C O M P R O M I S E
1 Kings 13:16, 17, 19, "And he said, “I cannot return with you nor go in with you; neither can I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place. 17 For I have been told by the word of the Lord, ‘You shall not eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by going the way you came.’”......So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water."

Compromise is going against the Word and will of God as a result of internal and external pressure; what people will say, and because of personal profit, pleasure or position. Call to compromise is a common occurrence in Christian living, but compromising is a personal decision to run into enemy's trap and waste God's grace and mercy.

As a dedicated child of God who has experienced genuine salvation, you will come across situations where you will either stand for the Word of God or compromise with the world.

COMMON CHRISTIANS
"Everybody is doing it, and why not you? Why do you want to be different from all other Christians?" These are some of the questions that will pass through your mind, but your stand should be, "Others may, but I will not" Situations prove our love and commitment to God. For example, Satan may allow you to put several effort in a project or a lot of time in a relationship, and when you are almost through, there will be a sinful demand; at this point, you will either stand for God's word to let everything go and stick with God or you compromise and let God down in your life.

Sinful requests or demands come in marital relationship, in business, at workplace, for job application, for promotion, for contact application, for traveling; so as to lie, to cheat, to bribe, to change age, to change figure or document, to commit premarital sex - fornication or adultery; just to fall short of God's standard. At that point, you will either stand for holiness or compromise your Christian faith.

Many Christians are compromising God's standard when pressures are mounted on them, "For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles." Matthew 13:21. These compromising Christians are the majority in Christianity of today, because of pressure of people, persecution of people, profit from people, pleasure of life, and position of people. Among these common Christians are Pastors, Evangelists, Prophets and Bishops; they don't see anything wrong in some sinful and worldly activities so as to get along with the world.

COMMON SENSE
Those Christians who compromise God's standard apply their common sense instead of God's word. At the end of your life here on earth, God will not judge you by your common sense or by the reasons of your common pastors or Christians, but by the scriptures which never change. Your common sense cannot walk with God, only by God's word we can walk with God.

You knew it was a sin, you heard it was a sin and you said it was a sin, but along the way, as Satan mounted up pressure within and without, then you began to reason and see nothing wrong in it. You don't want to loose it and start again, you don't want your spouse to reject you, you don't want your parents to abuse you, you don't want to loose your job, certificate, money and the so called "golden" opportunity, and so you want to apply common sense and the advice of common Christians. If you compromise, you have allowed Satan to prevail over your life.

COMMON MISTAKE
Compromise really means deciding to please men and displease God instead, it means fearing men more than God, and it's saying, "I better sin against God instead of sinning against man" Is it not a mistake and stupidity for a man to choose to displease his Creator because of the fellow creatures? When you compromise God's Word and will, you miss God's special program for your life, you allow Satan to prevail and you become a big looser at the end, though you may look smart initially, but a smart fool.

CONSEQUENCES
For every compromise is a consequence, it is Satan's deception that makes a child of God to compromise God's standard of holiness. When a child of God compromises, he misses God's purpose for his life on earth, the Holy Spirit departs from him and his name is removed from the Book of Life. Such a Christian is exposed to satanic attacks because compromise is like using one's hand to break the hedge of God's protection and thereby allow satanic serpent to attack. "And whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent." Ecclesiastes 10:8. Such a Christian can suffer severe lost, premature death and eternal damnation in hell fire.

COME WHAT MAY!
After you surrender your life to Jesus, never compromise God's standard with anyone, what come may or come what may. Do not trade your salvation for anything or with any one. Do not compromise with the common Christians and churches, and never allow the pressure, persecution or profit of this temporal world to deceive you into compromise. If you have compromised before, you need urgent repentance and and to retrace your way back to God. Satan is waiting at your point of compromise to strike your soul down, and there may never be a second chance. What come may, never compromise into sin!

"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank." Daniel 1:8

"O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18.

WHEN YOU BECOME A COMMON CHRISTIAN

You don't want to loose it and start again, you don't want your spouse to reject you, you don't want your parents to disown you, you don't want to loose your job, certificate, money and the so called "golden" opportunity, and so you want to apply common sense and the advice of common Christians and then become a compromised Christian who will cry too late at the coming of Christ.

SNARE OF FEAR INTO SIN
Majority of sins people commit are as a result of fear; Satan ensnares people with sin through fear. Why have you not totally surrendered your life to Jesus? It is because of fear of what people will say and how it will go with you. Why are you still covering a particular sin of your past? It's because of fear of what people will say. Why have you not done the necessary restitution till now? It is because of fear of what will happen after. Why are you still in a sinful relationship or in ungodly profession or company? It is because of fear of uncertainty. If you should be sincere with yourself, why do you tell lie? It is because of the fear of how people will respond to the truth? Why did you forge or falsify your document, your age to get job or your paper done? It is because of fear of what to eat and how to survive. Why did you steal and embezzle? It is because of fear of life. Why do you find it hard to confess and open up what you did wrong? It is simply because of the fear of how people will respond. Why do people keep displeasing God in order to please men? Because of fear of men. Why are you still in the occult group? It's because of fear. And you know what? If you don't loose yourself now by the Truth, Satan will use that fear to hold and ensnare you till you land in hell.

Before sin is fear. As it is impossible to please God without faith, it is impossible to remain under Satan bondage without fear. There are different types of satanic fear: There is fear of uncertainty, fear of men, fear of the future, economic fear, egoistic fear, surviving fear, unknown fear, etc. Devil uses these to keep people under his bondage of sin until no chance for a second chance.

It is a sin to fear any man or anything, only God alone is to be feared; fearing any one or anything less than God Almighty only brings snares. But the truth is that it is easier to be free from fear that to fear, it is so easy to get freedom from fear than to remain in the bondage of fear. All you need is FAITH! If you have faith in your self or in any religion, you will be seriously disappointed, but the faith you need is faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you receive salvation; after salvation, by faith you work out your salvation, you work away from sinful things; by faith you open up, by faith you reject sinful benefits and hold on to God. By faith you do restitution, by faith you silent fear and free yourself through faith in Jesus Christ. By faith you please God. Faith will make you free from snares of sin, while others are compromising and falling into the snares of sins because of fear, you will stand firm in faith in Christ without compromise.

SNARE OF SATANIC ATTACK
2 Timothy 1:7, " For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Do you wonder why many genuine children of God are being attacked by demonic people? It is because of fear. You can be a child of God and still remain under bondage of Satan and evil people, why? Because of fear! Without fear, it is impossible for a child of God to be attacked by Satan. When you genuinely give your life to Jesus Christ, you have power and authority over Satan, demons and all demonic people Matthew 10:1. But while you are suppose to command authority over evil spirits, they can exercise authority over you if you are afraid of them.

You Know What?
You can be a child of God and the ship of your marriage,ministry, health, family and finance can sink if you are afraid, simple. Jesus Christ was in the ship with His disciples, yet the devil was terrifying them, almost sinking the ship while Jesus was right inside the ship, you know why? Because of fear and lack of faith. Jesus told them, " “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” Mark 4: 40. The same thing maybe applicable to you as a child of God; why is Satan terrifying you? Why is your ship getting sinking while Jesus is right inside there with you? Enough! Rise in faith and your fear will run away. Command in Jesus name and peace will be still and prosperity and progress will follow!

