SweetBuns:use facts to refute is 'drug-driven' claims instead of resorting to cheap blackmail. |
StillX10:After all, it is pagan celebration according to biblical and historical records as reaffirmed by Daddy Freeze. If not for politics, Buhari knows he was not suppose to congratulate you folks. |
DeHEIGHTS:My mumu friend how far na? Mr England, you of all people ought to know that in an academic environment any form of distraction or provocation need to be reduced to the best minimum by any means possible. It is an environment for learning not an environment for fashion or entertainment; even sane minds know what indecent dressing can cause. I am very disappointed in you to say the least: that a cerebral mind like yours couldn't see beyond the sleaze of these ills the school is trying to ward off. |
adewumiopeyemi:It's a school where you learn not a fashion parade ground. Most Nigerian youth just want to do and undo without being tamed. |
maxiuc:it is an academic environment not a fashion parade ground or an entertainment ground. If you are not comfortable to abide by the school rules, UNIIILORIN is not the only higher institution in the country. |
Lamasta:Yes. It is. You go to school to learn not to distract people . If you are outside the school premises you can walk naked nobody will stop if those outside will allow it. |
Jaqenhghar:Ma'am you are still getting this whole thing wrong. I never said indecent dressing was the 'only' reason for rape. I said it is a contributory factor not THE factor. Rape incident that happen Saudi Arabia can't be linked directly to indecent dressing like I mentioned in one of my replies. Factors such being in seclusion with a stranger and wanton intermingling these are the possible factors that can cause rape over there. I only mentioned indecent dressing according to the peculiarities in our clime(Nigeria) knowing our zero tolerance for it. Read my replies again. |
Osagyefo98:WHAT BROUGHT BUHARI AND AISHA INTO THIS MATTER NOW?
|
Earthbound:At the detriment of people's health? So you wouldn't mind if someone makes money off your back just to quench hunger. I feel it is highly encouraging if these sort of articles are produced to advice people against certain behaviour. With these sort of thing going on it will make the companies go into more research and produce more health-friendly consumables. If you recall some years back when groundnut oil were have high cholesterol in them, but today every groundnut oil producing company are now producing Cholesterol-free products. This is better for the citizens and as well as for the country. |
Lucifer66:What is wrong is wrong my guy. I know women are worst when it comes to this. But we can't all turn a blind eye to all these abnormalities lest we turn our society to a society of perverts . But sometime na una dey curse aboki people when they use kettle clean themselves but una no dey clean una sef. Be like the Aboki. |
AryEmber:I. taya oh. Almost the whole society has gone nuts. Indecent behaviour is now gaining more approval rating than ever before. |
Esseite:
|
Esseite:Oga LIE-nus Mbaaaa! You are just lie and keep lying and everyone is looking at you. I wish I know you your address I will personally hand over a plaque to your for your lying expertise. From Atiku to aide coming from one mouth? I dey fear you,but I no run. |
34webers:Bros, stop. wasting you time with a lamb that has already been led to the slaughter. You know there is one habit with liars. When they are caught they lie another lie to save the first lie, and when you keep fishing out their lies their resort to more lies. The guy is an incurable liar. They are the biblical :seeing they see not, hearing they hear not. |
Esseite:I ashamed of you that you couldn't stick to the topic without dragging your political enemies to the guillotine. The topic was Atiku claimed he was on phone with the late colonel's wife which the woman openly denied and you think it is the Nigeria Army who is at fault? We are in serious mess if these are the educated folks we are producing. |
Jaqenhghar: Jaqenhghar: Jaqenhghar:Madam, you brought up the West as an ideal example and I gave you a reply to that effect. If indecent dressing does not contribute to rape then how come the most indecently dressed nation of the world (America) have more rape cases as each year goes by, if we were to apply your logic that indecent dressing is not a contributory factor. You can't call one fish and the other foul. There has to be a line of difference. We know Saudi Arabia to be religious country and I can tell you for free that the reported cases of rape are the least in the world because the society is well regulated :you don't dress the way you like simply because it is your body or intermingle with men just the way you like. They understand it is more safer for the women to abide by these rule knowing not all men are sane enough to control themselves. Please, I am not saying you should not dress the way you like, but don't complain if anything happens to you. This is Africa not America. Bring your examples let us discuss them. ![]() Jaqenhghar: Jaqenhghar: Jaqenhghar:Madam, you brought up the West as an ideal example and I gave you a reply to that effect. TarOrfeek:Uncle,Brother ,Papa, Daddy no worry. It is better to be 'enslaved' with Buhari than under Atiku |
Tomis954:I don't believe in praising people in political positions for doing their job. After all, they are being paid to do this and they swore an oath to. that effect. whether it is PDP. or APC I don't care,as far Nigerians are benefiting. |

