry” gospel and make fire brigade altar call of “Just confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Savior, that is all” such preachers are misguided end time false preachers. After your salvation, you must deny yourself daily, if not, your salvation will be lost and you will go back into your old sins.

You must crucify your self or you will keep crucifying Jesus again by putting Him to open shame, when you go back into sin. Hebrews 6:6, “if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.”

Barabbas Or Jesus?
“Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?” Matthew 27:17.

After you repent and confess your sins and become saved by the Blood of Jesus, you need to still make a serious decision, which will determine your destiny: Who do you want to let live in your life, Barabbas or Jesus? Barabbas represents your old sinful lifestyle and nature; your “Self” or Jesus Christ? Somebody must live and somebody must be crucified. You have the choice to make, and it is on daily basis, “who do you want to let live and reign in your life, and who do you want to crucify?

When you allow your self to reign in you by falling into any form of sin, then you are crucifying Jesus again in your life. On the other way, when you deny your self from giving in to sin, it means you are crucifying yourself and allowing Jesus to live and reign in your life. It is simultaneous.

How To Deny Self
Our identity with Christ comes clear when we deny our “self”, and our heaven is sure at the same time then. After we are saved, self will come again, it is still there. The tendency to commit sin will always come again. For example, the tendency to masturbate will come, it will overwhelm you as if you can’t but do it, but no, you can deny it, as long you don’t aid it or give in to it; the pressure will fade away and you have won in Christ. You need to know that the coming of the tendency to sin in your mind is not a sin except you give in to it. The tendency to get angry will come, the tendency to have sexual immorality, to lie and so on; the feeling will be overwhelming, but all you need is to deny it – by refusing and rejecting it. When you calm down and refuse, the overwhelming feeling will recede.

The more you deny those sinful tendencies, the more you become stronger in Christ and your old self becomes weaker. But when you give in once again, then you crucify Jesus and the sinful self is energized in you. That is how many Christians rise and fall. Though when the sinful tendency feeling comes, as it is overwhelming as if we should give in, but we must constantly deny it by calming down and rejecting the tendency. After you overcome the sinful tendency, don’t relax, it will soon come again, keep watching, praying and be at alert always.

Do not think tendency to get angry, to masturbate or commit a
particular sin will not come back simply because you overcome yesterday, the battle continues, the race proceeds and the grace of God is abounding.

This does not comes easily, it does not come by our power and
self-determination, New Year Resolution, Transcendental Meditation or any religious ritual; to deny our sinful self and reject sinful tendency, we must first have genuine salvation in Christ Jesus, that is the foundation. You surrender your life to Jesus genuinely by repenting and confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord, you can also rededicate your life to Jesus if you have been falling and rising, so as to start better.

Then to deny our “self” on daily basis, we must pray and read Bible daily. We pray for God’s grace to deny ungodliness and worldly lust.

Titus 2:11, 12, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has
appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age”

We pray for strength to reject sinful tendencies, and we read Bible torefresh and grow in the Spirit. Without daily prayer and Bible reading, it is not possible for you to deny yourself. Christians who are too lazy or busy to observe daily Bible reading, at least 2 chapters, and daily prayer at least 1 hour, are those Christians who always rise and fall, always fervent and frivolous, always forward and backward in the Spirit. Your prayer must center on your Christian life first, for grace and help of God, before you pray for provision or any earthly blessing.

Make the right decision to dedicate or rededicate your life to Jesus fully and better, and determine to deny and discipline your old sinful self and tendency every day, every minutes – Watch!

WHEN HEAVEN OPENS
2 Kings 7:19, “Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?”

Open heaven has become a common topic in Christianity and Churches today, several church programs are titled “Open heaven” , books, devotions and others are tagged with “Open heaven”. Many Christians even pray the prayer of open heaven, asking God to open their heavens. But it seems that much as many people delight in open heaven, only few people really understand what it means for heaven to open.

From Genesis to Revelation, there were occurrences of the experience of heaven or windows of heaven being opened. In the Bible, there are promises and predictions of open heaven by God, since He is the only One who has the keys to open heaven. From the light of the Bible, open heaven brings two things, meaning, when heaven opens, either of the two things – blessing or judgment. What we receive when heaven opens depends on us, on the way we have been responding to the word of God. Open heaven is not an automatic blessing or synonymous to blessing; open heaven can bring you abundant blessing or abundant judgment, depending on you.

