abbeymighty: Good morning house, please i which is better ways of connecting 4pcs of 300watts solar panels , is all in parallel or 2 series and parallel. thanks in anticipation
Interesting. Please what type? Do you know the bms type in it? I actually went through the process you described but I'd try it again when next I'm at the location.
saint2ace: To process to save settings on the powmr CC is first to cut off power from the panels first through Ur isolation switch, then you make the changes to the settings, after which to save the settings, you must now disconnect power from the battery to the CC, so the CC goes off completely. Allow it to be off for 10secs, then switch on power from the battery first and next switch on power from your panels.
Be mindful that if you miss any of the steps, you will lose your settings and the CC will return to the default lead acid battery profile.
NB: If you followed this process and you still lose your settings memory, then you might have a faulty device. Cheers....
Same here I stopped using the CC. I notices if the battery is low, it charges normally but once it's full it starts going over. I actually planned to get another cc to test but this confirms it. What type of Lithium battery do you have?
dejidotun2000: I get what you mean about the calibration but that isn't what is at play here. The CC maintains the set 27.6V for some time but "losses" the setting later and begins to output over 30V. It wasn't like that initially and when I noticed it, I also thought it might be due to voltage drop along the battery cable but after several checks and attempts to calibrate what I realised was that the CC was actually "forgetting" the set voltage. Feat didn't allow me to use the CC since then.
dejidotun2000: I have a powmr 60A that behaves the same way.I set lithium charge profile and set both bulk and float charging to 27.6V but I see the CC putting out 30V.
swagifted: Please if you have used a 5 kva 48v hybrid inverter, from any brand, and for up to two years at least, and the issues were minimal, please delight me with your experiences and types you went for.
There's a Must with these specs that's been installed for almost 2 years. No issues yet, it's practically used for 24 hours at times
It was installed with 4 tubular batteries and 9 350w auxano panels.
brightk: premium ssds are a little bit pricey. Wetin full market now na shinko. U go see 3yrs warranty on top label. Seller go say e nor gurantee dat one.
I bought a 500gb p3 plus directly from crucial.com
I tried to clone my windows into it,
Since then it's refused to be read by anything,
The powercycle they told me to do isn't working either and I'm just thinking of the cost to return.
I bought this since the other vendors I was chatting with either stopped replying to messages or didn't have this size (I've been chatting with the seller since 2021 without buying anything and always got responses to enquiries) Paid on Friday, Had it in PH Wednesday.
After mounting, I noticed the charge controller (powmr 60a) at the location was running above 30v even if I set it below 28v so I turned off solar charging till I'm able to stay there and observe. Even at that, without extra charging, it powers the freezer, fridge, TV and gotv at the location from morning to evening, then TV and gotv from 5pm till 10 with l power left when it's switched off then. Would update as time goes on.
ameh99: 24v 100AH lifepo4 battery pack ready to leave
What's a good 10kv inverter model? I want to do an installation with at least a 15-20kw LifePo4 pack and panels but I'm not sure what inverter is good at that range.
justcallmenuel: 1pcs of 10kwh felicity lithium battery 1pcs of 5kva 48v felicity hybrid inverter 1pcs of 220Ah Amaze tubular battery and 1.4kva nexus inverter ready for delivery to Potiskum, Yobe state.. All thanks to Engr Inuwa Abdullahi for the patronage, God bless you.
My Schneider homaya is still with the company. I'm sure they want to hold it for a year first as I said I'm not paying.
gadgetplanetng: Sorry I didn't get back I was able to return it to the Schneider store (First Option).
Now they are telling me it's board damage and it is not covered by warranty.
Is this true for the Schneider Homaya? Because this happened barely one month after purchase and while I've been going back and forth with them, 2 people with inverters (TBB and Soccer Power) have had their inverters repaired under warranty without all this stress.
I honestly regret ever buying that inverter
chris81964: Inverter Warranties are they real? I remember my first purchases with excitement, I was finally going to install solar inverters branded with my name. It was a disaster of epic proportions. The inverters failed on installation and the supplier blamed us for connecting the inverter to a large generator. Totally BS answer. This was Tanfon Lily. Then we did Yiyen and my rep and the company stopped answering messages and email, when we tried to file a warranty claim. Another supplier told me that they would send me replacement parts whenever I placed another order. I have detailed my experiences in this video of the good, the bad and the ugly. Please share yours and comment on mine. Thank you. Victron Energy SolaX Power Schneider Electric Solar LuxpowerTek Deye Inverter
Funny thing I saved the list on a Google drive doc last year. Do you have an idea which shipping works currently and average shipping time? Its been years I shipped from Alibaba.
samir101ng: Baba, go back through the pages of the thread and see the list of LifeP04 vendors on Ali Baba.
