And so? Boasting the world fastest computer doesn't make a country a global Phenomenon.

Less you forget, Russia is the only country in the world with a working Space station, and so one would think they should be one of the fore-runners in modern technology manufacturers. But that is not the case. In stead we have Japan, Germany, United States, France, UK and South Korea taking the front seat.
United Arab Emirates have the world tallest building, but that doesn't make them home of Sky Scrappers. That would be Hong Kong and New York City.

China having the world fastest computer is just like one of those isolated incidents I mentioned above that have absolutely no impact whatsoever in how the rest of the world views the country. It doesn't change the country's economy so thus, doesn't make a global impact.

And nobody is criticizing Techno brands for been a budget phone. It does what a low-end phone is suppose to do and do it well. No more, no less. But when the TECHNOCRATS(That's what they call themselves) start to throw their low budget phones around and in the faces of the high-end users, claiming that Techno is actually better, then tempers are bound to flare, and bugs(Techno) are destined to be squashed.

Muslim countries routinely discriminate against those of other faiths, but Muslims living in non-muslim states never hesitate to instigate riots and worldwide chaos whenever they feel their own rights are being infringed (and often for no reason at all.)

Of course, most religions have their fanatics, but the dangerous ones are almost always Muslim.

You made some very strong points that I really don't know how to defend seeing that I'm not a Muslim myself. But I want stress again that most of those religious killings has more to do with culture and politics than religion. It just happens to occur more frequent in the Islamic world than others.

Since when did China became the whole of Asia? Since you obviously skipped your geography classes, let me educate you.

The continent of Asia can be classified into 3: Middle east, Far east and East.

In Middle east you find countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and so on.

In east you find countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and so on.

In Far east you find countries like South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam and so on.

In the far east, Japan and South Korea are fore runners when it comes to Electronics, automobiles and Ship building. China has only of recent started to come of age, but haven't quite reached that lofty standard that Japan and Korea are currently enjoying.

Samsung is made in South Korea, which is a different country from China. And all their products are more patronized globally than the Chinese products. Kia, Hyndai, Daewoo, Samsung, and L.G are all Korea products that have attained world class status.

Tell me one single Chinese product that is known for it's quality and durability.

I remembered one incident in my secondary school days. I was in geography class and we were talking about the Middle East. The teacher then asked us if we knew what the capital of Pakistan was and some idíot in class blurted out something that sounded like "Islam is bad". The whole classroom erupted into laughter, even the tutor joined in.

I remembered laughing so hard that my stomach ached. But then I was young and stupid and ignorant of the ways of the world, and so were the rest of my classmates.

Which is why nowadays I find it baffling when an adult in prime of his life in all seriousness find time to say or write the same sort of crap that an half-arsèd teenager jokingly blurted out.
