viviangist2: Am Not here to support or power Tribalism neither am i here to say anything political , Even thought the people in Question were from the same political party.
This reminds me of Shagari house arrest while Alex Ekwueme in Kirikiri. One Nigeria Indeed. What did you understand about this pictures..Olisa Metuh appears in court with handcuffed while Sambo Dasuki appears in court without handcuffed, Nigerian Government what is really happening. Think of that my People . A true Christian or Muslim must not try to hide the Truth Behind this Topic.
Olisah Metuh Offence He was charged with seven counts of money laundering involving the sum of N400m, part of the $2.1bn arms fund.
Dasuki Sambo's Offence. He is the man sharing the $2.1bn arms fund.
rugged7: A man yet to be convicted in a court of law is brought to court in handcuffs yet a well known terrorist kabiru sokoto is strolling into court without cuffs. And they keep telling us that Nigeria is not a ZOO...
While Amaechi who emptied the rivers state treasury to fund APC is made a minister of transport And our rivers monorail is still suspended at azikiwe road
Nigeria a la orwellian animal farm: All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others
So why are u people disturbing those biafrans who understandably don't want to live with hypocrites?
Your conduct during interrogation and custody will dictate the type of treatment you are given.
Dansuki came to court without chains.
Metu had been grandstanding even before he was arrested.
He tore the statement he wrote. Metu exhibited violence.
This is an uncooperating customer.
He is unpredictable and could do anything like stopping a moving car or trying to disarm a policeman.
Security men would be taking too much risk if such a man is not chained.

wealthinfos: In I985, former military Ruler,Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, Kicked Buhari out of Office through Military Coup Dictact and Former National Security Adviser to ex president, Goodluck Jonathan, Sambo Dasuki Immediately placed Buhari in Chains, at that time Nigerians were celebrating the Muslim festival and enjoying the public holidays
Sambo Dasuki, led a team of four Police men which include, Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu, and arrested Buhari 1n August 26th 1985
Buhari was arrested and his government toppled, IBB, through the help of Dasuki, threw Buhari into Prison custody
Dasuki was then made the ADC (aide-de-camp). to babangida
Buhari was left to rot in jail for two years and this wrecked his love life with Safinatu
Buhari and Hajia Safinatu got married in 1971 and they have five children, 4 girls and a boy. - But upon Buhari's Release, Safinatu Divorced Buhari as she was reported to had been Devastated over Buhari's Arrest
Safinatu Served as First Lady of Nigeria from December 1983 to August 1985. She Divorced Buhari in 1988 which led to Buhari's Romance with ''Aisha'' in 1989, Now Aisha Buhari, Current Nigeria's First Lady
However, Hajia Safinatu is no More, She died in 2006 from complications from diabetes.
While Sambo Dasuki is being Prosecuted by Muhammadu Buhari over alleged Fraud and Embezzlement of Funds Meant for Procurement of Arms during the last Administration.
From the developments on the Dasuki trial it seems Buhari has vowed to jail Dasuki as a payback for the pains he went through in the hands of Dusuki and his principal IBB.
Big lie. Propaganda. Dansuki was not even ij the team. The officer, i Think Aminu, who led the team had since come out to clarify. In any case, should we allow him off doling insurgent fund out like father xmass just because he led the team to arrest PB.
naptu2: Nigerian journalists have reported from war zones for many decades (it's nothing new). Many of them have even been killed in conflicts (including the current Boko Haram insurgency).
Many of the Civil War pictures that are being shared online today were taken by the great Peter Obe, who was always at the scene of the action.
Tayo Awotunsin of The Champion and Krees Imodibie of The Guardian were abducted and killed by Charles Taylor's NPFL (the murderers were led by Colonel Putu) while covering the Liberian Civil War in 1991.
The NTA's Moni Abubakar was also very active in Liberia and Sierra Leone in the late 1990s and early 2000s (she was embedded with Nigerian troops).
Channels Television's Enenche Akogwu was killed by Boko Haram militants while covering their attack on Kano in January 2012.
The NTA's Zakariya Isa was also murdered by Boko Haram terrorist in Maiduguri.
NTA and Silverbird journalists have been embedded with the troops many times (I have watched their reports), including just last week when the Minister of Information toured the battle field.
I remember that both NTA and Silverbird showed clips of the service chiefs at the battle front, for example, when IED experts had to travel a few metres ahead of the Chief Of Army Staff's convoy to de-mine the area.
Is there any journalist in this world that knows more about Boko Haram than Ahmad Salkida, who has interviewed the late Mohammed Yusuf, Abubakar Shekau and has even served as a mediator between the government and Boko Haram (at great risk to his life)?
Give it to the drones who are too lazy to research. I am proud of you.