Many children of God think they need special anointing before they can overcome principalities and power, no, what they need is faith in Jesus Christ. If you call the name of Jesus without faith in that name, it may not always work for you. You can be a sinless Christian and remain in the snare of satanic attack, simply because of fear.

If you have been attacked by evil people before you gave your life to Jesus, and after you are saved, you are still afraid instead of you to exercise authority in Jesus name, you will remain under the attack. Do you know how Satan brings children of God under his snare of attack? It is by scaring, he scares people by dreams, by negative thoughts and evil utterances of demonic people; instead of such children of the most high God to exercise authority to resist the devil, reject the thoughts and rebuke those dirty demonic people and cast down every evil imagination, they become afraid and fall victim.

You know what? It will be biblically impossible for you to overcome what you are afraid of, it is just God's mercy that preserves us most times. Fear brings you into the snare of what you are afraid of; if you are afraid of wizards and witches, you will be ensnared by them. Churches and pastors who preach and pray mostly about demonic attacks are under the bondage of Satan. It is also one of the major distractions of Satan in the churches today; while we ought to be praying for more of God's grace and righteousness in our lives, we are busy chasing after witchcraft; while we suppose to be running away from sins, we are running away from enemies, and while we ought to be running after God's kingdom and His righteousness, we are running after "so called" deliverance.

If you always have the consciousness and awareness of demonic attacks in your life, if you always pray and fast against attack of the enemies, it means you are already under the bondage of Satan. Christians who pray every time against attacks of witches, wizards, or demonic people are under the snare of the devil, they will never be free, because they will never stop such prayers. Churches and Christians who pray "demonic and enemies" prayers are never free because they never stop praying such prayers. Some of them have been praying such prayers for the past 20 years and they still pray it till today; they believe enemies are siting on their destinies, and so it happens, they believe enemies are covering their destines and so the enemies do; they are never free from the bondage of witches and demonic people, they will never be free until they have faith in Jesus because It will happens to you according to your faith.

If you are a child of God, your priority is purity of life, because purity gives power over sin, Satan and all his demonic and human agents. You cannot run away from sins and run away from Satan at the same time; you cannot run away from unrighteousness and run away from witches and wizards at the same time. When you surrender your life to Jesus and run away from sin, Satan is under your feet and demonic people will see you and run away. Today, Christians run away from demonic people, because of fear. Many are so afraid that they don't go to Barbing shop to cut their hair, being afraid of the demonic barbers using their hair. Churches who preach and pray always on demonic attacks are teaching the doctrines of demons, Bible only teaches us to exercise authority over them and focus on righteousness and evangelism. Running from pillar to post because of problems of enemies is because something is wrong with you; you are either under the bondage of sin or snare of fear.

In Jesus is freedom and total freedom. You need total freedom from bondage of sin by repenting and surrendering your entire life to Jesus. You need total freedom over Satan and his principalities by faith in Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ, the Blood of Jesus Christ and fire of Holy Spirit are three spiritual weapons for every child of God which no Satan, no powers, no principalities, no personalities, no people or person can withstand in our lives. Philippians 2:10, 11. Revelation 12:11. Hebrews 12:29.

NO CONDEMNATION, NO CONTINUITY!
"When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8:10,11

The simple definition of Christianity is, no condemnation and no continuity. God does not condemn you no matter what you have done or what you are doing, but when you come to Jesus, you should not continue in the sinful life.

Coming to Jesus and continuing in sin is a fake and satanic form of Christianity with no eternal life.

A person who claims to be a Christian and still continues in sin is condemned already

Preaching the message of "No condemnation in Christ" without completing it with "No continuity in sin" is a half truth and destructive type of gospel.

Now you can come to Jesus, confess your sins, and forsake them. The grace comes by daily Bible reading, prayer and watchfulness.

YOU NEED A COVER (My Recent Story)
After God miraculously provided the car for my family, an insurance company was introduced to me for comprehensive car insurance, but after delaying for about two months, my wife and I visited the office of the insurance company, that was about 3 weeks ago, then we paid and insured the car the following day, that was on Friday. Then one of their staff told me that the insurance certificate would be available by the following week’s Wednesday but, he said, “We will give you a cover paper between now till next when your insurance certificate is available, in case of anything.” And within me I laughed, “Cover paper for just 5 days, why? I have been driving the car for more than 3 months without your insurance and no problem so I can wait till Wednesday for the certificate.”

When I told my wife that the insurance company gave me a cover paper to insure the car for 5 days till the insurance certificate is ready, she also laughed and said something like, “Cover paper for just 5 days, they sound too serious.” Well, I collected the cover paper, since no extra cost, no extra coming back, just to collect, noooo problem!

SOMETHING HAPPENED
One the evening of the following Monday, I went out with my wife and the kids to nearby shopping mall to get some items, and as we were coming back home, close to the last bus stop to enter our street, it was a busy Monday evening; several people were standing by the bus stop to get bus or taxi. Then as I was driving to enter the service lane, I heard a loud sound at the back, our car was seriously hit at the back, pushed forward to hit another car in front of us. Thank God for His protection always and using the seatbelts and no one was injured. Our car’s bumper dropped down, the boot scratched, the bonnet also was a bit scratched in front and all that. The other car that hit our car was seriously damaged, and I later got to know that it was a loss of brake of the car. As I came of the car, people rallied us and someone said, “Oga, your car saved lives here.” The car that lost the brake and coming with speed would have ran into the people standing by the bus stop, but God used my car to stop it. My family was safe, the people by the road were safe, and the driver of the other car was safe except few people in his car who hit their mouth on the seat.

On the scene, I checked the insurance cover paper and dialed the phone number on it and explained what happened to the man, and he said, “We are so sorry for what happened sir, your car will be taken care of.” The following day I drove the car to a good automobile workshop, and everything was fixed, painted and the car came out more clean than before. The insurance company paid for everything.

YOU NEED BOTH!
There is something more important than the car and its repair here, and that is our life, we need both temporal cover paper and the real certificate of insurance for our life here on earth as a matter of urgency before it gets too late. The temporal cover paper represents God’s divine presence and preservation on earth, and the main certificate of insurance is eternal life, the assurance of eternal rest with God in heaven. When we come to God through Jesus Christ just as we are and realize we are sinners and ready for forsake the sins, then Jesus Christ forgives us and cleanses us, He saves us and washes us through His precious blood that He shed on the cross of Calvary for our redemption, and He writes our names in His Book of life.

As children of God, Jesus Christ will come to take us to heavenly paradise either through death or rapture, but between now and then we need a cover. He said, “I’m coming soon to take you to eternity of heavenly blessing, but till then I will give you a cover, you are covered by my precious blood, from every evil, from satanic oppression, depressions and suppression, from every curse, from sickness, and evil attacks”

There is no any other Cover on earth from evil except the Blood of Jesus. You need a cover for your life, your destiny, your marriage, your health, your business, etc. When trouble of life comes who will cover you? When terrible storms of life come, where do you hide? When challenges of life come who will cover you? When satanic attacks come against your life, your marriage, your destiny, where will you be covered without the Blood of Jesus? Life is full of evil and without the cover of Jesus we are vulnerable. But you need to come to Jesus as a sinner, confess your sins and ready to forsake them before He will cover you with His blood and His righteousness. You need to hide your life in Jesus so you will not be hit be satanic forces.

