Tinubu is very eloquent and intelligent. Nigerians will be proud to have him as President. |
Even if he's no longer into music business, Davido can never be poor again. Apart from music, he's one of the board of directors in his father's oil company. He might have sold the house because of the tragic loss of his son that happened in that house. The sight of that swimming pool will constantly be traumatizing to Chioma; his wife. It's best they move as part of the healing process. |
That thing plenty for that Ibadan-Ijebu Ode road. Especially between that Ago-Iwoye and Ijebu-ode axis. |
Lamidi Apapa is what I'll call "Looks can be deceiving". The man is eloquent and intelligent. |
The ediot should have waited for Tinubu to be sworn in before fleeing. DSS will be waiting for him at the airport. |
Chioma is just lucky she's not a Yoruba dating Davido if he's from an Igbo family. They wouldn't have allowed Davido to marry her when she unfortunately lost her son. They'd have labelled her a witch. Culture is meant to evolve with time but no not the Igbos...they've held on to some of their barbaric practices. Crazy culture! |
PrinceOfLagos:They'll be arrested before they do that IJN! |
Thereafter they'll start looking for innocent blood to shed to complete their ritual. Useless kids! |
No wonder those two projects are still yet to see the light of the day. But my question is why now since all these years? Buhari is trying to clean up his dirty closet days to handing-over. A lot of his ministers should be getting prepared to go to jail starting from the Minister of Finance, AGF Malami and that one in Humanitarian ministry. Those guys are super thieves. |
I believe it is....I don't know the reason why the Council of Neece decided not to include it in THE BOOK. |
She's obviously richer than him; so he must get half of her properties ![]() |
novia22:If a Ugandan or Namibian walks up to you can you identify him or her. My point is Nigerians are always loud anywhere they are thereby drawing attention to themselves and this most times puts them in security risk. |
falcon01:Shutup if you don't have anything meaningful to say. Why don't you put yourself in his shoes first. Seun should help move this to front page. Thank you! |
But that's the problem with we Nigerians. How will you be somewhere and everybody know that you're Nigerian?! Na unnecessary show-off they bring all this kain wahala. Unless I tell you, you can't know my nationality. |
This is the first time any Nigerian artiste will break into the Indian or Asian scene. Kudos! |
SE states should follow suite. |
muykem:What nonsense are you saying? Adeleke won the election free and fair; everybody knows that. Tinubu's election too cannot be nullified. He won the election and anybody thinking of anything contrary must be living in fool's paradise. |
Can you just imagine; these people are wicked! But it also shows that NRC does not monitor the rail lines. This is high negligence on their part. |
Ofunaofu:But why do these people talk like this.....how will it spell doom for you?! Did Buhari's presidency sef make the region any better? These people should desist from making inflammatory statements like this. It's not good for democracy. No one region can have it all! You already have the Vice President, Deputy Senate and Speaker of the House; what else do you want again?! These people must be cautioned, our country must move forward. |
Isn't this wickedness! |
nairalanda1:If you're not in the power sector or a direct beneficiary you won't be saying all these. We're seeing the last of all these DISCOS. Most of them will soon leave business for competent and financial strong companies to come into the power sector. |
nairalanda1:Thank God we're entering a new administration. If you think all the nonsense you did under Buhari will be tolerated by Tinubu; you're joking. How will you even explain this to him? The Tinubu I know will rather tell you to close down than to impose any further increase which does not guarantee supply. He's someone that rationalizes things alot. Tinubu will review the privatization done in the power sector and believe you me; many of you will leave business for lack of capacity. We're actually seeing the last of your nonsense in this country! ![]() |
nairalanda1:How do you want to make more money when you're not even supplying the electricity? Even at the current rate does the supply commensurate with what people are paying for? Give us the steady power first and let's see if people won't pay even if the tariffs increases. If you people lack the capacity and funds to do business it's better they unbundle you people and bring in serious investors who have the financial and technical muscle for the power sector. You can't come and strangulate us with high tariffs just because you want to keep your business afloat. |
nairalanda1:The tariff is not the issue here, most of these Discos lacked the technical know-how and capacity to operate. To the extent that they even reject load from the Gencos. Unlike the telecoms sector where established companies were brought into the country, NEPA was broken down and sold off to politicians who had next to zero technical knowledge and capacity to handle such a critical sector. Also most of these companies didn't have the initial financial capacity to buy NEPA. What they are trying to do by raising tariff which does still not guarantee steady power supply is trying to rub Peter to pay Paul. So people should pay more for darkness; does this make any sense to you? This is pure evil! |
Nigeria became as dead as the man himself. No wonder Trump said he's the most lifeless person he's ever met ![]() |
nairalanda1:Believe me even if Nigeria charges as much as those countries it still wouldn't guarantee steady power supply. Nigeria's epileptic power is actually a human problem. There are people in the power sector who are profiting heavily from the darkness. Except the next government deal with the deep corruption in the power sector and review the shambolic privatization done by the previous GEJ administration nothing will change. Most of these Discos were actually setup for revenue collection for the govt; not to facilitate improvement in the power situation. That's the frank truth. The privatization was a scam! |
These people are not okay.... they're comparing the rate in Nigeria with countries we're actually supplying with power. |
RamseyKush:Na you go suffer...me go enjoy for this next administration IJN!🤪 |
RamseyKush:E pain you... hopefully Tinubu will be different 😉 |
Well said! The money should be returned or left for the incoming administration to decide if the term of usage can be adjusted for investment into productive capital project. But that money must be accounted for and left intact. |
Normal....not everybody will be on thesame page with the President. That's politics; opposition will always come from within and without. |
