MaxInDHouse:Keep your advice to yourself dear. You cannot be commenting sacrilege against the Word of God and be claiming your sacrilege is from the Holy Spirit. You cannot deliberately falsify scriptures and be claiming your falsification is from the Holy Spirit. For example, you cannot translate John 1:1 which in Greek says "...the Word was God" to ",...the word was a god" and be claiming that the deceptive translation is from the Holy Spirit. The Holly Spirit cannot prophesy the coming of Jesus through you several times and be failing each time. You must be a false prophet. Go and advice your 8 rulers to stop impersonating the Holy Spirit and repent of their sins. If they humble themselves before God, God will accept them and pardon their iniquities, and show them mercy. They should actually give their hearts to Christ and become born again. |
allthingsgood:Then shoot the person back! Why can't Iran just target Israeli leaders and military infrastructure, and also send missiles into the White House? Why targeting Israeli civilians and neighboring Arabs? |
Truthseeker10:Knowing that the God of Israel is the only true God and that He has sent Jesus His Son to die for his sins, and that Jesus is both Lord and Savior and a coming King is what you're crying out loud about? That's the knowledge I'm talking about. Not doctrines. Not Trinity or no Trinity. Baptism or no baptism. Tithe or no tithe. Just the very foundational truths. J esus must have told him the foundational truths on the cross. The reason for which the other thief must have said "If thou be the Son of God, save yourself and us." Meaning Jesus expressly witnessed to them that He was the Son of God. What other knowledge do you want them to have to be saved? Can you clearly state it? The armed robber has therefore proved that you are a false teacher according to your statement above. No, it only means that your reasoning is myopic and that somrone must break simple truths into chunks for you to understand. |
MaxInDHouse:Lol. So, submitting to God's Word is the same thing as failing to see or rejecting clear prophecies according to you. We understand that the Pharisees were blinded. And there was a prophecy to that effect. So, failing to show a physical gathering is also an indication of not submitting to God's Word according to you. Lol. If we ask you to produce a scripture that supports what you said how, you'll be navigating a new bend without minding that your attention is not needed on that side of the road. You would see clearly what is written in the word of God and ignore it in preference for human doctrines, and yet you're here still having something to say? You don't fear God? |
Truthseeker10:He contradicts himself only when you're confused. Ask clarifying questions if the matter seems too much for you to handle. |
MaxInDHouse:Says someone who does not submit to the Word of God as his final authority. |
Osiris12:They actually hate each other. |
Osiris12:Hehehe. Saudi Arabia will expel the same USA that has been protecting it against Iran for decades? |
MaxInDHouse:Lol. Are your 8 rulers in the USA your Holy Spirit? |
MaxInDHouse:Did you have a prior knowledge that Jesus would become a King before you converted from Islam? |
MaxInDHouse:Nobody believes anything until ONE DAY. That one day is called the day of salvation: 2 Corinthians 6:2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. |
MaxInDHouse:Kikikikiki A last day prophecy about the Temple in Jerusalem, a type of the universal Church is your organized worshippers reference. Hilarious! Tell me how Isaiah 2:2-4 referenced organized worshippers with 8 men leading them astray with their words more superior than the scriptures. |
Truthseeker10:What knowledge did the robber on the tree have about Yahweh before he had assurance of paradise? One single question, you refused to answer. Meanwhile I have answers your endless questions. I won't answer you until you answer the question above. |
allthingsgood:All these reasons exist only in your imagination. And, those reasons are not enough for anyone to desire obliterating two countries. |
allthingsgood:Why didn't you tell Iran to stop chanting death to Israel and America, and stop preparing nuclear weapons for them if truly Iran didn't look for trouble. If you are chanting death to me and preparing nuclear weapons, I'll certainly come for you. |
MaxInDHouse:Abeg, go and sit down. Who said all the leaders in the world had it? |
MaxInDHouse:But you were the one using the wrong scripture to shoot yourself in the foot. Lol. You were claiming that the unseen is the proof of faith. Isn't it? I am particularly interested in the bolded. Now, let me ask you a question. Where exactly in the Bible did God say He was looking for organized worshippers? Hey, don't run, and don't deviate. Hit the bull's eye and tell us exactly where God says He was looking for organized worshippers or that some organized worshippers would arise in some future. You know I gave you proofs that God wants individual worshipers. All from the Word of God which you have rejected. Now, tell me where God expressly showed interest in having organized worshippers. I'm waiting for you. |
