I was 26 and some months when I applied, though I'm still 26. I'll be 27 in 6 months' time.

I was later able to resolve it. Turns out your BVN is a necessity for getting your NIN (that's if you already have a BVN).

Do not listen to other posters telling you to call a number or assuring you of a lower price. Go to any NIMC outlet to change your DOB. The cost is 15k

Changing DOB in NIN is much more complicated and expensive. I believe the amount you quoted is the same everywhere.

Try not to say anything concerning the said issue again. It'll make you appear childish and bitter.

Just take it as a normal happenstance and dust it aside. It appears she feels she's in the same level (in terms of age) as you, that's why.

The best thing to do is to try conducting yourself like the adult you are when indulging her next time. She'll respect you by your attitude not from confrontation.
