i'm not really sure about your claim in the first paragraph as i checked it again and i saw that they were both mixed(english $ german) for some schools(no one was completely taught in german)...check the modified link below, thats if you still fancy it.

i'll only speak on what i know and have experienced...i dont have a strong answer to this,Sorry! tongue

lawlandc:
thank you for that information, I appreciate...pls I'm currently applying for admission but they are requesting IELTS or TOEFL result.. Any suggestions on how I should go about it? Thank you once again
Hey law
most schools require this(TOEFL OR IELTS). but you can explain to them that the language of instruction at secondary school and bachelors was totally in english,to see if they can waive it for you. if they accept your plea, then you can as well get a letter of English language proficiency from your university to back it up.
but if they insist on toefl or ielts, then i encourage you to do as they request tongue. Having this international test of english proficiency will make your chances unlimited when applying to schools unlike the letter from your university. registration for toefl is around $180.

Thanks a lot.. thats really helpful!
Two last questions if I may.
1. Is there any disadvantage with magistrate/high court certification?

2. I want to request ETS to forward my toefl. Their website says to allow 4-6 weeks for physical copies of scores to get to designated institutions. This is a bit too long. But I believe that if they send the scores electronically it is instantaneous. Do you have an idea how ETS forwards toefl scores to uni-assist and/or how long it takes to get to them? I already mailed uni-assist with regards to this inquiry but yet to get a feedback.
hey black,
donkafor already helped you out but lemme satisfy your curiosity by letting you know that he's right
1. no disadvantage unless the school requires another means of certification on their list of requirements.( one of the schools that admitted me didnt even request for certified docs)

2.i cant really say much on this as i didnt patronize uni-assit during my time but its certain that your documents will get to uni-assist if with the righ address. i supposed you should have the a hard copy of your score sheet by now?!(maybe that could suffice). i asked ETS to send my score sheet to me during my time and it was delivered under 4weeks...i hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback.
Please do you have any idea what mailing services are best to mail documents to uni-assist and the cost incurred?
Anytime!
depends on your pocket. i patronized TNT(mailing service under fedex) during my own time as it was fast and affordable to some extent,9-10k i think but probably the price must have inflated tongue. documents will arrive at most 3 days or 4. you can use this mailing service when your behind time(application deadline is getting close)

if you live or have someone in lagos, you can use ni-post at MMIA 2, its very affordable and your documents get there withing 7-10 days. Use this one when your not in a rush. price is between 3-5k(not sure of the present cost) and make sure its unregistered cus its gets there faster than registered

please I just finished my nysc and I want to do my masters in Germany.. what are the steps I need to take?, 2 what uni should I apply since I want to do masters in accounting or any related course?, my gp is 2.95 do I have any chance?
hey law
you already identified the course you intend to go for so that answers your first questions(steps you need to take). G.p shouldn't be much of a problem, thats if the heart is willing to try. Sound and convincing Motivation letter can make up for it in some cases or most.

in the mean time browse through the link below, make your choice of course from the related courses available and see if you meet their requirements.
