Even Buhari says he has completely removed subsidy and argued with us that Under recovery is not the same as subsidy and now you are saying something else

Understand what happen when the crude is around 28 - 30 USD per barrel, that's when Subsidy is removed and the PMS price is N145 per liter.

As times goes on the crude price rises to 50 - 60 and the PMS without Subsidy will be more than N200 per liter.

So NNPC buy the oil at higher price (>N200) and sell it at lost (N130 +) to wholesalers and you buy it at N145 maximum.

NNPC is Subsidizing the PMS unlike before that you have to pay the marketers Subsidy. Today NNPC is the only importer of refined petroleum products.

So Subsidy exist else the Petrol price will be N200+

Business / Ghanaian Traders Lock Shops Belonging To Nigerians & Other Foreigners by FriendNG: 12:48am On Nov 05, 2019
Ghanaian traders at Opera Square in Accra on Tuesday locked up shops belonging to foreign nationals involved in retail business. Most of the shops are believed to belong to Nigerians.

This is the third time such an incident is happening at the same venue; the most recent was in July this year. It is unclear the number of shops that were closed today.

“According to what I heard, over 50…maybe less. We are not sure,” said Chukuemeka Nnaji, President of the Nigerian Union of Traders Association of Ghana.

Citinewsroom, however, reports over 50 shops had been locked up by midday.

The Ghanaian traders said the activities of the foreign nationals contravene Section 27 of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Act 865. The law bars foreign nationals from:

1. The sale of goods or provision of services in a market, petty trading or hawking or selling of goods in a stall at any place

2. The operation of taxi or car hire service in an enterprise that has a fleet of less than twenty-five vehicles;

3. The operation of a beauty salon or a barbershop;

4. The printing of recharge scratch cards for the use of subscribers of telecommunication services; the production of exercise books and other basic stationery;

5. The retail of finished pharmaceutical products;

6. The production, supply and retail of sachet water; and

7. All aspects of pool betting business and lotteries, except football pool.

The traders say they are forced to carry out the operations following the government’s failure to enforce the GIPC laws.

“If police will not do it, we will do it ourselves,” said one of the traders. “It has been many years since we started this activity, the Police is not willing to help us. So we have to help ourselves, protect our laws.”

This action comes just four days after a similar operation was carried out by members of GUTA in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

Myjoyonline.com reports that several shops belonging to Nigerians in at least five markets in Kumasi were locked up last Thursday.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), Albert Offei, had told Joy News last Thursday the action would soon be extended to other parts of the country.

I watch him countless time calling himself Igbo. He even said that nobody can denied that he is Igbo. So I am more inclined to believe him than you. If you want I can search the video for you.

For one to think that PDP will deny Atiku ticket in 2023 after spending billions of naira in the last election, is just a waste of thought. Talking of Tambuwal, he unveiled his political strength in the last Guber election and I don't need to emphasize more. As for Kwankwaso, with all the noise he made with his Kwankwasiya's political group, he couldn't win his senatorial district. So I think Atiku, though age will not be on his side then, might have the stuff. Even though, which ever way it goes, it is a win win for the North.

Kwankwaso did not contest for Senate.
