NUPRC was also working to cut the cost of oil production to about $20 a barrel, down from between $25 and $40, by providing incentives to oil producers.

How much is a barrel internationally?
We sell as between 2x and 3x production cost.
I don't post carelessly.

Realtruth2023:

No Nigerian crude ain't cheap to produce compared to Arabian crude Nigeria's crude is expensive oooo

COMPAQ:

Who told you Nigerian crude is cheap to produce? Its actually quite expensive. Let me tell you 3 things (amongst many that make our oil expensive to produce)

1. NDDC levvy - 3% of oil companies annual budget
2. Host community development Levy - 3% of preceeding year operating expenditure.
3. Insecurity - oil companies pay huge amounts per year to secure producing assets and staff who move in the Niger Delta region.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: When You Are Too Old To Work by gadgetplanetng: 11:28am On Jan 15
If you want income of 1million a month whenever you retire,

N120,000,000 in FGN savings bonds (at 10%) per annum would pay that to you without you ever touching your capital.

Depending on where you live, average returns might be less (maybe 5%? meaning you need double that)

In your maybe 35 active years at work, keep this calculation in mind, if you start early and don't touch your interest till you retire, you won't actually have to save the entire amount.

Don't waste windfalls and surprise money on clubbing, wigs, unnecessary cars, women/men and the like.

You can build your own pension yourself, google it.

If they sell the crude oil to the refinery at a cost plus basis, we would have affordable fuel.

International prices do not take costs into consideration which is why some oil producers, especially the shale and co stop producing below a certain level.

Nigerian crude is cheap to produce.

Edit:
Maximum production cost from this is $40 a barrel.

Family / Re: My Mom Has Made Me Miserable! She Denied Me Happiness by gadgetplanetng: 6:42pm On Dec 30, 2023
You're not a man till you accept responsibility for everything that happens to you.
Your mum is manipulative, if you had let her know long ago you'd do what's best for you not what she manipulates you to this won't have happened.
It's clear you're indecisive.
Your mum did not deny you happiness, change the title to
"I have made myself miserable and denied myself of happiness "

When you can fully make peace with that statement you'd know what to do without seeking the input of strangers

It could be that because the sachet inverter has a lower battery cut off point which seems to give the semblance of a longer lasting battery whereas the battery is been drained low in the process

Actually no.
I tell them to switch it off once it goes to 25.5v running.

Also the the freezer turning on with the older inverter would usually draw the older battery to as low as 21v, it's never happened with this one.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by gadgetplanetng: 4:25pm On Dec 27, 2023
Get a good sachet inverter
I replaced a 1.5kv Schneider Homaya (that has been with Schneider since July) with one and the difference is clear.
Battery lasts longer, less wahala.

bbeckky:
Good morning fam.
Pls I need help from the experts in the house. Few months ago, my inverter (1.2kva) got damaged by thunder. We called the installer and he said the company doesn't have the board available as at then that we should buy sachet inverter pending when they'll have it. But we decided rather than buying a sachet inverter that we shud fix it elsewhere. But ever since we got this new board it has never worked well, if we put on the TV, it'll say overload, we can't do fan and TV concurrently, it'll be screaming overload. We have returned this inverter more than 3times for the guy to fix the issue yet nothing. This last time is even worst, we can't put on ordinary light, it's not powering anything at all. And now Alaba has closed till next year. Pls any idea what we can do because it's really frustrating me

I was trapped by some police women today at mile one, Port Harcourt and they said my proof of ownership and police clearance has to be renewed so I called my FIRS agent to get update and she said;

Police clearance ..... 15k

Road worthiness, MOT and proof of ownership .... 12.5k
Vehicle licence ... 3k

Total... 45.5k

And I was like wdf? Just to renew one car? Its like Tinubu is out to kill us. Please how much is it currently in your state?

Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by gadgetplanetng: 7:23pm On Dec 02, 2023
For almost a year I had an installation with:
200 and 250w Alaba panels together
2 old batteries
old 1.5kv exulted inverter
powmr 60A cc

Powering a 200l Tamashi freezer I bought in 2012 for my parents from 10am to 3/4pm everyday.

I only upgraded the panels, battery and inverter this year.

To my professional in the house, I want to install the below akt solar power floodlight at the 4 corner of my house, to illuminate the compound and surrounding, but am concerned if this is water proof and can withstand sunlight at the long run?

I'd usually use silicone sealant on all edges before mounting these.

Most of these lights imported here aren't the best quality

if a roof was damaged, why didn't you ensure that was taken care of before the installer left ?

and if you choose to overlook it then, no need asking for damages thereafter

The way most people find out roof got damaged is when rain falls

My Dad actually called me this morning to thank me (again) for it
See my review below.
They use it for a 200l thermocool freezer and 90l old westpoint fridge at the same time throughout the day with TV and gotv and it performs better than the Scheider Homaya I got for them previously on all fronts.

Seller also has a video where he powers pressing iron, hot plate and microwave with it.

adebayo3449:

Thanks for you suggestion, is this inverter rugged, I mean to constantly power fridge etc.

gadgetplanetng:
I got this to replace the Schneider homaya I got for my parents that's brought me nothing but grief (It's been with them for weeks (maybe months) now) since February
I was comfortable ordering it as it's Easun (same brand as the 3kw hybrid I use - which I got here too in 2021).
Package came in, it's tiny, probably smaller than my backup Ceepro so I was a bit bothered but it's a beast in a tiny package.

Installed it yesterday for them and they used it overnight on their weak batteries (planning to get 2.4kwh LFP but Valto doesn't have stock)

This is my third (or fourth?) transaction with Iinnov8 - mostly charge controllers/breakers and everything's working well.
