FoodRe: The Price Of 33cl Coke/Pepsi In Nigeria Vs Other Countries. by fykes(m): 3:29pm On Feb 09, 2023
There are about 14 different types of coke sold in other countries.

Whilst I have only known one as coca cola all my life in Nigeria, I saw many different cokes in Sainsbury's I was just wondering if Nigeria is not qualified to have all these other types of coke

Unfortunately, I'm lacking the emboldened.
Life of an introvert.
Lemme suggest a few things...

- register in a gym and work out.
- go shopping for new clothes and shoes
- Try meeting women in very relaxed spots..pubs and bars.

These few tips could help with your confidence but believe me, nothing will be better than just giving the world a middle finger in your head and treating talking to all women like they are as ordinary as the trees by the road side.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Previous Company Sued Me To Court After I Got Another Job With A Company. by fykes(m): 3:09pm On Jan 27, 2023
Bro....just get a lawyer to study the letter and write them back...let him ask them to back off you or pay you all outstanding benefits and suppsed claims as spelt out in in the Nigeria labour laws for a person in your grade level....

The things is you gotta be smart or get a really smart lawyer.

Also let them know you will claim further damages if by their conduct, you lose your new job...
That clause in your appointment letter is not enforceable except in security settings where you may become a national security threat.

Shut up . Your chemical engineering degree didn't take you anywhere; it's your connections and their influences that did that . undecided
Kids. That's all you know how to do...

Take charge of your life nobody is responsible for your misery.

When you go to school and lazy about while your mates are studying, you will come out to blame the course you studied.

Chemical engineering is a very tough course and if you don't make a 2:1 you are OYO.
But tough is why it pays well. Tough is why it's for the brightest.

Connection and money yhen yhen yen...that's a lazy man's excuse and consolation for being broke.

Get a life son...you are responsible for what you make of your life

Guys I don't know about y'all...but UK is not that bad oo...I'm not even tall.
All you need is to be confident and good with conversations.
The average girl here wants to hear what you will say and yes the good looks helps.
I was told not to hit on women in buses and in public but I have and got great responses.
You only have to be respectful and good with words.
Dem white girls are easy ooo. Na one you go touch, she go help you go bring others. Make I pause here.

But I never saw where this op wrote that he married" a wife.
Cos a man that wants you outta his house cannot follow you to go and marry.
Again, a father will not kick out a legitimate grandchild regardless of what his son has done.

For saying he wants to arrest his father, na joker he be. You are just 31 and being jobless is not your problem, your problems are an entitled mindset and dishonor. Imagine boldly saying he had physical fights with his father?
While I don't excuse his impatience, your thoughts proves that over the years only your penis and age ever grew.

I don't pity you man...I pity the woman you are dealing with her life and the kids who didn't ask for any of this

Don't know what you talking bro...I'm still praying...listening to msgs like when I left...maybe not churches cos my church is far but I attend a local church here...not weekly like in naija...but I value my spiritual life more than all the £ here.
I still find time to wake at night and pray...it's a culture or maybe cos I live alone but I won't stop praying and seeking God the longest I live.

Yep I agree with you, people just assume and spread hearsay. imagine someone saying a single person will spend £100 to feed, is he feeding his whole village ahah. Another one thinks everyone does care and clean the backsides of older men, they 4got we are Doctors Engineers. Lawyers and scientist lust construction workers too. Every Nigerian I went to Uni with back in the early 2000s are all professionals we all band 8 and above. I think the planned systematic racism in the Eu plays a long way in not allowing Africans reach our full potential, and if thats all you k now you are stuck in that circle, unless one becomes higly favoured.
My dear when I saw the mumu expense breakdown I just knew that one has never left naija. U spend £1000 in a month in UK. I just shook my head and left him with his misery

Wow I might be wrong about the UK then. When I was looking for work in Europe the UK always had the lowest salaries and it wasn't appealing at all. Probably the good jobs are hidden since it's a class based society.
Exactly...now you get the drift. Not so hidden cos they are in plain sight. Just that you are expected to work your way up from bottom by working smart and investing on yourself for more value and productivity. Here they recognize value so much more and are more willing to give you a chance with every little show of consistency. I hope to work in Europe someday but for now...UK provides all the training and experience I need

Nothing to figure out here. You are still not earning so well as a professional. This income will earn you very average quality of life in the UK. The society is expensive, wages are considered low due to inflation and this explains why almost all professionals are on strike right now in the UK.

I didn't mean to hurt your pride but I just wonder why people come online to boast of something that are meant to be private. Living like a pauper in the UK, to come to Nigeria to impress is not how genuine professionals are meant to live.

You ought to own both worlds. You are still not being paid well, mister.
You can only banter on NL. I don't have any pride you or anyone you know can hurt.
God has blessed me and I don't banter words with jealous people. Face your own life...that's how growth happens

Men you should have gone to a better country where you will earn much more. I am quite sure you spend over 50 percent of your salary after tax on rent since you stay in London. As pro japa as I am, UK no be option at all.
Oh no I don't...I am Swizz schooled. Lived in Austria and trust me UK is better than Europe. Maybe US, But Im even speaking from a minimum wage point of view which I know must Nigerians start from.
Like every other places, There are cheap houses in London if only you know where to look. Have you considered people renting council houses? Most people jump on the bandwagon and say things without having any sort of street awareness of the localities abroad. As at when I was in minimum wage, I my rent was only a quarter of my monthly earning and if you ain't saving /investing to leave the minimum wage (which is so much easier in London than in Nigeria) then you don't belong here.

Nothing left to read aunty evening grin

Exaggerated 478£ x 4 = 1912£/month

Rent in a shared apartment/montg = 300£

Food and toiletries/month = 1000£

Electricity and gas/month so called 60£ in shared apartments

Transportation /month = 150£

Total low budget expenditure =1510 balance 402£

No bear and no cigarette and no pkekus for God knows eternity shocked
Funny you need to get a life for yourself before you can analyse another's. Whoever spends like u just wrote on a minimum wage has no plans for life...I can see why you are stuck where you are.

Well written sir! I couldn't agree more.

The grass is not always greener on the other side.

If not for insecurity and a deplorable economy, why would a Nigerian opt to become a second class citizen in nations that even tax the very air they breathe.
Tax the air you breathe? Who lies to y'all about this?
I made 300k/month as a project manager in Lagos with other side businesses and that looked well enough until I moved to UK.
Living in the so called expensive London, I pay £60 only for light and gas.
I make an average of £478 -500 in a week here after tax. Go figure.
