UN, March 1. /TASS/. The operation of Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine has no goal of inflicting harm to the local population and Kiev residents can safely leave the capital, Russian envoy to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said.
"We address Kiev residents held by radicals in the city as the human shield. The Russian Defense Ministry confirms that all noncombatants in Kiev can freely leave the Ukrainian capital over the Kiev-Vasilkov route," Nebenzia said. "This destination is open and safe," he noted.
"We reiterate: the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces does not have occupation of Ukraine or inflicting harm to local population as its objective," the Russian envoy said. "Demilitarization of the country stuffed with NATO weaponry is aimed at protecting long-suffering people of Donbass and Ukraine," Nebenzia said.

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The Russian troops destroyed 1,146 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities during their special operation for demilitarizing Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.
"Since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have crippled 1,146 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities, including 31 command and communications centers, 81 S-300, Buk-M1, and Osa surface-to-air missile systems, and also 75 radar stations," the spokesman said.
Operational-tactical aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Force wiped out six armored columns of the Ukrainian armed forces, the general said.
The Russian combat planes "destroyed 311 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 42 aircraft and helicopters (including those on the ground), 51 multiple launch rocket systems, 147 field artillery guns and mortars, and 263 special military motor vehicles," the Defense Ministry spokesman said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address on the morning of February 24 that in response to a request by the heads of the Donbass republics he had made a decision to carry out a special military operation in order to protect people "who have been suffering from abuse and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans of occupying Ukrainian territories and the operation was aimed at demilitarizing and denazifying the country.
When clarifying the unfolding developments, the Russian Defense Ministry reassured that Russian troops are not targeting Ukrainian cities, but are limited to surgically striking and incapacitating Ukrainian military infrastructure. There are no threats whatsoever to the civilian population.

Somethings they don't want you to read

In a statement released on Saturday, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) blamed actions by the US and NATO for having helped to spark the Russian invasion of Ukraine, sparking condemnation from other Democrats.
“DSA reaffirms our call for the US to withdraw from NATO and to end the imperialist expansionism that set the stage for this conflict,” the group said in a press release.
“While the failures of neoliberal order are clear to everyone, the ruling class is trying to build a new world, through a dystopic transition grounded in militarism, imperialism, and war. Socialists have a duty to build an alternative,” DSA added, ending their statement by declaring “no war but class war.”
Condemning “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” and calling for “immediate diplomacy and de-escalation to resolve this crisis,” DSA warned the working classes “will undoubtedly bear the brunt of this war.”
DSA is the largest socialist organization in the United States, with over 92,000 members, including high-profile Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders. With chapters in all 50 states, it has previously endorsed Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and John Kerry, notably choosing not to endorse current President Joe Biden.
The DSA’s position faced immediate condemnation from other Democrats from different wings of the party, who sought to reaffirm their commitment to America’s current alliances.
The DSA’s position faced immediate condemnation from fellow Democrats from the main party, who sought to reaffirm their commitment to America’s current alliances.
The White House Rapid Response Director, Mike Gwin, swiftly responded with a one-word statement, describing DSA's remarks as
"shameful," calling on the group to re-evaluate why it "referred to the deaths of dozens of Ukrainians seeking democracy and basic freedoms in 2014 as a ‘coup’."
Military veteran and current congressional candidate Max Rose stated that he was “deeply concerned” by DSA’s statement, adding that it’s “time to double down on our alliances” and
“punish Russia with crippling and unprecedented sanctions.”
Responding to Rose’s remarks, Tom Suozzi, a Democratic candidate for Governor of New York, declared “I adamantly oppose the DSA's statement calling on the US to leave NATO.”

EU warns Belarus opening door to Russian nukes after vote
Move comes as Belarus faces criticism for allowing Russian forces use its territory as a launchpad to attack Ukraine.