OPEN HEAVEN OF JUDGMENT
Genesis 7:11, 12, “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.”

The first experience of open heaven in the history of the world was during the time of Noah, this open heaven was not a pleasant one, because it did not bring blessing, but fierce judgment upon the disobedient. After the generation turned wicked before God and refused to repent and obey God, then God opened heaven and poured rain of judgment for forty days and forty nights. There can be rain of blessing and also rain of judgment when heaven opens. This first open heaven experience on earth destroyed the whole generation except Noah and his household.

Another experience of open heaven after Noah was also an open heaven of judgment. God rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 19:24, 25, “ Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.”

It is a good thing to pray for open heaven, but it is better to first open up your heart to God in total obedience before you wish heaven opens on you. Open heaven of God without open heart to God brings judgment of God.

Believing God’s word leads to obedience to God’s word, and that leads to blessing abundantly. But on the other hand, disbelieving God’s word brings disobedience to God’s word, which leads to judgment of God.

In the time of Elisha when there was a severe famine, king Joram’s right-hand man disbelieved and scoffed God’s word when Elisha said there would be plenty of food within 24 hours. This officer would not believe and trust God’s word for open heaven of blessing, so he experienced judgment from the open heaven; while others feasted, he was trampled to death. 2 Kings 7:17, 18.

God said, ““This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Hear Him!” There are two commandments of God from this statement: 1, Accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, Savior of the world. 2, Obey Jesus Christ, meaning surrender your life to Him and live to please Him in godliness, righteousness and truth.

Failure to obey both will only lead to judgment of God. If you reject Jesus as the Savior, you are destined for God’s judgment; if you refuse to surrender your total life to Jesus in holiness after you have known Him as the Savior, you are doomed for eternal judgment of God.

Isaiah 24:18, “And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.”

OPEN HEAVEN OF BLESSING
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today…… The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:1, 12

The windows of heaven can open and pour blessings upon us when we trust and obey God. Trusting God for what He says, and obeying what He says are the only means by which we can experience blessing when heaven opens. Obedience to God’s word always attract blessing from heaven. When a Christian prays, “Father, let my heaven open” if such Christian is living against God’s word and disobeying God’s commands, though heaven will surely open, because he demands for it, but it will only bring judgment. When we read God’s promises of open heaven, there is always commands attached to it, it is when such commands from God are obeyed that heaven will pour down blessing.

Malachi 3:10, “……And try Me now in this,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.”

In the Book of Malachi, God promised open heaven on the condition of obedience to His Word - trusting God with our money and paying out tithes. But this is not the only condition of experiencing open heaven, there are more weightier commandments of God than paying tithes, so if someone pays his tithes but does not live a righteous and holy life, the open heaven will not bring blessing. There were group of people in the Bible who were faithfully paying tithes but they were unfaithful in pleasing God, and so they were condemned.

Matthew 23:23, ““Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.”

If you fulfill the righteousness of paying tithes but fail to fulfill the righteousness of presenting yourself as a holy and living sacrifice, then your tithes and offerings are baseless.
Jesus Christ experienced open heavens in His earthly ministry after He fulfilled all righteousness.

Matthew 3:15-17, “But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Open heaven brings blessing when we obey God’s word and fulfill His will.

THE ULTIMATE OPEN HEAVEN
There have been several open heavens since the beginning of this world, but there is an ultimate open heaven coming upon the whole world. This will serve as grand finale open heaven, Jesus Christ and His angelic armies will stream into the world. As open heaven brings blessing and judgment, so it will be at this ultimate open heaven. There will first be open heaven of rapture for the obedient children of God, and then another open heaven of second coming of Jesus Christ for judgment on the disobedient.

Revelation 19:11, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”

Like the people in the time of Noah, many are scoffing and disbelieving this upcoming great event, so they have no reason to obey and prepare. Apostle Peter warned about such people:
“knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:3-7

You will not have cause to obey God’s word and keep yourself pure if you do not believe that Jesus is coming soon to take His obedient children to a blessed heaven, and to judge the sinners and careless Christians into eternal damnation. You may also echo with the king’s officer in 2 Kings 7:19 that, “even if the Lord should open windows of heavens, could this happens?” How can it be possible that this beautiful world will be thrown into hell fire? How can God pour billions of people into hell fire? Unbelievable! This sounds like a joke. That was how it seemed like joke to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.

