Dosinspector:Tell me any project that was completed by your tin god in his first 4 years and I will tell you the ones completed by Obiano in his 19 months. Most of you are so unreasonable to be comparing a high flying 2 months administration with one that completed 8 years in office As per your personal attacks on the Governor, I just pity you lots. Your tin god, Peter Obi must have known that Obiano is a tout and bla bla bla before campaigning for him to become Governor. Its either he knew that despite being a tout etc he will perform or Peter Obi wanted a tout to succeed him so that the tout will fail and he(Obi) will become a reference point in governance in Anambra State BUT was surprised that the tout is drowning his 8 years achievements in less than 2 years with mega projects |
doctokwus:You are speaking in parables sir . And what has 4 years got to do with this |
We face neither East or West. We face forward.... Kwame Nkrumah The same way I campaigned against Eseli holding Dr. Ngige hostage and stopping him from delivering The same way I campaigned against Ngige distracting Mr. Peter Obi from performing... I am here again shouting, proclaiming and declaring that Chief Peter Obi should leave his boy Willie Obiano to perform and let Anambrarians be the judge. If Wilie is not of God, he will fail even without the unnecessary distractions by Obi. If he is of God, there is nothing a thousand Peters can do |
patrick89:Governor of the year sit up? I asked you, bearing in mind the economic situation in the nation, which Governor is performing better than Obiano and in what area is he found wanting? |
patrick89:And you believe the emboldened because Peter Obi said so? Commonsense demands that you should have asked yourself why your master save did not find it worthy to employ these when his tenure was running or DIDN'T HE KNEW THAT HE TENURE WAS TO EXPIRE IN 2014? I guess he also saved money for all the payment of the Chairmen and Councillors he ushered in towards the end of his tenure? Peter Obi was never elected to save money by anybody. Let him leave Willie to perform abeg! |
patrick89:Paid agent? Well, I am paid by Obiano's dividends of democracy which Obi's hirelings are trying to distract him from providing for Anambrarians so that he will not tower above Obi's image of ''all time best governor of Anambra State" |
patrick89:And you believe the emboldened because Peter Obi said so? Commonsense demands that you should have asked yourself why your master save did not find it worthy to employ these when his tenure was running or DIDN'T HE KNEW THAT HE TENURE WAS TO EXPIRE IN 2014? I guess he also saved money for all the payment of the Chairmen and Councillors he ushered in towards the end of his tenure? Peter Obi was never elected to save money by anybody. Let him leave Willie to perform abeg! |
patrick89:You mean to tell me that the ones won by your principal were fraudulent or never mattered? |
OdenigboAroli:The way he handled the issue? How do you mean? It is beyond argument that Peter Obi almost single-handedly made Willie Obiano governor and that is why Willie has to bear the booby traps set for him to portray him as incompetent for close to 2 years now and was performing in the midst of these landmines: 1. Imagine all those billions he doled out to mission schools, hospitals, and others two days before he left office. 2. N 5 billion to Anambra state university 5 days to leaving office. 3. Engagement of more than 10,000 workers into the state civil service when he never found it necessary to employ even one worker for the 8 years he ruled. 4. Conducting of local government elections at the twilight of his tenure, something not done in his 8 years rule Yet Obiano did not utter a word and was running the state efficiently while ignoring the N75b singsong. Then the cash crunch in the nation started to bite harder and the Obi supporters keep praying for things to get worse for Anambra while they N75b cash singsong continue even drowning the modest achievements being made by the Governor earning him Governor of the year 2015. Yet you expect the governor to keep swallowing the bullcrap even when he was being challenged here and there to deny if it aint true. That is the height of hypocrisy.
|
For those claiming that they are not against Obiano but rather that they want to have him to sit up bla bla bla like patrick89 and others I want to ask you these pertinent questions: 1. Is it true that Willie Obiano started on a very high performance note? 2. At what point did Willie Obiano start derailing? 3. Does the governors debunking of the N75b cash allegedly handed over to him and the claim that all contracts have been fully show he has failed in his duty to provide democracy dividends to Anambrarians? 4. Which serves the interest of the governor or the government better - debunking these half-truths or keeping quiet which would amount to admission 4. On what points and on what dates has the governor, the Governor of the year 2015 (Sunnewspaper) failed in the light of the present economic circumstances in the nation?
