All, warning! Pls guys wit 4669x don't use it to blind on pas7/10ku there is a particular freq 12640 IF U SCAN DIS FREQ IT WIL SHUT your BOX DOWN. It happened 2me lastnit but tank God I was able to revive it bak. Hop dis kind of viral freq is not spread to other sat.

Well here is the problem,
the fact that the guy in question has already tempered with it will not make it easy for the mytv dealers to collect it from you,otherwise i would have told you to take it to them.

the next best thing to do is to get it back from him and look for a reputable technician in town,explain to him your predicament and let us see what happens.

i know that it is not easy but if you realize that things are not going as planned just close your eyes and save to get a new one. because at the end of it all you may discover that you are spending much more money to repair the box.

Loveworld plus is on the infinity package on astra 2b. But it's on mpeg4 as you can see from the picture below

also search 4 'MPEGStream clip' it enables u to convert the .ts files to any format playable on the PC (real alternative is needed though).totalvconverter has some restrictions.

I have this Strong SRT4653X which I have been using over a year now but went off all of a sudden when I was tracking W4/W7 and never came on again. My question here is can this decoder still be fixed or this is the end of the decoder.

I beg make somebody help me with information cos one technician has been holding it for over a week now with different story.

it may be a power problem,Does it show any standby light (the red light) when plugged into power?if yes then it may be a software problem. if no then the power supply IC may be the culprit. take it to a very good repairer. it will be
fixed.

@freshp/lovala. The pix you saw on the general forum is for cascading diseqc switches using a 0/12v switch. The setup can deal with up to a maximum of 12 lnbs. My own set up is quite different as you do not need a 0/12v switch.

this trend 4rm the 69'x boxes is getting common.
Just delete TP's,restart the box,input the freqs again then rescan.make sure ur cables r firmly connected.all the best

i had the same experience with mine too.and i had to do as Amebo suggested.
the boy that brought it to me (a friend and my former installer ) had to delete Multi Tv frequency then re-keyed it in before it popped green.

i had to do it myself for other transponders in other positions for them to pop green.

What a strange scenrio on this freq 11.716v 3141sr, i got tbc kenya using my 4669x, then on the same freq while using 4663x a reverse was the case, ntv uganda, and at no time did i get the 2 channel s in the same decoder, is this normal or strange, oga george d and oga olofofo this one pass me ooo, The bird is eutelsat w4/w7

It is actually strange but its possible that the same provider is involved.(not sure anyway)