And more than the temporal earthly cover, because our living here on earth is temporal, what about the main eternal insurance, the insurance of your never-dying soul? If you care to insure your car, your house, your health, then what about your never-ending soul? We receive certificate of eternal life when our names are written in the Book of Life, when we forsake world of sin and follow Jesus in holiness and righteousness.

You know sometimes, when I see unbelievers or those who call themselves Christians but still living in sins and all sorts of worldliness, when I see them laughing or expressing happiness, I wonder within me that, “What is making these people to be laughing in such a dangerous condition? No earthly cover and no eternal life certificate. If demonic forces just decide to make their lives, their marriages or careers miserable now, they have no cover of the Blood of Lamb, and the worst part is, if death comes or rapture takes place now, they have no assurance of heaven, no eternal life, what is miserable life!”

Will you continue to live in such a miserably dangerous life when Jesus is right there waiting to save, secure and insure your life now, here and in eternity? Today is the day of your salvation.

Or in your case, your life has been hit and bartered by the evil forces of this life? Your life is in ruin, your marriage is serious damaged, your health destroyed, your spiritual wasted; you have either backslidden and allowed Satan to ruin your life or you never come to Jesus before till things got worst. Whichever you case, Jesus is ready to rescue your life, your marriage, etc. and repair it, save and wash you from sins, then beautify your life like never before and then give you a cover and certificate of eternal life. MOCK WORSHIP
The soldiers who were to crucify Jesus Christ twisted a crown of thorns and put it on Jesus' head and began to worship Him. "Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him." Mark 15:19.

After worshiping Jesus, in the next verse they went to crucify Him, "And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him." Mark 15:20.

This type of worship is fake, it is mockery and not true. But there are so many Christians doing same mock worship today, fake worship of mockery, majority of Christians are doing exactly the same today. How? Read further:

When you sing and praise God in a sweet voice and melodious song as many will do tomorrow in the name of Thanksgiving service, praising like never before, dancing like what happened, and worshiping, crying and even rolling on the floor. But after the such heavy worship, you go ahead to crucify Jesus in the next verse of your life, that is nothing but fake, mock worship.

When we proclaim to the world to be a Christian and confess to be born again in Christ, anytime we go back to sin, we are crucifying Jesus over again afresh, just as the Roman soldiers did about 2000 years ago. "if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame." Hebrews 6:6

Do you really worship God or you are mocking Him?
When you say in praise and worship that Jesus is Lord, are you saying the truth, is He really the Lord of your life? Then why are you doing things in your sinful way?

When you say "You Are Holy" in praise and worship, is it true in your life? Are you living a life of holiness or you are doing mock worship? How can you say He is holy and you are involving in premarital sex, adultery or masturbation? Are you not mocking God and doing fake worship like the Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus?

When you say Jesus is your Provider and your EVERYTHING in praise and worship but yet, you take bribe, you give bribe, you falsify, you lie, you steal, manipulate things, are you not putting Jesus to an open shame? Will He be happy with you for eternity?

God is not just seeking for those who will worship Him with mouth or with money but He only accept those who worship Him in truth and spirit. "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." John 4:23.

You can shout aloud, you can dance, you can roll on the ground, you can even be crying, weeping and worshiping, you can praise God for hours without stopping, if what you are saying about God is not truly applicable in your practical life of living, if you are not worshiping Him in true holiness and in spirit, your worship is fake and a mockery.

It's not just about praising and worshiping God, but worshiping Him in truth and spirit.

Peter's mother-in-law was sick with high fever right in Peter's house. So when Jesus came to the house, He was asked to pray for the mother-in-law, and what happened? Jesus rebuked the fever (So sickness can hear rebuke) and it left the woman.

Then after the woman was healed, what did she do? She did not jump up and go back to her house, she did not stand and said, "Oh now, I need to attend all the parties I missed when I was sick" She did not run to market and start selling and doing business, but the Bible said, "And immediately she arose and served them." Luke 4:39. She began to serve in the Lord.

When you have the good health, what do you use it for? Do you have time for the service of God, I'm not just talking about church services, but personal services to the Lord, doing the work of evangelism, follow-up, helping, etc. If all we do is to pursue earthly things without having enough time for God's work, who is going to heal us when we break down?

Serving God attracts healing of God. And God will not want those who are diligently serving Him to be tied down by sickness.

We should be fruitful, not just in the church, but in the Kingdom of God really, so that He will always give us the spiritual, physical, mental and financial strength to serve Him more.

IS MASTURBATION A SIN?......Please read this!
To start with, masturbation is self service by which one derives pleasure; it's a sexual stimulation of the genitals, usually to the point of orgasm, it's usually performed using the hands, fingers, everyday objects, or dedicated intimacy gadgets. So the question: Is it sinful for a child of God to masturbate? The sincere and simple answer is that, it is biblically sinful based on these three points:

(1) IT'S DISHONORING YOUR BODY.
Pastors and preachers who claim that masturbation is not a sin are the same people who say a godly woman can dress any how; their base is that God's is not concern about what you do with your body, watch out! Such people believe God is only after your mind or your heart, and your body is none of His business, you can dress half naked as a woman, you can wear earrings as a man, perm your hair like woman; you can smoke, drink, it is your body, normal habit, and none of God's business.

Such teaching of your body is not God's business is satanic and unbiblical. God is interested in your body as well as your soul, God wants you to keep your heart holy as well as your body. Romans 12:1, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Your heart is the throne of God, and your body is His temple; when you defile God's temple - your body - with masturbation or any uncleanness, you expose yourself to God's destruction.

1 Corinthians 3: 16, 17, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

(2) IT'S SEXUAL IMMORALITY
Any action by which one derives sexual pleasure - orgasm - apart from, between husband and wife, such is sexual immorality. There are several sexual immoralities like fornication, adultery, masturbation, homosexuality, etc. Those who involve in masturbation before or after marriage are immoral people before God. 1 Corinthians 5:9, "I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people."

(3) IT'S A SECRET SIN
Any habit you can't publicly and proudly perform is a secret sin, and masturbation is part of it, it's something usually done in secret after you dedicate your life to Jesus. You can't have fellow children of God in the same room and you begin to masturbate. You can sleep or snore while people are around, but you can't masturbate while good and godly people are around.

NO PRETENSE!
You can't finish masturbate and you feel free in God's presence, your conscience will tell you something is wrong, that you are defiled. If you now feel no quilt in masturbating, it means you have silenced or killed your conscience, since the Spirit of God will not continue to strive with a man, but you know it wasn't like that at the initial.

THREE WAYS OUT!
Masturbation is satanic anchor by which he uses to grip souls under his bondage. The solution is not to say it is not a sin, the solution is not marriage or attractive spouse, that never solve problem of lust.
The solutions are (i) You repent and rededicate your life to Jesus by admitting it as a sin against God and ready to forsake it.

(ii) You watch out against it, you detach yourself from immoral materials, movies, music and thoughts. Resist the devil when he brings the pressure on you to masturbate; just hold the feeling and resist the devil, he can't stay long, he will flee. It will come over you as if you can't resist it, but that is not true, you just hold it, don't torch and don't think about. It is a sin and you don't want to bring yourself under the bondage anymore. The more you resist and overcome the feeling, the more you are strong, keep watching, he can go and come after some months, don't relax but resist.

(iii) Pray about it. You must take it to God in your daily prayer to conquer the sinful notion and nature; pray for grace and strength to resist, to discipline your body and keep it under the Spirit of God.

