Finally decided to scan my car today. I bought it on good friday being april 15th. It is an acura tsx 2008. I had a check engine light on and it worried me being a first time owner. I also noticed a slight high fuel consumption and My younger brother observed same too cause I left the car in his care while registering it and trying to get my driving license.
I actually bought an Xtool Ad10 scanner yesterday. Scanned it some mins ago. Got three error codes. I cleared the error codes and scanned again. Two codes remained.
So guys help me out.

I need help… whilst on the motion this morning, my car suddenly stop selecting gear(R, N, D)
My 2008 Lexus ES350 won’t move.
It doesn’t matter if I put it in drive, neutral or reverse.
The engine revs up in each gear..���

I switch off the ignition and ON it back to move(D) for some minutes which it will jerk forward , vibrates too then stop selecting and the engine revs.

I NEED HELP!!!!!

The Rewire said its nothing much to worried about as long as i can ignore the check engine light

My 2000 camry shows P0401.
In the morning when I scan it shows no code, but when I drive around for 20 mins it throws the code. I have changed the following, EGR and the modulator, but still same.

I was expecting you to talk more on the new increase on duty ...... To clear any car now from 2005 upwards u will pay at least 1m .......

Many car dealers will be out of business .. Car business is already dead , but with new duty that government has enforced just buried it.......


Curious to see how dealers will survive.... I might be closing shop soon

Well when it comes to things like sensors . I will advice brand new ones .

Early this year I shipped 2 a/c compressor for my customers.

But this is my advice and it is up to the customer to decide


Ps. I will loading up a tokunbo Sienna soon 2008 model.... If u have any customers needing 1 let me know ..

My brother getting parts in the market now is a 50/50 chance..... It will be better for him to wait and get it from the USA.. It will help him to save money in the long run .... The increase on duties has made things unreliable to get good parts ..... And I never advice to get use sensors

But you ship in used cars?

However, you could have given OP the option of getting a new sensor locally instead of waiting 2 weeks for you to load and wait for your container to berth and clear.

Good morning car gurus,

I scanned my Toyota Corolla 2010 about two weeks ago ago after the engine light came up and the following codes came up.
1) P0138
2) P0607
The codes were cleared but they came back after about a week.

Please what steps should I take to resolve the situation.

The abnormally I noticed today was that the car temperature got to the half way mark, while ac was on and in heavy traffic, I got home, scanned and got these error codes.

I will recommend u try Mobil 1 5w40 and see how much it burns .....if u do decide to use 20w50 keep in mind u will need to change oil every 5k miles to prevent sludge engine...........


So u do the math ... Mobil 1 5w40 or any well known brand from the USA or 20w50 with frequent oil change every 5k miles......


It is matter of choosing your poison ... Coz even u use 5w40 u might still oil burn , but not as bad as 5w30 ... Or use 20w50 and still burn oil, but not as bad as 5w40 .. But still change oil often every 5k miles to prevent sludge engine

Or he can use the 15w50

Recently I was was looking for connecting rod bearings for a 2009 biturbo V8 diesel ML420 that had the OM629 Engine

I shit you not, I almost paid for this at the quoted price (Check pics) excluding shipping , and I needed a minimum of 2 pairs of bearings. Spent weeks searching and didn't find it anywhere in West Africa.

Finally a guy sold 6 pairs to me at ₦33k he had been keeping them for almost 3years in a bag in his shop.

Point is demand for these cars if kept well is not just local, it's International it's cheaper to ship a car out of Nigeria than Into Nigeria

Having issue with my Kia Sorento EX 2005 model, for about 3weeks now. I don't know if anyone can help here.
The problem is once I start the car and drive it for like 2 or 3 kilometers, then it won't accelerate again and it will be making sound like 'pup pup pup' I have to wait till it cold before it can move again and once it hot the same thing will start.

Along the line, we have changed the crane saft sensor, changed the fuel pump, changed nosstle and plug. Changed the coil. The problem still there. Pls help.
