It was not. There is no fuse on your vehicle specified for temperature gauge on instrument cluster..

Hi i own a kia enterprise ceo 98 model a mazda sentia derivative, built for s.korean market. Luxurious reliable n fun plus its a rear wheel drive with a v6. All great until i traveled n was away for about 2yrs serviced b4 i did. Upon returning i found out d key was missing called d key guy n he dis me a new one but the car refused to start and i noticed the key had no transponder i confronted him he told me the car has no transponder receiver and as a result no immobiliser, he advice i get a rewire n mechanic which i did and i have the fuel pump, ignition coil, nozzles and all but the engine wont crank. It only rolls and wont start, the rewire had me agree to work a different ecu which he and still no go please i need your help because my mechanic said the nozzles dont supply fuel. I need your help because am frustrated.

first you need to run the vin, post the vin and possibly siena could help tell you if it has an immobilizer or not, I'm guessing it has.

I noticed that the engine short oil between service interval.... am using a mobile 1 5W30 full syn oil grade... no smoke... no visible leak ... oil is changed at every 3000km... far less than what is obtainable I guess.. odo is 138000 plus...

what a waste. Try switching to 0w-40 and see if you can get more mileage out of it (5,000miles) if not just stick to 20w50 mineral with 3000km interval change

with 800k you might not get a very clean nigerian used corrola unless the owner is a relation or desperate it is the fastest selling car in nigeria at the moment.

Please I noticed the coolant on my car reservoir is bellow MIN. I did the few mins running of engine you suggested sometime ago yet it's still under the MIN.
Can I top the coolant with another one or will I have to do drain of the old one?
It's the coolant that came with the car.
It's a Honda Accord 1998 i4

Top with water for now.
On the long run, you should try to find the leak. Coolant shouldn't go low.

My mechanic has twice worked on it with car glue yet I noticed it again this morning.

Replace the entire distributor.

Gazzuzz [b]I've got a creamy mixture under my oil cap [/b]but none on the dip stick, it all started on the 24th when I topped the oil with a different grade and added some Seafoam treatment before taking her for a drive... could my different grade mix + Seafoam produce water droplets..??

Signs of a burnt head gasket.

Check radiator cam for oily mix like sludge.

Could be a simple misfire, have you scanned?

Check all spark plugs replace as a set if necessary.

A scan would lead you in the right direction.

There's nothing wrong with your compressor.

The idle speed valve is not allowing enough air in the intake to compensate for the extra load when the a.c is turned on. Clean the valve and ensure it moves freely by hand before re-installing.

Would have sent you pics of how to do it but I'm not in the workshop now.
