So I just got a Toyota Camry 2008 V6. On moving, the car is making knocking noise that is so much that it gives me headache. The noise is coming from the back and at first I thought it was something hitting the body in the trunk but nothing. Please what could be wrong?

We just changed to another starter and it still didn't come on.

The rewire was saying it could be from the engine, that maybe it didn't roll.

I went to do alignment and the guy said the steering has gap so I contacted a mech to know what that meant and he told me my steering rack needs to be replaced and Toks was 35k. There's no leakage I only observe swerve on 100km.

I have asked him if it could be repaired but he said no.

I don broke and don't have such money now.

I want to know if there's any other way if fixing it apart from replacing.

Hi gurus in the house

I scanned my Toyota Corolla 2010 a couple of weeks ago and found these codes.
1) P0138 (O2 sensor high voltage bank 1 sensor 2)
2) P0607 (Control module performance)

I am thinking of DIY and replacing the O2 sensor myself. I went to spare parts dealers and the ones they called Belgium seems they were dead but were cleaned by the sellers.

I am now thinking of buying brand new on AliExpress which would be Chinese products. How good are Chinese O2 sensors.

Your car is your second most important purchase after a house. Get to know it, learn about it, read and watch YouTube. Someone said a gear master came with something with a plug? Is it an OBD2 reader or a battery tester. Be involved, ask the gears master what is this tool, what will it do?

Also this is 2023 almost, all of you guys need to have an OBD2 reader if your car is compatible.

I have a Honda Civic 2008. for over a year now I sometimes tend to hear a rattle noise coming from the engine side while accelerating specifically at low rpm towards 2000rpm when about shifting into second gear. There's no engine stall or power loss. I use fully synthetic oil 5w20 oil only. No CEL, several mechanic have checked and said the engine is fine nothing is wrong, I'm just confused. This does not happen in neutral or park but only while driving and when it engine is warmed up, especially when the thermostat is fully open at 98 degrees celsius and the fans come on, I use my scanner to monitor this vital. I have replaced the thermostat, changed coolant, flush radiator etc (I use Honda 50/50 type 2 coolant).


Since this only happens when driving, its difficult to pin point the exact location of the problem.
One time i tried draining all the fuel in the system and refilling with fuel from a different filling station. I noticed i wasn't hearing the noise anymore for a while until one day. I have tried octane booster, injector cleaners even cleaned it the injectors and the entire fuel system.

One mech said it might be a tiny leak from to top gasket, that it might be internal heat, since this only happens when its fully warmed up. I'm just confused. There is no coolant leak or anything, no smoking, engine is still quiet and sound.

P.S The rattle noise sounds like a car that's overheating and the gas pedal is pressed, but this car is not over heating(temp gauge never gets to the middle). I noticed using AC helps to reduce the chances of the rattle since the temperature hardly exceed 78 degrees celsius when the AC is on.

If I'm to describe the sound thoroughly I would say it sounds this way "ggrrrrr". Just for a short period of time ,1 -2 seconds and only happens when I step on the gas pedal at low rpm


Please I need help and suggestions. Thanks and sorry for the long write up.

I just got a hyundai sante 2015 GLS. It being driven from the port and the driver stopped for fuel and the car didnt start again. All the lights came up but the engine didnt kickstart, had to tow it home.

Rewire said it is the kickstarter. What do you think?

I need your candid advice on an issue I have been deliberating upon for some time now. I recently bought a Toyota Camry 2005, V4 which I personally plan to use for E-hailing aka Uber and Bolt. The tires that came with it are the normal iron wheels 205/65 R15 which I feel is too low, so I have decided to change the wheels to Alloy rims and change the tires to either 16R or 17R so as to get better ground clearance.

Now my question is, would changing the tires/rims to something higher like 16" or 17" affect the stability or balance of the vehicle when in motion? I don't want to tamper or raise the shocks as is the practice that is why I opted to get higher tires & rims.

Are there hazardous disadvantages or risks of using higher than specified tires/rims?

@ Gazzuzz ….my Lexus IS 350 is giving me serious ish o I had the shock changed and since then the can have not been handling well…. I mean the car was handling well and solid on the ground but now when I drive I hear sounds from the back and the feel when I turn it’s like the car might break honestly what should I do

Boss I greet you all

My dash board shows the below image with R. I took it to one rewire he seemed clueless about it A man told me it was reverse light bulb and noticed the bulbs were burnt. We replaced the bulbs on both sides and it went off and the reverse light worked.

I observed the dashboard this evening and the image was back and the two reverse light not working.

What is destroying the reverse light bulbs at the same time because I'm thinking changing bulbs again may get burn like the previous one. Car is Toyota Camry. Thanks GazuZz

Good evening everyone
I am newbie here and I came here because I am facing some issues My Lexus Es300 2003 model went for check up brake pads and bushing and arm rest change and I also complained to my Mech that the car jerks when I put it In reverse he then told me it is an issues from the drive shaft he fixed everything that day but it still jerks then he told me it is the shaft cup . I took it the next day he told me it has to cool then I left the shop by evening he fixed it already. I then took the car from the Mech to go get fuel since I was happy everything is fine back… I got fuel and then the car won’t change gear it was just accelerating .
The next day a gear master came with some wires attached to a plug and was doing some stuffs and making clicking sounds with the battery but it is still the same thing now it moves sometimes with the 1st gear but once I apply the brake and I try to move I will have to take it to neutral and then back to drive before it moves … I am really worried that my gear isn’t damaged because I don’t have much at the moment ..
pls anyone who can educate me about what’s happening I don’t want to keep spending money on the wrong thing