The European Union has warned that Belarus could start hosting Russian nuclear weapons after a “very dangerous” decision at a referendum to drop the country’s non-nuclear status.
“We know what does it mean for Belarus to be nuclear. It means that Russia will put nuclear weapons in Belarus and this is a very dangerous path,” EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Monday.
The move by Belarus came as the country was being condemned internationally for being used as a launchpad by Russian forces to attack neighbouring Ukraine.
Borrell slammed the “fake referendum” on constitutional changes. The amendments allow the country to host nuclear weapons and Russian forces permanently. It also extended the rule of leader Alexander Lukashenko.
About 800 people were reportedly arrested after the vote sparked the biggest protests in months and thousands took to the streets in Belarus.
The vote to change the constitution was passed by 65 percent, according to official data.
Lukashenko has launched a ferocious crackdown on opponents since mass protests erupted after he claimed victory at an election in 2020 called fraudulent by the West.
The Belarusian leader, who has been in power since 1994, has shifted decisively towards Moscow after Russian President Vladimir Putin helped prop up his rule.
EU sanctions on the way
The EU is set to impose a new host of tough sanctions on Belarus as Minsk has facilitated Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine by acting as a staging post for forces involved in the assault.
Western allies fear the constitutional shift from Belarus – which neighbours three EU and NATO countries – could now bring more Russian nuclear weapons closer to their border.
Russia has the world’s largest arsenal of nuclear weapons and a huge cache of ballistic missiles.
Putin ordered his nuclear forces on high alert on Sunday in a move the West said was “totally unacceptable”.
Meanwhile, the United States shuttered its embassy in Minsk and allowed non-emergency employees and family members to depart the embassy in Moscow.
“We took these steps due to security and safety issues stemming from the unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces in Ukraine,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.
A photo posted on Twitter by US Ambassador to Belarus Julie Fisher on Monday showed mission staff lowering the American flag. All American staff have departed Belarus, Fisher tweeted.
The US relocated its embassy operations in Ukraine from the capital Kyiv to the western city of Lviv two weeks ago as Russian forces amassed at Ukraine’s borders.

Russia activates defences to shield $1.5 trillion economy
A slew of economic sanctions has caused the ruble to plummet to a record low.

