Hey girl, are you Chinese as in from China? Cause I'm Malaysian Chinese. . . Well Sort of. .  Uhm. . I think you need to open a new thread for your topic but however if you really want to know more about Nigerian guys, I think its up to you to discover it for yourself. Get to know his friends and family. Talk to his friends and family members. Go browsing around here and elsewhere and chat to any Nigerian folks. You will come to know that the people in here will be the same like anywhere else. (Well, at least thats what I come to know of eventually). And don't bother so much about the language cause I can understand well what you're trying to say so its all good with me.

And nope, I dont believe that Nigerian people will eventually get married to their own people in the end. Have seen many Nigerian people getting married to other cultures and live happily evr after.

Uhm. . . . . Depending what type of Chinese tribe you're looking at. As far as I know, I've heard of some Chinese tribe whom marries their relatives and some Chinese tribe whom could marry the same wife as their brother's. . . Weird though but thats their culture. But majority of the Chinese people today don't really do that anymore but stil there are a few. One tribe which I know still doing it is th Shangri-La Tribe in China.

And please don't force your guy to do something which he does not like doing.

Nooo. . . . Not leave him (unless if you dont love him anymore). In life, you have to tolerate with your partner and he has to do the same thing for you. lets say if he loves you to shave your head bald but you dont want to so doesn't mean he have to force you to shave your head bald and if you dont shave your head bald, he will leave you just because of that? Now thats the same example on what I mean by dont force your guy to do something which is does not like doing.

Hey OrumbaS89, Wow! I can't believe that you have been reading all of the posts in here. Guess you must have thought that we are crazy people. Ok to answer your questions.

1) Yes, am very lucky to have met my bf and will try my best to keep him. Use to be a devil believer but am not am a Catholic right now.

2) Ok, to cut the story short. Omarion (LordChaser), Jake (AshtonJake), Anthony (AnthonyKil), Mig (dragonslay) and I are from the same University before. All of us studied Hotel Management but different specialization. Omarion is specializing at Sales & Marketing, Jake at Front Office, Anthony at Bar tender, Mig in Food & Beverage and me I'm specializing at International Hotel Management. How we met? Well, theres a club called Da Buds Club and its actually a club run by guys and the boys in here are the ones whom created the club. This club is for boys to do stuff together, like Sorority Boys. Anyways, few months running the club, its not good. There were no solid activities, no funds to do any activities nothing. . . . . So I kinda look down on them calling them stupid and gay (I did not like them that time because they were always out disturbing us and bashing up our premises. . . It was a long cold war between the sexes) And then one day Anthony told me that if I'm that great why not run the club and see if I could do it better than them and so I did and thats how we became friends. Now the club has female and male members but if you have noticed in our ealier post, the club is running down once again. But anyways, thats how we know each other.

If we did not get along, I would make them get along. Life is too short to have enemies and its always advisable to treat everyone with respect cause you never know, you might need them one day in the future.

Any guys will do provided he has a good personality. Guys with good personalities are such a turn on. 

But for me, I usually attract the not so good men (gangsters, mafias, loansharks, thieves, drug dealers - those behind bars) which I dont know why . . . . . Usually. . .

I don't smoke but if I happen to be with a guy that smokes, I would persue him to stop smoking slowly. Take one step at a time, one toe at a time. I'm good at convincing.  So yes, I don't mind dating a smoker and will change him eventually.

Well, since I always believe in the attraction of a good personality, therefore a bad breath is not as vital for me when comes to dating a guy. I always know that if theres something which you dont like in your partner, you can always confront that person.

If my date has a bad breath, I would excuse him and give him a chance and will ignore it. Second time, give him a mint. Third time and he still dont get the picture, tell him in a nice way. Fourth time and he still has a bad breath, suggest that he drink water, detox, cleansing of teeth at the dentist, breath spray, brush his teeth and tongue a little longer, dont eat duck as its highly toxic (all these might be the cure to his problems - but of course have this discussion with him to identify what exactly is the real problem towards his bad breath) and am sure after all that, he will be Mr. Stanky Free.

Just because the person has a bad breath, its not nice to dump the person just like that cause I dont think having a bad breath is the end of the world. Theres always something you can do about it.

For your information, I have a half Nigerian half Jamaican boyfriend (but he is more exposed to the Nigerian culture) and he knows alot of Malaysian culture and language and food so I kinda feel that if I learn his culture and a little of his language, I might be able to surprise him so I went online and I found Nairaland Forum which is obviously a Nigerian forum. I came in here and learn so many cultures, food, mind set, knowledge about Nigeria and a little bit of their language. Not untill last month a guy name Anthony from the United States of America came looking for me in here and he smartly decide to invite all you guys in here as well! So there, thats how you guys end up here.

Why are you scared? Scared of what? I think the only Nairalander whom will bite your head off in here is me. The rest are friendly folks so yeah, be very afraid of me and only me. . . . . . . . .

At first I don't believe in karma but I have this diary where I will write it every single day about anything and everything. From my life to other peoples life and anything which I could think of daily. Then after a year, I would read back the whole thing and thats when I realize that there is such thing as karma. Mig, with your negativity thats why the world is getting worser and worser. If you know the bad part of it, why not try to do good and improve? If you realize it, why not make a change to begin with as an individual? I know no ones perfect but if you could do something good, even a small good thing in your life, its more than enough and I dont think having a good manners is that hard to follow. . .

1) Look at my signature. . . . . I told you that race and color is not in my dictionary so basically all you guys in here are the same race as I am ok?
2) I'm not on anyone's side. I'm just saying that this forum is public domain and anyone could enter anywhere to give their own general opinions. If we are to judge, by right we cannot enter in here cause we are not Nigerians since this is after all a Nigerian Forum to begin with. You dont hear any Nairalanders kicking us out from their forum do you? So what gives you the right to kick them out?
3) Manners. Most of you guys have no manners and you need to learn how to be polite and to respect other people. Even if you think that someone dont respect you, why should you be at their level?
4) Whats the point to bash someone and waste your time and energy and also by doing so, you will increase your negative energy?
