Yes it's same used for the massage/ Castor oil therapy. Just buy like 2 bottles which will be enough to soak a cotton cloth like a cheap Male white singlet, use it and store in a glass container after use. You can continue to use for massage severally and discard only when it develops a foul odour.

u are on point, cayenne pepper is our own shombo, i almost got a fit wen i found out the much talked about black pepper in some recipes is uziza seeds and basil leaves is effirin or scent leaves.

@ iomoge2, Mumihaja and pwettymii, you're very correct. It's same as Cayenne pepper. I usually go for the dried ones though which I either buy and grind or buy the Powdered ones sold mostly by Aboki's in Lagos. The dried one is called Atagbibe (spelling ?) in Yoruba. Not sure of the spelling, but that's how it will be written in Igbo as per the way it's pronounced. Hausa's usually carry the dry one both powdered and un-powdered.

Am starting my egg fast today @94kg my aim is to reduce to 70kg I pray to be strong and serious with this egg fast. I will do it for 7 days.

Hope your 1st day went well. Well done for taking charge of your weight and health. I was in this same position as you last year April. I was weighing 94kg at 5ft 7inches. I used the Egg Fast and LCHF interchangeably to lose 14kg from late April to July. At each time I did the Egg Fast for 10days then took a break for as long as I needed it eating Low Carb High Fat with portion control and then go back to Egg Fast again. May you achieve your goals and lose eggcellently.

I also started my Egg Fast today. So far so good 6 Eggs and 6 Tablespoons of Fat during the day. I can't stand any more eggs today and am also not hungry so dinner will be 1 bottle of 7up Free so that I can take my drugs.

@ Baaby , the recommendation by @ Convenantbabies is good for blocked tubes and has been used successfully by Mamas on this thread.

@ Towerofgrace , it's good that you've cut out Sugar and Refined carbs considerably from your diet. Also wash and soak your undies in water with disinfectant before spreading. Please use your Guaifebao as I believe it will help clear the infection. Note that Guaifebao and Clean Point are the same way (seeds for insertion into the veejay) and does the same thing. But if you decide that you won't use the Guaifebao, instead of leaving it to expire, please use it to Bless someone that needs it I'll be very happy to take it off you.

Please I need your input. I have started using the omega 369 and I noticed that af came heavy as usual but without the clots I am believing that a good sign. Hubby got some gnld supplements ( maca and royal jelly), can I use them?
Haven't gone for the test, but hopefully next month, finances are very low for us now. I also want hubby and I to start the antibiotics for like a 2weeks. What do you all think.

Ok on the Omega. It helps with hormonal imbalance and safe throughout the cycle. Yes you can use Maca and Royal Jelly. But wait oh, How far woth your weight loss journey? you confessed that the last time you got pregnant and gave birth that you were at a much lower weight than where you are now, in fact you said you finished the Clean 9 weight loss, lost weight and got pregnant. I expect that you'll channel your energy/finances towards losing weight (healthy eating & workout) rather than on supplements. It should also be more cost effective. Lots of overweight women have being known to get pregnant after losing a little weight. Just my thoughts sha. Take care.

It's a systemic digestive enzyme that contains Bromelain, Papain amongst other things. It has several uses in alternative medicine but as per ttc, people take it to help unblock tubes, dissolve adhesions, clear inflammation & endometriosis. It is said to work just like Serrapeptease. I think it's part of @ oleayo22 WIDD.

sorry to ask,but did you combine clomid with vitamin e when you used it

Clomid works great when combined with Vit C. but don't go over 1000mg of Vit C. Best is to get your Vit C from Fruits and the much in Prenatal if you're taking any. But if you're not on any Prenatal and don't take much Vit C laden foods, then you can take about 400-600mg which would be 2 tablets 3x daily. Also get something to counteract the vaginal dryness, sometimes clomid causes Ovulation but people don't get pregnant because the veejay goes dry and swimmers find it difficult to swim or just die off that is where every other thing is OK.

