BafanaBafana: I have been wondering, why people support someone like Atiku? If Atiku had emerged APC flagbearer in 2015 to contest against Jonathan, I would have sat at home instead of going out to vote, even though I wanted Jonathan out. I wonder why people support Atiku when everything written about Atiku is about his criminality. Everybody who has ever worked with him knows he is a criminal. He has been tested with power before and he stole so much that his boss vowed to never forgive him. How can someone support Atiku who is hiding from the US federal police and his accomplice in a crime has been sent to jail. You know, and I know and even Atiku knows that we can not trust him with our resources. Why the hell will any Nigerian support such a person. I can see a group of mad people has been let loose into the street |

Legend007: The problem is that you guys don't understand how the system works, or you do and just arguing blindly.
She is not going to collate votes in the wards, local government areas or states level where collation really maters.
She is managing the national collation center which is just going to announce what has already been declared in the states.
And even at that, she is not going to be in charge of that national announcement, INEC chairman is. Her job is just to provide logistics for the smooth running of the national collation center. My friend she has no business there even as a cleaner, for her close relationship with the president, there's a conflict of interest there, it is a wrong decision, that can set this country on fire |

INEC from your constant attack on PDP it is very obvious you're no longer fit to be the umpire for this elections, Just a span of 24hrs you have had Two press release attacking PDP.
PDP are within the there rights to contests some of your actions, barely a month to elections are you have decided to change the rules initially you mentioned there will be no incident form, you have now brought it back, Amina was employed out of operations and INEC confirmed they will not give in but still you brought her to count PMB votes at the collation center.
INEC we are watching you closely. |

nairavsdollars: Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday said it will not allow the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) dictate to it how it will conduct the 2019 general elections.
Speaking in a chat with INDEPENDENT, Rotimi Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to the INEC Chairman also warned the PDP to desist from its personal attacks on one of its National Commissioners, Mrs Amina Zakari.
“What is this crazy phobia about Amina Zakari? Why is one political party paranoid about this woman? There are 12 National Commissioners in INEC, why are they singling her out always? We are not going to allow one political party to dictate to us how to manage our affairs.
“If they have any problem with Amina Zakari, they should let us know. She was appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan under the PDP government. She was not appointed under the present dispensation. Throughout the time she was there under Jega, this same PDP did not see anything wrong with her. Every national commissioner is entitled to having a renewed term and her term was renewed.
“This woman has a family, children and yet people are just attacking her for nothing. What did she do? Would they be happy if anybody is doing this to their wives?
“The way INEC is structured, not even the INEC chairman can rig the election in favour of any political party or any candidate in this country today.
“He is incapable of doing so because the system will not allow it. So, if the INEC Chairman cannot rig, where is the national commissioner that wants to rig?” https://www.independent.ng/pdp-cannot-dictate-to-us-how-to-conduct-elections-inec-speaks-on-amina-zakari/ My friend keep quiet, PDP has told you why she shouldn't be there but, do you understand what they call conflict of interest I believe you don't have that's the more reason she ought not to be in that position. So what happened in Osun elections if one man can't not rig an election, INEC continue we are all in this Nigeria since you guys plans is to set this country on fire it will consume everyone of you families because you have refused to heed the voice of wisdom and and thrown caution to the air. |

What is the work of the committee for collation of Presidential elections? Nothing...
It is just a ceremonial committee, whose only work to collate results which by the way would be announced in the respective states by the STATE Resident Commissioners before journeying to Abuja to announce the same result.....
Like we Observed in 2015, only the state Electoral commissioners had the powers to announce the results....
Cable, Punch, Thisday, Vanguard, Tribune and New Telegraph together with their paymaster PDP will be all put to shame next month Insha Allahu.. You guys really amaze me, sometimes your response dey tire me, we know she shouldn't be there because of her closeness to the president, Its totally wrong but God get power pass all of them |