PRIVATE JET MINISTERS
I watched Kenneth Copeland on YouTube interviewed why he can't fly public airplane, he answered because he can't fly with bunch of demonic people in the public airplane, what a funny man, he can't defend his outrageous extravagant. So what is the reason your papa like Oyedepo, Adeboye and co flying private jets? They can't logically or biblically justify it.

All private jet ministers are either fake or fallen. If you follow them, you also will end up either turn fake or fall apart. Run away from them before they ruin your soul!

WILL GREAT TRIBULATION TAKE PLACE BEFORE THE RAPTURE?
This question is from Sister F.T. in London, asking if Great Tribulation will first take place before the Rapture.

ANSWER:
Glad to hear from you ma.
The teaching that Great Tribulation will take place before the rapture is a misconception that some denominations are teaching. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to have the right understanding of what we read. Some particular Scriptures have different and deeper meanings and it is the Holy Spirit that will guide us accurately.

Rapture will first take place before the Great Tribulation. According to the Book of Luke 17, Rapture will not take place during tribulation and sorrow, but during merriment, false peace and enjoyment. That is the clear cue of when the rapture will take place, and the current situation of the world perfectly fits in. From Luke 17 verse 26, "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed."

That is going to be the condition of the world when rapture will take place. Then He said, " I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” Luke 17:34-3

The teaching of Tribulation before Rapture will only mislead people to think that Rapture cannot take place now, by so thinking, it will make them to feel relax and relent of their expectation for the rapture, thinking that Rapture cannot take place any time now, whereas Jesus Christ told us to expect His Rapture any moment, but since they believe that Great Tribulation will first take place, it will be impossible for them to believe the warning of Jesus that rapture will take place any moment, because they expect Tribulation before Rapture. That is the extend a little misinterpretation of the Scripture can go. When we misinterpret the Scripture, no matter how small, it will lead to serious error. The question is that what will cause the Great Tribulation to start if not the Rapture? There cannot be Great Tribulation without the Rapture.

There is no such thing in the Bible that children of God suffered with the sinners before God came to save them. Before the flood, God first rescued Noah and his people; before the judgment of God on Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord first rescued Lot and his children, and Jesus Himself said His coming would be exactly like those previous two incidents, so where did the pre-rapture Great tribulation teachers got their teaching from? It's from the pit of hell.

So, we should not wait or worry about Great Tribulation, instead we should prepare for the Rapture which can happen any moment from now. After we are caught up with Christ in heaven through the Rapture, the Left-behind on earth are the people who will face the Great Tribulation of the Anti-Christ.

WORLDLY FASHION
There are forces of the darkness working behind fashion today. The devil uses worldly fashion to entrap many souls in the name of latest fashion; many Christians and churches have fallen into this satanic traps that there is no different between many Christians and unbelievers. Satan can use this to entice you, saying you need to open your eyes to the latest fashion - ungodly dress. Any dress that does not cover your body well is a worldly fashion. As a woman, anything you wear that shows the "trace element" of your cleavage is a worldly fashion working for Satan; any dress that is tight on your body that shows the shape of your body is a worldly fashion, trapping souls to the kingdom of hell; any clothes that is transparent which shows underwear is under worldly fashion. As a man, sagging trouser, wearing pencil trousers are parts of the worldly fashion. To remain focused on God, you must destroy such clothes and close your eyes to them.

REMEMBER MMM?
Sometimes ago, I preached that the scheme MMM is not right for children of God, that it’s gambling and God does not approve gambling or gaining wealth through gambling, but several Christians opposed the messaged and did not agree that involving in MMM is sinful or wrong. But today, do I need to quote Bible to anybody in Nigeria before you know MMM is false? Since many people have suffered huge lose.

Exactly the same thing is happening to so many Christians today, when we preach that holiness and righteousness living is the sure way to heaven, but many are opposing and saying, “No need to living holy and righteous life, that the grace of God covers our past, present and future sins, all we need is to claim it by faith” Then we say such permissive grace is gambling, it’s like you are gambling your soul at the mercy of Satan. But many are ignoring the warning now, but when they die or after the rapture takes place, you will not need any preacher to quote Bible for you that grace with continuous sinful life is gambling.

DO NOT GAMBLE YOUR SOUL, Do not be deceived by the prosperity and permissive preachers; claiming righteousness of God and grace of God without living a righteous and holy life is false teaching from the pit of hell. Don’t wait too late.

1 John 3:7-8, “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

Some time you will feel weak and vulnerable, and suggestion may come to your mind to give in to sin by the pressures within and without.

Sometimes, this pressure will will be so pressing as if you can't but give in to it; people outside may be pressing you to yield to sin again. The memory of the past sin may flood your mind as if you have not be saved, and Satan will try to confuse you that you are not a child of God. Another common issue is after you have resisted a particular sinful habit and you think that is the end, you may be surprised that the tendency will re-surge after some months or years. You may be disturbed and wonder why that again? The reason is because Satan is not dead yet and he is desperate about your dear life. You resist him, he goes and then look for another opportunity to come, as he did to Jesus. "Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time." Luke 4:13.

SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Do not give in or yield to sinful thoughts, tendencies or temptations. We cannot pray that temptation should not come but we can pray unto God to deliver us from temptation, by His grace and strength. Keep resisting the devil as many times he comes with temptations, keep standing, don't relent, keep praying and watching every moment. Many Christians successfully resisted the devil at the first hand, but later they felt relaxed and fell afterward. A Christian who comes out of past nature of lust, immorality, masturbation or anger, he may stand to resist after his salvation but he needs to keep standing and resisting, because the tendencies may still come over again. The secret is that you keep resisting through prayer and Satan will keep fleeing from you.

THE SECRETS OF SERVING GOD
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

The truth is that, you either serve God or you serve the devil; you can not serve both together. To many, serving God seems difficult, while to others, it is like impossible or unattainable task. But when we do it right and realize the secrets, it becomes easy and successful.

Right Way
The only acceptable way to serve God is through Jesus Christ, you need to experience genuine salvation through Jesus Christ. Many are having it hard in their Christian lives because they have it wrong or they are taking it wrong way. Christian life without genuine salvation makes it terribly difficult and impossible. If you want to serve God acceptably and successfully, you need to start well. Genuine salvation starts with repentance; many are starting their Christian lives with confession, and they find it hard to overcome sin and Satan, they keep confessing and committing sins. Repentance is the solid base, it is realizing your sins and ready to forsake them. After your genuine readiness to forsake sins, then you go ahead and confess, ask God to forgive and cleanse you through the Blood of Jesus Christ; ask Him to save you, then you are saved.

RUNNING THE RACE: 2 ISSUES

It is like your prayer can’t be answered, as if you are not meant to be strong spiritually, as if you can’t be strong in prayer, as if God hates you or you are not a child of God. Has it happened to you before? What next came to your mind? "STOP!" That you should, “stop the prayer, the reading Bible, the new life in Jesus. You will always fumble, you are not meant for such life. You are naturally week and God is not really looking for such people like you.” The secret is that such thought is not just ordinary; it is from the devil to discourage you from moving forward.

SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
(1) DON'T GIVE IN. Do not give in or yield to sinful thoughts, tendencies or temptations. We cannot pray that temptation should not come but we can pray unto God to deliver us from temptation, by His grace and strength. The secret is that the first few minutes of prayer, praising God in Spirit or reading Bible are likely to be distracted and discouraged; but if you don’t stop you will be filled, full and stronger.

