I'm having same high energy charges from EEDC even though there's little change in energy rates and energy usage in my family house remains same. I had to write to EEDC and we haven't resolved it. imagine My parents have paid #17,000 and 22,000 for the months of October and November just for energy consumption ohh. Just write to the billing manager, how did they arrive to that figure. They normally read via energy usages recorded in the transformer. When you get their they the manager that you won't bear the cost of those using bypass in your neighborhood

pepperdemzombie: If there's water scarcity then there should be a lot of people at the place especially adults. The survived ones said the men came at night but couldn't open the door. That implies they were there till the second day. How did they survive the suffocation? The place is not supposed to be deserted due to the scarcity. . They are hiding something.
99% of residents in that community are Catholics. and t was Christ the King feast, so that explains why nobody was there. I'm telling this because it happened in my maternal home. As at yesterday, one of the survivors confessed to having a hand in the deaths of those children.
Killing animals for their Skin or meat is just cruel and wrong. How would you feel if someone ripped the skin off you and decided to make a coat out of you? Animals should have right(s) too. #StopAnimalCruelty!!!
pepperdemzombie: It is a rubbish story. The children went to fetch water by 8am when the owners of the house had gone to Church, so nobody fetched water that morning? Why didn't the children cry for help when the owners of the house arrived? How did the owners of the house not notice 6 children in the car? The door wasn't tight when they were thrown in, why was it tight after they were thrown in? They are covering something.
because of water scarcity, those kids left their village to a neighboring village to fetch water. The oldest amongst the children is 11 years. I feel there's more to this story.
Gift52: Graphic: Three missing children found dead inside car at retired police officer's home in Enugu
The bodies of three children were found in a car parked at the home of a retired police officer at Ugwu Ogede in Itchi, Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State on Monday, November 23.
The victims identified as Chibugo Eze, Chinenye Eze, and Ebuka Ene, were reported missing after they went to fetch water at a commercial borehole owned and located at the home of the former police officer.
It was gathered that two other children named Kingsley Eze, and Mmasichukwu were equally rescued from the same car and upon resuscitation, they claimed that three hooded men abducted them into the car and left.
The parents of the children had raised a search team when their children who had gone to the borehole at about 8 am on Sunday, November 22, did not return home as usual.
The traditional ruler of the community, HRH, Igwe Ike Oke, who confirmed the incident said that he also mobilised personnel of vigilante and Forest Guard groups who joined in the search of the missing children.
"We were almost frustrated in our search when a community member who went to fetch water heard the voice of a little child calling her name. She traced the voice to a car that had been parked for over six months in the compound where she discovered the children and raised the alarm,"said the monarch.
“We found three of the children already dead by the time we opened the car. I think they suffocated to death because the car doors were stiffed when we tried to open it at first but we engaged an artisan who forced it open. One of the two children rescued said they went to fetch water but didn’t meet anyone at the borehole because the owner and the entire members of the family had gone to church service,"
“He informed us that they were about going home when three hooded men came from a hill beside the scene of the incident and abducted them into the car and left. He said they were all dressed in red cloths. He also said that the hoodlums returned at the middle of the night to take them away but they couldn’t open the car doors because they were stiffed. We are still investigating.

So a friend of mine introduced me to this thread last year Nov, and since then I have been a silent reader, started reading from scratch to date.

My final mock with Fairheart the best, I remember screaming to the top my voice after the mock only thing I had at the back of my mind was to go and get my visa, I forgot the call was still on, dude heard me screaming like a mad man
That night was slow as f<ck, sleep no gree come, I just lay down dey think, to get an hour sleep was a struggle tbvh.
Woke up around 4:50, my alarm was for 5:00, the interview was for 7:00
After getting ready, my mum first showered some anointing on me and told me to go get my visa.
Got to the embassy at 6:50, they were still attending to those for 6:00 so I joined the line for those for 7:00, fast forward to my interview. They were 3 VO present that morning, one was very friendly and doesn't waste time with people and have been dishing approvals ear and there In my mind, I was praying to be interviewed by him. lucky for me, I got him.

little advice:
Dress smart, these guys are looking for people that will travel and do well for themselves academically, dress like a student. I noticed a guy wearing a native and leather slips was denied even with his travel history.
Dave Umahi's defection to the ruling party, APC not only make Kalu's chances of clinching party nomination for Presidential election slimmer but is a BIG threat. in fact, Today Dave became a big contender for the position.
You people should let Orji Uzor Kalu grieve in peace.
Sad.
Why such heavy-handedness?
Why Jungle justice?
Why death?
It just doesn't make sense.