When the angels of God instructed Lot to warn the Sodomites that God would soon open the windows of heaven and rain fire and brimstone on them, it was like a joke. “So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.” Genesis 19:14.

It was a matter of time, the joke became reality to them, but too late to repent. Genesis 19:24, 25, “Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.”

On the other hand, many people who believe in the rapture and second coming of Jesus are carelessly unprepared, thinking it will not happen soon, and so they will be caught unprepared like the 5 foolish virgins.

You should not be another victim of unbelief for destruction, it is better to learn from the history and be wise. God has made Jesus Christ to be an atonement for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus is coming back again to justify His obedient saints and judge the disobedient sinners. For the obedient believers, the coming of Jesus will bring so much blessing that we “will not have room enough for it” But for the unbelievers and careless Christians, it will bring utter ruin and misery that will be so much unbearable. Matthew 13:42, 43 “And will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

If you are part of the unbelievers who reject Jesus as their Lord, you are in a dangerous team. And also if you are part of Christians who do not believe in holiness, without which no one will see God, if you think no need for restitution after salvation, if you think there is no need for total holiness and righteousness, then you are in serious danger; if you are part of the prosperity Christians who do not see purity of life as necessity for believer, if you are part of the Christians who believe in grace without holiness, who believe in claiming righteousness without living righteous, then you are part of the end time scoffers of holiness and godliness for God’s judgment.

If you gave a false information of your age or any other thing to get job, gain admission, get contract or to travel abroad, you know what? no matter how faithfully you pay your tithes, give to ministers or spend for God's work, you are on your way to eternal damnation except you repent, confess and ready to let go. Have you counted the cost?

If you lied to your spouse, cheated on your spouse and you cover up till now, I don't know how devoted you are to the things of God but you are still a candidate of hell fire except you repent and open up now!

If you have ever borrowed money without paying it back, if you have owed school fees of yourself or your children and you left without paying, if you have owed house rent and left without settling it, if you have left a rented apartment with your unpaid utility bill such as electricity bill, etc. and you think "by gone is by gone" My beloved, it is more than that. Nothing is by gone except it's settle, they can stand against your progress in life and stand against your entrance to heaven.

The pain, loss and suffering you will go through by making your ways right will never be compared with the suffering you will experience for just a minute in hell if you continue to cover up.

A Simple Tip For Success In Business & Career: DON’T COMPROMISE

In business or in career, there will be sometimes that without compromising, without telling lies, without giving bribe or falsifying information one cannot succeed, but such notion is a lie. With my little experience in business I have discovered that the more you refuse to compromise, the more you will experience God’s blessings beyond human power. Truly, sometimes it will seems as the end of the road if one refuses to compromise, it will seems the business will fail unless one compromise into sin, but if you trust God without compromise like the 3 Hebrews in Babylon, God will always make a better way. I’m laughing as I’m typing this; you know why I used the example of the 3 Hebrews in Babylon? Because that is exactly how it looks at some point in business or in career, it will look if you don’t tell little lie or compromise into sin, everything will get burned and fail, but if you determine not to compromise but rather let go of the business project, God will give you a better success.

Refusing to compromise into sin in business or career, no matter how little or costly will prove to God that you deserve the blessings of Abraham in your business and career, and you will be surprised how God will bless you beyond those who compromised their faith. Do not be too smart in business or career that you will involve in any sinful activity, no matter how small, it will block the heaven of God’s blessing on your life.

THE DOCTRINES OF DEMONS: Faith Without Work!
Faith in God without working righteousness in God is dead, such faith is of same level with the faith of demons, and such churches and preachers who teach that all you need is faith in God and His righteousness without you pleasing God in righteous living are teaching doctrines of demons.

Demons believe there is God, they believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and they tremble. Mark 5:7, “And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

So you believe there is God? Devil and demons do.
You believe Jesus Christ is Lord? Devil and demons do believe also, they even tremble before God which many “so called” Christians don’t. So what makes difference between your faith and demons’ faith if your faith lacks work of righteousness?

One of the doctrines of demons of this end time is faith without work; it teaches to just believe, confess and cash, but such faith never produces righteousness or holy living in such believers; they are loud in their confessions, they claim to be the righteousness of God, but they lack fruit of righteousness. Apostle Paul warned of such believers, preachers and churches, “having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy3:5.

You know the word of God says "But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" That is in 2 Peter 3:8.

