For your info...we do not attribute the spiritual fatherhood of God to any man...and from your argument you imply that if I call Abraham father then it is wrong. Sorry to say but your argument lack bases.

You obviously dont get it and instead of asking questions in order to learn and gro .spiritually, you chose to launch baseless attacks.

The Bible makes it clear that we are Abraham's seed so it's ok to call Abraham "father". But on what basis do you call a pastor "father"? Are you his seed? Why is the title "pastor" etc not enough? Are you saying Jesus didnt know what he was saying when He made the statement? .

Do you spot any difference from this translation? Jesus didn't differentiate between 'biological' and 'spiritual' father here - He simply said ANYONE or in other translations, he says ANY MAN. Our biological fathers fall into the category of ANYONE or ANY MAN. See, if you catch the difference from NLT translations or I will explain later.

Jesus was obviously referring to spiritual father, not biological father because God is our spiritual Father. The people who call these pastors "father" use it in the spiritual sense which is what Jesus expressly and explicitly told us not to do..
