This is my own issue
Summary is the inverter always shows battery voltage higher than what it actually is (the range difference is not consistent) so the inverter thinks the battery is full when its not and doesn't charge.
At first I had to get an external cc but It later worsened to the inverter showing 30+V and then shutting off due to over voltage so it has been in storage for months now.
Online search says its a voltage resistor or something that might be bad.

When I put on the load in the house, the battery voltage ran up to about 28v plus then the solar charging line went off again

I just tried again, turned off everything

Put on the battery then inverter (27.1v)

Connected the load (It ran up to 28.3v??)

Then turned on the solar and its the same not charging but voltage is now down to 26.9v

I turned on my fridge and the voltage is up to 27.4v but still no solar charging

I'm lost now but the Voltage seems to be all over the place.

I Will likely be posting how we repair and carry out troubleshooting of hybrid inverter.
Error 09, Error 52, Error 53, Error 57 etc.

Mind you I am hoping to pen down this fixs so I can get to learn more about fixing this inverters from senior men who are behind the scenes, then also to help lot of DIY/hobbyist carry out repairs too......

Hopefully I stay committed to updating this logbook.

The sender requested they send it back. She was told its not with them anymore, d agent said it was handed over to custom. One of their agent even threatened the lady by saying even if she didn't collect the items, she will still pay the fee.

Let them return it
If you pay, they'd bring another payment to make

I installed the 3000w easun from Odimbannamdi for my parents last year after a Schneider Homaya I bought turned out to be the worst thing I've spent my money on.
It powers a fridge and freezer (Thermocool) at the same time so it should have no issues with yours as long as the freezer hasn't been tampered with by technicians

The inverters are basically the same thing thing so they should be able to sort it
I'm thinking the issue should be what you talked about it's not measuring voltages correctly.
It shows full and 28.4 volts on grid charging meanwhile the battery is 26.2 across the terminals

If not service center, using external cc is the best option rather than someone random tempering with the panel

Mine is old (Easun) plus I'm not sure they have a service center here or is it something others can repair?
I'm thinking of just using one spare Powmr 60A controller for the solar charging while I figure the solution.

You might need to take the inverter to their service center.
If you can remember, I had something like the your issue with my SMS inverter which I thought was acting funny due to partial/voltage leakage from my negative cable from the panel but apparently after I solved the cable issue, the inverter returned to same issue after some days so I ended taking it their office which they worked on.
When it was opened, it was discovered that some varistors was burnt which they changed and mppt card program and it's been working fine since last week Thursday.
Mppt issue was having 270v from panels but inverter seeing 25v.

I noticed it some days ago too when my battery was full but once I put load on it it started charging again so was confused seeing it today weather is dull.

This was my thought initially too until last Saturday when a client I did a fence PV installation that's about a year old with no complain whatsoever called . His system is off-grid, sachet inverter, switched off during a night thunderstorm.

He came back to find his inverter no longer working, but controller and other devices working fine.

I'm still wondering what happened.

2 other tenants with roof installation had their on line inverters taken out also.

I charge via solar only so it has a knife switch if I need to use it

My panels are not on the roof because of this.

This thunder issue is already messing with my mental state and it’s kind of making me wonder if God is punishing me somehow
Just earlier this year my hybrid inverter got fried and then I decided to get a satchet inverter from one of the seller on here and the inverter been working perfectly fine carrying my two freezers and normal lighting points and charging of my devices.
Went to school yesterday to write an exam and then it started raining, sure can’t run out of examination hall to come home to turn off my system so along the way the thunder strike again and on getting home I realize the inverter isn’t supplying anymore.
Once again I’m without power supply and I have to go to charging stations to have my phone charged.
Please somebody save my dying soul because I’m sad
Could it be because the house I live in is a storey building?
Even my guy without thunder arrestor isn’t affected, why always me?
I already bought all the materials for thunder arrestor installation.
I’m afraid more than ever do buy a normal inverter again because it’s never easy losing money!

I'm suspecting there's an error somewhere.

I turned off the breaker for the panels but nothing changed.

I'd wait when it's dark and turn off the battery let me see what happens in the morning.

what is the PV input Voltage, snap the side of the inverter where the specifications are.
show the PV voltage page on the inverter as well.
what is your panel configuration, total voc.
It may mean the starting voltage has not reached yet.
this is what I experienced at some point. the starting voltage is 150V. I watched the PV input voltage reach 149, but it didn't start.

It's really cloudy today though.

This is very true. My 8 x 18650 charger/analyser that I bought and never used have failed to work.

My Reolink 5MP camera I bought and kept for like 2 years (forgot I had it ) has gone bad too.

Same thing happened to my heart rate monitor I bought and never used. Remembered the other day I was doubting the rate my watch gave after an exercise The thing no longer works.

All these devices no longer works after about 3 years of it been left in their pack

Sorry for your experience my brother. Please take it up oo. Imagine swallowing 1.2mil in broad daylight and still refusing to offer support. This is a timely advice and I'll avoid the inverter like a plague. Many thanks for your contribution

The Chinese Inverters give better support than this Homaya from my experience.

My Schneider Homaya inverter that I didn't enjoy for up to 3 months is still with them almost one year now

First they were giving stories,

Now they aren't replying to emails or support tickets.

When I have time I would take it up.

10mm PV Cables for such a small unit? Honestly? Why do this?. You will loos energy bro.
The most practical wire for solar panels is PV1-F 750V-1000V Anti-Stretch Shielded Outdoor solar cable, this cable is most common in 4mm2 and 6mm2. A very rough rule of thumb is for arrays of less than 20A can use 4mm2, and 20A or larger should use 6mm2. If a larger size is required, it is recommended to run twice from the array to the solar controller.