The same thing is applicable in your new life in Jesus, in your re-devotion, re-dedication and consecration to God. It will first be un-natural, boring, discouraging, and cumbersome as if you can’t stay long, as if you can’t survive or sustain to the end, as if you can’t understand everything or be holy.

Do you remember when you got your first phone and going through the manual? It was as if you would not get the functioning right, but now you are almost an expert, why because you didn’t stop using and practicing the phone. So also if you don’t stop in your new devotion to Jesus, you will get better and stronger. It is applicable to everyone, both the people in the past and present; all who have ever come to Jesus went through such striving, only they didn’t give up and many are passing though similar things. But Satan will want to personalize it to you as if you are the worst. The devil is a LIAR!

CO N C L U S I O N !
When the people, pressure, persuasion or feeling to commit sin comes again, DON’T YIELD! It is then you will discover the strength and grace of God as your weakness is turned to strength. When the feeling of being empty, of wandering of thoughts, of weakness, of discouragement and despair comes to stop you from your decision and move to serve God, DON’T STOP! If you don’t stop you will be strong. Take your weakness to God in prayer and get strength and grace everyday.

1 Peter 5:8. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

ARCHBISHOP IDAHOSA
This man was one of the people who brought prosperity gospel to Nigeria around 1980s, another gospel different from the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are two painful things the devil successfully used this man to do in Christianity in Nigeria:

1, he helped to destroy the heavenly mission and messages of several ordained ministers of God. People like Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, etc. had personal relationship with Bishop Idahosa and their ministries never remained the same in the right path again. If you knew the above mentioned ministers in their campuses or early ministries, they had heavenly conscious mission and they were holiness preachers, but some of them got the shipwreck of their faith and ministries when they came across Bishop Idahosa.

2, this man turned Christianity upside down. I heard someone quoted Bishop Idahosa that he met Church in Nigeria in poverty when he came back to Nigeria, but turned things around. Yes, he was right. When Idahosa came with gospel of prosperity, most churches in Nigeria were financially poor but spiritually rich; then the church had few cars among the members but you don’t need to speak in tongues before you know a child of God in deed. Before the arrival of prosperity gospel in Nigeria, companies were writing letters to church to employ their members because of faithfulness and diligence among the church. But today if a church member manage to get job offer and asked to bring letter of guarantor from his pastor, the pastor will be afraid to guarantee his church members because of various disappointments. As the pastor is looking for means to defraud his members so also the members towards the pastor, it’s who succeed first.

This is the type of Christianity prosperity gospel has brought to us.

And you as a person, what name should I call you? You know all the evils, immoralities, politics and games of powers and positions that are going on in your prosperity modern church among the pastors, workers and members that sometimes you wonder if that church even deserve to be called a church of God or if the pastors deserve to be called men of God. But you will come on Facebook to defend what is not defendable and condemn those who speak the truth to deliver the captives from the deception of these modern preachers.

For how long will you continue to deceive yourself and to defend this faulty gospel of modern church and these misleading preachers, until you get to hell fire?

Others may be deceived but you can choose not to be; others may continue in this faulty, fake and frivolous modern gospel of prosperity and unguided freedom, but you should be wise and beware!

Let’s repent and return to the old time faith of our founding fathers of faith, of holiness with godliness before the Master returns.

Jeremiah 6:16, “Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

AND WHO IS A HARLOT? Please read this!!!
Genesis 34:31, "But they said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?”

We tend to term or tag a harlot or prostitute to a woman who usually has sex with different men for money. But the reality is that, being a prostitute is far more than being a street or hotel sex worker. From the light of the Word of God, in the sight of God, a woman can be a prostitute or harlot without being a regular sex worker or without having sex for money; a woman can be a confirmed Prostitute and still looks and behaves decent, and still be a serious or zealous Christian woman, she can even be a minister or a minister's wife. It is a limited and inadequate insight and knowledge of people that see only women standing beside the road or hotel as prostitutes.

There are different types of harlots or prostitutes, and they are of different levels, but before God, all are seen as harlots. Let's see some other types of harlots apart from the regular sex workers:

(1) HARLOT BY GARMENT
Genesis 38:15, "When Judah saw her, he thought she was a harlot"

You can be registered as a harlot in heaven simply by the way you dress. You don't need to become an active sex worker, you don't need to commit a single sexual immorality with a man before Heaven will recognize you as a prostitute and remove your name from the Book of Life; in fact you can be a virgin but still a heavenly recognized harlot. How does that happens? It happens simply by what you wear and how you wear what you wear. If you wear low-cut dress or low necklines including ball gowns that exposes your cleavage, meaning, that shows the upper part, little trace of your breasts when you bend down, you are a harlot. You don't need to be half Unclad before you become harlot by garment, but as long you wear any clothing that reveals your cleavage a little, you are a harlot.

Also if you wear tight clothes that shows the anatomy of your body to the world as to show your shape, you are a harlot; if you wear transparent or perforated clothing that shows your inner-wears, you are a harlot; if you wear any dress which does not covers your arms or your kneels, you are a harlot. This may be hard to take but a spiritual reality for holy standard of the heaven minded.

You can be a pastor, a minister, deaconess; you can speak in tongues of angels, you can sing like angels, whoever you are or claim to be does not matter, but to God, you are a decent harlot. If this is too hard for you to take, you can wait until you get to the gate of heaven, only that will be too late, and I will not advise you to wait that too late. There will be surprise on the rapture day and in heaven, when our identities are declared to us, and we may say, "Lord, I am not a harlot, and never be one"

As a Christian woman, what will be your reason before God for wearing clothing that exposes your cleavage? How will you defend your motive of wearing tight, transparent, perforated and short dress?

(2) HARLOT BY GETTING
Genesis 38:21, "Then he asked the men of that place, saying, “Where is the harlot who was openly by the roadside?” And they said, “There was no harlot in this place.”

A harlot is a woman who gives sex to a man in order to get something back; so if you, as a woman, give sex to get a job, you are registered harlot in heavens, even if it is once. If you, as a woman, allow a man to sleep with you because of promotion at work, because you want to retain your job, because you want to get contract, because of your schooling, because of favor- you are a heavenly recognized prostitute. Prostitution is giving sex in exchange for something, it doesn't matter if it is money or not, and it doesn't matter if it is just once or forever.

Here is the is the terrifying truth: Whatever you have gotten by allowing men to sleep with you - even if those things were supposed to be your right, but as long as you allowed man to sleep before you got it through, you are a harlot - the job, certificate, etc are dividends of your harlotry, and the salary, profit, whatever you are getting as a result are wages of a harlot. The most terrific matter here is that, if you are giving tithes, offerings from the wages you got through harlotry, you are only waging serious judgment of God against your life and eternity, because God warned that no wages of harlotry should be brought into His house.

Here is the word of God in Deuteronomy 23:18, "You shall not bring the wages of a harlot or the price of a dog to the house of the Lord your God for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to the Lord your God."

Your pastor can collect your tithes and offerings, your prosperity pastors can say anybody can bring tithes, but you are only doing yourself havoc if you are in such category. To have the mercies of God, you need to repent, open up and confess, then do necessary restitution.

(3) HARLOT BY GIVING
Genesis 34:31, "But they said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?”

