fpeter:Keto is very similar to Atkins, same approach too. Atkins is a Protein "Diet" developed by Late Dr. Atkins a Cardiologist Basically its high Protein and Low Carb. It has different stages with varying allowed Carb Levels a day one is as low as 20g. The Diet website is www.atkins.com There's also a Book on it. Ha! Na only God go epp me oh! I have tried for weight loss oh! orisirisi that I've done. Weightloss is not the issue, maintaining the Lost weight is the Koko Abeg lemme come and be going. |
mummykyrti:Fluid in POD (Pouch of Douglas) is an indication of a PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) AKA Infection. Once this shows up in a scan, its recommended to go for a Lab Test called HVS (Vaginal Swab) to confirm the presence or not of an infection and the drugs that can be used for its treatment. Hope this helps. |
Godchild2015:Thanks. Amen. Happy Year 2017 and Happy New Month to you. God Bless. |
favouredestiny:Am good Sis. Thanks for asking. Happy New Month. |
Easiest way to get your body and your CM Alkaline is by drinking Lemon Juice (stay away from Lime) mixed in water, Grapefruit Juice mixed in water, Baking Soda mixed thoroughly in water, Apple Cider Vinegar Mixed in water. Either one of them is Ok. You don't have to take all at the same time. All are safe for TTC and enhances conception and good health One can also do a Baking Soda Finger 1hour to 30mins before BD. ie dipping tip of finger in Baking Soda and inserting into Veejay, Using Preseed/Conceive Plus or Using real Egg Whites from Chicken but from Pasteurized Chicken Eggs. Happy Year 2017 Y'all. |
I have an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management - 3.8 CGPA. Am interested in a PhD in Education and wondering if anyone knows a course in Education that has this course requirement. Am currently looking at University of Ilorin, University of Ibadan and National Open University. I've looked at their websites but all I got are general requirements without specific course requirements. Please help if you know or can help me find out if you are a student in any of these schools. Thanks. |
Liftedhands:Nne well done for starting out. success begins with taking the 1st step. How are you faring. Hope good. Jisike. |
Saperp:Have you established the Lagos SAP Consultant Classroom training now? Kindly respond with details. |
Teelah1:I'll suggest you go with Amala and not Wheat for the sake of fertility. |
Ayun:It's same. That should be Puritans Pride Brand you saw (Wine/Plum coloured bottle)? It's a great brand. |
Zheemub:You're welcome. All the best. |
My sincere gratitude goes to everyone here, all who liked the post and specifically to @ BelloQ, Haryourlar, Nneejima, fruitfulray, Loisemm, Pweetiemii, mumigrace, peacefulwealth, fruitfulvine83, happymummy, mummykyrti for your prayers of continued peaceful repose in God's Bossom for my Dad. Thank you all. |
MineMK:Omega 3,6,9 will never cause such. Vitex is the likely culprit. It's likely still regulating you. I'll suggest you continue for now. But did you have irregular or absent periods in the first place? Vitex can mess up cycles in women with regular cycles. |
On this day in 2008, I lost my sweet dear Dad to the cold hands of death but to the sweet and happy abodes of heaven, the Angels, saints and God. Daddy may you continue to rest peacefully in the Bossom of the Almighty God, Amen. I only wished I listened to your medical and fatherly advice when you asked me to start giving birth and not continue waiting for a perfect time to conceive. I've learned the hard way, it's about 10+ years now since I got that advice severally from you. There's no perfect time I've learned. But I do know that God already knew this would happen and has a plan and I'll conceive and bear children soon, Amen. Thanks for being the best Dad ever. I Miss You Daddy. |
@ Omowunminow, all is ok as per your hormonal profile though you need to watch the Prolactin by drinking enough water during the day, eating Cabbage and limiting your Hubby's Booby play, I didn't say stop Hubby, I said limit meaning reduce duration and frequency. I concur with @ Sugah interpretation. |
abdrazak:It's nothing just remnants of AF. Its same thing as spotting immediately after BD on the day of expected AF and subsequently starting AF. |
orney:YES. That's what I use. But for it to show up clearly, your bladder needs to be very full or the Follicles need to be very big. Either ways a very full bladder is the best when using pelvic scan for follicle tracking (Folliculometry). |
Congrats @ demiladetuntun, H & H Pregnancy and childbirth. Abeg make sure your Ex sees you or your picture with big belle and no forget to invite him for the naming ceremony. Lol. Don't mind me, am just vexing but am glad God wiped your tears and shame and vindicated you so just forgive him, he was ignorant and know not what he was doing. His loss, your gain. @ nennynj: of course we oldies here cannot forget you nah. If my memory sharp small, your WIDD included sticking out with one Abuja Dr for one month extra after having an agreement to try for one year with her. I believe your agreement was from Jan 2015 or so. You were about giving up and going for IVF when she encouraged you to try one more time. And then you discovered You were pregnant in Feb after the one month extra. You were active before porting.Congrats on your baby, may your LO always be a source of joy and pride to you and the world, Amen. Thanks for coming here to inspire us. |
