You are not serious. Do you think it's easy to learn a new language. Op you better book your ticket to united kingdom and leave Germany. Personally, I won't even dream of going there because of the same language issue.go to UK dear. You'll even make more than that £15k as savings while still in school. Talkless of how much you will make with the 2 years after school. Just go to the UK. Once you finish, start looking for care jobs. You'll get you PR in no time brother.
1. Germany has the highest pay in Europe.

2. Taxes in Germany are still far better than UK.

3. Learning to speak fluent German is better than moving to UK to invest his hard earned money pursuing another worthless degree.

He is better getting a trade apprentice job in Germany and picking up his German than going to the UK to waste his time and resources in the UK.

Also, don't forget AI. The OP is not in any position to negotiate as his area of study is already obsolete.

He should stick to Germany where he has invested 6ys of his life.

Learning to speak German fluently or wasting his hard earned money on a useless degree in the UK with no possible future professional employment , which is easier ?

It is very easy to criticize for this language thing, especially german, until you find yourself in his shoes.
I lived that life, it is not easy.. You are managing language learning with demanding graduate school-masters in germany is a different story altogether. You still need to work, unfortunately mostly limited to the stressful factory jobs. Learning german is not easy when you are under work permit limitation and pressure.
Isn't that why they insist on a one year language course before you begin your studies ?

I understand that it's one thing to be fluent in writing and reading a language and a whole different ball game when it comes to being fluent in speaking it but the OP did not try at all.

He seems antisocial to not have been able to use the 6ys to practice speaking Deutsch.

Spend 6ys in Germany and can't speak the language is an abomination.

I believe his problem isn't the language but cultural shock that he can't shake off for 6ys.

Use £15k from there, go to the UK to pursue an MBA. It's one year. After that, you'll be given 2 years to work. You can get a care job. They will get you your permanent residency.
OP, do not even consider this option.

Spend £15k on some useless paper degree that you will never get professional employment with and end up working same shitty and worse paying job than what you are currently engaged with in Germany.

OP, get an apprentice job in German industry.

You will thank me later.

Hi all. My name is Sydney and I’m a Nigerian living in Hamburg. I need advice on next course of action for my life. I came to Germany from Nigeria some 6 years ago for my masters. I finished finally in 2025 after so many ups and downs. I couldn’t find a professional job afterwards and my visa expires this year end, although I’m finding ways of renewing for few extra months by telling them I couldn’t find job.

I’m 40 unmarried but fortunately has been able to save around 60m naira.

Please, I need the OGs in the house to advice me on a good English speaking country I can relocate to which will be my final bus stop as I’m tired of moving around.

Although I acknowledge I made a mistake here by not learning the language (I’m in A2 but can barely speak). I’m thinking of Canada but not too certain.

My background is in a business course / economics (bachelors second class lower).
I’m still doing research though but I need people who have been in my shoes to kindly advise. I can barely sleep, thinking about next steps. I work and save around 900 euros monthly but it’s not a professional job and very stressful.

Thanks.
Stay in Germany and learn a skilled trade.

There's no future for people with your skillset.

AI has taken over .

Germany has one of the best trade schools.

Get into electrical , cooling system trade.

This is going to be the next big thing .

90% of jobs will become obsolete in the next 5ys .

This why Trump is deporting Mexicans because they are the ones doing manual jobs Americans won't do.

So Trump is getting rid of Mexicans so that the soon to be jobless Americans can do the jobs Mexicans were doing.

Get into trades. Or use the money you have saved up and get a commercial drivers license (CDL) and be a truck driver .

The pay is good and you get to travel round Europe.

Once AI comes fully AGI , it's lights out for 90% of jobs out there.

You are so ignorant of this war.

The Ukraine had been in a civil war to stop the ethnic Russians in the Eastern regions from living Ukraine and to join Russia.

Russia only stepped in after the Ukraine unleashed the kosher Nazis in Azov on the ethnic Russian population.

You do know that the Eastern regions of Donetsk and Lugansk had voted in a referendum to leave Ukraine to join Russia after the maiden coup ?