They're both good but take it easy with Vit E after Ovulation. There's a certain dose that shouldn't be exceeded after Ovulation otherwise it can disrupt implantation and/or cause early miscarriage.

I have been seeing a gynea for about a month now cos been TTC for about 10mths.
Without tests he started us on flagyl and doxycycline for infections.
After that gave us one orange tablet to take for 7days(1 daily). I dont mind knowing the name of d drug if possible. My hubby did a sperm count test and he said count was low and gave him one white and green capsule for 3mths. I would also want to know the name of the drug.
Now i went for my hormonal blood test on the 25th of march and he told me to see him the very day i see AF
Now AF decides to come 2 days early and i rushed to see him this morning. He says d result of the test is not yet out. And gives me another prescription. This time i take half tablet at night only for 6 nights and then start taking one tablet in the morning and evening for the next 3 weeks.

I am confused now. Cos i dont have any test result i can say he is basing my own numerous prescriptions on.

I need to know d names of the drugs, i am paying through my nose for them o.

Doctors in the house, please help me.

It sounds like your Dr is experienced and knows what he's doing. I say this because of his methods and protocols. but please ASK PLENTY QUESTIONS. GONE ARE THE DAYS OF "OH YES SIR" TO DRs. Hospitals these days 1st do antibiotics protocol for all fertility patients whether your test shows infection or not. This is because at the point of testing, some infections can be dormant and wont be picked up. Doxycyline is a cheap but very effective antibiotics. I got a very good dose of it after my surgery to prevent infections especially the types that causes tubal blockage. You can just ask to know the names of the drugs and find out that he's not hiding them. On the cost, Truth is that the country is hard now and these hospitals have bills to pay and Fertility treatments is one of the lucrative areas for hospitals. In fact you can get billed N2000 by a Hospital for a drug that you can buy for 800 - N1,200 in a Pharmacy.

My drugs also come in these hospital sachets without names but each time I go to the pharmacy inside the hospital to pick up my drugs, I ask for their names and they tell me. Sometimes they don't take it out of the pack to hide it, what happens most times is that the drugs are bought in the big volume container and they have to count out the number of tablets or capsules you have been prescribed. Although some Hospitals write the name of each drug on the sachet for the patient. I must also say that I've encountered a Dr that gave me some pills and blatantly refused to tell me the name after I paid heavily for it, well I collected and took the drugs and ran away afterwards when no bfp even came out of it and the Dr started guessing whether the Fibroids I have was affecting my fertility or not. For me I'd say don't cry foul until you have need to. Ask questions on all your concerns and ensure you fully understand & satisfied with all explanations given. Remember Drs are allowed to give treatment based on perceived symptoms and their knowledge even without or before having a test result, they sometimes can't just fold their hands waiting for tests that could take days or even weeks to come out while the time to act or administer treatment passes by.

The orange drug sounds like Cypri Gold although Cypri Gold would have "Cypri Gold" written at the back while the green and white drug could be Addyzoa. Bear in mind that there are several orange drugs and green and white drugs in this world, am only guessing. I must say that I like your Drs aggressiveness and protocols sha. You need to have faith in your Dr, so you need to ensure that all is clear to you and you're either ok or not. With all I've seen, if I don't have faith in a Dr, then it's best I move on. Dr/Patient trust is very important in healing, it always has a placebo effect on a patients healing. Sorry for the long post, I sabi write epistle most times.

@dazzle, why not try soy isoflavon? You can take it on day 2-6, 3-7 or 5-9. Check wat I did differently. I also took robitusun cough syrup and ate pineapple from the day I saw +ve ovulation on my clear.

What brand of Soy ISO did you use and where did you get it? TIA

It's actually an antibiotics protocol for infections that could affect fertility. Some Drs place their patients on such antibiotics protocol whether or not there's a known infection. My Dr gives all his fertility patients (Both Husband & Wife) a 21day antibiotics protocol whether your test shows any infection or not. Sometimes people conceive after the antibiotics without any other help. He says that infection is one of the leading causes of infertility amongst couples and also causes miscarriages too. The protocol Sugah shared is her hospitals protocol which she used before falling pregnant. It's part of her WIDD.

