SEFAGO:You are so clueless Ogbomosho is in Oyo, DK is from Ogbomosho I know that Lautech thingy can be confusing You this Ajebo wey no sabi nada |
^^^ You are nuts! Instead of agreeing with your Ibo peeps on how to better the country, you are in denial that there is no eastern region. Yes, there is and you are from there |
foyeks2001: |
OAM4J:Eti bere si n p'ogede? I fear for you oooooooooooooooooooooooo If I have ever offended you, please forgive me ooooo |
SEFAGO:^^^ You'd better retrace your steps back to Niger before its too late Bank Anthony is from Ogun, not Lagos. Check your facts Same as how you mistook Ciroma for Prof. Gambari yesterday. SEFAGO, you are better of allowing adults to talk. |
naijababe:Is it 98% they say or 99.95? The last time I heard Ezeuche saying 99.9 or something |
Tee_Jay:Mobolaji Bank Anthony? |
Jarus:I am going to give it a shot: nuhu ribadu what? Nuhu Ribadu own two houses abroad from stole money from Nigeria govt while in government. according to the EFCC. does that look to you like change. Even according to Sowore. Tinubu was involve in drug deal and money lundry in the USA. That is according to sowore. I dont know if sahara reporter is saying the truth. The way you would know if Tinubu had problem in the USA, is to get a police report on tinubu in the USA. or look for FOI. Tinubu needs to make his police report in the USA public Unadulterated Batu, I tell ya |
Tee_Jay:Who is your dad? |
ezeagu:WTF? |
Katsumoto:With all due respect, arrant nonsense. I know where you are coming from I am not going to argue with you on this. I knew you'd jump in. Another time katz. Another time! |
^^^ Because the Yoruba language is superior to the Igbo |
dayokanu:Eku, Aigbofa and Toyin are all from Ife by origin and you can always trace their history to Ife. In a way, they are Ife indigenes and the Omi in their name can only be traced back to Ife, and not Ekiti. Ekiti has her origin from Ile-Ife (the cradle land of Yorubaland). The Olofin, one of the sons of the Oduduwa had sixteen (16) children and in the means of searching for the new land to develop, they all journeyed out of Ile-Ife as they walked through the Iwo - Eleru(crave) near Akure and had stop over at a place called Igbo-Aka(forest of termites) closer to Ile-Oluji. I tell ya, Omi as a last name is always Ife |
Obiagu1:Forget about it I dont see you amounting to anything in the future. What I see in you the future is you becoming another Kobojunkie. . . other than that, nothing more! |
dayokanu:Yes, unless you have other proofs. One of his nephews was my classmate at you know where. Other Ife names that start with OMI include Omiyale, Omidebedebe, Omiosefowora etc You can claim who ever you like, just dont claim Ominaju Adenike. It is a matter of time, as soon as we are able to cash her cheque, before the Ooni grants her a chieftaincy title. |
ROSSIKE:The people in government were once commoners too Until the people take responsibility for their actions, we will never move forward. Do something, dont just complain and whine and run people down like some people do day in, day out on NL here. |
eku_bear:LOL! never mind, she is now in the Yoruba column,Ife to be specific. We used to eat 'akare dele' together at Ilode junction when we were young, until she was adopted by a kind family in America Now glad to have finally reconnected with her! |
dayokanu:I disagree with you. Ominaju is an Ife name, like Omisore, Omisode, Omidina and the rest Please Adenike Ominaju is from Ilode house, I can take you to her 'agbole' next time we are in Nigeria together HEy people, Nicki Minaj is from Osun State , not Oyo. DK tryna claim my people. . . take time oooooo |
PhysicsRND:LOL. Quite dissapointed that you didnt get their tactics if you claim enough, you are bound to be justified eventually. Numbers game people. If I start claiming every famous American as Yoruba, believe me, I will be justified eventually What I have issues with is the attitude, smacks of low self esteem and personal character flaw of a whole ethnic group as it seems virtually all Ibos on this site enjoy claiming others. If its not, OBJ, its Obama, then Michelle Obama, them Rahm Emmanuel, then Michelle Obama's brother, and now Onika ![]() |
^^^ When did I insult you? |
Kobojunkie:Why are you shocked? Isnt that your stock in trade? |
jason123:And Yoruba people are how many? 10 000 Jason, sometimes it is best you kept your mouth sealed! |
^^^^ WHy? Are they trying to claim other people? |
tlops:One of the posters, Jenifa_ is from Latvia, but she is dating a Nigerian. I just wanted to make sure we are all clear about that! |
nwabobo:Can you all stop mentioning any of the SW states in your crap Who is claiming PE, Anabra, Abia or Delta Make up your mind people |
Ibo people, what is wrong with you all Why do you have the same name in three different states? And what the fork is Delta Igbo or Rivers Arochukwu, what kind of game is that Delta is delta, stop this crap. |
dayokanu: |
Kobojunkie has been living in America, first in Ohio, now in Dolton Chicago, for the past 40 years. She has lost touch with Nigerian politics, so forgive her for her ignorance. |
I think Oguntakes the cake in terms of sheer number and in the quality of the people, prolly then Anambra and after that Edo and then may be Lagos State. |
ROSSIKE:Hey, will you stop howling like a lost dog? I lived in Lagos all my life and looking back, I really cant point to a good road in Lagos. Yes, at this time, never compare Lagos with America because the attitude is different. Look here, the problem is not with the government, not with leadership, the problem here is with the general lackadaisical attitude of the common man. How many people in Lagos pay their taxes, how many of them do what is right. How many of them throw their pure water bag on the same street they bought it from after emptying its content? Go to the Onipanu expressway very early in the morning and at night, just before getting to Ketu, and go see for yourself how people shyyt on the road and use tissue papers and all sorts of things they use to clean up block the underground drainage system, I know this because I had seen it with my unaided eyes on too many occasions. And, most of these people arent your typical street urchins doing as they like, some are your typical secondary schools student, and others are office workers, who chose to deface the side walk, and in the process the drainage system, sometimes out of ignorance and at other times because they just couldnt be bothered to give a damn about the welfare and concerns of other road users like them. I remember listening to Asiwaju Awon Oloriburuku BAT sometimes in 2001 on LTV talking about the drainage issue on Ikorodu road, one of the better roads, and he pretty much analysed the poor state of the road to the attitude of the users. Most of the roads you are talking about all have UNDERGROUND drainage and sometimes depending on the locale pedestrian sidewalk. And, dont make it look as though all lagos roads are like that. Far from it, some places in Aguda, VI, Ikeja are a beauty to behold. Once the common man changes his attitude, something I dont see happening any time soon, things will change for the better. ROSSIKE:Thank God you are not the only one living in Lagos . I still remember when the street I used to live on in Somolu was for the first time being covered with asphalt after years of neglect, a major road for that matter, the people were happy and the joy in their faces could not be measured. At that point no one cared if the road was being done right, people were just happy to be getting some attention after years of neglect. And, yes, I was one of those happy people, after all I did not know better. Even though, the road reverted back to its old self after just a couple of weeks, we were glad to have it in a better shape even if it was just for a couple of weeks. To some people then, and I am sure it is still the same now, one wraps of 'eko' plus half moin-moin is always better than a bowl of 'eko' with no moin- moin. |

(No offeinse!)
It only sound's 'bizarre' if you want it to be. There are many things from Africa that can't be proven from this logic.
They are a majority group with over 30 million in Nigeria alone. That should never be questioned!
