amosfunmi: Oga Gazzuz, My Toyota Camry 2000 2.2liters engine 5sfe California Model is having a hard start in the morning and any time the car is parked for a longer period before starting. The engine cranks well, the engine starts and die immediately after starting until the third or fourth cranking before the engine runs. Things I have done so far -The battery has been two and half years so I changed to a new one(Solite 75Amphr) -Replaced the fuel Pump and fuel filter -Changed Air filter -Changed the Engine coolant Temperature sensor. -Cleaned the IAC Valve. with all these changes the issue of difficult starting is still there. what else should I check for? the car drives well and display no CEL. I also observe little fluctuation in RPM when engine idles at the working temprature. kindly help me out. thanks The car drives well
replete: I really don't know but the mechanic removed it and sent his boy to take it to the repairer. I actually doubted it at first reason why am still running ordinary water in it but the reservoir level haven't dropped since then though I noticed it dropped from F to about the L mark the next morning but ever since it has remained at that level. Still observing till my next oil change to revert to coolant.
High pressure systems should not be glued, they fail under stress.

The electricals of the civic 2006-12 are extremely fragile and worse when abused. As much as factory specs is good, be prepared to replace whole modules (fuse boxes also) if you want to PROPERLY revert to factory settings.
If you are not ready to do it the right way, do not start.

Ochima75: 2003 honda accord delays to move when engaged in "". Even when it finally moves it disengages on motion, i have to rev the car high before it picks up again, and it doesn't switch to gear 2. I have replaced gear oil & filter due to this, still no change. I cleaned out the "solenoid sensor" beside the gearbox and samething still happens. Anytime it delays in moving when i shift to D the green light near D starts blinking with check engine light. I scanned and it showed "shift solenoid A valve stuck open" sometimes it's "shift solenoid B valve stuck opened". It just dangles between both
I met several gear mechanics,they tell me the gearbox is gone,i should go get another gearbox or rebuild the one on it, even without scanning. I personally don't feel it's true and from research i have been making, some people still experience such even after replacing the gearbox.
Please anyone who had experienced this before and how did you get it resolved because car has been resting since before Christmas.
Please my 2010 Camry makes this irritating noise when break my brakes are applied . Does it mean my break pads are due for changing? As regards the current performance of the brakes, they work perfectly fine.

The Abs was replaced in the past, and that pipe was not tightened properly .
The problem am having is with my Toyota camry 2004
Never had any issue with it until 4 days ago when it stopped on a reverse. I checked the fuses and noticed the EFI fuse has cut,so i replaced it and ignited the engine,it cuts also.
So i decided to consult Google and was adviced to remove other fuses leaving the EFI fuse and should gradually replaced them. ...
I did and discovered d horn wire was d caused because it was naked and touching and its fuse was replaced with a strong wires which could not cut hence d EFI fuse ..
I removed d horn fuse and replace d EFI fuse and alas it worked but the fire was low and the car would stall/stop whenever i applies brake
I drove/managed it home and decided to meet my Auto mechanic who i told to check d wiring...
He did everything and the car was good to go but still stall whenever i applies brakes....
I noticed my idle time was about 0.5 and the car tends to jerk or shake whenever i start it or apply throttle but i was told the car would relearn cos the battery was removed.
This morning,when i ignited it,i noticed the jerking but the idle time was about 1.5 and the car wasnt shaking.
I stopped it and resrart it again,it jerked also before igniting.....then i stopped it..
I did it d 3rd time,it jerked and this time,the idle gauge didn't move at all (0) and the battery sign didnt goes off...i couldn't move the gear at all so i stopped it.
I tried starting again, it will not crank nor jerk but only shows "check engine" and airbag sign and nothing again..
I checked all the fuses but none is broken.
Am tired and a bit frustrated...my jan 1st is going messy i can't get to my Auto as today is 1st and he isn't around

Engine not starting
Got this 2014Audi A6 2.0 TFSI petrol that shut down in transit, the engine just went off but the all the lights were still being powered. Tried turning it on, but it didn’t come on. The lights are still being powered, so the battery is still great.
Just before the shutdown, at a traffic light stop, I switched over to manual to get a feel of what the paddle shifters are like. I admit, there was quite a fumble initially, I missed the shift for some seconds so there was a REV, but quickly got into it, i think I got it to 3 (sequentially Ofcourse ). So when I got to a speed bump, I started to slow down, still changing gears with the shifter and suddenly climbing the bump it just went off. The passenger in the car with me said he observed some smoke coming into the car. I didn’t notice, couldn’t perceive a burning smell, got the car towed, had someone come check it out, he said the starter wasn’t kicking, got a new one, now it’s kicking but the engine is not rolling. Took a further look at the engine, tried to roll the crankshaft but it seems stuck/jammed. Now I’m being told that I might have to change the engine.

mogreen22: Hello house. Please I got a Honda Accord 2013 late November and i serviced with Mobil one Extended performance and the maintenance was restarted. Ie Oil life back to 100. Thing is I have driving the car for only 3,000 miles and oil life is on 0 already. Normally extended performance as they claim is supposed to do 15k miles but I change at 5k miles on previous car. So do you think I should still follow the 5k mile rule on the extended performance or I should change the oil at this 3k oil 0 life