By Netty Ismail and Jana Randow Bloomberg
The Bank of Russia acted quickly to shield the nation’s $1.5 trillion economy from sweeping sanctions that hit key banks, pushed the ruble to a record low and left President Vladimir Putin unable to access much of his war chest of more than $640 billion.
The central bank more than doubled its key interest rate to 20%, the highest in almost two decades, and imposed some controls on the flow of capital. It was part of a barrage of announcements that eventually restored some calm after a rout that pushed some Russian Eurobonds into distressed territory last week.
“The Bank of Russia will be very flexible in using all necessary instruments,” Governor Elvira Nabiullina said in brief televised remarks in Moscow.
Facing the risk of a bank run, a rapid sell-off in assets and the steepest depreciation in the ruble since 1998, policy makers banned brokers from selling securities held by foreigners starting Monday on the Moscow Exchange. Exporters were ordered to start mandatory hard-currency revenue sales and stock trading was temporarily suspended in Moscow.
“The ruble has ceased to be a freely convertible currency with the sweeping sanctions,” said Friedrich Heinemann, head of the corporate taxation and public finance department at German think thank ZEW. “In terms of currency policy, this throws Russia back to the early 1990s and the time before the country’s comprehensive economic opening.”
Less than a week after Putin ordered his military to invade Ukraine, Russia is at risk of succumbing to the biggest financial crisis of his more than two decades in power. He gathered Nabiullina and other top officials in the Kremlin to discuss plans for a response, calling the U.S. and its allies who joined in the sanctions “the empire of lies.”
The steps taken so far on Monday represent the most forceful measures by Russia after the latest round of sanctions, with the U.S. and the European Union agreeing to block access to much of the $640 billion the country’s central bank has built up as a buffer to protect the economy.
Additional measures taken by global governments to exclude some Russian banks from the SWIFT messaging system could further choke up the country’s banking system. Sanctioned institutions dominate Russia’s financial sector with $1 trillion in assets.
But the U.S. and Europe remain reluctant for now to sanction Russian energy, seeking to insulate the world economy from a greater shock. Germany’s Economy Ministry said on Monday that purchases of Russian gas remain possible using SWIFT even after the latest curbs.
In the absence of even wider trade sanctions that could ensnare Russian energy shipments, the policies implemented so far may be enough to stabilize markets, according to Renaissance Capital. The ruble recouped some losses and was trading nearly 14% weaker at around 96 per dollar as of 4:26 p.m. in Moscow. It was briefly down more than 30% earlier in the day.
“All these measures should limit the depreciation of the ruble,” said Sofya Donets, economist at Renaissance Capital in Moscow. “If the run on FX continues, we would anticipate additional direct restrictions on domestic operations.”
Nabiullina, who took no questions from reporters on Monday, said the central bank didn’t intervene in the currency market on Monday as a result of the limitations on its reserves. It spent $1 billion last Thursday and a smaller amount the following day to shore up the ruble, she said.
“We will make further decisions on monetary policy based on how the actual situation develops while assessing risks primarily in terms of the external conditions,” Nabiullina said.
Decisions to suspend some regulatory requirements amounted to a capital boost for banks by the equivalent of 900 billion rubles ($8.6 billion), she said.
The ruble’s 24% drop so far this year is the worst slump globally, prices compiled by Bloomberg show. At current levels the ruble’s slump is the biggest since 1998, the year the nation’s economy went into a tailspin and the government defaulted on its local debt.
S&P Global Ratings lowered Russia’s credit score below investment grade on Friday, while Moody’s Investors Service — which rates Russia one notch above junk — put the nation on review for a downgrade.
Policy makers are counting that the steep rate hike, alongside the mandatory conversion of export revenues and a halt to outflows from the financial market, will help restore confidence and minimize losses at home even as war continues to rage across the border.
“This is merely a reaction by the central bank to the fact that sanctions have weakened, completely neutralized their defense arsenal that they’ve built up in the past five to 10 years,” said Simon Harvey, head of FX analysis at Monex Europe Ltd. “It’s unprecedented escalation and markets are very poorly positioned for it.”
Russians were already lining up at cash machines around the country as demand for foreign currency soared. The central bank has said it was increasing supplies to ATMs to meet need and issued another statement Sunday vowing to provide banks “uninterrupted” supplies of rubles.
Most of Europe has closed its airspace to Russian carriers, which could make it difficult to physically transport cash into the country.
“I think rubles will be plenty, the question is FX,” said Viktor Szabo, an investor at Aberdeen Asset Management Plc. in London. “With reserves partially blocked, the central bank will have to prioritize, and I guess population will not be on top of the list.”
Oil and gas revenue remains a lifeline as the sale and transport of energy have largely escaped disruptions. At current prices, Russia was running a monthly current-account surplus of about $20 billion.
Still, damage to the economy will be severe from the combination of wild swings in the exchange rate and the soaring cost of money. Bloomberg Economics was already predicting a contraction in the first and second quarter even before the weekend’s sanctions and now sees the risk of an even “deeper downturn.”
Renaissance Capital said it now expects a recession this year, compared to a forecast of 3% growth expected as recently as last week.
The continued flow of oil will likely provide some relief, given the World Bank calculates commodities account for almost 70% of goods exports. About 43% of the country’s crude and condensate output is sold abroad.
If crude prices stay around $90 this year, the country’s budget could get more than $65 billion in extra revenue, adding to the Kremlin’s financial strength, economists said recently. Oil at $100 would boost the windfall closer to $73 billion.
In Russia, memories linger of hyperinflation that peaked at more than 2,500 percent in 1992 and wiped out savings in the wake of the Soviet collapse. Price growth is already running at more than double the central bank’s target, despite a series of rate hikes since last March.
Renaissance Capital estimates the suspension of operations with non-residents alone could prevent $50 billion in possible capital outflows in the coming weeks. The freeze on such transactions may stay in place for long, according to RenCap’s Donets.
“These measures may help calm down the increased market nervousness, but at the same time they undermine the foundation of monetary policy, which is focused on inflation targeting and a flexible exchange rate,” said Natalia Lavrova, chief economist at BCS Financial Group in Moscow. “We do not rule out a possible rate hike going forward or further unexpected and non-market decisions.”

Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has entered its fifth day. Russian troops are driving deeper into the country having
attacked Ukraine from three directions: its northern border with Belarus, the eastern frontier with Russia, and in the south from Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula Moscow annexed in 2014.
Monday February 28
Ukrainian troops successfully defended
Kyiv after a Russian attack overnight on Sunday that saw columns of Russian troops repeatedly tried to storm the city, according to the Ukrainian military commander leading the defence of the capital city.
The Ukrainian military said Russian troops continued to attack airports, air defence systems, critical infrastructure and residential areas around the country, launching missile strikes on buildings in cities of Zhytomyr and Chernihiv .
Russia’s military claimed it had captured the cities of Berdyansk and Enerhodar and the “territory around” a nuclear power plant in Zaporizhiya in the country’s south-east. It also said it had taken control of Ukraine’s airspace.
Russian and Ukrainian military claims cannot be independently verified.