A thousand years in heaven is like a day, because of so much glorious, glittering, gorgeous, dazzling, spectacular, magnificent, sumptuous, spectacular, resplendent, opulent, luxurious, palatial, deluxe, rich, expensive, lavish, ornate, elegant, handsome, beautiful, stately, majestic, kingly, princely, regal, lovely, delightful, amazing and fantastic CELEBRATION and ENJOYMENT all day, and its environment!

Also a day in hell is like a thousand years because of so much dreadful, horrifying, horrific, horrendous, frightful, fearful, awful, terrible, shocking, appalling, hideous, grim, grisly, ghastly, harrowing, gruesome, heinous, vile, nightmarish, macabre, unspeakable, hair-raising, spine-chilling; loathsome, monstrous, abhorrent, detestable, hateful, execrable, abominable, atrocious, sickening and nauseating AGONY and SUFFERING all day long, and its environment!

So we can see that there is nothing too much we can do for heaven's sake and there is nothing too much we can forbear or forgo for the sake of escaping hell.

THE DIFFENRECE IS CLEAR!
There are clear differences between a church members and a disciple of Jesus Christ:
A disciple of Christ is somebody who genuinely comes to Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul and eternal life and keeping following Him for the bread of life. John 6: 63-67. But a church member may have other purposes like problem solving, prosperity, prophecies, healing, etc.

A disciple of Christ is somebody who comes to Jesus and repents from all his sins, forsake them and continuing in the Word of God. Acts 14:21, 22. A church member does not necessarily need to be genuinely saved; they may just answer altar call and be committed and faithful to the church ordinances. Are you a disciple or a church member?

To make disciples, Christ, and Him alone must be preached with the sole aim of leading people to salvation in Christ and helping them to grow and live in holiness, truth and righteousness, and to make heaven. To make members, no need of priority of genuine repentance, salvation, restitution and holiness of life, just preach what will attract people in the name of Jesus. If your purpose is to make people get to heaven, it’s not a must to make them members of your church. You can have thousands members in your church and none of them is a disciple of Christ. The population of a church is not in proportion to the spiritual value of that church. The number of the members in a church is not in any proportion to the number of Christ’s disciples in that church.

Since you have been a Christian, are you Christ disciple or a church member? You can spend all the days of your life with a church, you can spend your money and time, you can be a leader of a church but if you are not a disciple of Christ, everything is wasted. Please check your salvation before you get to eternal checking point gate where there will not be room for correction but eternal condemnation.

THE SNARES OF FEAR
Proverbs 29:25, "The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe."

Fear is opposite of faith. Fear is so terrible that it destroys life here on earth and in eternity. There are two major snares of fear people usually fall into, which Satan uses to ruin lives:

Majority of sins people commit are as a result of fear; Satan ensnares people with sin through fear. Why have you not totally surrendered your life to Jesus? It is because of fear of what people will say and how it will go with you. Why are you still covering a particular sin of your past? It's because of fear of what people will say. Why have you not done the necessary restitution till now? It is because of fear of what will happen after. Why are you still in a sinful relationship or in ungodly profession or company? It is because of fear of uncertainty.

If you should be sincere with yourself, why do you tell lie? It is because of the fear of how people will respond to the truth? Why did you forge or falsify your document, your age to get job or your paper done? It is because of fear of what to eat and how to survive. Why did you steal and embezzle? It is because of fear of life. Why do you find it hard to confess and open up what you did wrong? It is simply because of the fear of how people will respond. Why do people keep displeasing God in order to please men? Because of fear of men. Why are you still in the occult group? It's because of fear. And you know what? If you don't loose yourself now by the Truth, Satan will use that fear to hold and ensnare you till you land in hell.

Before sin is fear. As it is impossible to please God without faith, it is impossible to remain under Satan bondage without fear. There are different types of satanic fear: There is fear of uncertainty, fear of men, fear of the future, economic fear, egoistic fear, surviving fear, unknown fear, etc. Devil uses these to keep people under his bondage of sin until no chance for a second chance.

It is a sin to fear any man or anything, only God alone is to be feared; fearing any one or anything less than God Almighty only brings snares. But the truth is that it is easier to be free from fear than to fear, it is so easy to get freedom from fear than to remain in the bondage of fear. All you need is FAITH! If you have faith in your self or in any religion, you will be seriously disappointed, but the faith you need is faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you receive salvation; after salvation, by faith you work out your salvation, you work away from sinful things; by faith you open up, by faith you reject sinful benefits and hold on to God. By faith you do restitution, by faith you silent fear and free yourself through faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you please God. Faith will make you free from snares of sin, while others are compromising and falling into the snares of sins because of fear, you will stand firm in faith in Christ without compromise.

