I met Kunle on a WhatsApp group last year. We chatted for a few months. He told me he was based in Dubai as a business man and also said he was looking for a woman to marry.

He was not ready for games and sounded like my kind of man. I didn’t believe him initially because it sounded too good to be true. He spent quite a lot on me. He sent me gifts and money regularly.

The first time we met in person after doing Skype and WhatsApp video calls for months was in May 2017. He proposed to me in a popular five star hotel on Maryland (some of you may know the hotel). I was in total bliss, too much joy!

I met his parents who were living in Abeokuta after that. He met mine in Lagos here and we agreed that we should start planning the wedding so the next time he comes, it will be in August 2017.

Of course, he sent the money for everything. He was always calling and all. My friend Joy was concerned that  I was rushing things but I didn’t listen cos I just didn’t want to think any thing negative.

Besides, I already knew his parents. I practically visited his parents every weekend after he introduced me to them. They loved me. They were happy their son was getting married because they had been on his case for so long.

Kunle is 42 and this would be his first marriage. We got married according to plan last August 2017. It was the happiest day of my life. It was such a beautiful day. My friends and family were all there.

Everyone was happy for me and I was grateful to God. I had waited for my dream man. I kept myself, I was 34. It was hard but I am glad it paid off.

My problems started after our wedding night. We made love that night. He was my first and it was beautiful.

In the morning, he got a call from Dubai. He was called for an important business call. He had to leave immediately as the international partners were expecting him in South Africa that evening.

Sadly, we had to put our honeymoon plans on hold. He promised to send me a ticket to Maimi next weekend so we can start our honeymoon. I bade him goodbye and that was the last I heard of him.

Cynthia Agomuo, elder sister to Jennifer Agomuo, who was reported to have committed suicide after allegedly killing her boyfriend, Dave, has come out to narrate what really transpired between her late sister and her sister's boyfriend.

Cynthia, who study in same Imo State University (IMSU), and leave in the same room with the deceased, said her sister was killed by Dave and not the other way round.

She noted that Jennifer, who broke up with the boyfriend six days before the incident, received series of threat by Dave that he will deal with her.

Since the death of my sister I have not been with my phone because it was submitted to the police as I could not handle seeing my own sister who I left to school dead as I returned and for this reason I and my family have not been able to post or to see what has been posted on the internet about my sister and I was so sad to see how quickly people post news without knowing the truth.

My sister had already broken up with Davis Uzoechi for about 6 days past because he abuses her, hits her and always threaten to kill her if she ever tries to leave him but my soft hearted sister out of pity and whatever stupid love she thought she had for this devil didn’t want to report him to the police, her fear was that police could hurt him and she won’t be able to live with that so instead she had a friend that called him on the phone and warn him to stay away from her and after that we have tried to be very careful of him knowing how mean he can be.

I make sure she goes out whenever I’m going out and I let her know when I’m back so she would come back and even she didn’t have anywhere to go she goes to stay with her friends until when I’m back....

This is happening now in Awka, there is confusion in the area as we speak. Security agents found three heads in these 4 student's bag. As young as they're. These girls are in their early 20's. They were holding a big handbag and they boarded a taxi from from Unizik junction, heading to Nnewi.
The driver being vigilant & sensitive felt a strong smell coming from their bag. The horrible smell made the driver suspicious, whom then used the light to signal the police at the stop and search point but because of 50 naira, the police were too busy to notice this.

When the taxi driver got to Nnewi, he raised alarm and the girls were apprehended. The driver asked the security angents to search the girl's bag. Many people were afraid, not knowing what was happening. One of the security agents was shocked when he opened the girl's bag and found three heads in the girls bag.

After cross examination of the heads, the securities found out that the heads were known heads in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has approved N33,000 as the new minimum wage for over 100,000 staffs on his payroll.

This was made known by Mohammed El-Yakub, the Managing Director of Atiku’s Gotel Communications.

According to El-Yakub, “the N33,000 new salary scale, which takes effect from Nov. 2018, includes domestic servants and all categories of workers on the former VP’s payroll.”

The former vice president took this decision following the recommendation of N30,000 minimum wage by the tripartite committee set up by the federal government.
