Evening Gazzuzz, my 06 corolla threw up check engine light three weeks ago and after a week it went off by itself. After about ten days d check engine light came back and I decided to scan. Biko i have a serious issue with my 2007 honda civic MAF. The MAF only works when I just start the car and cuts out few minutes after causing my engine not rev pass 3000rpm as this then cause poor acceleration and gear not shifting properly.

I have bought 2 different Hitachi follow come MAF and they act this way. Only works at car start up and car restart whenever it cuts out.

Please what do you think is the problem??

its a 2.0 engine ...the initial problem burnt the top gasket and I noticed some cracks at the top cylinder .the mechanic is advising that we change the half engine that the oil pump is not working
