All the while, you'll be attributing those suggestions to yourself, thinking you're the one doing the thinking. All these while, your emotions are being negatively stirred up to act according to the contents of your thoughts.

In the final stages, there'll be constant repetitions such as seen above- I will kill him, he must die, I will kill him, I will kill him, he must die... This is done to reinforce the idea and have a total grip on your mind. At this stage, you're ready to act. Your eyes will open only after the deed is done or when you're caught red handed, and the demon has left you to your fate. You'll start saying 'I don't know what came over me.'

All that while when the demon was working on you, you'll shut down the still small voice of your conscience in favour of the demonic noise going on in your mind.

Once demons gain control of your mind, they can make you do or become anything they want. All they need to do is to get you to the reinforcement stage. The stages are broader are subtler than what I illustrated above. This is just a summary. It could take minutes, days, weeks or even months to reach the final stages. It's a process

Deeper Life Bible Church is not a building. So if the Church is good according to your statement, then her members are not exactly what you painted.
The fact that you listen to pastor Kumuyi means he teaches the right thing which a lot of Deeper Life members are living by.
Generalization of the character flaws of a few and and accusing Deeper Life members of not living our 'lives in righteousness, love and faith' shows your biased mindset towards Deeper Life members and how you contradict yourself concerning the members of a Church you agree are good.
BTW, who are you and how is your own life, Mr judge of Deeper Life?

When you know you're not interested in hearing the truth, why did you create a thread? I've been to Deeper Life and many other churches. No church is perfect. I've lived with many Deeper Life members. I don't hate Deeper Life. What I said about them is the truth from the experience I've had with quite a number of them. If you created this thread to argue instead of lending a listening ear and going back to the church to positively influence the church, then, you're insincere.

I'll regard you as an hypocrite if you created this thread to hear only good things said about Deeper Life. I guess you'll have been so happy if I have lied to you that Deeper Life members are perfect. Oh, oh, they're so good and nice. All of them are angels. That's why you want to hear, isn't it? Keep deceiving yourself.

God is loving and gracious but He is certainly not an indulgent Father.
Right from the Garden of Eden, He spelt out what He loves and hates.
There are things a real child of God must not do after conversion.
Perhaps you were once a member of Deeper Life but who knows why you left? Maybe you are presently in a 'church' where everything goes.
A backslidder will not feel comfortable with the teachings against sin and worldliness.
I don't know the Deeper Life members who were or are your neighbours but we know that haters are fond of fault-finding, false accusations, exaggerations and biased judgement.
All these hateful comments cannot change one's stand before God neither does it stop new members from trooping into Deeper Life on weekly basis. I heard so much of it yet it didn't stop me from joining Deeper Life.
For your information, pastor Kumuyi is not changing the biblical truth he has been teaching and standing on for more than 50 years.

My friend, you're not being sincere with yourself. I'm not sending people away from Deeper Life. Deeper Life is a good church. I'm talking about the character of its members outside the church walls.

There isn't a single accusations in my post except you want to see my analysis as an accusation. You yourself know that what I have said up there is the truth except you want to be living in self denial.

I don't hate Deeper life church except you don't want to get my points. I still listen to Kumuyi. You guys should sit up and become true examples of believers. Live your lives in righteousness, love and faith. If you can't balance these 3, you're just deceiving yourselves.
