AgentONE:
Here is the transcript of my Visa Interview I did today:

German interview (FHWS 2017)

I got to the Embassy at about 6.03AM, even though my appointment was slated for 10AM. Oga Paulinus gave us special attention by walking us through on the proper form of arrangement of our docs, he did this taking three people at a time. After scaling through, we were ushered into the main building where we sat down and waited for the VO to get prepared.

Venue – Main building for long term Visa Cubicle 3
Interview Format – I just dey shout through the glass, she no even tell me to pick up the phone during the interview. She go sit down, na you go stand (I nearly faint cos all my waist wan cut cos of the long standing, the woman no even pity me or even tell me sorry!)
Cubicle 3 light finally goes ON, It felt like I was been called to appear before the Judgement seat of Christ Jesus. Na so I pick myself up, dust my yansh, pack my docs and took a deep glance at other applicants that were seated, before heading to the main entrance.

Immediately I got in, I was given given another format for arranging my Doc (this was written on a piece of paper by the VO). While I sorted my Doc, she collected my admission letter and passport, then keyed in the details into her computer.
Then collected my Visa Applicant form and passport, did my Biometrics, gave me the print out result to sign confirming that my details were correctly typed by her, which I did.
Then she returned my form.
While She was doing this I asked regarding using Block account for Interview and then opting for Sponsorship Letter after you interview, She turned over to her colleague in the other cubicle (the German white Lady) and asked her the same question as though to confirm before giving me an answer, the white woman affirmed that it is allowed.

P.S: Later while she was keying in my details, she begin asking me those Visa Interview-like questions, For my mind I be like shey dis woman done start interview already without telling me. As I spy her monitor, I noticed she was no longer inputting my details but was now keying in my response in German, Na so I compose shaperly.

The Questions I can remember are thus written below:

1- Do you speak German?

2- Name of school and intended course of study?

3- Previous educational background?
4- Why won’t you be completing your studies in Nigeria (am currently studying Mechatronics in Nigeria)
5- How many semesters is your intended course and explain the curriculum?
6.How did you get to know about Germany?
7.What is Mechatronics?
8.What is control systems?
9- Why Germany, Why not UK,Canada or even continue here in Nigeria?
10- What is your aim after completing your study?
11- Do you have any relative in Germany?
12-Do you have any relative in the EU, where?
13-Where does your Uncle work and how much does He earn?
14-Explain your relationship with this Uncle of yours, like how is He an Uncle to you?
15-Means of sponsorship?
16-Tell me what you know about Germany?
17-What is the Population?
18-How many countries borders Germany?
19.Where is your school Located?
20.Apart from Germany, which other country Speaks German?
21.Name the country that is a Schengen Country but not a member of the EU?
22-What's the date of German re-unification?
23-What do you know about your school city?
24-Which city is the capital of your intended state?
25-Have you paid your semester fee?
26-What steps have you taken towards preparing for your studies?
27-How about your accommodation, what type do you intend on renting?

That was it for me, then she told me you did well for a Bachelor Degree applicant just be hopeful and prayerful, as we will contact you by mail.
hello congrats!...what did you answer in numbers 4 & 15?

Good Evening All, Pls I'm a graduate of Industrial Chemistry. Second Class lower. I want to apply for Master degree 2018 what are details and documents needed to submit how do I apply and search for schools thanks . Hope to hear from you soon Must I stamp All documents submitted
hello mrchemist! please go through the link below(copy and paste everything) and browse through the related courses. Some school do accept online applications while other would prefer you to send the hard copy to them by post. each schools have there own requirements so i suggest while going through the link, check for their individual requirements but i think you'll need your waec or neco,Bsc certificate and transcript and probably a proof of English proficiency letter from your school(thats if you dont have toefl or ielts). You apply through the school site from the link below...You need to make photo copies of your school leaving certificates and notarize them(stamp) thats the only way you documents can be considered for application and review. Hope this helps

Good-day brethren!

its very painful after all the whole stress of getting admission and yet no appointment date with the embassy.it's HARD,it's DEPRESSING and it's FRUSTRATING!!!. i can understand and feel the pains of some of our brothers without dates BUT...CALM DOWN! easy to say? yes! but not easy to exercise. this is just august, early august. lets not allow these obstacles to get the better of us(our emotion). it might just end up exposing our obvious desperation and intention(which might be mis-interpreted) by the germans. We still have the whole of august and september for them to come up with a decision. lets be optimistic and seek God's intervention. Once again, its not easy but i plead with you all in this situation to be PATIENT!

Please i need schools that offer microbiology at the bsc level and hold their classes in English. Already I have 100lvl transcript from a Nigerian University.