With my financial condition, i know that i can only wait for a miracle in my life to be able to go for ivf. my 2nd wedding anniversary is 29 of this month that is in 3days time, i just wish and pray that on that day my God will show me mercy and bless my womb. I don't know what the issue is and why you think it's only IVF that can give you your bfp. But believe me, if IVF is the only means through which God will bless you, then he'll surely provide the financial means for you. Just pray, have faith and believe. He's still in the business of miracles. Happy Easter in advance.

@ fvine I did a scan to find out what happened we discovered endometrium thickness was just about 7mm that is why af has not come and implantation could not have taken place with such thin lining. I'm going for anothe iui but this time no clomid which we think it's the main cause for the thinness instead we use letrozole and I will the estradiol earlier too. My sisters this ttc journey is really nerve taking and we still see people everyday throwing babies away. Hmmm it is well.

Ok it's good that they found a cause for it so it can easily be prevented to avoid future occurrence. This is exactly why I don't like clomid, it brings on good Ovulation but most times throws up other issues like thin lining and/or extreme dryness. Letrozole is a better option though more costly. I pray God grants you success and a healthy pregnancy this time around, amen.

Amen, thanks. I feel sad to hear the IUI failed, but you know what, go enjoy your Easter and don't let it bother you much. God is faithful and makes all things beautiful at his time. Hopefully you'll conceive this new cycle just like @ oleayo22 after her failed IUI. But please ask them what made it fail so that it can be prevented be it in a future natural conception or assisted conception. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I lost a lot of weight on metformin. Infact sometimes I'm almost tempted to put myself back on it for the sake of weightloss
But the side effects was crazy also, you are lucky u ain't experiencing it

I had hot flashes, bitter tongue, dizziness, nausea.

Amen. Lol. I understand you but that's not necessary for you to lose weight now. For me, no side effects and no weight loss, in fact am piling weight on my tummy which is why am planning to start EF on Tues. It just makes me wonder if the Metformin is working for me or not. We'll see, only time will tell.

Amen. Thanks Sis. I upped my Metformin dose to 2000mg yesterday. I've been on 500mg 2x daily. My final dose as per my Dr's prescription is 3000mg daily. I haven't experienced any side effects yet, don't know if that's good or bad but I thank God all the same. Am not trying at the moment, had a Myomectomy in January and still waiting for the OK from my Dr to resume so am using this time to prep my body to get healthy and everything.

Issues that can cause painful sexual intercourse include Infection, Fibroids, Endometriosis. I'll suggest you at least do a Pelvic Scan to start with in your diagnosis and also see a Dr. A remedy can't really be suggested except you know what the cause is. But one general remedy for Uterine cleansing is using Guaifebao or Clean Point Tampon. Hope this helps.

Happy Easter Sis. The Egg Fast is actually a diet stall breaker and not the only thing one can do to lose weight. I understand all you've said and the fact that you want to do it for you. When I weighed 94kg, I remember how I felt, no confidence, fat, ugly, ttc without success also didn't help matters. My DH also wasn't complaining about my size but he didn't stop me after explaining to him because of course am not breastfeeding. If I were breastfeeding, my DH will not want to hear any reason at all oh. In fact I know him well that I won't even try to mention it because we'll definitely argue and both of us are stubborn and strong willed.

Just like @ favoredgal said, go for clean eating and exercise and you'll start dropping small small. You can use the sample Menus on Page 66 as a guide. They have several foods and am sure your hubby won't mind if you're eating well but in small portions. You can just exercise by dancing or walking. My favorite aerobic exercise is Walk at Home by Leslie Sansone, I also like dancing, walking or Stepping (Mini Stepper) to Godwin by Korede Bello. The only reason am employing the Egg Fast now is because I want to lose weight fast to help me with conception. I've been TTC my number 1 now for several years, I have PCOS, and am trying to do everything I can to conceive this year God willing, plus am exercise lazy sha and I leave home very early for work and return late so no much time to exercise.