The western media are dishing out propaganda news on the conflict and claiming Russian media putting out propaganda news and then got them banned!

Why not let the viewers have a balanced report and make a choice?

Just imagine Ukraine claims they already killed 4,500 Russian soldiers and they Ukraine lost less than 400!!. Who dey lie.

I am more pro West but don't accept what is morally wrong Even via propaganda.

As per the conflict in Ukraine.

In reality, they're only slowing down Russian advance with their military using banned phosphorus to fight the Russians.

The Truth will be out before Friday.

Some people tend to follow the western narratives which are made up majorly of lies.

You don't like me and kept bringing weapons, soldiers and your allies close to my borders?

Did US agree to Russia bringing weapons and soldiers to Cuba, Venezuela, Canada or mexico

Will the UK appreciate Russia forming an alliance with Argentina which UK too Falkland islands from and a war was fought over it?

Will Turkey appreciate or accept Russia deploying troops and equipment to Cyprus border with Turkish Cyprus?

If the answer is NO why do you do so to Russia and rubbish her written security proposal?

About France, if it not the same France that deployed weapons and soldiers to Cameroon side during the bakassi peninsula military clashes? Some of their soldiers even fought on the Cameroonian side during the clashes and called and threatened Nigeria diplomats with Nuclear weapons back then?

Most people on NL were either not born then or were too young to understand what went on and What's going on now!

Most of these countries want to dominate the World so far it favor them and don't give a f..k about what others want.

Ukraine should be neutral and stop being Pro West and let Russia and US + Nato drag their Matter for as long as they want

It would be US ‘golden dream’ to have nuclear weapons in Ukraine — diplomat
Maria Zakharova recalled that Italy and many other countries possess the US nuclear weapons but do not have access to them
MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the emergence of nuclear weapons in Ukraine would be a "golden dream" for Washington.
"The US deployed its nuclear weapons on the territory of European countries. It’s not France and the UK that have their own nuclear weapons. This is Italy and many other countries that possess the US nuclear weapons but they do not have access to them. The US controls them there. It was a golden dream that it would appear in Ukraine," she said in an interview with Vladimir Solovyov on the Rossiya-1 television channel.
According to Zakharova, this "unbridled and absolutely uncontrolled conduct of the Anglo-Saxon pseudo gurus" will cover not only Russia, but also everyone who will somehow "get in their way". "They didn’t believe us then. That was ten years ago. China is now facing this on all fronts," Zakharova concluded.

Russian ex-official: Putin’s plan is full victory on March 2
Former Russian deputy foreign minister Fedorov says the first days of March are important in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

By Al Jazeera Staff
Andrei Fedorov, former deputy Russian foreign minister, has told Al Jazeera the next few days are key in Russia’s
invasion of Ukraine as President Vladimir Putin’s initial order was to “complete the military operation with a victory by March 2”.
Fedorov said on Sunday he was hopeful of announced talks between the two countries as Moscow continues its full-scale assault on its neighbour.
“There should be talks going on without preconditions. I know the position of my friends in Kyiv and the leadership of Ukraine. They’re ready to sit and to talk, but without precondition,” he said.
Ukraine and Russia have agreed to hold talks at a venue near the Belarusian border, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said earlier in the day.
The talks, the first announced since Russia unleashed a full-scale invasion of Ukraine last week, would be held without preconditions and are the result of a phone call between Zelenskyy and his Belarusian counterpart, the Ukrainian leader said.
Tough resistance
Fedorov also said the resistance in Ukraine and sanctions put in place by the West have been stronger than what Russia predicted before the violence started.
“As I said once … please, because I know Ukraine, no one will meet Russian troops with flowers. This is a reality,” he told Al Jazeera.
On the sanctions, the former deputy minister said: “They always think that, OK … we are a big country, we are a great country. We are supplying you with gas and oil. You will never use sanctions … such sanctions again. This is reality for today and it’s caused a lot of problems over here now.”
Ukraine’s Western allies have slapped unprecedented sanctions in response to Russia’s land, sea and air invasion.
“For the first time ever, the European Union will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and other equipment to a country that is under attack,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Sunday.
She said the EU would close its airspace to Russian aircraft, including the private jets of Russian oligarchs.
The bloc will ban Russian state-owned television network Russia Today and news agency Sputnik. Von der Leyen said this was to render them unable to “spread their lies to justify Putin’s war and to sow division in our Union”.