|
You expect me to believe that bullcrap? Not when Obi's handover not stated clearly that the only cash handed over was #9b. You may have to meet and reconcile your figures |
cjrane:A million likes bro |
That's my Governor. Sun Newspaper Governor of the year.. Chief Dr. Willie Obiano |
InyinyaAgbaOku:Its not liability as such. These are funds to be expended on ongoing projects. They may not have crystallized at the time of the handover but as work progress and the contractors present their certificates, you are obliged to pay. Everyone in Anambra knows a lot of contracts were ongoing when Peter Obi left thus Willie rode to victory on continuity. He has continued. But for some people to claim today that the Governor was handed billions and that all contracts had been paid for while he has squandered the billions is asking for way too much and the Governor did well to by responding. |
Kingsley1000:Tell me the one initiated and completed by your god within his first 4 years and I will tell you those initiated and completed by Willie within his first 18 months |
InyinyaAgbaOku:The guy wasn't ready to say anything if not for the obvious misinformation going round that he was handed over #75b cash. Which suddenly took a turn for the worse with uninformed folks accusing the Governor of squandering the phantom #75b. |
Some of the achievements of the so called disgrace
|
Cjrane2:Obi is not the main problem. Some of his supporters are. Even when it is clear that the said N75b was not cash, they took to facebook and other social media platforms proclaiming the almighty N75b which Willie Obiano has allegedly squandered and even daring Gov. Willie Obiano to speak upif they were not saying the truth. Then the Gov. stated the true position and added that he also inherited ongoing contract liabilities of N186b and all hell was let loose. All discerning Anambrarians should not also be surprised about the size of the ongoing contract liabilities because we know the frenzy with which contracts were awarded during the 2013 guber campaign (which actually worked in favour of APGA and Willie Obiano) and also towards the end of the last administration. It is left for God to decide Peter Obi's political future in Nigeria. We all pray for the best for him for the general interest of Ndigbo but he must tell call his misguided supporters to order. All these fight at home aint doing his image no good. You cant spend 8 years as governor and then be fighting a 20 months old Governor as if you and him na mate, do you want to contest for governor again? |
I know many Peter Obi's supporters (I am one of his supporters but definitely not one in this because he is wrong) will not be happy with the recent development wherein Gov. Willie Obiano has stated the true position of things as regards what he was handed over in terms of assets and liabilities. They would have rather have only their voices heard in the media (online/offline) to the detriment of our amiable hardworking Governor. But we must hammer it into every ear. Let everybody make his own deduction and decision. Previously it was: 1. He was handed over more than N75b that it why he was able to do small work but now he has squandered the whole N75b Now: 1. We know that the Governor was not working and has never worked with any phantom N75b. Previously it was: 2. Peter Obi paid for all the contracts he awarded. He even paid upfront for the ones to be awarded by Willie Obiano (ridiculous you may say but enter Willie's bus from Awka to Onitsha and I bet you will hear it from a person or two by the time an argument ensues at the bad section of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway between Awkuzu and Umunya) Now: 2. We know that the total liabilities arising from contracts awarded by the previous administration is N186b which the Governor is managing to settle alongside contracts awarded by his own administration. THE DIVIDING LINE 1. All parties are in agreement that Peter Obi left assets but the question is how much and are there liabilities? 2. All parties are in agreement that Peter Obi did a lot of commendable works as Anambra governor just like all commend Ngige for the indelible imprints on our roads but Willie Obiano's giant strides should not be attributed to Peter Obi's phantom N75b or 'fully paid contracts' just like we did not allow Ngige to take the undeserved credit of the UNIZIK Junction pedestrian bridge, which though was initiated by him was constructed by Peter Obi. |
obayaya:The real issues here are: 1. Why were Peter Obi's supporters shouting all over the state that Peter Obi left N75b in cash when they knew he didn't and why shouldn't Gov. Willie Obiano set the records straight knowing fully well that with the recent upsurge in the circulation of the lies on the social media more people will buy into them thereby putting the government in a tight corner? 2. Why shouldn't Gov. Willie Obiano tell Anambrarians the liabilities handed over to him when Peter Obi's acolytes are all over the place claiming that all contracts had been paid for before Peter Obi left the government? NOW HAVE WE REALLY TAKEN STOCK OF THE LIABILITIES (OR LANDMINES) LEFT FOR WILLIE OBIANO BY THE LAST ADMINISTRATION 1. 186b ongoing contracts. 2. Elected Local Government Chairman and Councillors (Something that wasn't there in the last 15 years). 3. More than 10,000 recruited into the state civil service (Again neither former Gov. Peter Obi nor his predecessors carried out any recruitment during their tenure. Yet Peter Obi recruited workers at the end of his tenure and handed them over to Willie Obiano) I strongly believe that Gov. Willie Obiano wouldn't have minded the Peter Obi minions all over the place if not for the fact that his efforts at providing democracy dividends for our people even in the face of the cash crunch presently facing all the states in the Federation is not being appreciated by most people who have bought into the 'phantom N75b cash left' and 'all contracts sum paid' propaganda. In essence, what the propagandists would want us to believe is that whatever good we see today must be attributed by Mr. Peter Obi and any failure we experience must be attributed to Willie Obiano which far from the truth! |
Go ahead. Post more pictures. Willie is working |
Let them keep it up |
dustmalik:Fist Chairman of ICPC is Justice Mustapha Akanbi from Kwara State |
jusRadical:GBAM |
mazeltov:Thanks for saying the truth as it is. No arguments. Willie is working |
SirJeffry:Stop this misleading saved money ish. Peter Obi wad clear in his handover documents that what he handed over to the Governor is assets and shares in Orient Refinery, SABMiller Breweries, Onitsha and Awka 5 star hotels, shopping malls etc. So fo those of you blabbing he was handed over billions I wonder where you got your info |
Congratulations the best Governor. When other Governors are crying, you are here delivering the dividends of democracy. When others are busy trading blames, your works speak for you. When others are owing salaries and borrowing money, you are employing more and paying as and when due. God bless you dear |
Oh I see. There were many soldiers on the Onitsha end as I was coming back from Benin yesterday |
Congratulations my able Governor |
superstar1:And to think that yesterday I ferried two corpers from ur place in the eroded land all the way from Igbariam town to Awka and to their destination. What if I ran over them because the way they were waving me down is against our culture. This hatred must stop. There will always be ur people over here. Hate talks don't do anybody any good |