If you are in marital relationship, and you commit premarital sex, in a way of giving your love or promise to the man, you are a harlot. Premarital sex in a marital relationship is only an act of harlotry. In the book of Genesis 34, a man called Shechem loved Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he slept with her, even though he had not married her; when her brothers heard it, they were angry and said, “Should he treat our sister like a harlot?” - Only a prostitute will be sleeping with a man before marriage, that is what the brothers meant.

If a man is asking a woman for premarital sex in a relationship, he is only addressing the woman as a prostitute, taking her to be a prostitute; and if a woman is allowing a man to sleep with her in a marital relationship, she is only presenting herself to be a harlot. So the same man who has been sleeping with her can think and decide tomorrow that he doesn't want to marry her again, and why? "She is a harlot" But you are the same man who has been sleeping with her. The man answers, "Yes, I know, but I am not her husband yet, it only proves she is a harlot."

If you had premarital sex before you got married, and you covered it up, you need to repent NOW and realize your sin. Then you will need to confess to the necessary people: your parents, your pastors, including the pastor who joined you together. If you think it is a past matter and no need to confess to the necessary people, you are only embalming your past sin, and enlisting yourself as a harlot in hell.

Take or give, a woman who has extra-marital sex is also a harlot, even if it was once or it was in past; until she confesses to her husband, she is still a prostitute in God's eyes. But as long as such a woman has repented and confessed to her husband, she is as clean as a virgin before God, because when we repent and confess, God is always faithful to forgive and cleanse us, and never remember again our sins as long as don't go back.

AND WHAT ABOUT MEN?
So, what about men who have who ask or commit premarital sex or extra-marital sex, are they also harlots or what should we call them? The same thing is applicable to men, a man who commit premarital sex is a fornicator and a man who commits extra-marital sex is an adulterer. The solution to settle the matter is not a matter of saying, "I don't do it again and I have asked to forgive me" Such a man will need to repent, confess to God and to his wife, to one another as the case may be. If you, as man, has asked a woman for premarital or extra-marital sex, after you have repented, you will need to apologize to the woman for the "evil asking"

Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."

This message is not meant to condemn us, but it is to correct us so that we will not be condemned with the world at the end. Let us make the necessary amendment.

1 Corinthians 11:31, 32, "For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world."

MARITAL SEXUAL FEELING
As husband or wife, when you discover that you don't have interest of sex with your spouse again, it's not a sign of being spiritual but being spiritually sick. You know why? After the devil waits to make you completely lose your romantic interest and attraction towards your spouse, he will then connect your affection and attraction to someone outside, and that is the beginning of a total downfall.

If you have lost your sexual and romantic feeling towards your spouse, it's a matter of time before lust towards someone else outside will come and before you will fall into the trap of adultery.

So before your affection and romantic feeling towards your spouse get lost, you better get it back and refuel it, before the devil replaces your real love towards your spouse with a lust towards another person outside. Those who go down the road may not be able to tell the story.

WHEN THE CHRISTIAN RACE GETS TOUGHER
Sometimes the Christian race gets so tough that we could barely feel the power of God and hardly see the possibility of God’s promises. When flesh becomes so tough to subdue, when Satan becomes more roaring to resist, when walking with God becomes so tedious and tiring, when working for God becomes so difficult and waiting on the Lord becomes so annoying like wasting time and when heaven becomes so far away, do you know what we are to do? It is not to pull over or pull back or look back, we are to do what Jesus Christ did. In Hebrews 12:2, the Word of God admonished us to “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" meaning we are to look unto Jesus and do as He did when things were tough for Him during His earthly ministry, we should look to the secret of His success during His earthly ministry when things got so hard and tough, here it is in that same Hebrews 12:2, “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus Christ looked beyond the cross, and He saw the joy, of salvation of many souls, the rewards, and glory, so He was encouraged to endure the cross and despise the present, passing shame of the cross. And so we are to follow His steps, we are to look ahead of the present situations. Look ahead for the eternal joy that is set before you in heaven, of the rewards in heaven and eternal blessing of being in the present of God for ever and ever and ever. And why should we not endure the temporal cross and difficulties, why are we not going to despise the passing shame of the world? By God's grace we will!

Are we going to fall back from the race to heaven because of the present pressure of sin and persecution of Satan? Are we going to forfeit the mansions, crowns of glory and eternal joy of heaven? Are we going to forsake our precious salvation and covenant of total faithfulness to God because of these temporal, screen-saver earthly gains? Are we going to miss the glorious heaven and mess up in the gloomy hell forever? NO! God forbid!


By His grace, in this Christian race, we will not pull over, we will not pull back, we will not fall, we will not faint and we will not falter. When flesh becomes so tough to subdue, we will plunge into unlimited God’s grace and put the flesh to death. When Satan becomes more roaring, we will resist him by faith in Christ, not by our power. When walking with God becomes so tiring, He will renew our strength to fly. When working for God becomes so difficult, we are going to look unto Jesus Christ, we are going to wait on Him and He shall take us to His Father’s house of many mansions, and there we shall be with Him and reign with Him forever and ever. Amen!

Satan is a bad god but God is a good God, Satan is a liar and way of death but Jesus Christ is a Way of Truth and Life. And so we are not going to join the stupid generation who choose death instead of life, who choose sin instead of salvation, but we are not going to turn back like many others. By daily prayer, daily Bible reading, daily watchfulness and daily grace of God, we are making it, I am making it and you are making it to heaven.

You know what the Bible says in the same Hebrews 12:22, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. Amen!

It also says, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Hebrews 12:28.

TWO THINGS YOU NEED IMMEDIATELY YOU ARE SAVED

DEVOTION
Salvation in Christ is the beginning of new life as the foundation of our faith, separation is your commitment to settle your new life and devotion is your consecration to God to seal your new life in Christ Jesus. Devotion unto God involves three things:

(i) Daily prayer. To maintain a victorious Christian life, you need a fervent prayer life, praying for God’s sanctification, strength and grace every day; praying for the spiritual understanding and knowledge of God to help you avoid errors. A heavenly minded Christian must spend much of his prayer time on his spiritual life, but the carnal minded Christians pray more about earthly stuff, blessings, provision, and attack against enemies. You must pray morning and evening about your new life in Jesus, let your spiritual life be your priority in your daily prayer, and every other things good will follow.

Prayer strengthens us to resist the temptation of sin. Matthew 26:41. “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

(ii) Daily Bible Reading. It is a must for you to spend at least 30mins daily to read and meditate the Word of God. Don’t just read, but prayerfully read and meditate, thinking over and over the Bible passages as you read until you understand and take note. The Word of God helps us not to fall back into sin.

Psalm 119:9-11,
“How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.

The more you read and meditate the Word of God, the more you are being purified and renewed in the Lord.

NOTE: If you want to go keep in the Word of God and get clearer understanding, do not observe your daily Bible reading through phone or ipad, read from hard copy paper Bible.

(iii) WATCHFULNESS. Watchfulness is simply to work out your professed salvation with trembling and godly fear. It means to carefully apply the Word of God you read and the grace of God you receive through prayer into your daily living. That is when we become fruitful in the Lord. So that the grace we receive in prayer and the strength we receive in the Word of God will not be in vain, we must be watchful how we live our lives, how we talk, how we behave, how we response to people’s provocation, how we abstain from distance appearance of sin, how we dress, cloth we wear, the motive behind our dressing, the motive behind our desire for money, all these must be controlled by the Word of God – this is what watchfulness is all about.