BEWARE OF ELECTRISTEALING
Electricity bill here has skyrocketed that has made is difficult for many people to cope. By so doing the devil is using this situation to trap many Christians by falling into several fraudulent activities and ruining their Christian testimonies.

Here are different categories of fraudulent activities with electricity:

SECRET STEALER
Some people, because of high cost of electricity bill, they were disconnected, yet they are secretly tapping, stealing electricity maybe in the evening time. Now, if you are in this category or considering it, I want you to know you are playing with fire, and will you be surprised if this act exposes your destiny to evil forces to secretly steal your glory?

PARTIAL THIEF
Another group of electricity thief are people who have prepaid meters but boycott and tap free electricity on some of their electrical consumptions, partial thieves are same thieves with armed robbers before God.

CIRCUMSTANTIAL THIEF
You have prepaid meter but because you were unaware, your card got finished at night, and so you tapped light just for the night to pass and you could buy card for your meter, though you only steal electricity just for the night and you didn't intend to, yet before God you are a thief, and a circumstantial thief will not be exonerated before God.

BRIBING THIEF
You know many people were angry with outrageous electricity bills that they were in hurry to get prepaid meter which was delayed after they applied for it but they had to bribe their ways to get it faster. Some also bribed to get their electricity bills reduced or suspended so they could pay little or nothing. On other way, electricity workers come to disconnect you because of your unpaid bill, you bribe them so you will not be disconnected. if you are in this category, you are robbing your destiny, not government, because government does not even know but God knows, you are robbing your eternal light because of temporal light.

Bribing is paying for ticket to see hellfire.

CONCLUSION
Whichever category you are, what you need to know is that as you steal or tap government's or company's light, you are, in the spiritual reality, darkening your destiny and walking towards eternal darkness and doom. You need to repent and stop stealing in any category.

What you need to do: When government or electricity company is bringing you outrageous bill beyond your consumption or your capacity to pay, take it to God in prayer, He will settle it for you and direct you, I can assure you of that.

Also it's better to let your light disconnected and stay in temporal darkness than to bribe, manipulate, have temporal light and end up in eternal darkness of darkness.

When you need to do restitution: If you have been tapping your neighbor's light or manipulating government's light, lying or giving wrong impression, you need to repent and confess to the right people.

"But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:23

I pray your light will not go down at noonday, and you will not spend your eternity in darkness. Amen

DO YOU REALLY LOVE GOD OR YOU JUST LIKE HIM?
Yes you are a Christian, devoted and doing fine in the church, but do you really love God? Let’s check this:

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21

Loving God is not just believing that God exists or going to church, it’s not just praising and worshiping God with a longing heart or loud voice; loving God is not evidential because you love praise and worship unto God, because you are devoted to the work of God or you like talking about God. And giving money to God’s work or seriously and zealously committed to God’s work is not the yardstick of love for God.

The only genuine evidence and prove of your love for God, first and foremost, is keeping all His commandments, not some of them – living in holiness and righteousness of life to please God; without this, you do not love God, you only like Him.

To love God, you will need to first lay down your sins at His feet, repent, forsake and surrender all unto Him to experience genuine salvation. Sin displeases God, and you can't keep displeasing Him you really love. Genuine salvation will first come before genuine love for God.

SERVICE, SACRIFICE & SINCERITY
You can be so committed to the things of God, you can be a devoted Christians before men, you can be a leader in the church or a minister, but if you are not living in holiness and righteous of life to please God, you only like God, you have not loved him.

Your service to God, your sacrifice to God without your sincere love for Him will profit you nothing at the end of your life or on the day of rapture. Here is what Apostle Paul said, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Before you serve or sacrifice unto God, you need to first sincerely surrender your life to Him by repenting, confessing your sins and forsake them all. When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you start a new life in Him, free of sin, just sincere! But if you are working, serving God and sacrificing unto Him with sin in your life, you are a worker of iniquity and such service profits nothing.

You need to first surrender your life to Jesus Christ before you can acceptably serve Him, you will need to be saved before you can make a sincere sacrifice unto God.

1 Samuel 15:22,
“So Samuel said:“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.