YURI GRIPAS—AFP/Getty Images By SAMANTHA COONEY September 27, 2016 The number of rapes reported to law enforcement increased for the second straight year in 2015, according to statistics released by the FBI on Monday. From 2014 to 2015, the number of reported rapes—using the FBI‘s legacy (as in, outdated) definition of rape, per its website, as “the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will”—rose by 6.3%. There were 90,185 rapes reported in 2015, up from the 84,864 reported in 2014 and the 82,109 reported in 2013. The FBI altered its definition of rape in 2013 to include, per its website, “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” These new numbers don’t necessarily mean that more people are being raped—they mean that more rapes are being reported to law enforcement. According to statistics from the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, 2 out of 3 sexual assaults won’t be reported to police. From the above can we agree that even rape still occur despite the so-called liberation of women by the way they choose to dress. We can't keep acting as if these are just some figures pulled out from thin air. Even your beautiful America is not left out of the rape culture. Deal with this. And I even read Nicki Minaj knew boyfriend was a rapist. Are women not ''well dressed'' in your 21st century West? Are the numbers of rape cases going down because we are in 21st century? If you want us to play thisgutter game of pulling out all the dreadful stats that are there I am more than ready to oblige. "God's own country"-America couldn't help this from stopping. gloria34:Madam I am sorry for the ordeal you suffered years ago from those animals. But it does not still detract from the fact that indecent dressing is also a contributory factor. Yiu can't rule that out, if a girl bares her cleavage and exposes are thighs in seclusion with a stranger whom she does not know, then there are high chances the man if he has been used to sleeping with ladies violently or may even try to get down with the lady forcefully. This is why I said in one of my post that ladies should avoid intermingling with males especially youths(their blood too dey hot). I, personally do not like being in a secluded area with a lady I am not related to or even married to because I can't really trust myself (I am not saying I am rapist, God forbid) because most of us easily get tempted and many things can happen within that short time. In all, I do not support rape but ladies should learn to avoid secluded places and wear something decent lest you attract flies (rapist) who would do anything to get underneath. You guys have more role to play than you wouldn't want to admit We pray Almighty God keep on protecting all our female folks who are still decent from marauding animals. |

DeHEIGHTS:No, but na this idiot they in charge of English examination for Nairaland . |
DeHEIGHTS:No. |
Jaqenhghar:Old news- 21st century BS. How has your 21st century ideology created a better world ?. Your 21st century has virtually turned women to nothing but sex objects and objects of gratification which are like a disposable commodities and sold to the highest bidder like a piece of property . for your information, I will gladly remain in Nigeria than to be in a place where immorality rules. |
Onyi22:You support her? SMH. What even guarantees you that he will remain forever or be faithful. This is whey this generation will never stop marrying for the wrong reasons. |
Jaqenhghar:Shithole reasoning because it does not suit your ever erratic reasoning. Tomorrow I won't be surprised if people like with your unshithole reasoning tell women to walk nude in the streets. I know your type you don't need to tell me. say no more. |
DeHEIGHTS:I don't need to decipher any rubbish from you to know the kind of person you are. People like you are so full of themselves that they see others has insignificant. And your type are so abound and I know you have this insatiable penchant for scrutinising people's statements just to prove that you are 'well educated' or better than others. I am wondering how your oral dexterity or eloquence of your slave masters language has saved lives. I have interacted with Americans and English people alike for. many years now on facebook and none of them have said my English is bad;only for one know-it-all oblong head to spite me because in his miserable life a Muslims or anybody from the north is not suppose to speak or write in English language effectively in his colonial masters language. Because his father and people from wherever he is from have the sole right to accept or banish those who can and can't speak or write in English. How convincing. If my writing pattern does not suit your inflated ego,you can go bang your head on a nuclear reactor for all I care. Nonsense tisha(pun intended) |
Firebomber:I like the way you come around defending every lie, even though the odds are clearly against you(with no biblical evidence) Like I opined before, I knew people like you will crawl out with the old and used argument that "they were many things that were not recorded which Jesus did in the bible" I hear. Imagine, even the most prominent thing(Christmas) in Christendom was not worthy of mention in just one single line in your bible, not even a hot or a tittle. And yet, what is known with the ungoldly have now gained real unabated endorsement for learned and the laity. How convincing! When I tell people Christianity is not a religion but a commercial pastime meant to further expand the capitalist ideology some will think I am being a bigot. Just look around you and you will see the hypocrisy wafting here and there . |