Genuine repentance to salvation in Christ Jesus, total Separation from worldly and sinful things and people and complete Devotion unto God through daily prayer, Bible reading and watchfulness. These are the steps we must daily and carefully take in our journey to heaven.

“For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:8-11.

2 THINGS YOU NEED AFTER YOU ARE SAVED: Separation & Devotion

After you genuinely repent, confess your sins and being saved from sins, you will need two things to do and keep doing for you to maintain your salvation. It is a bad news that many people are saved but they lose their salvation and fall back to old bondage of sin because they lack the understanding of new life in Jesus Christ.

It is possible for you to be saved in the morning and lose the salvation in the evening if you don’t take these two necessary steps. Salvation is conditional, not an unconditional certificate.

Many people do experience genuine salvation but fall back into sin because they fail to take these two steps after they are saved. And the same thing is applicable to falling back into addicted sins.

Failure to do the right things after you are saved will lead you to fall back into sins you have rejected. Let’s look at the Word of God, Matthew 12:43-45:

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

This reveals why many people who were genuinely saved usually fall back into sin. Behind every sin is an unclean spirit, and when you genuinely repent and experience salvation, the unclean spirits will go out of your life, including the addicted sins, and your heart will be swept clean and put in order, but if you do not take the right steps of total separation and devotion after you are saved, some forces of those sins will come back and you will fall back into old sins.

So if you don’t want to keep rising and falling, if you don’t want to keep falling back into the addicted sins, you need SEPARATION and DEVOTION after you genuinely repent from all your sins.

Let’s look at them one after another:

SEPARATION
After you have experienced genuine salvation, the first step you will need to take immediately is separation, you must separate yourself from every connection to old sinful life, from things that will not help or support your new life in Jesus Christ such as worldly music, movies, magazine – you will delete or destroy them; you will immediately stop going to places that will not help you spiritually includes worldly churches. You must detach yourself from people that will not help your spiritual life, friendship or relationship. You must destroy every sinful, worldly or cult material in your possession including all the worldly dresses, clothing, jewelries – you don’t keep them or give to people, but you get rid of them completely and immediately.

After you experience salvation, failure to separate yourself from old sinful and worldly things and people will lead you to fall back into sins. Instead of you to move forward with Christ in new life, those things or people will pull you back into darkness and your old vomit. That is what Apostle Peter says in 2 Peter 2:22, “But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Every Christian journey that will successfully lead to heaven must daily involve separation as a continuous exercise. Separation from worldly, sinful things and people is not only for new convert, it is not only useful for us at our early Christian level but continuously till we get to heaven because when you separate yourself from this sinful or worldly thing today, the devil will introduce another thing tomorrow. That is the reason the Bible warns us to daily search ourselves so as to continue the spiritual exercise of separation. Unfortunately many long-time Christians and Christian ministers are majestically marching straight into eternity without realizing that the devil has implanted some ungodliness, uncleanness or worldliness into their lives, because they fail to exercise daily spiritual checking for separation.

SECRET SINS & CONSEQUENCES
Who commit sins and who carry the punishment?

Romans 2:16, "In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel."

Every secret sin will attract serious judgment of God at the end. And the question is, "What is a secret sins" Or "Which sin is secret?"

Any sin you are hiding from men, keeping it secret, is simply a secret sin. When it says "secret", it doesn't mean keeping it secret from God, since nothing is secret or hidden before God; but keeping it secret from necessary people has made it a secret sin. Hiding your past or immediate sin from people that ought to know is a secret sin that awaits the serious judgment of God. On the other hand, to open up a sin does not mean the whole world must hear or you must tell everyone in your life or everyone you come across, no. It means you don't keep it secret from necessary people that you need to open up to, even if it is your past life.

Necessary people may be your marital partner, your spouse, your parents, your pastors, Christian partners like prayer partners and close brethren. The necessary people may be your family member or your children. When a child of God falls into sin, after confessing to God, he or she needs to confess to one another as the case may be. In the body of Christ, confessing to one another depends on the person's position in the church. A member may only need to confess to close brethren, immediate leader and pastor; a leader will need to confess to close brethren and the pastor, and the pastor will notify the necessary people. A pastor will need to confess to the brethren, or the whole church as the case may be.

Who Carries The Consequences?
When a Christian confesses his sin to necessary people, he has nothing to lose since he has repented and decided never to go back into such sin again, and because God has forgiven him; so confessing to necessary people brings no shame but God's blessings. But there is something very important which we really need to look into. When a brother or sister confesses their sins to one another, they humble themselves for God to honor them, so they are totally free from such sin and no more consequence, now or later. But the issue is that, the people who hear the confessions or whom they inform about the sins need to be very careful, so as not to carry the load of those sins on their own heads. When somebody confesses sin to you as a result of his rededicated Christian life, you must not hold it against the person, you must not reproach the person, and you must not disregard or disrespect the person. Why? Because the person who confesses his past or a particular sin to you does that to honor God's word, so if you despise, you are not actually despising the person but God whom the person honors his word.

Let's look at a story from the Bible:
2 Samuel 6:14-17, " Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart."

Verses 20-23, "Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. 22 And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.” Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death."

Michal despised King David because he humbled himself before God, because he honored God; and the consequence of her action was life barrenness. When people open up about their past to you, if it is personal to you, you need to forgive them and forget about it; if it is in the body of Christ, you must respect them and counsel them rightly. Do not reproach or despise people when they open up about their past or immediate sins. The mystery is that, the person who repents and confesses will be free from that sin, no matter how terrible, but the person who hears and refuses to forgive or who reproaches will carry the whole consequences of the sin and will be seen as sinner before God.

The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 5: 22 that we should not partake in another man's sin. One of the various means of partaking in another man's sin is by hearing and despising, gossiping or spreading it to other person. How will someone else commit sin and you will be the person to carry the punishment? We should be very careful. If you refuse to forgive somebody because they open up to you, you urgently need to freely forgive, and when you forgive, you need to forget about it; if you have despised people in the body of Christ because they open up, you need to repent and ask for God's forgiveness.

A member may only need to confess to close brethren, immediate leader and pastor; a leader will need to confess to close brethren and the pastor, and the pastor will notify the necessary people. A pastor will need to confess to the brethren, or the whole church as the case may be.

Who Carries The Consequences?
When a Christian confesses his sin to necessary people, he has nothing to lose since he has repented and decided never to go back into such sin again, and because God has forgiven him; so confessing to necessary people brings no shame but God's blessings. But there is something very important which we really need to look into. When a brother or sister confesses their sins to one another, they humble themselves for God to honor them, so they are totally free from such sin and no more consequence, now or later. But the issue is that, the people who hear the confessions or whom they inform about the sins need to be very careful, so as not to carry the load of those sins on their own heads. When somebody confesses sin to you as a result of his rededicated Christian life, you must not hold it against the person, you must not reproach the person, and you must not disregard or disrespect the person. Why? Because the person who confesses his past or a particular sin to you does that to honor God's word, so if you despise, you are not actually despising the person but God whom the person honors his word.

Let's look at a story from the Bible:
2 Samuel 6:14-17, " Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart."

Verses 20-23, "Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. 22 And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.” Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death."