MaxInDHouse:Chai! I didn't know I still have to teach you what salvation means. Na wá o. A saved person is someone who has escaped the damnation of hell and now has a place in paradise. Salvation is basically an escape from the wrath of God. A privilege to be counted out of the Devine judgement on sin. So, if the robber was promised paradise, was he saved? Yes, he was, because he was n longer in danger of hell. I still have a lot to teach you if you're humble. But that's aside it's what he knew about the promised Christ that helped him if he never heard anything about Christ how do you think a dying man can tell another dying man to remember him in his Kingdom? He knew nothing right about Christ. He just knew that this Righteous man could only be the Son of God as He claimed, and must be someone who would have a Kingdom in the resurrection. I wouldn't be surprised if Jesus told both thieves on the cross about the Kingdom. He must have told them He was the Christ. Otherwise, that other guy would not be saying "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us " In a nutshell, the man belonged to no gathering. He had no theology. He had no sound knowledge of God or of Christ. He was not even baptized. Yet,the was saved. And my dear, if the robber Got to know Jesus through the teachings of the Pharisees ad you claimed, how come the Pharisees' who taught him didn't know Jesus? |
MaxInDHouse:You are just repeating what I said back to me instead of humbly acknowledging that you have been corrected by me. The Ethiopian Eunuch was a leader, so he was in the category of people who could have a copy. I told you leaders had copies. Even as you have the scriptures as a copy yourself, how much do you now know? You still come here everyday spewing ignorance and falsehoods such as the Jesus started reigning in 1914 nonesene. If you who have a copy can be so so wrong and ignorant, how much more those who couldn't afford the luxury, and only had people who read to them once a week. Those who read are also the same people who explain to them in their own doctrines. So what exactly do you expect the said robber to know? |
MaxInDHouse:Very ignorant of you! In those days, people were fed with doctrines. Except the Pharisees and the leaders, no one had a copy of the scriptures. So, they all gathered together in the temple or synagogues to hear doctrines. That's why the disciples didn't know anything about the Scriptures. They would often ask Jesus "But the Pharisees say so and so..." Instead of quoting the scriptures, they quite the Pharisees. That was the situation at that time. Notice that when Jesus preached for the first time in a synagogue in Luke 4, the Bible says a scroll of scripture was given Him to read. Why? He had no copy of His own. No one had a copy. Only the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Zealots, Herodians, and Scribes, and leaders had copies. Then, there was the synagogue and temple copies which Jesus must have studied from. The robber on the tree couldn't have been reading any scripture even if he had access to a copy. Moreso, everyone in that era had access to doctrines heard every Sabbath in the temple. No one had a Bible to read for himself. Therefore, the thief knew absolutely nothing whatsoever. He only had faith in Christ, the Son of the true God who was sent by Him for the remission of sins. He accepted the Lordship of Jesus without knowing anything else. He got saved. He didn't even get baptized. He apparently knew nothing about baptism. |
MaxInDHouse:And that notwithstanding, he was saved because of His faith in Christ alone. Not because he knew anything else besides. |
MaxInDHouse:Lol. Can you now see that you have been condemned by the very scriptures you quoted? Faith is the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen. Then, what makes you think that your organization which is a seen reality is of faith? Hey, the Scriptures say "the things that are seen are temporal, and the thing that are not seen, which are the real products of faith are eternal. The Hallmark of faith is not in gatherings or organizations. There are many gatherings and many organizations! Are they all faiths in God because they're organized? Why is your reasoning so warped? Faith in God is an individual and personal thing. God relates with individuals, not congregations or gatherings. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jack. All these are individuals. Even as a God of Israel, He is the God of that individual called Israel and his generations. Paul called Him, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is my God, and the God of my generation. A personal relationship with God is the most valuable relationship to God. That's why Jesus told the Samaritan woman "God seeks individuals (not congregations, organizations or gatherings) to worship Him in spirit (not spirits) and truth. |
AMINDA:How many times have they told you that it was the Kaduna state government that arrested the midget for the embezzlement of Kaduna state funds? Tinubu has not even yet started with him for tapping the NSA's phone. That one is a DSS matter. |
MaxInDHouse:See how you're making conjectures and spewing a lot of lies. The Pharisees doctrine deny that the Christ would suffer, let alone suffer with criminals! The Pharisees and scribes believe that the Messiah is coming expressly to reign as king. No suffering of any kind whatsoever. The very reason why they rejected Jesus was because He didn't come as a King. That's the reason why Pilates put the inscription "King of the Jews" on His cross, since Jesus claimed to be the Christ, and the Jews believe that the Christ is a coming mighty King of Israel who would deliver them from their enemies. That's the very reason Herod went for the kid because he thought a rival king had been born. All these were due to the Pharisees' doctrines If the robbers on the cross knew anything whatsoever about a coming Messiah, what they knew was that, He'll be King. A mighty