kazeems will swear heaven and earth just to get there profit. Those guys make massive profit with manual compressor, reason why they fully advice it..... in the mean time, take that car to the mechanic and remove that nonsense time bomb they put there. Your engine should be more precious to you than anything.....

Good day lovely people of this beautiful forum.
Pls I need una assistance with my car. It all started that whenever I start driving the car for the first 20-30mins if I don't rev the car high to like above 3000 the car will be jerking gently kind of, and if I check the rev meter too it will see the needle going up and down small small, but after driving for a while it will stop and the car will move very well. Since this is not a major issue I kept using it that way till I will have time to visit the mech not until few days ago that while I was going back him in the night the car stops accelerating, like I press the throttle but it will not respond all I am hearing is a clicking sound under the carpet of the seat beside the driver in front. Once i press acceleration and the car want to respond I will just hear the click sound and the car will not respond to me again, then I off the engine and light then start it again this time the acceleration just respond a little above the 1000 rev on the meter then the car start to move small small till I got home that night. The following morning the car drives like nothing happened to it the previous night but I took it to my mech who said I should go and scan it, which I did and the person said something that one wire has cut somewhere or something and he fix it the check engine light on the dashboard went off and the car temp meter that doesn't work before start to work. Also the fan start to work in auto mode because before when I on the engine the fan will start immediately, but now the fan might not start for the first 30-1hr of driving and when it start it will be working in low speed (don't know if it is normal )though no overheating .
Now the problem is I am not sure what he fix is what is affecting the gear problem and the issues I face the other night while going home. And I don't want it to happen like that again before I fix the issue permanently which is why I want to seek the opinion of car gurus on this platform. Thanks in anticipation for your input.
Also I use to hear like a thud sound whenever I engage D or R

I don't know if this is right but finally disabled my TPMS light from the cluster, now have a clean instrument cluster.

It happened that for close to a year, I have been driving around (camry 09) with tpms light on my dashboard, bought two sensors from Gazzuzz but due to technical difficulties (no high tech scanner in my location) error light still remained unclear, until recently when I stumbled on a write up online which I was able to bypass the tpms ecu.

The feeling of driving around without any warning light on the dashboard

The speedometer of my lexus es350 2007 suddenly stopped working like that.

I noticed it after:

My mechanic fixed my washer fluid issue and replaced my headlamps.

I also reset the "oil maintenance required" error with a tutorial from YouTube (after routine maintenance was done)

Could this be why? If not, what are the possible causes of speedometer not working and possibly how much would it cost to repair or replace?

Other sections of my dashboard are working fine btw.

Other professors in the house, your opinions are needed please.

Good morning house, i own a Lexus es350 2009, i was having a rough shift, so i took the car to my mechanic, and i explained to him the symptoms, without doing his proper checks, he told me i had to change the transmission control module(TCU) which is not even pocket friendly at all, i managed to purchase it, tokunbo. not until i test drive again and the fault is still there, it was a gear master that checked the car and told me i need to change the solenoids, which i did, and the faults where gone, now I'm left with an unused TCU. Please if anybody needs this, I'm selling cheap.

Oga gazzuzz, 2011 rav4 seems not to get into overdrive. RPM is too high on high speeds. Does 3000rpm at 100km/h and 4000rpm at 130km/h

I feel those rpm are too high resulting in very high fuel consumption. Gear shifts very smooth though.

Please what could cause this

My engine nor dey smoke o! Just the noise hear from it and also the mechanic said I should just change the top cylinder. And he will also open my engine and check if any part needs to be changed. Please is it necessary to buy a new engine, what are the cons of what my mechanic said.

Greetings everyone. My vehicle (Peugeot 406) have some AC issues. When the AC is on, only the air vents on the passenger side will be chilling while the 2 air vents on the driver's side are not.
What could be the problem and how can it be resolved? I have visited several AC technicians and they seem clueless about the issue.

@Gazzuzz and other auto gurus My Camry 03 engine makes an unpleasant noise and when I accelerate it increases. It doesn’t accelerate well also and trips off especially when I want to climb a hill. Please what could be the problem.

The engine doesn’t smoke though.

Hello My Oga's in the house, I changed my radiator a few months ago and decided to drive with just water, I want to use coolant now, aside the premix coolant, which are kind of expensive, can I use Total coolant. Its the green colored type and the car is 2005 toyota camry v6.

The only thing I want to say is, if you have to replace the transmission, do not listen to anyone who tells you they can repair it. It's going to be really tempting. They will tell you how it can be fixed for 120k or 250k, I take God beg you do not listen to them.

If you can't afford the cost of replacing it, park the car till you can and do it once and for all.

Concerning this sir, it was expected today and everything was fine with the engine, I was told the fault was from the crankshaft sensor

By the way, there’s a bigger problem
The reverse gear is not great when I’m reversing towards a hill or lemme say I wan climb something backward, decline. In fact it’s not good!!!! I would have to put it in park or drive then back to Reverse …. Omoh!
This is unusual

It’s normal when it’s on a flat surface or a slope….very normal
This is a big headache for me right now…

The transmission oil was replaced.

Car has been fixed, which I'm not currently impressed with the performance.
My observation...
(1) Immediately after I drove the car(engage in D), I noticed the car was sluggish... Struggling, not smart at all...

I went to the highway, this is my car and it is part of me... I noticed my car wasn't flying the way it normally does.... Lol abt the flying...

(2) I went back to the town, and tried engaging the Gear R(reverse), as it was reversing I noticed, it stopped for 2seconds(yes 2), and the car revved high without moving, I immediately engaged the Gear (P) in Park changed it to R(reverse) it was fine....
Did that 10times in a city drive of 1hr, and it was fine.....
 
(3). Another observation I noticed is car Jerks, no be frequently sha, I won't say repeatedly or continually but e sha dey dey do am...
.


About the sluggish, the steering is kinda hard to turn at some places, most particularly when the odometer is nearly at zero..
I may be wrong about this; having the car slow(that's what my mecho call it ) reduced will cause the car to struggle when you're about to start moving/driving...
I will attach a picture.

The second photo, I'm nearing 4 here and it feels like I'm moving from 1 to 2

Lastly, I will test the GEAR S(sport feature tomorrow )
I'll see if the car moves swiftly