Contact them and negotiate a price. Some can ship directly to Lagos DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) and you pick at the shippers warehouse or they ship to a freight forwarder of your choice who will handle shipping on your behalf. You use your dollar card to pay using Ali Pay and that's it. The alternative you contact any of the lithium sellers here and buy from them with their additional cut on top. Choices dey.
I got this to replace the Schneider homaya I got for my parents that's brought me nothing but grief (It's been with them for weeks (maybe months) now) since February I was comfortable ordering it as it's Easun (same brand as the 3kw hybrid I use - which I got here too in 2021). Package came in, it's tiny, probably smaller than my backup Ceepro so I was a bit bothered but it's a beast in a tiny package.
Installed it yesterday for them and they used it overnight on their weak batteries (planning to get 2.4kwh LFP but Valto doesn't have stock)
This is my third (or fourth?) transaction with Iinnov8 - mostly charge controllers/breakers and everything's working well.
Iinnov8: Re-introducing the 3000W EASun Pure Sine Wave inverter (12V/24V)
Price: 66,000
Customer review attached
Youtube link video shows the inverter powering an inductive electric cooker, pressing iron, microwave, washing machine, deep freezer, etc
Key Features: - Peak power 3000w; Continuous 1500w - Offgrid (no charging function. you need an external charger for your batteries). Recommendation avalable - Consumes very low power (<5w) from your batteries to invert, so you will get more backup time from your batteries - Protection against overload. It only trips off with an alarm sound and light when overloaded, but returns to normal working when you switch off and on again. - Protection against surges from sparks, partial contacts and reverse polarity connections
mahkanjuh: One thing that wowed me about my TBB inverter, it was repaired under warranty, no cost at all, except I took it back to the company/factory. I called a so called electrician to help separate house load, only God knows what he connected one to another, he put on inverter after the so called separation and it was a loud spark, and inverter refused to give output again. But it was fixed without hassles within a day back at the company
The funny part is, I was the one that recommended TBB to the guy who bought it from reviews here. I don't know what made me buy the Schneider honestly
FEGEITOK: Will reach out to you this weekend to move things one notch up
Sorry I didn't get back I was able to return it to the Schneider store (First Option).
Now they are telling me it's board damage and it is not covered by warranty.

What's a good inverter to get these days? What I need: - Durable - Low power draw - Has an internal charger - Affordable - Excellent customer support (very important) - Has settings for LiFePo4 batteries
I'm looking at something between 1.5kv and 2.5kv (24v)
I first contacted ccc.nigeria@schneider-electric.com which directed me to solarsupport-emea@schneider-electric.com who directed me to First Options in Port Harcourt.
Someone from First Options came to pick it up, at first they said it's the fan that's the issue and they'd change it, then the next morning called and told me it's the board claiming it's lightening damage which is strange as the ceepro inverter which was swapped out has been there almost 3 years and still works perfectly.
I don't stay where it is so I'm not sure what went wrong.
I believe my main issues are having to start repairing the inverter so soon when the one that was there has never been repaired &having to pay for repairs in less than 2 months
I'd be very glad if you can take it up.
FEGEITOK: I have 2 units of the exact same inverter. I have even used it to pump water though I had to turn off other appliances. Not the best use of the inverter I agree but I have had zero issues in the 2 years that I have run them.
That said do you mind sending it to Abuja so it can diagnosed and possibly repaired here?
When you said you sent them messages? Do you mind sending those messages along with the proof of purchase? Was it via the Schneider website or the reseller you bought from?
Who did you buy from?
My distributor is a big name Schneider shop.
I just put a call to them to find out if they would not mnd taking a look at the unit. They said they do not mind.
Do you have an idea what happened that caused it to go bad?
You said it is still under warranty. Do you have proof of purchase? If yes, I would like to help you take up the matter.
Homaya – Solar Hybrid System 1500VA || AEH-SHI01-1500
I got this for my parents.
The last message I sent them almost a month ago they just ignored. I expected better from the company I get far better service from unknown China brands.
Port Harcourt.
FEGEITOK: Inverter? If yes which model to be exact? Where are you based?