I am tired of you people. Nigerian journalists will perform given the resources. Two Nigerian Journalists died while covering the Liberia war. (Awotusin and Imobide) Nigerian journalist covered the Rwanda war and even won an international award for it.( I think his name is Oloyede) Where were you? If you were not old enough then why not ask questions.
magicminister: During the subsidy protest, I remember some roads were blocked, during a pdp rally, roads are blocked even an owambe can sometimes get roads blocked. If we are to kill everyone conducting themselves in a disorderly manner then no one would exist. Those shiites did nothing that warranted the hails of bullet.
For cryingnout loud, , children were in their midst. May God forgive the men behind the trigger cos they will reap the full consequences here on earth.
What buratai should have done is to keepnhis appointment for another day. Turn around and let the police deal with it.
henryanna36: Agbani Darego hardly trades words with her followers on Instagram, but yesterday, the beauty queen turned fashion entrepreneur took to Instagram to shut down a troll who made a condescending remark about her weight.
Yesterday, the 32-year-old former beauty queen shared a new photo on her page. While many of her follower commented on her graceful beauty, a troll told her to put on some weight. However, the usually clam beauty queen minced no words about her dislike for such rude opinions.
The man bleaches and it is a sign of character weakness. It is not good for the wife's image. To me, a man who bleaches is a fake. My surprise is why did it take so long for somebody to point this out. And why did Omotola kept with this so long. I congratulate the lady. Discussion continues.
tafrica: ..........and to think Buhari is demarketing Nigerians anytime he jets out of the country. He always calls us corrupt and his Worshippers worship him with "Sai Baba, you are right, we are corrupt" How does a foreign country treat Nigerians when their president gleefully calls them corrupt outside the shores of Nigeria? Many of thhese deportees have been said not to be illegal immigrants, some committed some offences and then deported after some months of arrest back to Nigeria. Expect many more inhumane treatment from countries, Buhari is reshaping world's perceptions about us.
Comedian Ali Baba cannot have done better better than this. This issue had been on years before Buhhari sarted to campaign. issue is, did they go with valid papers?
PussyFucker2: Please, I'm new on Nairaland. How do i post a comment here ??

Ajaoogbo: Nigeria is really a joke! So you were accused of entering a contract that milks a whooping 1% of our revenue and all you could say was that the TSA has not got to the amount alleged and that people alleging should go back to Elementary school. Mr. Lai ,you should know that you're the mouthpiece of the government and it behooves on you to critically analyse any argument raised in favor or against any government policy. The era where you insult people in power as an opposition spokesperson has passed.
For the umpteenth time, the argument is that the percentage is too high and should be reduced to 0.1% as the volume of transaction expected to flow through it is huge. So take your premises from there!
System Specs said it actually shared the processing fee with banks affected by the implementation of the TSA and the CBN in ratios of .5 %, .4% and .1%, respectively.
Can't you read English. The company actually got o.1%
The company in the letter dismissed allegations of wrongdoing, explaining that it was contracted by government in 2011, when President Goodluck Jonathan was still in office, whilst Emir Lamido Sanusi was Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
My governor just likes to talk. GEJ contracted this company but lacked the political spine to execute it.
Lordave: With the history of poor, erratic and unsteady power supply associated with past governments, even Maitama residents would be anticipating the APC trademark 'Change' to sweep across the ministry of power and somehow or anyhow solve the problem of nonexistent power supply in most parts of the country. Alas, Buhari, today decided to name former Lagos State governor, Mr Raji Babatunde Fashola as the minister of merged former Ministries of Power, Works and Housing. From a progressive perspective every sensible Nigerian would agree that this is a very big mistake from our president. The ministry of Work and Housing alone is a deserving ministry for a person of Fashola's calibre and administrative prowess to pilot, likewise Power. Heading the Ministry of Works and Housing in Nigeria is very cumbersome and almost equivalent to the numerous tasks he faced as the Governor of Lagos State were he had commissioners who were accountable to him, let alone Power being added to this workload of a Portfolio. I'm tempted to ask, did Buhari seek advice and make proper consultation before handing these merged portfolio to Mr Fashola? If he did, what were his findings? Which people supported his merging of these ministries?(they should be named so we can know those who indirectly oppose our progress) In a nutshell, it was unexpected, unprogressive, nonsensical and most especially, unacceptable merging of this work laden ministries and handing it over to one man considering the immediate change Nigerians are expecting in the power sector. Buhari should separate this ministries and make Mr Fashola a minister to one of them.
It would be inevitable hearing APC faithfuls say, "after all it is merged ministry, and as such presents a herculean task to the government in bringing a reasonable level of change to what we had in the previous administrations who are responsible for the majority of ruins in the ministries.
WE DO NOT WANT EXCUSES!
Not a mistake. He will gett capable hands to help him. What of the president, who is the first minister of all the ministries.