Michal despised King David because he humbled himself before God, because he honored God; and the consequence of her action was life barrenness. When people open up about their past to you, if it is personal to you, you need to forgive them and forget about it; if it is in the body of Christ, you must respect them and counsel them rightly. Do not reproach or despise people when they open up about their past or immediate sins. The mystery is that, the person who repents and confesses will be free from that sin, no matter how terrible, but the person who hears and refuses to forgive or who reproaches will carry the whole consequences of the sin and will be seen as sinner before God.

The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 5: 22 that we should not partake in another man's sin. One of the various means of partaking in another man's sin is by hearing and despising, gossiping or spreading it to other person. How will someone else commit sin and you will be the person to carry the punishment? We should be very careful. If you refuse to forgive somebody because they open up to you, you urgently need to freely forgive, and when you forgive, you need to forget about it; if you have despised people in the body of Christ because they open up, you need to repent and ask for God's forgiveness.

THE DOCTRINES OF DEMONS: Faith Without Work

Faith in God without working righteousness in God is dead, such faith is of same level with the faith of demons, and such churches and preachers who teach that all you need is faith in God and His righteousness without you pleasing God in righteous living are teaching doctrines of demons. Demons believe there is God, they believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and they tremble. Mark 5:7, “And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

So you believe there is God? Devil and demons do. You believe Jesus Christ is Lord? Devil and demons do believe also, they even tremble before God which many “so called” Christians don’t. So what makes difference between your faith and demons’ faith if your faith lacks work of righteousness?

One of the doctrines of demons of this end time is faith without work; it teaches to just believe, confess and cash, but such faith never produces righteousness or holy living in such believers; they are loud in their confessions, they claim to be the righteousness of God, but they lack fruit of righteousness. Apostle Paul warned of such believers, preachers and churches, “having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy3:5.

HE HEARD SOUNDS OF PEOPLE SCREAMING IN HELL

Do you know why Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, quit deep sea diving sometime before he died? It is said that he stopped because he had heard in one of the underwater caves he was exploring, the sounds of people screaming.

There was also another time, when one of his men, who was in a diving bell in the deepest trench at the Bermuda Triangle, also had a similar experience. He signalled to be brought up immediately. After being revived from his shock, he told others of his frightening experience of hearing people's screams while under the deepest part of the sea.

Millions of careless souls are rushing to hell daily, eternity of damnation, don't be among them. Surrender to Jesus and live your life to please Him before it gets too late.

THE JOURNEY OF FAITH
6TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TODAY

Wow, exactly today Saturday April 20th 2019 marks 6 years of my wedding with my darling wife on Saturday April 20th 2013!

On Saturday, April 20th 2013, we started this journey by faith. Sometimes when I look back how we started I feared, because to many people it was a risky journey, many churches would not have allowed us, too risky. Both of us had no job, no business, no source of income, no accommodation.

In a short preparation for my wedding, I had so much faith for God's provision, I was like, "I am a full time Evangelist, working for the Most High God." When my wife was somehow worried of many things undone and few days to the wedding, no accommodation, and so many things to still settle, I would tell me wife-to-be, "Look, if a faithful servant of a king or a staff of President Jonathan (then) wanted to wed, will he lack anything good for his wedding? Now, I am a servant of God, and I am wedding, He will definitely provide for us abundantly. So don't worry."

2 days to the wedding as I was going to Idumota market in Lagos to buy leather bag for the wedding, a brother called me for the first time and said he had I was getting married, he prayed with me and shared how God provided for his wedding without borrowing a penny in the previous year. When I heard about his testimony, I laughed within me, I was like, "But my case is different here because, me, I'm borrowing money and not enough, I just borrowed about N100,000 few minutes ago from Sister Tolu Oshodi, and heading to market, and from there I'm going to Ojodu/Berger road to deposit for one abandoned room accommodation.

My case was not to testify of not borrowing, but let God just give me enough to borrow, if that is my case.

I had faith that God would show up miraculous financial provision before our wedding day, I told my fiancee not to worry, I told her family to relax, but here we are, 2 days to the wedding, nothing. "And here is a brother in the Lord sharing with me how God helped him in his own wedding without borrowing a penny, but I'm looking for money to borrow but not much available" I just laughed about it and went on, I knew my Redeemer lives.

God did not show up for my wedding for miraculous financial provision as I expected, but He is showing up in my marriage miraculously more than my expectation.

Brethren, what really matter is an expected end, not an expected beginning. The most important thing is to discover God's will and leading for your life - marriage, ministry, business, career, etc., then take steps and follow by faith, He is always faithful! Amen.

PASSING THROUGH PROBLEM? CALM DOWN
Matthew 26:53, “Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?”

You are passing through problems and difficulties; you have been praying that God should solve or remove the problem, but things have not changed. Then you are perplexed because God doesn't answer your prayer as you desire. You are so disturbed, thinking God does not love you? Thinking Jesus Christ is ignoring you? Do you think Jesus cannot talk to His Father and provide immediate solution? But how then will the scripture be fulfilled in your life for good?

In your present difficulties, do you think Jesus does not care for you so much? Do you think He does not has the power to send millions of angels to attend to you? But how will God’s special purpose be fulfilled in your life? What really matters to Jesus in your life is not the present problem you are passing through but for God’s peculiar purpose to come to pass in your life.

God planned the salvation of the world through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, no other way. If Jesus did not pass through Calvary to the cross, then there wouldn’t have been salvation for the world. In like manner God planned the promotion and greatness of Joseph by passing through problems and prison, if he didn’t pass through prison, he would not have come to palace; if he had compromised in sin at the Potiphar’s house, if he had been discouraged and gave up along the way, that would have brought God’s purpose for his life to an end.

And now is your turn. You are passing through several problems in your personal life, marriage, ministry, business, academy, finance; those problems are not God’s purpose for your life, they are just a passage by which you pass into God’s purpose in your life. God’s part is to be faithful to His promise, He did not need to show you the problem from the beginning, He didn’t show Joseph either, because He is not concern about the temporal problem, His concern is to fulfill His purpose which He has promised you. Your own part is to patiently wait and stay faithful to Him. Now, the question is, will you complain and compromise into sin for quick relief? Or will you continue and let God’s purpose come to pass in your life?

Why do you complain as if Jesus is not able to ask His Father for immediate provision for you? But how will the purpose of God come to pass in your life? You must care for God’s purpose coming to pass in your life, not complaining about the present condition which will soon pass away. Sometimes, I felt like, “God, why will you allow me passing through this tough time, it is getting too much for me.” But then God gave me this message, I have to encourage myself in the Lord and hold on. It is not easy to hold on in this present life when everything is moving fast, but since God controls time and season, our waiting on Him will not make our season to expire until His special promises comes to pass. He is never too late. You may say, “But it is late already, time has really gone on me.” The truth is that, when we wait on God, He turns the “late” to “latest” since He is in charge of the universe.

Do not compromise God’s scripture, do not compromise God’s standard; persevere in prayer and persist in purity. As God is working great things for you which eyes have not seen, He is only making you to pass through situation to make you strong, He is only making you to experience difficulties to do you good at the end. If you wait faithfully on God and serve Him, the fire you pass through will not burn you but refine you. The end result is what really matter, and God is the Beginning and the End. So wait on Him, watch in prayer, Bible reading and godliness, and working for Him; no complaining and no compromising into sin.

Psalm 66:10-12
For You, O God, have tested us;
You have refined us as silver is refined.
11 You brought us into the net;
You laid affliction on our backs.
12 You have caused men to ride over our heads;
We went through fire and through water;
But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.
