It's possible that your sensor on the box is bad or dislodged, have you guys by any chance dropped the boxes?
if yes then you need to take it to an expert possibly the mytv guys or a very good and reputable repair shop so that it can be tested and (if bad) replaced.

I did follow your steps on my 69x without success.the video of the box has only mpeg 1/2 and h264 options but audio has about 4 options. So i did try a video with 4 audio options then the next video option with d 4 audios.i still did not get audio on inf switch.btw my sw version is 1.09p.

i think this new audio format is a way to sort of restrict the viewer's pleasure. or what do you think.
BTW have you been able to nail the channels with a Mesh dish?

i was made to understand by a write up i read today that it is better to have a dbox 2 since the 1 version is rather outdated now.
for the rs323 cable . . .just check the forums and there is a link on how to make An RS232cable.
the bdm i know nothing much about.

i think that it has a lot of benefit . . but the most important is that it increases the (quality)signal strength of the STB
for instance infinity was always @34% before upgrading now i get it @75-80%.

i quite agree with you because i have tried all i could on my 2.6mesh dish without success. . .so please anybody with a mesh dish who has tried and nailed it should please let us know how he/she did it.

i just did not bother myself with the audio stuff on switch since i know that until the Aac codec/decoder is in-cooperated into the strong firmware,Getting audio on the 69x and below will be a mirage.

Oga seun if you had read about 5 or 6 posts up you would have seen where i told bolyjay to download 7-zip and use it to unzip the file.
then you should copy the file to a flashdrive. . . and i mean a Very good flash drive. Insert the flAsh drive into the usb port of the decoder.
go to menu>Installation>usb scroll to the file in your USB drive.press ok wait till it finishes downloading/updating.

PLS DO THIS WITH A GENERATOR OR OTHER SOURCE OF POWER AS PHCN MAY NOT BE RELIABLE.

U dont need winzip it will be too heavy 2 download mayb dat is y d cafe guys declined.just get 7zip.it is smaller and will download b4 u knw it.install it then right click on the file. u can now extract from d 7zip sub menu.

I hope the managenent of daarsat has learnt some lesson
