Too many people jump into things hoping for a miracle instead of first evaluating what they are getting into. I will never say internet marketing and online businesses are total scams. But there are far too many out there that are. If you create something that people want, need or can find adequate use for, the money and profits will follow.

Another way to look at it is to call yourself a Wordpress Administrator or Wordpress Integrator. Both are different scopes.

Administration may include integration but integration may not include administration.

Administration talks about installation and day to day running of (especially) the BASIC technical side of the site. But integration entails EXAPANDING the core functionality of the site by integrating thirdparty plugins into it.

I don't think it's price, a serious business should be able to pay 15k for a domain if it's premium, after all they pay more than that for other items.

The major reason is because NIRA failed woefully at her duty to sensitize the public. I never knew we had .com.ng existing since 2009. Why? No marketing or advertising in place, aside media reports.

Does NIRA have a facebook handle? Do they have a twitter handle? What's their social presence like on the web? All these is what is needed.

They aren't working so why should they make money? If they think increasing .ng price is the best way to make money then they should fold up ASAP.

I have bought domains in .eu, .de, co.uk, .co which are Ctld yet inexpensive when compared to our brand .ng

However, I am willing to embrace the .ng brand as it gives me chance to get premium domains that I can't have in .com

One cannot deny the fact that money remains the top ingredient to oil a relationship most especially when it comes to taking a lady out on a date but the issue is some ladies take this opportunity to siphon guys pocket and still demand for take away package.

I experienced this situation last year when I took a lady out for a date at one of the best eatery in Lagos. I budgeted N5,000 hoping the hungry babe will not eat more than N2,500 meal but to my greatest surprise she ordered all sort of meals resorting to N15,000. This is when I know I am in for big trouble as there was no escape route for me to leave the eatery due to its structure in order to punish her.

To add salt to injury, I don't know how the gold digger read my actions that I may disappear as she told the sales assistant that I will foot the bill. After collecting all the goodies ordered, she disappeared leaving me stranded like someone who just got robbed by thieves.

Since I could only pay N5000, the sales assistant gave me the insult of my life as the manager of the eatery told me to wash all sort of dirty dishes but thank God for a friend of mine who bailed me out from the embarrassment that would have lingered in my memory till date.

I know you guys must have witnessed such situation before.

Kindly share your experience.

i have hosted with whogohost and I didn't have problem but I don't doubt the possibilty of your claim.

I will advice that if you wish to own a domain name, use whois.com to check or whois.com.ng to check for the availability.

Don't use web4africa or whogohost to check availability--only host there if you wish!

i have been using whois.com to check for events.com.ng since ooo. One day I used web4africa and forgot. Now it's gone!