one that subdues all enemies. They never ever thought of Him as someone who would suffer. Infact, in order to convince Jews, Paul frequently tried to show them that the scriptures foretell that "Christ would suffer". A notion squarely rejected by Jews. The other thief mocked Jesus based on this nation, "if you be the Christ, save yourself and us". The Pharisees also mocked Him on this basis."If He be the Christ, let Him come down from the cross." All because they thought the Christ is not expected to suffer at all. And if He should be subjected to any form of suffering, He should be able to outrightly escape it. In a nutshell, you have a very bad Theology. The thief on the cross had no true knowledge of who the Messiah was. Yet, he was in paradise with Jesus that same day as Jesus promised. He was only moved by Jesus' sinless life. This can be deduced from what he told the other thief. "We are here for our own crimes but this man has done nothing amiss." The thief had no other thing on his head than a personal conviction that Jesus was Christ the King. The Son of God. Simple! This further demonstrates that all you need to be saved is to know that God exists. And that the true God has sent Jesus His Son for your salvation. And to believe in the finished work that Christ did for you on Calvary. And to leave a life of sincere obedience to His Word. That's all. Every other thing is secondary, and is not a biblical requirement for salvation. |
MaxInDHouse:My dear, go and sit down. There's no Jew that does not believe in the doctrine of either the Pharisees or the Sadducees. Just go and sit down. The same Pharisees that Jesus called and adulterous generation. The same Pharisees that Jesus alleged had turned the temple into a den of thieves. Hahaha. So, someone who believes in their doctrine won't be a thief? Tell me another joke. I know you guys are very ignorant. What we need to do is accept Jesus as Lord (King) which means readiness to obey whatever the Christ commands. So, you're now coming to kow tow to my position, after all.thede back and forth. You're now re-echoing what I have been arguing against you. So, he doesn't even have to belong to any organization again. Shame would not allow you to admit that the bolded is my position which you have been arguing against and claiming that being a part of a gathering is a prerequisite for salvation. |
MaxInDHouse:Just as you have your own false teachings. The Adventists have theirs also. The Mormons also have theirs. All are claiming religion within Christianity like you so. Don't be ignorant. Jesus is coming for individuals. He's not coming for groups or organizations. "My reward is with me to give unto EVERY MAN (Not an organization) according as HIS WORK (not their world) shall be. Again, "Let EVERY MAN (not organization) strive for HOS OWN (Not salvation organizational) salvation with fear and trembling " Again: "Whose looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues therein, him not bring a forgetful heater but a doer of the works, THIS MAN (not this organization) shall be blessed in his deed " Again: "...I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it, let EVERY MAN (not organization) take herd how HE builds on it, for EVERY MAN'S WORK (not every organization's work) shall be tested with fire." Should I bring you more? I.okpw you won't listen because the Bible is inferior to you. It is your organization's doctrine you take and reference above the Word of God. You better repent and believe the Gospel. |
MaxInDHouse:Please quote whenever I said sincerity is enough to be saved! I dare you to do that. Provide the link and the quote. This was the scriptural foundation laid regarding this position from the very beginning: Acts 10:34-35 "So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but fin every nation anyone who fears him and hdoes what is right is acceptable to him." A scripture you have rejected while you go about establishing false doctrines. I have consistently mentioned the composite factors that make a man acceptable before God. Sincere service is just one of them. |
Truthseeker10:Why did you quote me without quote the scriptures that birthed the quotes. You blatantly blinded your eyes to the scriptures but what to argue based on your organization's false doctrines. Or, you want me to produce several other verses of Scripture other than Acts 16:31 which says "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Tell me, what other knowledge the robber had apart from believing in the Lord Jesus as the Scriptures have said. What other knowing did John 17:3 expect of you than what Acts 16:3 and John 3:16 have prescribed? "Whosoever' believes in Him shall not perish." Simple! He doesn't have to know doctrine. John 17:3 expects you to know that the only true God sent Jesus His Son to die for your sins and to save you. Believe in that knowledge and you'll have life eternal. |
MaxInDHouse:Did he have any doctrine in his head similar to what Christ taught His disciples other than that He knew Christ was the Lord and Savior, and accepted Him so? Can the doctrines of the Pharisees buy you paradise? Since you want to claim he had knowledge from Judaism. |
MaxInDHouse:The question you asked does not relate with anything I've said so far. I have said that someone who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, and is sincerely walking with Him and searches the Scriptures to truthfully understand the Word of God, etc is acceptable by God if he does righteousness. Now, tell me how your question relates. |
MaxInDHouse:Answer my question. |