Kyiv’s Mayor: ‘We are encircled’ and on the edge of ‘humanitarian catastrophe’
Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitscho has said that the city is encircled by Russian troops.
In an interview with the Associated Press , Mr Klitscho said he was not able to evacuate civilians from the city because “all ways are blocked”.
“Right now we are encircled,” he said.
The mayor said that nine civilians have been killed in Kyiv so far, including one child.
He added that Russian “saboteurs” are in the city, saying: “We are hunting these people, and it will be much easier if nobody is on the street.”
Referring to the city’s stocks of food and medicine, Mr Klitscho said: “We are at the border of a humanitarian catastrophe. Right now, we have electricity, right now we have water and heating in our houses. But the infrastructure is destroyed to deliver the food and medication.”
Foreign AffairsRe: Ukrainian Troops Destroy Russian Convoy Of Tanks by gamechanger547:
DONETSK, February 27. /TASS/. The Donetsk People’s Militia has taken 17 Donbass communities, previously controlled by the Ukrainian army, the militia’s deputy chief, Eduard Basurin, said on Sunday.
"As of February 27, 2022, the DPR People's Militia liberated seventeen communities that had been previously under the control of the Ukrainian army: Pavlopol, Pishchevik, Viktorovka, Bogdanovka, Novognatovka, Nikolaevka, Rybinsk, Trudovskoye, Vasilievka, Prokhorovka, Starognatovka, Svobodnoye, Donskoye, Anadol, Andreyevka, Gnutovo and Granitnoye," he stated.
Basurin said that the DPR militia continued to liberate the Donetsk Region. It has just put under control the communities of Dmitrovka, Svobodnoye, Donskoye and Anadol.
"Our forces continue the operation to liberate the villages of Bugas, Kamenka and Volnovakha. Also, they take the necessary measures to ensure security and provide assistance to the civilian population. My message to the Ukrainian soldiers is this! Do remain human. You still have a chance to save your lives and get back to your families, if you voluntarily refuse to obey the criminal orders from your commanders and give up participation in hostilities," Basurin said.

The west and Ukraine have blocked all Media houses which narratives and outcome of the war are different from theirs but I still check BBC, CNN, DN, Al Jazeera to mention a few that are pro west and Ukraine, while I also check Tass and RT which are pro Russian. I also check that of India etc.

Cross-checking news gives one more insight rather than sticking to one sides updates because there are so many propaganda fake news on the conflict.

Imagine Ukraine claiming it killed 4,500 Russian Soldiers and lost 200 soldiers and civilians! whereas their hospitals are flooded with wounded soldiers and almost out of oxygen.

As per what I picked from all these updates is like the main Russian attack is yet start as Russian Soldiers are just probing Ukraine defenses.

Imagine 60,000 to 80,000 Russian Soldiers fighting 230,000 regular Ukraine soldiers + 400,000 reservist + armed civilians + volunteers.

the remaining Russian Soldiers 80,000 or a little higher are still at the border waiting to join the fight with more destructive weapons while the Ukrainian military are already using banned phosphorus filled in shells and rockets against the Russians..

Russian Tos 1 are yet to be deployed to the front line.
Foreign AffairsRe: Belarus 'To Join Ukraine ilInvasion' And Preparing For Air Assault On Kyiv by gamechanger547: 8:41pm On Feb 27, 2022
The war in Ukraine is still unfolding and the situation is fast changing. Four days into the invasion, Russia has yet to take control of the capital city Kyiv.
Back in 2003, it took US-led forces more than three weeks following the invasion to ensure the fall of Baghdad.
As people in Baghdad painfully move on from their war memories, some predict even if Russia could take Kyiv, what follows the capture, or even the regime change, would be more defining than the battle for Ukraine itself.
“Did you see what happened after Baghdad fell?” Samer al-Idreesi asked.
“It was pure chaos: insurgents started to appear everywhere,” he added, referring to the conflict following the removal of Saddam and the armed groups still threatening Iraq’s security.
The battles following the invasion were in some way more brutal than the ones fought during it. Rebel groups sprung up across the country, either in opposition to American forces or with the intent to exploit the vacuum left by a lack of central governance.
“No one knows what could happen in Ukraine. Maybe there will be insurgents and maybe there will be more bloodshed, or maybe it will end soon with a peace talk,” al-Idreesi said.
“But I really hope the suffering that we experienced as Iraqis would not be repeated in Ukraine.”
SOURCE: AL JAZEERA

Going through the above, several other reports and facts, the below came to mind

It took United States and her allies 3 weeks to capture Baghdad with 177,194 troops with so much devastation and this is day 4 of Russian invasion of Ukraine. ( Iraq is far weaker than Ukraine)

Bottom line, peace is better than war and Ukraine should make peace and stop all these propaganda of inflicting huge losses on the Russians

They should grab every opportunity for peace as the Russians might be trying to get civilians out of the cities they're targeting and then release fire and brimstone on them to disseminate the Ukrainian military once and for all.

