Anyone who has successfully purchased either of these Samsung phones this year: S10, S10+, S20, S20+, Note 10 and Note 10 plus; please your input will be much appreciated.
Ps: please where and how did you get yours. |
Phones › This Phone Was A Beast Sadly I Need A New One by Ftheophilous(op): 8:49am On Oct 13, 2023*. Modified: 1:37pm On Oct 13, 2023 |
So, my phone screen got crushed this week and it has been hell trying to find a worthy replacement.
My phone fell from my hand into the open tiled road with the screen facing the ground and was immediately crushed by a moving keke. However, only the screen and the camera glass was damaged. The phone still works perfectly. I was even still getting calls but I couldn't pick them.
I am talking about Umidigi Bison 6GB RAM,128GB ROM that I bought for N78,000 in 2021. The phone spent a total of 2 years and 8 months with me and I loved our time together.
Although, I had to replace the battery in the middle of this year but this was the only time I had to repair the phone.
Now I am in the market for a worthy replacement but I'm just overwhelmed. The rising cost of the dollar against the Naira has not made it any easier too.
I am hoping to get the Samsung S or Note series. Preferably a new one but the S20 plus I saw on jumia feels like a refurbished one.
Any advice on where to get an original one will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ps: I am willing to sell the motherboard and battery of my former phone as replacement part for anyone interested. |

solomonbrown64: Happy New Month... fam.
My God! It's been 2 years plus since my last post here! Time flies indeed.
I had it in me to finish this tale but a lot of things beyond my control has held me back. I apologise for my failed promises and I'm still apologising for what is to come.
I checked through the literature section currently, and realised that things aren't what they used to be anymore. I mean gone were the days where interesting, well written tales of fiction graced the front page of this site. I don't know about you guys, but I haven't witnessed that in a while. That clearly shows the state of this section currently.
And it's not the fault of the readers but the writers. Many of us left our stories unfinished, and unfortunately, despite my promises, I have also joined that elite club.
It's very sad.
There's a Ray of hope though, as I have now decided to return.
It won't be with this story though as my fingers always fail me whenever I intend to type. Anita's sudden and painful demise still hurts like it happened just yesterday. I can't just bring myself to write about her. I just can't!
I am really sorry.
But I will make it to you guys with another tale of choices. I plan to start before the end of the year.
Honestly, life needs to return to this section and I would like to add my quota.
Anticipate folks!! Anticipation mode activated On a serious note, Oga Solo I have missed you personally. You're right though, the literature section isn't what it used to be when men like you graced this section. I have since stopped visiting this section until now. Anyway, it's good to have you back. Please don't disappoint us again o |

fryo4life: My younger brother was born on November 6th, 1996. He became 26 years old last year November. He is worried if he can still apply for bank graduate trainees vacancies in which the criteria for the fresh graduates is that they should be not more than 26 years old. Because he will be 27 years on November 6th this year. Just few month's to go.
Can he still be considered 26 years? Or is he above the age limit? Will he still be 26 at the completion of the training school? I was 26 and some months when I applied, though I'm still 26. I'll be 27 in 6 months' time. |

FatherOfJesus: talk to someone in their office. Tell the person thy he should fast track it for you that will give him something.
He will call you in less than 2 days to come collect it Thanks. I was later able to resolve it. Turns out your BVN is a necessity for getting your NIN (that's if you already have a BVN). |

Go to any NIMC outlet to change your DOB. The cost is 15k |

engrrichie92: To narrow it down, i'm referring to scholarship opportunities for postgraduates studies. Some of us really have the flair for further studies but our mediocre background and financial status makes it unaffordable So for those that have benefited from one post graduate scholarship or the other, either locally or international scholarship.please do well to come and share your experiences with us to keep us more enlightened and well directed...thanks
NB: Please dont read and ignore if you have something valuable to share Good day boss. I decided to quote you on this thread because it's an old one. Having followed you on here I am really impressed with what you have done for yourself. I am in a similar position and was hoping to get insights from. Can I send you a mail? |
