akinyemire: I hav used honda 2003 and presently using toyota camry 03.In my opinion toyota camry 03 is better in all ramification.Starting from fuel consumption and maintenance.And as per fluid,honda engine buttom plate is copper which means it will break if it hit by any strong obstacle unlike toyota .The list is endless.
Hyundaix35: my own opinion go for Hyundai because the engine is 2.0 and gearbox is CVT which make it faster than civic 1.8 engine not because am Hyundai mechanic but you can see for your self

Rekete: Please, I have a Highlander with VIN JTEHF21A810015556. I have had to work on the gear box sometime last year. For more than two weeks, the selection was smooth and fine. Within the third week, I noticed that the movement is smooth from gear 1 to 2, but when going to 3, it will slow down almost to a halt and then you feel a jerk, and the subsequent selections will be smooth you won't even know when.
I have approached gear specialists here in Abuja, and they told me it is the brain box, and that nothing was wrong with my gear box. Now, I want to buy the brain box, but I'm confused. I don't want to buy gear box and other issues now come with it.
Rekete: Thank you very much for this insight. I went to that Ladipo to get an engine for my Corolla, and I was sold a dead engine. My engine was even better than what I bought. Had to finally sell the car for peanut.
Now I have a highlander that I've been advised to change the ECU, but I fear to. The transmisson jerks when changing from 2 to 3, bit the rest is smooth. 1 to 2, and then 3 and above are smooth. 2 to 3 makes a 'kpa' sound, accompanied with a jerk.
In fact, I want to sell the ride because I don't want to get a bad ECU that would come with other issues.

The only thing I would add to your post is that Nigerians should make masks for themselves and wear if they need to go outside for supplies especially in a mall or shop as there is evidence of the chances of being infected from micro droplets coming out of the mouth of an infected person with or without syptoms.
These droplets can stay up in the air for 20mins.
Washing of hands cannot be over emphasised...for external protection. Then avoid drinking cold stuff this period and drink hot liquid preferably one with health benefit every morning.
This would destabilise the virus in the event it had gotten through our defences as it always congregates in the respiratory tracts.
Finally find a way of sun bathing early in the morning.
somethinggood: I noticed my sienna 2005 model doesn't move like before and felt like there is a blockage somewhere and vibrates on hold, also there was a sound as u crank the engine... Mechanic tonned camshaft and said its silencer touching the body of vehicle... He asked panel beater to check which the panel beater changed silencer net and work on silencer.. Still yet the problem is there... Engine mileage is 200788 as at this morning

That correlation, seems you have issues with the variable timing, or timing belt was installed wrong on the 3mz engine.
Start with checking for sludge and clogged vvti screen filters on both banks.
