Good day, just a quick enquiry. I have been using a conventional 20w-50 forte Visco 2000 engine oil as recommended by my mechanic which I change every two months for my Toyota camry for 3 years now as against the 5w-30 as recommended by the manufacturer but I have not been having issues till date just little fuel consumption which I believe its part of wear and tear I might be wrong. However recently have been reading a lot on naira land about car owners not following the recommendation as stated by the car manufacturers.

My question is can I still keep using the forte oil Visco 2000 20w-50 or I switch to the synthetic oil of 5w-30/40? Still want to keep the engine in shape

Good day Gazzuzz, I'm facing some challenges, when I rev my car I noticed a deep sound, I assumed my exhaust pipe might have damaged, when I met a mechanic/panel beater he said it's the back pot, that the muffler inside has damaged and changing the entire pot will be the best solution.
On getting to an exhaust pipe dealer, he said the cause of the deep sound is the catalyst, we are now tore between which one to tamper and I'm scared, the panel beater is suggesting we change the back pot 1st, if the deep sound persists we will turn to the catalyst
Plz help me proffer solution before they ASSAULT this ride of mine,

There is very limited things solar can power,even with the ones that you install for up to N1million.
The thing is incompetence has bedeviled us for long, particularly these past 4 years

Do you have 5w20? Its the recommended oil stated on the oil cap of my Accord 2008. Car is just bought as tokunbo and this would be the first service in Nigeria.

I checked car service history, owner has been servicing with Castrol, last servicewas done at 158k and car is on 162k now with 40% oil life

Dear experts, I am a first time car owner. Would you recommend I go for the Accord 2008 or 2009 model. I've read reviews on the model and the reviews are not nice especially with oil consumption and rear brake pad wearout. What other make do I go for. Budget is tight though thanks

Good day Chief Gazzuzz, make una help me thank God for my life, I lost control of my vehicle yesterday, it did a 360 and threw me into the bush as seen, I lost 2tyres(drive side) side mirror and the exhaust(all has been fixed) did alignment too after Channing tyres, so far nothing seems wrong in engine
Pls is there any thing else i need to look out for to fix?
