The freedom to associate and gather peacefully is a human right, it is democratic and a judge making this statement is touting with people's rights

The court ruling was specifically against holding the rally not against Wike visiting Bayelsa State. He is free to visit if he chooses; no one is stopping him. However, what has been prohibited is any political gathering.

When Governor Ododo of Kogi even stopped a vehicle convoy due to Natasha’s activities, many remained silent. Governor Diri simply doesn’t want any of that Wike-style drama in Bayelsa. Wike can continue his thanksgiving ceremonies in Rivers State unless he's suddenly tired of them.

He seems to think this is Rivers State, but he's underestimating the stability of the Niger Delta. If he continues down this path, Tinubu may have no choice but to declare a state of emergency across all ND states. Wike could lead him to political turmoil. The rally will not hold—he's the FCT Minister, and he can organize as many rallies as he wants in Abuja.
