Speaking about airports, do you know Obi responded to demands for Anambra to build it's own airport that the state did not have land for such project.

He will later secretly allocate land for an airport project only to hand the land to a private developer who sold the lands to members of the public to build their homes.

The community petitioned Obiano over the land they donated to the govt for the airport project being encroached on by an estate developer.

Every attempt to secure their community land backfired as the developer provided docs showing that obi had allocated the land to the developer.

This is why Obiano had to seek another land for the airport project which Obiano did and duly completed that project.

Today , Obi flies into Onitsha using that same airport he said the state could not build owing to scarcity of land .

The Niger Bridge is a federal asset and not owned by APC. The ruling should also come with the caveat that should any other presidential candidate's poster be pulled down, the minister will be held culpable and will face the full brunt. In a country where there is rule, this is how to deal with reckless politician whose only ambition is to instil fear and intimidate the opposition to remain relevant while looting the national treasury. No one is going to invest in a totalitarian police state and they are definitely not going to be investing in real estate there either.

Rwanda growth is relative when compared to were they where a few years back.

And most of the investments driving that economy are from western institutions who are using Rwanda as a launchpad into carving and securing rare earth mines in the DRC which is next door .

As per Tanzania , the country's growth is driven by Chinese investments in mining sector and it is still relative when compared to Nigeria's own growth.

If an economy of $10b has an annual growth of 5% and another economy of $500bn is recording just 2% is still does not mean the $10bn economy is better than the $500bn one.

In retrospect, Japan has an economy worth $3 to $4 trillion but it still has been recording negative growth.

The issue you also left out is that Rwanda and Tanzania rely on taxes and levies paid to govt to run their country.

Can that be said of Nigeria ?

lol I must admit that there are tribal sentiments in my writeup but however, those are facts! Check all my replies I never said southwest doesn’t produce crude oil. I said that ondo figures are false and I stand by my statement that Lagos doesn’t currently produce any oil. Someone have already addressed that point showing that the Lagos aje field have technically dried up and currently not in production.

I continue to mention imo oil wells ceded to rivers because wike begged the governor for them to share revenues from those wells but the governor refused and insisted on total recovery which led the case to Supreme Court ( we know wike heavy influence on Nigeria judiciary) and unfortunately imo state lost. These wells are in imo state and I know that because the affected wells are in my local government.

I also never said that Lagos oil wells belongs to Akwa Ibom, you might want to read my replies well to understand what I was saying.


Cross river was formerly an oil producing state but after the oil producing area of bakassi peninsula was ceded to cameroun and akwa ibom took them to court to recover disputed offshore fields, cross river ceased to be an oil producing state and doesn’t receive 13% derivation. Same with Lagos state after the aje field dried up Lagos stopped being an oil producing state and doesn’t receive 13% derivation.

My anger here is that a lot of south west media houses has the habit of manipulating oil production statistics when they knew it was entirely false. There was no time Lagos ever produced 40k barrels even at the aje field peak production. There was also no time Lagos received more derivation than imo state. But for some unknown reasons (well, we know the reason) they just keep peddling this falsehood and presenting it as facts just like the op did with this thread.

I recall this particular case very well.

The Supreme court had established that disputed oil wells were rightly in Rivers state.

Hope then started calling for referendum on the disputed areas to be joined to Imo by claiming they are Ibos and so ought to be Imo and not Rivers.

Hope even went to court to compel the FG to stop disbursing oil revenue until a referendum is concluded in the now settled disputed areas.