Helens101:How big is the clot and how frequent? Membrane and tiny looking clots can be normal. However you can do a Pelvic scan to rule out Fibroids if you're worried. Fibroids when present causes big and very big clots. But what you described sounds like the normal membrane (egg white looking/feeling) that comes with period. if so then no worries. |

It means you have a yeast infection called Candida. It's happens when the Candida Albicans present in everyone overgrows it's boundaries. it's not a big deal. Happens to some of us all the time. Xomes with vaginal discharge and itching if not treated early. There are several ways to treat it Orthodox and drugs. Go to a good pharmacy and you'll be given Vaginal Cream and Vaginal Tablets for insertion. Stay away from Flour, Refined Sugar and Yeast and it will disappear in no time. Also disinfect your panties after washing by soaking in Disinfectant Water (Dettol, Septol, Ivy etc) or Water with Bleach added. |
mamaTB:Nothing to worry about. Both tubes had bilateral spillage which means they're open. Again women conceive with just one tube anyway. Congrats on a successful HSG. Open tubes and perfect Uterus. Thank God for his mercies. |
@ Dadsonval, bidemibunmi and fruitfulray, thanks for the welcome back. |
Thanks so much @ Zaynie, Sanrinma, Blessedmum and DonaTee. You guys understood me perfectly and couldn't have said it better. Am happy that you all in the preggy thread still remember us and pop in here to support and encourage us. You guys rock big time. |

haryourlar:Thanks Dear. Amen.We ALL MUST testify. |
frankdoho:Heeya! Oya no vex, ohh. Am glad I put a smile on your face. Take care. |
Loisemm:Thanks Sis. I appreciate you big time. But honestly I love answering questions that I have knowledge of, supporting my e-family here, cheering and crying with everyone as the case may be. It wasn't the mentions or questions that made me take leave, it was my own personal battles and some happiness sucking demons. But it's also great for other sabi people to torchlight too, it helps a lot to get answers from different people and it's faster too. Well I thank God am feeling better and learned a lot about life and myself during my MIA which has made me happier. I've realised that what causes all the ttc heartache for me is high expectations, each cycle, I pause my life and fix it on ttc as if my life depends on it and when no bfp, I break down I feel like my life should end. I have realised that my life and happiness doesn't depend on a bfp. Oh yes! Yes I would love to have children, infact sometimes I see people who had children in their young years and out of wedlock and envy them. I say to myself perhaps if I did that by now I'll at least not be too bothered, I'll at least be happy. Believe me, your happiness does not depend on your children or you having children. Yes you read right, what's the guarantee that once you have kids you'll be happy? What makes you think you'll have no other need that will sap your happiness and make you sad and depressed after you've achieved this goal of kids? There will always be things we want, need, desire and if you keep putting your happiness on these needs, then you'll forever be depressed and sad because once you achieve one, another will come up. Please My Dears let's strive to be happy with or without a BFP. Surely our kids will come, be inspired by the testimonies of all the women who were on this journey with us and are now preggy or giving birth. They're my joy, inspiration and consolation that one day just like them, I'll also testify. In case these testimonies still feel like stories or jokes to you because this is an anonymous thread, I'll encourage you to at least hook up with a mother offline so you now they're real. Them plenty for Preggy Thread and am sure a couple of them might not mind connecting at least via email and BBM. One Love and Happy New Week!. Shout out to @ Sugah, Itissettled3, Liftedhands, Udoka2, CherryMum1, Bros Nwangoibio (sp?), iomoge2, Oleayo22 but to mention a few popular monikers who have successfully passed through this journey and make me know each day that I and all who believe will surely pass through successfully too. |
frankdoho:An FSH of under 6 is Excellent. Shows you still have a good Ovarian reserve. An LH that is higher than FSH is a likely indication of PCO(S). You might need to do a Pelvic scan mid cycle to check against this result. Low Estradiol shows your ovaries can be stimulated easily to produce eggs ie if there's need to administer Fertility drugs, then it's safer to start with lower doses. Prolactin: Your level is Ok. Most women who have PCOS would usually have an elevated Prolactin. It's possible you had a Cyst in the cycle or its just PCO which is not chronic like PCOS. Thanks for the welcome back. |
Pearlsuccess:So you registered today, this is your first post and your idea of help is to make money out of TTC women/men for nothing? And you think we're Mumu people here to fall for you abi?