Electricity transmission along the Kainji-Birnin Kebbi corridor has been disrupted after strong winds and heavy rainfall reportedly caused the collapse of a major transmission tower. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, saying the damage affected the 330kV Kainji-Birnin Kebbi transmission line. The company subsequently declared force majeure on the affected line, citing the natural disaster responsible for the damage. Transmission Line Trips Twice According to TCN, the affected line, identified as 2KNJ-BRK1, tripped at about 10:44pm on Monday, September 7. An attempt was made to restore the line at approximately 11:07pm, but the line tripped again. Following the second incident, TCN deployed linesmen from its Birnin Kebbi Sub-Region to inspect the transmission corridor and establish the cause of the fault. The inspection team later discovered that Tower T367 had collapsed. > “Preliminary findings indicate that the collapse of the tower was caused by heavy winds and rainstorms experienced in the area,” TCN said. TCN Begins Restoration Efforts The collapsed tower has disrupted the transmission of bulk electricity through the 330kV Kainji-Birnin Kebbi corridor. TCN said it had commenced arrangements to move personnel, equipment and other required materials to the affected location for the reconstruction of the tower. The company said the exercise is aimed at restoring normal bulk electricity transmission along the corridor as quickly as possible. Alternative Route Maintains Power Supply Despite the damage to the transmission line, TCN said it had been able to maintain electricity transmission to Sokoto through an alternative route. According to the company, the Talata Mafara-Sokoto corridor was receiving electricity through another transmission route from the Kaduna-Mando axis. The alternative arrangement utilises the 132kV Zaria-Funtua-Gusau transmission line, helping to maintain power supply to affected areas while restoration plans are being implemented. TCN Apologises to Consumers TCN apologised to electricity consumers and other stakeholders for the disruption caused by the incident. The company assured the public that it was taking steps to restore normal bulk electricity transmission on the affected Kainji-Birnin Kebbi corridor as soon as possible. Access Premium News

So that transmission line on the national grid is dedicated to only serving Abia state abi.

And a collapse of one of their transmission towers a few days back is why Abia state hasn't seen electricity for 3 months now

The fact that you are in total prolonged darkness running for 3 months straight in that your Abia is enough proof.

Your geometric power plant is not making money to be able to carry out simple maintenance and repairs on their gas plants owing mainly to massive debt they are owed by the state govt and consumers alike.

And geometric does not have the funds to supplement power supply from the national grid for its customers .

Remain in darkness where you are

Only your state , Abia is under a prolonged total darkness for 3 months now

That is enough proof.

I have to spell it out for you so you don't go and blame Tinubu for why your state is in darkness.

Every other state is experiencing an improvement in power supply.

Why is it only Abia that cut itself off from the National grid that is experiencing total darkness?

There's a reason why Abia state has been under darkness for 3 months now.

Are other states in the polity who are still connected to the national grid complaining of total prolonged power outages going for 3 months ?

The problem is Abia thinking they can do without national grid.

Now that the geometric power company has gone bankrupt mainly due to a terrible customer base and a major client refusing to live up to their obligations , and the fact that the company can not even afford to buy power from the national grid until they restore power generation is reason for why Abia is the only state in the entire country witnessing a 3 month total power outage.

https://www.nairaland.com/8736440/why-gas-supply-problems-holding
The reason there's no gas supply to Abia power is because the state as a whole both govt and private are owing Abia power heavily.

The company is on the fringe of insolvency and their gas suppliers have cut them off.

In electricity generation, scaling up generation and increasing customer base, is the only way to both lower prices for customers and make a descent profit for the electric company.

Abians are too dirt poor to pay the commiserate tarrifs to sustain operations at its current scale and that's why the dwarf committed to subsidizing the power rates by buying all the bulk power produced by the energy plant . This is exactly what the FG is doing with GENCOs.

Note that the agreement with the Abia power plant cut Abia state from the national grid and handed Abia power govt subsidized monopoly

Now the govt isn't meeting their agreement with the power company, the power company is complaining of private users not paying their debt due to meter bypassing.

So Abians are stuck with an insolvent power company that can't afford to carry out simple routine maintenance and pay the gas bills to generate electricity

Abia state now has no redundancy as they are no longer on the national grid.

Abia power could buy from the national grid and supply to Abians but they don't have the money.

This is a case of pure hare brained planning without making redundancy considerations, a poor consumer base and a state govt that can't and won't keep up to it's obligations.

Are these people still in darkness and they kept quiet? Suffering and smiling. I thought they said it would be sorted out in one week. These people are funny ooo.
That's their way.

The people of Orsu close mouth for years and could not complain of Ipob atrocities because it was them that invited the terrorists and provided them an enclave in their community.

When the terrorists started killing them they could not talk until it became unbearable

People who owned buildings were forced by ESN/BLA to pay monthly ground rent and tax to the terrorists .

Those who refused had their properties vandalized and burnt to the ground.

Their women and girls were abducted by the terrorists and kept as sex slaves and still yet they did not complain.

Even young boys ended up being abducted by the criminals who are mostly hardened convicts who escaped from prisons across the SE and were using their boys as sex slaves as well

They have a way of masking the true horrors of every day life in that their corner and will lie blatantly to anyone not from their region of how peaceful and bountiful things are in same SE.

But when people like me who have stayed and gone round the SE tell them that we have lived in the SE and provide proof of it , they will never boat before you ever again.