Many thanks for your quick responses.
hello Mr smart,it seems there's no school offering you specific choice of course atm, with English as the language of instruction(for BSc). there're other nice related course which you might even find appealing when you try them so, i'll suggest you go for other related courses to avoid unneeded regret in the future...feel free to shoot any questions, its always welcomed.

Good day fellaz.. plz I need ideas about something... I hold a bsc in Physics, also I've got several professional qualifications in ICT (i.e computer hardware / software and programming), and HSE (Health safety and Environment, including OSHA). I wish to do my MSC in Germany in an ICT related course. I'm kinda bothered since what I intend to study isn't directly related to my first degree. How do I go about this? Can I augment my application with my professional qualifications? Suggestions / ideas are welcomed. Thanks
hello. Please go through the link below(copy everything and paste).you should be preparing to apply for summer(oct-dec) or winter(mar-july) applictions. the link entails ICT courses and courses related to IT. if the course you intend applying to is not directly in line with your Bsc,its not really a big deal i think. Just be prepared to write a good motivation letter to show why you intend to go for that particular course which is not directly in line with your Bsc,as most schools would request of you. You have every chance/possibilties. so don't get bothered at all...in the mean time browse through the link below, there's a bunch of them to pick from. hope it helps!

Hello, thank you so much for your response. Someone told me to either I get a scholarship or have a blocked account because most schools in Germany are free. But my main question is this, approximately how much do I need to have to start a life in Germany? I'm looking at beginning the process next year. But I want to have full details. As per my course of study, I'm looking at Masters in any Digital Media/Digital Marketing related course. Please advice on the location as well. I would like location thats peaceful and easy to get a job. Thanks.
*Note*-I'm still in Nigeria(visa process)
hello, or a sponsor in Germany. And yes most schools in Germany are free tuition although some have have introduced tuition fee while others are planing on introducing. i can't accurately tell you the amount to take with you but i think 2000- 3000euros(or more)should be able to sustain you pending on the city and time you get a job. if you have blocked account or scholarship then you can take less it all depends where your source of income is coming from. I'm offering my opinion based how long i've been on this thread and from others who have passed through my shoes(and presently in Germany). As for the course i'll send you a link to browse through after i'm done with my search....again i cut my coats here as i'm not in germany but i think in general its a peaceful country if you keep the rules. if you understand and speak the language then i think job wont be much of a problem(My opinions).

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie. And I'm looking at furthering my education in Germany on a scholarship basis, hopefully, I have a very good first degree in computer science. Currently I'm working to gather funds to begin the process. My first question is this, how much can I gather to start the process? And also to live in Germany at least for the first 1-2months. Thank you for your replies.
hello, welcome to the fam! i really don't know where to help from but i would try. there are three means to get access this country(germany):Blocked account of about 8760 euros(not sure), Sponsorship letter which shows you have someone in Germany whose working and earns atleast 1500euros that can fund your education and lastly scholarship fund. for starting the processing you need to first find the course/courses related to your field(i can help you with this) ,then apply. For masters studies, most schools need your documents sent to them by post while few applications are done online. when you apply you will see the documents each individual school require from you.You need a test of English language certificate or proof of English proficiency as part of application documents...i cut my coat here.you should prepare to apply for summer(oct-dec) or winter(mar-july) application 2018, with dates depending of the schools you intend applying to.If you need help in finding any course you wish to apply to just let me know anytime.

good evening guys am new here and I wish to apply to any German school for my masters degree in civil engineering. please which can I apply to that can accept me for fall or winter semester and do all German varsity require English tests. Thanks
hello, welcome to the fam! we have winter(mar-july) and summer(oct-dec)applications only, with dates depending on the schools. Most schools are closed entirely for winter this year so,you might consider preparing yourself better for the summer applications(2018). some schools don't really require international recognized English proficiency test certificates(ielts, toefl,GRE etc) for masters program but a proof of english proficiency from your university can suffice. So i would advice you get anyone within your capabilities but to increase your chances, having the international English test certificates(ielts, toefl) could also be of great help to you (depending on the school your applying to once again). In the mean time surf your way through the link below(copy everything and past),there are lots of courses related to civil engineering and also your preferred course,Civil engineering.

i'm sorry i cant render much information on this since i didn't make use of their services during my own time of application. the little i know about them is you either go to their site using the school website which you intend to apply to and register with them, pay the service fee which is 75euros for the first school and subsequently 15euros for additional schools you intend to apply to and then you have to send your application documents to them by post as requested by the school you intend applying to...that's as far as i can go, but mind you some schools in germany have their deadline as july 15 which is very close.i don't know if you can make but if you can't then take your time and prepare well for summer application or winter next year(i wont advise you to rush). you could also browse through the previous pages to see and confirm from those who made use of uni-assist to make further inquiries. so feel free cus its beautiful family here!
