Abeg ehnn!!! I get two dishes. Normal DSTV dish facing DSTV and another 60cm dish catching MultiTV and Infinity TV, all connected to 4669x with 1.22p using a SuperMax splitter  . My MultiTV gives me from JoyTV to Vox Africa and My Infinity TV gives me just 4 channels. I get some FTA on my DSTV. Now the question is this, are there any channels on these that show Premier League and is it possible to get more FTA channels, with my dishes facing these two directions? If so, what decoder settings should I manually scan. Thanks and regards.

U should get more 4 on infinity,just note the freq on which u are rx infinity then go to manual scan make sure u r on that same freq then press ok to rescan.other shuld come up.
Yes u can watch epl matches but u will need to do some modificatns on ur dishes to have multi lnb set ups then with the help of the life football thread here all u just do check to see if ur set up will air the matches.for the multi lnb setup pls kindly read(u go say i don come again) the 3 in 1 and the w4/w7-astra2b thread.as an engr. It wont be hard to actualise.i am saying this because am posting 4rm mobile phone hence im not able to post the links to the threads.hope u understand.4 other offline stuff,pls mail me as laying it bare may lead to legal issues.i guess thats 1 way of saying a lot.

@life707 nothing is impossible i have received Nilsat with 3M mesh Dish{Orbitron} from PortHarcourt using Fuji LNB.I got got more that a 100 channels and i am presently using it with Arabsat.

The HD channels uses MPEG4 and
the older decoders are only MPEG2
.
Mpeg4 are HD decoders.

I beg to differ sir. . .not all Mpeg4 are HD.but all HD decoders are (i think ) Mpeg4.
the 4669X for example is Mpeg4 but not HD,while the 4930 etc are Mpeg4 and HD.
stand to be corrected.

A lot of us started out this way, we just had to read before we could get it right. For you to get a better grasp of things just seek out those of the forum members in your area, call them and i'm sure they will be willing to help you.

thanks for the info.i thot the 1.22p would do the trick and was ready to move to it despite the "mytv" logo, . .well with 1.21 stand.untill . . .

did you update the box,if yes then there maybe something wrong with the patch. . .if no then was it behaving like this with other inputs if no then you may need to do factory reset.after that try again.

Help! what is the function of the 'loop out' behind the srt4669x? can it be used with other decoders?

good Question. . .the loop out function is to sends signals form your receiver(the master receiver now) to another one (which is the slave).
the signals from the master is what the slave will utilize there cant be any change from what the master is showing.
and yes you can loop out signals to another receiver.
