I registered my NIMc with Ecobank, in Lagos when it was free and without stress. I'd been using it with all my lines and other banking transactions.

Last year, I opened an account with GTbank and I registered a 9mobile line on May, 2022.

On Monday, 11th of July, 2022, I visited an Airtel Care Centre to purchase a MiFi model, having logged on my details, I was told that my NIN was not validated.

To validate it, I had to pay #2,000 with a strong assurance that, it would be rectified before 24 hours. Still today, 14th July, 2022,. I am still waiting....

Nigeria, I hail thee! Has anyone experienced such?

After 9 months of staying away from my wife and family, I visited her in our hometown, in Nigeria. It was an experience I was looking forward to after my job.

Two days later, it was time to do the husband/wife stuff, but I was met with a huge mess. This episode was described as a "one minute man affair". I was ashamed of myself as my wife was in a bad mood.

I discovered to my chagrin that they were using Bible pages to gather hair from their customers. To verify, I moved closer to them in pretence of waiting to cut my hair. The four guys barbing people's hair were using scattered Bible pages to accumulate cut hair.

I don't want to incite religious argument, but if this act was done with Koran in Sokoto, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara etc by a southerner, you know what would happen...

My observation:

The muslims in southern Nigeria are not violent, unlike the northerners, this is a result of the wrong teachings from their "alfas"/"teachers".

The northern muslims are wild in nature. They do not value humans.

Those preaching wrong doctrines in Islam should be stopped and prosecuted.

Enough of these barbaric killing in the name of religion.

Why man hunt this lady? What about the Fulani guy that has sex with a cow? Abegi, I tire for this country!

I worked in an organization for 3 years, was in the corporate department where loans were given to salary earners only. I only go to work on Mondays, that's 4 times a month.
My take-home was on commission, sometimes, my pay might be #70,500 while on worst case, it could be #17,000. Average of #45,000 to #50,000 monthly.
A friend connected me to another job of #151,000 @ Surulere with lovely packages. The company was into loan and I was posted to Mushin. I later threw in my resignation at my previous place.
After a month, in my new place, a colleague spoke to me in parable, that, "Why did you resign from your peaceful job to this one?". I gave me all the excuses, but with a look of askance, he left.
The 2nd month, the Team Leads, were made to meet with the CEO. There we were made to sign an undertaking that if we have default of 5% above our loan portfolio, our salary would be withheld, failure to append our signature, means resignation.
That month, we booked #13 million loan and had 45% default combined by various Team units.
We were not paid for the 3rd month, because we had signed that the unpaid obligation most be below 5%. By the 4th month, we had reduced it to 18%, but management could not pay us. At this point, some staffs had resigned.
5th month, it was reduced to 7% default, but funny enough, management did not still pay. I was angry and resigned. Uptil this moment, my 3 months salary was not paid!

Hmmmmh! MMM that year dealt wit alot of people. I lost #90,000 to that scheme. Having been paid twice and a little knowledge that the ponzi scheme would crash, out of greed, I still invested #90k. From that time, I NEVER BELIEVED ONLINE BUSINESSES. lol

NIN registration has not done anything positive in respect to tracking terrorists/banditries. Its a useless exercise as far as this administration is concern. May we be more vigilante to safeguard ourselves. Kuduna as a State needs attention. Crocodile would always behave as crocodile.