Peace is better than war and the cost of Ukraine Russian war is getting higher as the world largest cargo plane (Military Antonov) has been destroy few hours ago in Russia missile strike and the manufacturer said it will cost 3 billion dollars to repair it!. What about other facilities and structures that are being destroyed?..

Russia and Ukraine do need to end this conflict so as to prevent heavy Civilian casualties and large scale destruction of Ukraine infrastructures and also prevent the manifestation of US and UK estimate that 25,000 Ukrainian soldiers and 50,000 civilians will die in this war.

Ukraine and western propaganda...

Imagine

Ukraine said they have killed over 3,500 Russian soldiers and only lost 168 which consist of soldiers and civilians!!!!

By Monday the truth will be out ..

I like Ukraine as well as Russia and even US+Nato but Ukraine bleeped up by picking side and not being neutral.

Why overthrow a sitting President who meant well for you and then be killing your Russian speaking population and also banned Russian language from been spoken or thought in schools etc?

Ukraine is a powerful Country even without Nato and she got US, UK, France, Poland, Canada, Australia, Germany etc training and weapons for 8 years just to fight Russia and now is the deciding war.

US and Nato are helping Ukraine with real time satellite imagery and information about Russian soldiers movement and also getting help with NATO strategies and war room instructions while Russia is fighting with it's own weapons and strategies as well as CSTO game plan.

Let see who win as Russia have been avoiding attacking Civilians and civilian facilities from day one and the ones hit are due to errors or missile failure.

Ukraine has to go for peace with Russia and be neutral even if they don't like Russia.
CrimeRe: K.K And Eiye In Osun State 11 Dead In 12 Hours - PHOTOS by gamechanger547:
As per my finding....

Kk have been in the west since the late 90s but went low key after they made a statement that they're in the west to take the number 1 spot and that Eiye was their target.

They declared war on Eiye and attacked them but Eiye retaliated and defeated them way back then. Kk went under then( iree poly is one example Year 98 - 2000).

Afterwards Kk tried harassing Aye in another institution and Aye top men who were friends with some Eiye men even though they fight a lot in that institution, they do drink and smoke together during peace times

Eiye carry they matter for head and went out beating Kk members all over the place and KK went under ground in that institution also but they were recruiting people that other Confraternities won't recruit.

KK came back some years ago in ketu Lagos were they went to war with Eiye and 2 of the KKs got killed.

Then few years later, an Eiye guy and a KK member had an argument and the KK guy was said to have stabbed the Eiye guy to death and Other Eiye men declared war on KK and 5 or 6 KK members were killed.

They KK went under ground again till they killed that Eiye guy at the fast food joint( As per Nigerian view)

Now the Ilesa in Osun fight.

If you follow the news you will know that State have always been a hot zone for Aye and Eiye fights where hits and reprisals go on back to back even during daylight.

It got out of hand in Osogbo that the police have to arrest Eiye hits squads which were carrying out hits on Aye day and night and the fight died a natural death after the arrest by the police.( Aye instigated the war by killing an Eiye guy at the stadium over claims that he failed to great their top man). - Lots of people died on both sides day and night.

As per the Ilesa clash, it was instigated by KK killing an Eiye guy called China( Punch news and other media reported the clash then)

Both parties know each other and KK brought their members from outside the town to attack Eiye by going to where Eiye members were on bike and started shooting while Eiye members came out to confront them and all hell broke loose and the war was talking to each other strongholds.

Me was thinking it's Aye vrs Eiye fight till I saw that it's KK vrs Eiye fight on Nairaland...

Cultism is bad but some people tend to know so when it's late.

Some people won't tell you the truth until you discover it yourself and it may be too late.

Most Daily news papers carry the news but the names of the groups fighting were not mentioned, while one in piggin English said Aye and Eiye but this tread said KK and Eiye..

