Good day everyone,

I am a Nigerian student currently studying at one of Wuhan's universities. Due to privacy concerns i decided to open this account to describe the situation of Nigerians currently in Wuhan in the midst of the corona virus outbreak. This post was necessitated by the following false report attributed to our honorable Minister for information in the Nigerian media:

1. Only 16 Nigerians in Wuhan?

The total number of Nigerians in Wuhan to my recollection currently stands at over 50 people. We have been able to coordinate ourselves, and support each other in this trying period.

2. We Don't want to leave?

This statement is the bone of contention, and has caused panic in the Wuhan Nigerian community. The Nigerian Population in Wuhan includes students, researchers, and Businessmen, many of whom are with their wives and children. These people are all at risk of getting infected each time they leave their place of residence to find food to eat or water to drink in a city that looks like a ghost town with supplies running out each day.

Right now countries that have successfully evacuated their citizens (South Korea, Kazakhstan, India, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, Italy, Germany, Indonesia, etc.) have proven the possibility of evacuation without infection. So the question becomes why is our case different?

We are therefore pleading with the Nigerian government to please rescue us from this situation, as we are ready to appease their fears by:

1. Being tested and quarantined on arrival
2. Fund our travel expenses.

We are humans, people who are citizens of a great nation who do not deserve to be publicly sentenced to death by a country we are proud of.

Why am not overly worried about this hopeless issue is that from childhood, MY FATHER HAS ALWAYS TAUGHT ME THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE NATURAL OCCURING IMBECCILES. They are imbecciles by nature and as such, very useless. They are like mineral resources and whether you like it or not, they must exist.. The least you can always do is to extract them like the mineral resources they are, use them and discard them in the dustbin.

Just for anybody that wants to learn;

LASDRI CARD
The LASDRI CARD LASDRI is a card issued by the Lagos state drivers institute strictly for commercial vehicle drivers, pick-up owners and company vehicles’ drivers.

So Unless you are a complete morron, you have no business with this card as an Uber driver. You are neither a commercial vehicle driver, tanker driver, pickup driver, lorry driver or company driver. You are a vehicle owner sharing your destination with other riders headed in the same destination. So you share the fuel money! Thats the original plan of ehailing. Ride sharing! Even if you want, let the name on drivers licence be different from particulars, its very useless to me. I can claim am using my friends car to head to my office... So I picked a rider headed the same way. How you present your arguement to them is up to you.



HACKNEY PERMIT

The hackney permit is simply a licence for vehicles below a certain weight category to carry goods within a state. Please pay attention to CARRY GOODS. This documents should be issued to you at the point of registering your vehicle and does not require any form of inspection whatsoever.

So unless YOU ARE A TOTAL IDDIOT or you know your car is a Kabu Kabu, Tanker or J5, I wonder what an uber driver is doing with a hackney permit. Anyways I don't blame some of you. Most of your cars are already looking like Trailers and Hausa Gwongworo (911) meant for carrying Nama and Goat.

This explains why some riders will want to put freezer in my car.

Some of you that answer tough names on this forum but are just asss wipes in real life, your real LIFE names should either be DOKPEMU, IDIMU OR IGANDO with the shapes of your head below.

I came across this oil from a very reputable wholesale lubricant seller. My 09 accord previous owner was using mobile 20w-50, can I use this one before finally switching and settling down to the original mobile1 synthetic 5w-20 recommended?

Please I recently got an Honda City 2007, it's my first car, I dont know the oil that has been used before but I noticed the oil has dropped below the guage point. And the car doesn't smoke.

The recommended oil i saw online is 5W40 and another place 5W30. Which do you advise is right and can I start using it immediately.

I acquired a company used Toyota Corolla at 120,00km use. The live bay I took it for serving used 20W50 grade oil but the specs on it states 5W30 specs.

I want to use Manufacturer's recommendation but they argued its unnecessary for a car not new or under 100,000km.

Kindly advice the best, i read online and found our ambient temperature arguments but we have European countries with these temperature range during the summer and still uses Manufacturers recommendations

Good day Gazzuzz and other car gurus.

I drive a corolla 2007 sport I bought last October. 
It's engine is heavily slugged cos the former owner was using the wrong oil grade.
So, in December, I flushed it with Liqui Moly and switched to mobil1 synthetic oil
The problem now is, the oil gets short persistently despite driving the car for just once a week, about a 100 km to and fro.

The car drives smoothly, doesn't smoke nor leaks.

What could be the problem sirs and kindly suggest solutions.

Good day sir! @GAZZUZZ Although I have posted this issue in the car comparison thread, I still deem it necessary to know ur opinion on this....
I intend to start a cab business a.k.a taxi in some months time in akure city. But am yet to decide which on vehicle to purchase. I have selected 3 options ; The vw golf3 toks, Nissan micra toks and 06 KIA rio naija used. Pls I need ur honest opinion according to this criterias so I can choose the very best among them.
1. Fuel economy
2. Cost of repair and parts
3. Durability
4. Availability of good mechanics
