The M1 ultra is a disaster can not use more than 64gb ram something to do with the design. Thunderbolt is PCI 3 x4 which 4GB/s theoretical but only 2.8gb is revered for data. PC is now pcie 5 which is 64GB/s at X16. Where Tdp is not an issue PC both Intel and Amd are already ahead. Let's no go graphics look at what Nvidia is doing.