With the last paragraph you made you got to remember there was once a time fraternities actually co-existed and wasn’t clashing up and down.
So now seeing all of this I’m not surprised

so ayes dropped 1 eiye and eiyes dropped 2 ayes?

I still stand with my post a month back. You're an eiye apologist, and I see through your deceptive means of promoting them here
Mr aye apologist, the truth is always bitter.

I can see that you are always coming out of your Hamlet when you hear the truth!!

If it's the other way around, I believe you go dey smile.

How will I promote something which stated killing of people over flimsy excuses?

Your comments have always shown that you're an aye apologist to the extreme.

Anyway, I don't have anything against aye as I don't also have anything against Eiye, Vickings, buccaneers, mafia, Kk, Jurist, maphites etc as not everyone of them are wicked.

The bad/wicked ones only need to change and move on to better things rather than killings.

Anyone wey like make him continue to dey carry fight up and down but make him no cry when he see say people don leave am behind go dey do better things.

Eiye claw they bend their thumb Vikings don’t bend their thumb.

Even though you see some birds claw the same way Vikings kiss it’s actual a mistake.
That's why I said Eiye and Vickings clawing lookalike at about 90%.

They even lay hands on their chest in almost similar way and still claw in the air in almost similar ways

The above was why 3 people got killed off campus of a University in Edo State several years ago.

Cultism no be good thing O!

Let me drop this story quickly*

Aye and Vickings had a serious beef and Aye decided to strike on campus.

So the hit squad went around looking for Vickings members but couldn't find any and as such they walked towards the gate and saw a guy who placed his hand on his chest as some frat members do as sign/symbol.

They immediately went for him, shot him ,brought him down and left.

Few hours later, 2 Ayes were brought down by Birds outside the school!!!

Ayes were like why?? They don't have any beef/war with birds at that time!!! But after confirmed info got in, they discovered that the guy they dropped at the gate was a bird not Vickings.

Both frats had to settle afterwards but 3 guys had gone down already for nothing.

As they said; Nobody knew if the Vickings got the info of the coming hit and left campus then.

Anyway, back to the claw thing.

Do you know that even several OG birds do claw with straight thumbs just as Vickings do but the words said, colour of beret, dress code, colour of socks etc differentiate both frats easier but it not easy to identify if people only look at the claw thing: They will most likely mistake one for the other. ( AY clawing is a recent example, while that of Wizkid is an old one).

Most people, even some frat guys can't different and as such argue/claim that they belong to their group due to the claw thing.( One of them even bring more argument by using a specific colour of beret sometimes, same way pastoranking... Beret colour bring argument.

Anyway let say No To Cultism as there is nothing profitable in it.

Even many guys who belong to different frats especially the 2 rivals that mostly clash, are now working together to make serious legit money( Eg. Celebrities). How will they have made money together if they have killed each other?

People should reason the above.

Good Night.

If it was someone I don't know too well, I'd have bought your idea but nah.. this guy no be gay..

He actually clawed and used his fingers to scratch my palm while still clawing..

Another thing is that I was on white and black that day with black facecap.

Could it mean something.
I Know for decades that scratching someone's palm is an old coded way of secretly asking a female out and also asking for sex/showing affection.

Anyway I don't know of any frat who greet like that but I do believe that it's an individual thing.( I may be wrong as new frats and societies are just springing up everywhere).

Well Eiye has different claws and one of them is sideway due to the brutal nature of Eiye I think he’s talking about Eiye

Alora though also claw before anchor too.
Nah/No G.

The way he described the handshake, it's not Eiye, Alora or Vickings! The 3 frats aforementioned do claw but in different ways, even though that of Eiye and Vickings are 90% similar.

( If you no open your eyes well, you will mistake Eiye for Vickings and Vickings for Eiye: what will help you out are their beret, socks, words used during greetings/clawing and dress code).

The guy he met is either gay or just showing affection towards him.

As per your description, that guy is gay! shocked

As per the old times, it's a way men give signs to females to let them know they like them and want to go down with them without people around knowing.

However since its a guy to another guy, the guy must be gay or just trying to let you know that he likes you.

No matter what, just fear and protect your yansh O!!!! grin

Some drop confirm gist while some who didn't get the right info or who knows but feels threatened by it will always want to disprove it.

Their initiation is wicked and deadly as it's said that some die, Several get fractures, bruises etc.
