I was in that shoe. Previous Boss was hell (Insults, victimization, et-al). But the truth is: "It is all a learning phase". If he wasn't like that, certain standards would not be in place, and his staff would be lackadaisical. So that was his approach to handling issues. (Plus it's his nature, which i honestly understand). So i never spoke ill about him. I moved on.