SilverNorGold: Professor Osinbajo is our next President.
God bless Nigeria.
Just wake up already! is it Professor Yemi Osibanjo that swore to an oath of silence? the man who has been caged. He obviously do not understand politics, If he had resigned from office and decamped to a more liberal party, maybe he may have a shot at even running for party nomination. Mark my words, He would never be President.my opinion has nothing to do with tribal sentiments. I once admired Tinubu too, but he has lost his anionting.
The Suicidal Ambitions of a Jagaban
In 1998, I listened to an interview of Mr. Bola Tinubu
on VOA; he was a member of NADECO then. I was
thoroughly floored by his eloquence and his
understanding of the issues during the Abacha Regime.
I said to my old man then "this man knows his onions".
About 6 months later, there was another interview on
the same station; this time he was being asked about
his gubernatorial ambitions...His answers were so
articulate...he spoke about Waste to Power program,
power generation by the state, state police and fiscal
federalism. He was way ahead of his comteporaries...and
I loved him more.
He became governor...and took on the Obasanjo Regime
on the Independence of the states from the central
government. By this time, love apples for him were
popping out of my ears! Dude was good and understood
how to build nations within a country!
I must confess that I had always been a secret admirer
of the man...
Then came the Jonathan Administration...and dude
slowly morphed into something else...subtly... slowly but
surely. Mr. Tinubu had become a megalomaniac sold on
himself. We all know about that so I shan't bother us
with the details...
With the rise of Mr. Jonathan, dude fancied his chances
at being president. He junked the fiscal federalism
thingy and state independence...and rolled out his
propaganda machinery...if I could topple Jonathan and
place a stooge, I could be president! In his mind, his
plans were perfect! He sold the plans to his minions
and they went to work in 2011.
For about 10 years, he's dedicated his life to
achieving those plans...a 10 year plan! And he went
after it with uncommon determination that would have
been admirable if only the terms were right and the
structure of Nigeria was agreeable.
The more Mr. Tinubu went after his plans, the more he
alienated his constituency...the Reformers...and it is
the Reformers that connect with the People!
We concluded that he could never be president after
the own-goal of 2015. He said we were crazy! Indeed,
he was the crazy one! Our dear Jagaban had gone
bunkers... everyone knew except himself!
His major albatross was his lack of emotional
intelligence...at least not in the past 7 years. Do you
know what this man could achieve by aligning with the
desires of the people? Do you know that if this
gentleman could declare TODAY that we must
# restructureOrBurst , fight for the # autonomousRegio
ns and promote # EndThe1999Constitution , he would
be an instant hit and we could achieve all these? Do
you know that if he had foresight, he could become the
Premier of the Oduduwa Region and do exploits?
Why he doesn't see the low-hanging fruits befuddles
me...hence my conclusions that he's a man with almost
zero EQ!
He helped to plant the President Buhari...he fought
tooth and nail to help to sustain that presidency. He
went against the desires of his constituency and
neighbors...he became emotionally isolated by his own
people and admirers...but sustained some clout still with
his financial powers and certain influences...but his
influence had waned everywhere...
In desperation, he did the unthinkable...a tacit
endorsement of the Lekki Bloodgate on the 20th
October, 2020.
On that day, scores of peaceful protesters were
violently killed...the world watched in consternation as
men in military fatigues gunned down unharmed youths.
On that same day, as the protesters fell like nine pins,
wailing and calling on their God and mothers, the
Tinubu Political Dynasty was gunned down alongside!
Mr. Tinubu's political dynasty inadvertently became a
victim of his own lack of emotional intelligence...and he
self-destruct by his refusal to align with the People!
The Tinubu I fell in love with in 1998 is lurking
somewhere within me decades later...and I do believe
that the original Tinubu is still somewhere within him
too...if he could touch base with himself some 22 years
back, he could still pull the chestnut out of the fire
yet...
By aligning with the People...to # EndSARs,
# EndThe1999Constitution , have the
# autonomousRegions or # RejectThisRepublic . The ball
ain't far from his court despite his political demise. The
challenge is: Is he emotionally intelligent to see things
critically?
But one thing I'm certain of, whether he makes amends
or not, even before the unfortunate recent events,
Mr. Tinubu would NEVER be president! So if he comes
to that realization, maybe he could start making the
right choices!
Dear Mr. Tinubu, you would NEVER be president!
# think again!
